It does what it says and price was right. Use in blackberry curve smartphone for added storage over onboard SIM which tends to run out of room fast when holding large history of SMS text messages / email.

Absolutely love it, I can't say how fast this really is, I have no trouble waiting, and everything just loads fast and easy to use.

The card and adaptor are as advertised. The adaptor I received worked fine for me. The micro card went in and out just fine. I also noticed an improvement in speed when installed into my new "Smart Phone". It opened the large files faster. (i.e. pictures, videos,etc.). The only negative part of this purchase was the packaging. The items came in a padded envelope and the receipt enclosed was all torn up along the edges, wrinkled severely, and somewhat unreadable in certain areas. It appeared as though it got jammed in the printer that created it. But not a big deal. The card, adaptor, and plastic case were very dusty inside and out. I had to clean the items before using them. So not a real good first impression upon opening the package. But the products were unaffected by the poor packaging and extreamely dusty condition. And the item is working fine for me.

I have a BlackBerry 8330 and this card has not given me an issue yet. Guess we will see if it holds up to the other reviews I read.

I've had good luck with Transcend memory in general as I've used many of their memory products as they seem to typically be the lowest priced on amazon. I've used probably 5-6 of these over the years without issue as well as several of the 8GB Micro SD cards.

I purchased this item to expand the storage in my Nokia n900.This item was slow at first, and then completely failed within an hour of use.Even attempts to reformat it fail. Disk Management hangs if the card is present in my laptop.I'm sending it back to Amazon for replacement, hopefully the next one will work.

The data transfer is faster than class 2 micro sand disk. The faster speed comes in handy when you are transfering a large amount of data like, writing large volume of music or pictures.

Installed in my Android Nexus one. Since Android now lets you install apps on the SD card, I figured I should get the fastest card available to minimize lag. However, I didn't notice any difference in speed compared to the class 2 it replaced.

It's pretty rare that I stray too far from SanDisk and Kingston, but I figured I'd go with a cheap card for my BlackBerry.Initially, this card was fine. But then things started getting strange after about two weeks. Files I knew I had on my card would disappear, and out of nowhere, my BlackBerry would claim that the card was corrupt. I put the card in its SD adapter and tried it in other devices... sure enough, corrupt.To make sure it wasn't the BlackBerry, I tried using the card in a camera for a few days. Unsurprisingly, after the third day, the camera popped up with "CARD NOT FORMATTED. FORMAT NOW?".Sure, every company has a few bad units. It just seems coincidental that the ones from Transcend seem to consistently make their way to me.On the bright side, Transcend has a lifetime warranty on this, so I'm going through the RMA process. All things being equal though, this is the third Transcend card that's died on me well before its time. Next time, I'll spend the extra couple dollars, and save myself some frustration.
