I really enjoyed this movie quite alot because it has action, it's funny and has a little romance too. This is the 1st movie I have seen with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp together and I enjoyed the easy way they interacted with each other in this movie. They were a perfect fit for the stars.

Depp and Jolie in a light adventure movie. Colorful scenery on clear Blu-ray disc. A nice relaxation movie with or without popcorn.

At first I thought this was going to be a cornball movie. I was shocked to see how great it actually was. The ONLY reason I rated this as low as I did was due to shipping. The seller charged me for shipping, yet I had to pay shipping expenses when the movie arrived. I contacted the seller and they told me I had to research why and produce proof. That was their job in my opinion. So hopefully I want run into this seller again!

Pay no attention to those who complained; this film is elegance and grace refined. It's classy, sassy, sweet and visually stunning; an old-school Hollywood romance, set in Euro-moderne Paris and Venice. And fun; like, "Ocean's 11"-caper fun, with great moments of subtle humor and just enough sizzle. Truly, a great film, yet so under-appreciated. Why??

Ein MUSS für Venedig-Fans
Wenn man noch nicht in Venedig war - nach diesem Film will man hin. Der Film schafft es, die Atmosphäre der Stadt einzufangen. Die Handlung ist dabei eigentlich nebensächlich, aber trotzdem unterhaltsam. Elegante Bilder, elegante Schauspieler und 2 Stars, die für diesen Film nicht über sich hinauswachsen mussten um trotzdem zu glänzen.
Wenn man schon in Venedig war - dann fühlt man sich wieder, als wäre man noch mal dort. Und die Magie der Stadt packt einen wieder...

Johnny Depp is a fantastic actor. He is so handsome. He can play any part. I love his movies.,& him. I love this movie. I bought it for the women in my family for Christmas this year. I want to get the Lone Ranger also for them. I really love the Pirates of the Carribbean movies. I am 71 years old,& I think he is the cats meow.lol.

Eye candy for guys and gals. Whether you are a Depp or Jolie fan, this movie is really great. Action, romance, suspense, gorgeous scenery (all filmed in Venice). Not a dull moment from beginning to end, a roller-coaster ride. This movie is very well written and the end is just great! Critics slammed this movie - but it was a special film

I really like the way it is a throwback to the older films. I thought these two actors worked really well together and the story and action was good. In this day and age people are expecting way to much. I think you will like this film.

I love Johnny Depp in anything, but what I like best about him in The Tourist is that his entire performance is so understated. The plot is very intelligent and intriguing if you don't require a lot of shoot-em-up wild action. I bought it because I knew I wanted it in my personal library, and it will remain one of my favorites.

A film where fashion, beautiful people, location and cinematography are all fully realized in the midst of a story of romance and intrigue. Just enjoyable escapist entertaiment. Whats not to like with Johnny, Angelina and Venice all together? It makes you feel good and leaves you smiling!

Love-letter to Venice!
A film, which stars several big names who can (and often do) carry films on their shoulders alone, and which is supported by a script that is mildly amusing & engaging (although entirely predictable), is generally watchable. This film is not an exception. The camera lavishes praise upon Jolie, and puts Depp's "right man in wrong place" persona in proper perspective. However, the film is an unapologetic love-letter addressed to Venice, and that truly makes this film a little romantic. Recommended.

The first half of movie is mainly romance and view of the beautiful city of Venice. The action part of the movie is started in about halfway through the movie. I enjoyed this movie, and I liked the ending.

To each their own. Some of these reviews are way too serious. Of course some people are going to like it and some are not. It depends on what type of person you are. I honestly did not know how old he was going to end. I watched it for the first time recently. This movie is ridiculously elegant. Angelina is beautiful and a really good actress. Johnny Depp‘s character did so well that I was confused the whole time. The whole movie had me questioning and wondering what’s happening. There was a guy in a review before mine talking about how much this movie grossed overseas blah blah blah…. Who cares really? This is for entertainment. Should not concern us of how much a movie made or not or spent to make. If you don’t like it you don’t like it? Move it along. I think it also depends on your age. I don’t see a lot of elderly people liking this type of movie. If you’re younger like my sister and I, we enjoyed it very much. I haven’t seen such a good movie in a very long time. Angelina seriously blew me away with her elegance in this movie. So beautiful. And Johnny Depp is forever going to be handsome. Watch it for yourself and don’t listen to other people
