Le instalé en mi MacBook Air con SSD de 128 GB y me he olvidado de la falta de espacio.
La ventaja de usar una Mac es que las aplicaciones se pueden mover hacia el JetDrive y ejecutarse desde ahí sin problemas.
Sin duda la mejor adquisición que he hecho.

Adquirí este dispositivo en una Apple Store y funcionaba bien pero termino quemando la ranura sd (en el producto se recomienda dejar la memoria en la ranura), al final no hay garantía y para arreglar la ranura sd tengo que cambiar toda la placa madre ya que esta soldada lo cual es absurdamente caro.

Una excelente manera de ampliar la memoria de una mac para instalacion de Programas o guardado de archivos. Super buena compra. La amplia como una memoria mas, no lo junta con la memoria de la mac, pero se pueden instalar los programas en esta parte sin problema de acceso ni velocidad

Moved my Apple Photos library - lots more free space on the disk!
I bought this because MacOS seems to suffer from the "purgeable" disk issue where free space isn't actually usable. This meant every time I tried to update Xcode it failed.
The drive fitted perfectly, came up straight away and I've not had any issues with it disconnecting when I close/open the lid of my Macbook Air. It seems to work flawlessly and I barely notice a difference with the Photos application.
I had about 20GB of photos in the Photos Library, so I bought this to shift that to. I went through some pain to laboriously copy the whole folder, but in the end Photos had an issue with it, so I just ended up deleting the whole folder and creating an empty library (hold down Alt/Option when starting Photos). Then I let Photos sync it from iCloud. This worked great, and I soon had all of my photos on the external drive.

Erster Eindruck TOP, dann ? --> Inklusive Update
Ich habe mir das SD-Kärtchen für mein MacBook Air 13" late 2013 gekauft und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Karte kam als ExFat, ich habe sie gleich als Mac OS Extended formatiert und zuerst einen Benchmark mit Blackmagic Disk Speed Test gemacht um die versprochene Lese-/Schreibgeschwindigkeit zu überprüfen. Vorweg: Ja, passt soweit.
Bei zwei Standby-Versuchen wurde die Karte direkt wieder erkannt (macOS Sierra), ich habe aber gerade trotzdem mal die Toolbox installiert, denn es soll ja gelegentlich zu Problemen kommen.
Meiner Meinung nach integriert sich die Karte sehr gut und sollte für viele speichergeplagte MacBook-Nutzer nützlich sein. Mehr als 256GB wären jedoch in Zukunft wünschenswert.
Wer es bis hierhin durchgehalten hat, darf sich auch noch die Garantiebestimmungen, sowie weitere Bilder im Anhang anschauen.

Perfetta se usata correttamente
Pagata 42 euro con Prime. Per la cifra irrisoria ho raddoppiato la capacità di archiviazione del mio muletto, un Macbook Air i3 fine 2015. Il vantaggio di questa scheda è che non sporge, si infila e ci si dimentica di averla. Ho letto i soliti commenti del piffero, del tipo è lentissima. Certo, è lenta, io ho comunque un 42 MB/s in scrittura e oltre 90 in lettura. Una libreria di foto di 8,66 GB trasferita in meno di 3 minuti, scusate se è poco. Nessun problema a lavorare con iMovie e file di oltre 5 GB l'uno. Formattatela in Mac Os Esteso, non lasciatela in FAT32, che tanto la compatibilità con Windows e Linux in questo caso non ha senso averla. Poi volete la velocità? Prendete un disco esterno SSD con porta Thunderbolt, se volete la velocità. Ma dovete spendere centinaia di euro, e dovete portarvi dietro un cavo e una scatoletta. Per avere un archivio dove mettere musica, documenti, filmati, foto perfettamente fruibili, senza portarsi dietro cavi e scatole, senza preoccuparsi di urtare la chiavetta o la scheda che sporge, questa è la soluzione. Ed è fatta proprio per questo, quindi pretendere di farne usi diversi è insulso. Unico appunto, il colore nero che proprio è una perdita di stile da parte della Transcend.

Instant boost in available storage for an older Macbook
I bought this to complement a second-hand MacBook air that I had recently purchased; mostly to store media (music & video) leaving the internal SSD free for other things. Plugged it in, MacOS High Sierra immediately recognised it and made it available as another drive - could not be simpler.
A big plus is the almost flush fit to the side of the MacBook - has to be less than 2mm protruding (unlike a standard SD card) - may be a bit of pain if you want to keep taking it out, but as I intend to just leave it in-situ, it's perfect for me.
