Having had a museum-full of iPhone speaker docks in the past, I was used to tinny speakers, low volume and chunky designs.
This little box is a delight! Small, loud, and with a good quality of sound (perhaps a bit bassy). Pleasing design. Rechargeable batteries that last ages.

The only downside is that this is not white with grey. It is grey. All over.

Oh, and at first I couldn't get the volume to increase much. Turns out that you can use both the volume on the boombox and on your phone/ipod. So turn up the boombox to max, then control the volume from your phone in your pocket. Great!

Seriously stop!

This thing is awesome, it plays anything from Rap, Rock, Dance and Indie absolutely perfectly. The sound quality is amazing and the battery lasts a very long time. The volume levels are loud enough to piss off your neighbors as well. For the price you can't get anything better and it even beats most of the really expensive speakers.

Nothing else I can say really, buy it and you'll not be disappointed.

After doing quite a bit of research into the best bluetooth speaker for my iPhone 5 without spending a fortune, I bought this and it is just superb. It took seconds to set up and works perfectly. The sound quality deteriorates somewhat at the higher end of the volume scale but that's not what we need it for. We were looking for something to use in the kitchen and to take on holidays with us and this is just perfect. It's also way tinier than we expected.

Its ease of set up has totally taken us by surprise.

Wonderful product, highly recommended!

Bought to take on Holiday
easy to connect to my bluetooth devices.
Great sound and bass from such a tiny box, filled my hotel room with decent sound, took it out on the beach and it sounded great within 10 ft.
Only downside was that the battery could have lasted longer, cut off after a few hours at the beach

Makes a lot of noise for such a small box! Very impressed with it. I chose this one for USB charging (no specialist charger needed), long battery life (just seems to go on and on), and ease of pairing (it remembers my phone and pairs practically instantaneously with no dropouts). It's not the cheapest but it's a great product.

It may be that I have too many devices in my flat... but then again, it may just be that bluetooth speakers are asking for interference.

I love the design, I love the idea, but the execution is lacking. This thing loses a clean connection when someone walks between it and the device that is "connected" to it. When it works it is a fine thing, the problem is, I don't want interference in the middle of a tune, a podcast or a video call! :(

Have now had the boombox for a week now - For use when travelling on business. I work in Pakistan where power is inconsistent and it has been brilliant with Skype and FaceTime calls as well as acting as an enhanced set of speakers for my Macbook Air.

Its about the same size and weight as a can of coke. The rubber cover certainly helps with the knocks and bumps of travelling and the bluetooth connection is solid for up to about 15m.

Great piece of kit!

I use this when I travel. It's light enough and small enough to fit in my hand luggage but big enough to fill my hotel room with sound. Bluetooth connection is pretty simple although I just connected by trial and error - still not quite sure of the correct procedure. Working well from laptop, mobile and tablet. Battery life seems pretty good too. I have had it playing non stop for several hours without any sign of the battery packing in. Probably a bit over-priced, nevertheless, a good product.

We have been really impressed with this boombox. The sound quality is great and it is light and portable. We have taken it away on holiday, listened to it in the car and out in the garden. The connection range is good and overall it is a useful product.

Its a really good speaker unit. It can play high and very clear.
Only negative is it could need some more bass. But again, you get more then you expect in this little unit.

It has a bit of trouble with heavy base at full volume but all in all a very good buy.

I bought this for garden use with my iPhone 4S. It is simply superb. I can keep my phone beside me acting as. Remote control, can listen to Internet radio as well as my own music. Sound quality is great for the money. Battery life excellent. Really pleased and highly recommend.

Boy - did I do some research. I spent days trying to work out what to buy, from all the wireless speakers available. My needs were: -
Bluetooth connection - check!
Rechargeable battery - check!
Hardwire socket - check!
Good looks - check!
and a good sound - check!
So I am very pleased with the product. Obviously it wouldn't be the sound system for Wembly Stadium, but it is more that loud enough for my purposes in my house.

It is very good to watch movies in a noisy room (for example when ironing or cooking with the extract). It's not extremely loud but loud enough to hear everything. It is also very tiny and easy to use. Love it :)

I got this to be able to listen at home, primarily for podcasts and other spoken content. We also use it for music as the quality of the audio is very good (then again the audio is going via Bluetooth so don’t expect pristine quality). The speaker is easy to pair with your devices, holds a charge well and is nice and small enough to be very portable.

Apart from the rather frustrating packaging this is a fantastic product, awesome volume (It can get very loud indeed) and the sound quality whilst not perfect is reasonable for the pricing and product type. It was slightly smaller than I anticipated but thats certainly not an issue.

Went along to my local electrical store and tried out a wide range of wireless bluetooth speakers. From jambox (mini), Beats Pill, to Bose wireless speaker. Bose, great but too expensive. Beats pill on a par with this but more expensive. Out performed the jambox. This wee gadget is very impressive. It really does have a great sound for all music genre's. Crisp, clear, enough base to satisfy most. You literally get a good quality bang for you buck.

I was really pleased with the UE Mobile Boombox, which i bought in November 2012. The sound quality when connected to my mobile was excellent for the size of the boombox.

However after only just one month it has become defective, as it struggles to connect to my mobile and any other blue tooth devices. Once connected it then randomly disconnects, This along with a buzzing noise in the background is very disapointing and more so the 30 day return policy has expired which has left me frustrated with amazon and disapointed with the product.

I wanted a very portable wireless speaker so that I could play music from my IPhone or iPod whilst travelling . Having browsed through some on amazon I went for this one because of its small size and nice compact, chunky looks. It has has completely exceeded my expectations in terms of the sound quality. I am delighted with it

Pros

- Excellent lightweight and good looking design
- Set up is very straightforward and quick and adding new devices is simple
- Bluetooth connections holds for full distance specified
- Can be used as a speakerphone

Cons

-Sound is a little lacking on the bass but excellent for its size

I wanted a portable speaker to use while I'm in the bath, at a friends house or to take on holiday and this dose the job, the sound is very clear, the bass isn't mega but certainly dose the job for the size of the speaker, I tend to use Spotyfy for my music preferences but I'm sure the sound EQ on iTunes for example will improve the bass more, iv yet to try this. All in all I'm really chuffed with this and glad I got it.

Sounds surprisingly good - especially considering its size. Good design, connectivity on Bluetooth is stabile, micro-USB to recharge. I use it mostly in the kitchen and on travel and it has become a natural part of everyday life.

Superb sound quality for a speaker it's size, you won't get massive bass or huge sound from a speaker this size but if you want that you need to buy bigger, (such as the bigger boombox from Logitech). Well made, simple to use and connect. Can be very loud if you want it to be (again considering its size, about the size of pukka pie!) if you wanted to cut the sound off quickly, it doesn't have a pause, stop, skip button etc but you can quickly hit the power switch (takes about 15 seconds to reconnect and start playing again). All in all, I wanted a portable Bluetooth speaker for uni, and this was perfect, and

Bought this boom box for my daughter and she is delighted with it. For such a small device( sits on the palm of your hand) it gives out great sound! It sits neatly on her dressing table without looking like another big piece of plug in electrical equipment as its charge lasts for about 10 hours, so no cables and so small you wouldn't notice it! I have connected my phone to it too and borrow it when she is not around even though I have a plug in Bose dock of my own. It's just easier to move the Logitech boom box around! Would recommend it!
