Quality Product from TP Link - But for value added service you need to spend more every month.
This is first review after using 3 days.
The Product is working fine. There is no issue in the functional part
One issue is there is no defualt internal storage available. But option available to insert microSD card (128 GB) for storing the recordings. So you need to spend Another 1200 Rs for buying SD card. I am using 64 GB and it will store upto 35 to 40 days data. It will record and store only motion detected activities.
Another option is cloud storage. But the TP Link charging 300 per month. I feel it is too costly. At least they can provide person detection. In Person detection the camera will move right/Left and up/down.
The Product is working fine. There is no issue in the functional part

User Friendly
Easy installation with Tapo App. The video/picture quality of the stream is ultimate. We can view our home or our loved ones anywhere from the world live with the help of the Tapo App.
The online streaming lag for me is 5-7 seconds, since we have moderate internet speed. If we have the high speed internet there will be a lag of only 1 seconds.
The inbuild speaker has producing less volume for both two way speaking and in alarm mode.
The only major issue I felt is only Tapo App admin can use the facility of pan/tile and call futures, rest call can see only the live streaming.

Value for money, superb day/night clarity
Checked lots of brands on Amazon and others. This is the best value. 3MP makes a big difference! The cell phone app Tapo has a well thought out system with easy flexibility. My Pradhan spent big bucks on an antiquated, wired DVR instead of an NVR, showed him my picture over the net, on my phone, he was crestfallen at the detail compared to his. The night vision actually works in pitch black, albeit Black and White, but not overly pixilated. You can custom set zones that will alert you to motion. Not aware if anyone else does this so well. Great camera at a very decent price vs performance ratio.

Very affordable WiFi IP Camera which is nearly perfect
This review comes after using the Tapo C100 camera for a couple of weeks
I use it to monitor a few stray cats that I take care of in my apartment. So the camera is fitted in the basement car park. I have designed a long range WiFi system and I use MotionEyeOS on a raspberry pi as a DVR.
The good points:
1. Night vision is very good. Very clear images.
2. Motion detection is good. You get a notification on the Tapo app when the camera senses movement. If you point this camera on an area which has a lot of movement, you can define zones that you want to monitor for movement.
3. Camera offers RTSP and ONIF streams. I use the RTSP stream to connect to my MotioneyeOS on the Raspberry Pi and it works quite well. That is how I am able to get still images.
4. The Tapo app is easy to use once you get a hang of it. Playback from memory card is smooth. and the live view is smooth as well (it better be!).
5. Speaker and audio is very good for the price point.
6. Easy to mount and swivel on the base.
7. Angle of view is wide.
The not-so-good points:
1. Camera only connects to 2.4Ghz WiFi and that to only to channels 1, 6 and 11. Depending on where you live, your WiFi might be weak in these channels.
2. Camera seems to go offline if there is no internet connection when it is booting up. This is a problem when there is a power cut and the Internet is not yet available before the camera boots up.
3. The alarm cannot be trigged on demand. It will automatically trigger when there is movement, if you have configured it to do so.
4. Images appear over sharpened. See example photos I have posted.
5. No cloud storage. So the cam needs to be connected to the internet for you to see the images on the card. However, this problem can be mitigated by using a DVR (MotioneyeOS in my case).
My conclusion is that for its price, the Tapo C100 is an excellent WiFi IP Camera. Just for comparison, a Raspberry Pi zero costs 1500 and a decent Raspberry pi camera with a wide angle lens and night vision costs twice as much. I have gone that route only to realise that buying a readymade WiFi IP camera is cheaper.

Very good camera, very rich settings, good wide angle view, very good night vision
This camera is very good. It has very good wide angle view. Even night vision quality is very good. The settings are also many making it very flexible - I am able to make it restart once every day. Also, if cloud backup is subscribed, then backup videos are available even if somebody steals the camera.

На этом устройстве нет опции 360p, поэтому в зонах со слабой скоростью Wi-Fi / Интернета изображение либо не отображается, либо часто прерывается. В остальном это хороший продукт для домашнего наблюдения.
