You have to pay to avail all services
It is a very compact product that can fit almost anywhere. The only drawback is that most of the features that it offers are cloud based and requires you to pay to avail them.
Features like "rich notification", where the phone notifications also contain a screenshot when the motion is detected, should have been included as part of free service (at least when connected to the same wifi). As of now, the only free notification that you get is an alert with the date and time the motion was detected and you need to open the app and wait for it to load up before knowing what motion had occured.
AI motion detection also should have been a locally available free feature instead of relying on cloud. The normal motion detection is not very perfect and has few false positives.
Also, a web UI would have been nice to have instead of relying only on the Tapo app to view and configure the settings.
Overall, as a normal ip camera with recording, this is great but most features that it provides requires paid cloud connectivity which was disappointing and it lacks a web UI. Hence,
I would recommend that you check other brands before deciding to buy this.

Configuration is pretty easy for any novice. Night mode is good as well.
Only flaw i feel is that the head portion is bulky while its resting stand is not heavy leading to the camera movements if not screwd down.

At this price there is no other option better than buying it by Amma's 6000 rupees I can vouch for the best quality and best service. The only limitation with this is that if you are not connected to the internet you cannot correct the time and date, please find a solution for that.

A very clear video cctv
Bought it to monitor my flat while i was gone. Gave me a peace of mind.
- the Night vision is very reliable
- Video clarity if very commendable
- cost is affordable (maybe subjective)
- set up is easy
- motion detection is a bit too sensitive. So be ready to recieve tons of alerts.
What I wish -
- a micro SD card bundled with it
- a more affordable cloud subscription (as it is pretty reliable, you'd want one, however to shell out another 399/month is a bit much)
- when it detects motion, i wish it could follow the source, but then that would probably increase the cost.
Overall, a really good cctv that you can rely on while you are away (provided uninterrupted wifi)
P.S, you can talk with persons in the room via this.

Good security cam for home use
We are using this as an outdoor security camera and so far the feedback is positive. The installation and setup itself is quite easy. The app is good and allows to modify settings as per user's requirements. You can receive notifications for motion or person detections, along with a screenshot as well as 1-2inute video recording.

Best camera at this price range.
Even a small 5 watt we see colors at night time.
Bought qubo cameras earlier and wasted my money.
This one is much better.
Clarity really good at night time.

I was sent a used product...
It was definitely not a new sealed product. It looked like a returned product resold to me...it was dusty inside, original stickering worn out etc.. but the product works n i am ok with it.

Sound is good but clarity is not upto the mark.
Using this cam since few days. Look is good, sound is good but the picture quality is ok, not as expected. (When we zoom, its not that clear what it should be). Its ok for a small 10×10 sqft area.

Tapo cam is very good and working as expected and 32gb sd card can record upto 3 days and continue in loop mode. We can see person and motion detection events
