The cup / over ear type works with my girlfriend's hearing aids!
For someone who likes to simply use a mini-plug, and, yet, get fine sound quality, these are wonderful. Although my girlfriend has hearing aids, the cup / over ear design, which, importantly, does not allow contact with her hearing aids, gives her the world of sound! ... We added XL ear pads, thinking that they might feel a bit cooler. We also ordered the little boom mic. Not knowing how to install either one, I called v-moda customer service, and I understood!

Right ear stopped working today, 5 months from purchase.
I noticed my right headphone was cutting out today and thought it was only my V-Moda BoomPro Michrophone. But after check the sound with another cable, I found to realize that the right ear still cut in and out and then finally no sound at all emanated. I even tried to use the Bluetooth (which was working perfectly earlier today) but the sound from the right side still remained absent. The left ear still works perfectly. I really liked these headphones and they have worked very well until now and I can't stand having audio from one side so they're useless to me now... I expected much more life from these headphones but unfortunately, I will have to leave a 1 star review.

Better look for some other options.
Pros: the look is great, construction feels good in hands, great set of accessories including quality case and cable. They’re compact and look good on the head. That’s pretty much it.
Cons:
1) I find their sound to be quite mediocre (at least paired with iPhone): it’s not spacious, there’s no immersion into your music, also I’d not call them loud headphones - they’re average in terms of volume.
2) Clamping force and poorly designed cushions would make my ears suffer from pain after like 40-60 minutes - though these headphones are marketed as over-ear, they are more like on-ear unless you have small ears.
3) The latency is HUGE when paired with iPhone, like 1 second. It’s very irritating: you press the button and it takes some time to make an action.
4) Durability is straight trash: single drop was enough to damage both speakers and now I have to return them to their service, pay extra money at least for shipping and take some measures to repair them.
5) Battery life is unacceptable in 2019. 14 hours is like nothing, especially when compared with Solo 3’s, having 40+ hours of battery life easily.
6) 350$ - there are some great competitors at this price point. Even if there weren’t any, still these cans have too many flaws to justify their price tag.

Company masquerades as a high end headset company. They are far from it.
The headphones sound great and work well for music. These wont work well for gaming on a PC, just a fair warning. I enjoyed my headphones until two screws fell out within 24 hours of each other. I've never adjusted the screws or tampered with them in any way. I contacted V-Moda and requested replacement screws, willing to pay for the screws and the shipping. They don't offer replacement parts and would only repair them if still under warranty. They could have just mailed me ten cents worth of screws that I was willing to pay for and keep an audio file such as myself happy. After this experience I would not consider V-Moda a high end audio company.

Yes these can blow your mind, they are super loud and super clear. I'm using them with Soundblaser X USB, very very clear and very loud. Great quality, bluetooth works great, however not nearly as loud. Seem to last all day on batteries, I haven't drained them yet.

Sounds phenominal
1 week with them and so far I’m loving them. Sound quality is superb corded. Just now, after 1 week, started to .istening to them wireless and they sound 95% as good as corded.
The only noticeable difference is volume. Doesn’t seem as loud cordless but make no mistake you still WILL NOT have them close to all of the way up. I’m running them mostly off an iPhone XS Max

These are without a doubt the BEST sounding headphones I've ever tried!
These sound absolutely incredible. The sound profile is very close to the source material. It was weird at first cause I'm used to TONS of bass but once I got used to it, it was audio perfection.
m My ONLY gripe is after a little over a month the power stopped turning on. BUT, Amazon customer service helped a GREAT DEAL in getting them working again.

Simply amazing
These headphones are absolutely amazing ‼️ I never realized how much of the music I was missing. These have changed my life in the sense that they have changed the way I thoroughly enjoy my music. Especially classic rock & salsa music. They are not Bass heavy which is a real plus. I just love these particularly the independence they provide via Bluetooth. Don’t pass on these.

Great sound with a few but not deal-breaking draw-backs
The sound is amazing once equalized for your own preference. I don't have it since a long time now, but so far it seemed that those 14 hrs are not quite 14 hrs of use - not even 8, will pay a closer look.
Downsides : while comnected through wire with an android phone ( don't know about iOS ) the physical button on the headphones stops working and the button located on the wire itself can only be used for play/pause/next/previous - so there is no way of controling the volume without having the phone in your hands.
That's it so far. Will update the review as time passes

Style + Sound + Quality = Worth Every Penny
Style, sound, quality, V-Moda has it all. I have been using their headphones for the past 6 years, and I have held off on going Bluetooth just because of pricing. I decided to cave and go for the Crossfade 2 and it was a well-made decision. After checking out the top-of-the-line Bose and Sony models in store, I decided to check what V-Moda had before making the decision.
Once they arrived, I could tell I made the right decision. Without even holding them I could tell that they have a much stronger durability than either of those other two brands, which I need because I'm in the gym almost daily. They're also a beautiful set of headphones, and I can confidently say that I will be a customer of theirs for life.

Sound loss - wasted money
After years of buying cheap headsets I thought I'd give these a try for a nice comfortable long lasting pair. At first I liked these a lot. Comfortable, nice sound and not so great mic. After 1 yr 7 months the sound started to go quite in the right ear. I handled the head set carefully and could see no noticeable wiring issues and found that I had the same issue regardless of the device ( tested my 2 different comps and my phone). Eventfully the left cup started to go as well and I could barely hear anything in the right. For a headset that is a bit pricey and supposed to be quality it was disappointing it didn't even last as long as a cheap $30 dollar headset.

My first purchase with v-moda hasn’t been a good one!
Unboxed this to find out that there were small scratches on the rose gold metal part on multiple places..straight out of box!! Ignored the scratch thinking that it would get scratched anyway as and when I use. Music quality is good but it is very uncomfortable to wear more than 15 mins!!
I am returning this product highly disappointed with the quality check/control which would have prevented a scratched product hitting the market!

Die Verarbeitung der Kopfhörer ist tadellos und wertig. Tontechnisch ist der bassbereich leicht angehoben, fügt sich aber perfekt in das Gesamtbild ein. Sehr fein auflösende Kopfhörer, aber nicht analytisch und sehr dynamisch. Klare Empfehlung

I think these Forza Metallo IEMs are excellent. I was a little dubious before I opened them because the packaging is so flashily designed that I thought this may be a case of style over substance, but I was quite wrong. They are very well made and the sound quality is outstanding.
The IEMs are plainly a high-quality product, with machined aluminium bodies, a good cable and high-quality strain relief. There is a nice little carry-pouch and good range of silicone tips, ear hooks and so on so you'll be able to make them comfortable for whatever you need them for. (Please be aware that these are wired-only IEMs so if you need Bluetooth, these won't be for you.)
The sound is the most important thing for me and I think it is excellent in all genres. It is extremely sharp and accurate; articulation is crisp and very clear over the whole range and there's a very good balance. The bass is superb, I think; it is very solid and gives a full depth to instruments like a theorbo or viola da gamba (which really test bass) and in rock it is powerful but never boomy or over-dominant. Tracks with a really deep bass like Chvrches' Leave a Trace or London Grammar's Hey Now sound the best I have ever heard through IEMs and classic rock like the Stones or The Who is fantastic. Middles are lovely, tops are sparklingly clear without any harshness and the sheer detail audible through such small units is remarkable.
I find these a real pleasure to listen to. I have listened to a lot of music through them now including my Test Playlist which I use to compare audio products. This runs from 16th-Century choral music to London Grammar and covers most things in between and I think everything sounds really good. Articulation of individual orchestral instruments is excellent, chamber music sounds superb and crystal-clear, acoustic music has lots of light and air, rock really rocks, and so on. I the clarity, richness, depth and balance.
I have used a much-loved pair of RHA MA600 for many years and more recently I have also been using HifiMan RE-400s, both of which are very good indeed. I prefer these to either; they cost significantly more but if you care about sound I'd say they're worth every penny. I'm delighted with them and can recommend them very warmly.

I’m not a headphone expert myself and tend to go for the cheap and cheerful so these were a treat.
I often struggle with earbuds being too big but these are comfortable and fit nicely in my ear. They also come with a number of different ear bud options. The sound quality also seems good although I am by no means an expert. I use them whilst riding my motorcycle and generally I have found I need the volume on full to hear anything over about 50mph which then deafens me at lights/cross roads etc. but these earphones have been brilliant and I have been able to hear my music throughout my journey, nice and quietly in the background which I had previously given up on.
The earphones themselves do look quite sleek and flashy and came with a nice little pouch. The only issue I have with the pouch is that the strong magnetic closure means it gets stuck to things in my bag (including my phone) and attracts hairpins like no body’s business! They have a tangle- free cable (which I thought was a gimmick) but I have to say, they really don’t tangle as much as earphones I have had in the past.
The jack on the earphones is weirdly long and it makes it quite annoying trying to store your phone/device in a pocket or bag whilst connected. I’m not sure they are quite worth the price tag but they do the job I need so I am happy.

I call them ear buds, always have, but yes they are wonderful in-ear headphones.
They absolutely ooze quality, from the box to the product inside. None of this cheap plastic, the smooth black box with a magnetic lid, you can tell the manufacturer really cares about presentation. The headphones themselves follow this with a beautifully crated metal form, great to look at and even nicer to touch. Sound quality is stellar, for such a small unit the range and clarity is really impressive. I've always rated the standard Apple ear pods, despite them often breaking after a few months, for a cheap product the sound is great. But the Forza is miles better, and I would expect them to last much longer.
Noise cancellation isn't amazing, but then it rarely is with in-ear headphones, but I'd say they perform just fine in this respect.

I was REALLY impressed with these earphones, from opening the box to using them. They have a really high quality feel to them and so many options for making them work best for you - a good range of four sizes of ear buds, with a spare of each size, as well as sport fins to help them stay in your ears during exercise. The box is an example of really thoughtful and quality design - fun to explore and definitely a keeper.
The cable is reinforced with kevlar (!!!) to help protect it, making it that bit thicker than normal earphone cables, and it is a nice inconspicuous colour too. I appreciated the clip that came with it so I could clip it to my clothers - handy as the earphones aren't designed for one to reach around your neck, as I am used to with my Sennheiser ones so they can be otherwise a little hard to arrange unless under a t-shirt and hanging over the neckline. The thickness of the cable did make it harder to pack the set away though as the wires are less bendy due to being more reinforced. Not a big problem though. There is a small pouch that comes with the set to put them away in but I felt this was a weak point of the package - it closes magnetically, which is fine, but it was a touch ugly for me. Vaguely reminiscent of Batman though in shape which made up for it slightly!
The inline controls for volume and pause/play worked great with my iPhone 6S and I found it all quite straightforward to use. Not a lot to write about there.
I think these earphones would definitely appeal to anyone but perhaps especially a gadget fiend type of guy, as it certainly drew in my fiance like a moth to a flame. He loves messing about with gadgets, and the nice box, ear bud options and fins kept him interested for quite a while! I'm not as excited about that but I really like how small the actual ear bud is when it's in your ear - I don't have huge ears and normal Apple headphones always feel too big/hard to be comfortable. I need a long journey to make a real judgement call on these for comfort but I've been very happy so far on my commute - they really cut down ambient noise too which has been great for hearing all the facets of my music, but less great for road safety so it's one ear in and one ear out for walking around!

As far as I'm concerned the most important things about in-ear headphones are sound quality and fit.If you can't get a good fit and consistent seal, the sound suffers immensely. This set hits the mark on both fronts and has several extra benefits.
Firstly. The sound. Really clear, crisp, dynamic and it feels really balanced. I could listen to these for hours. The bass is powerful and punchy but not overwhelming, the mids are smooth and open and the treble is restrained but clear. Really nice. Good for all sorts of music. I've listened to all sorts on these and they always sound great: Beethoven, Chopin, the Avalanches, the Beatles, Sufjan Stevens, Autechre... Rock, pop, electronic, classical, it's all great. Not into metal but I think this would do a good job with the kick-drum hammering and screaming guitars you get on some heavier tracks.
The fit: A particular bugbear for me because I appear to have peculiarly shaped ear canals and usually have to fit my in-ears upside down and back to front - otherwise they never seal remotely properly and usually just fall out if I follow the usual instructions. So these are great - I did have to go the usual route of going upside down etc but they fit brilliantly and reliably. I then followed my usual additional step (don't try this at home) of filling the interior of the exchangeable tips with mouldable silicon glue and then wearing the headphones for about half an hour before delicately removing - instant custom buds, with an indelible seal. The 'phones also come with loads of accessories for ensuring a good fit - both over-ear and 'in-ear' grips. These are no use for me as far as the fit goes because of my weird biology but they do hold the cable firmly in place and will no doubt prevent sounds travelling up the cable.
Other bonuses:

Stylish, minimalist, unobtrusive aesthetics
Good mic and standard headset controls
