Good guitar if it gets a proper setup. I spent several hours on the neck. The fretwork was poor - required a major fret polish and rough edges filed. The fretboard also was rough and very dry and required some sanding and oiling. The truss rod needed significant adjustment, the bridge required a lot of adjustment including height and the intonation was way off on several strings. I also replaced the stock strings which were very poor. If you know how to do all of this stuff yourself (or are willing to pay to have it done), it can become a really great guitar. Out of the box it is very mediocre.
UPDATE: After doing the aforementioned setup work, this guitar has been great. Holds tune exceptionally well and plays like a much more expensive guitar. I cannot overstate the importance of the setup.

when this got
delivered i was over the moon and instantly
started blasting every bit of grunge i know out on it proper nice guitar everyone keeps saying you can mod them and all that but for the price its decent anyway if ya just a bedroom guitarist well worth the money cheap as chips and twice as nice the tuning heads are a bit whacky like everyone says but it plays awesome and you will look good when you are singing hello hello hello hello to yourself in the mirror the guitar is very light aswell not malteser light to the point where you can put it on your lips and blow it in the air
but it is light alltogether you
should just buy one cos it looks cool and sounds cool very happy with this guitar

Excellent guitar for a beginner like myself. Only things letting it down are-
-the packaging in the box
-no extras (seriously, would it have broken the bank to include a plectrum or a strap?!?)
-some of the work on the fret is a bit so so, glue on the boards and a little rough.
apart from that the blue glossy finish is fantastic and a great starter guitar

I am very happy with this purchase, as a beginner the shorter scale is very comfortable. The sound is much more than what I expected for this price. It looks good, it feels good and it sounds good. You can’t go wrong with one of this.

Started playing guitar again for the first time in ~10 years and saw some positive reviews online for this guitar model. Ordered it out or curiosity and have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of the guitar. Has encouraged me to continue playing 5 months in! Item arrived on time and in great condition. 5 stars!

フェンギブを探してました。ムスタングの欠点を削ったシステム。しかもフェンダーならではのハムバッキング。これは！と購入した。ただ、工場での配線ミスでtoneがボリーュームマックスでは効くが、動作不良。行きつけのリペアshopで修理しました。最高のギターになりました。フェンダー&ギブソンはケースに入れて、これからはsquierがメインギターです。😃✌️

持った感じも明らかに軽く、基本練習中も重さを感じません。
毎日触るためには軽いという要素は非常に有効だと思います。

bought it in imperial Blue the paint looks much better than pictured. A great little guitar that sounds nice with distortion pedal but the clean setting is nice on it too. needs some setting up but for the price you can't go wrong

The guitar is the perfect size and I love the short scale neck, I am having problems with the strings going out of tune when I press on the first to the fifth fret but I'm not sure if thats just a problem with the strings. I needed to have the guitar setup after I got it and the neck was super dry. There is alot of neck flex to the point sounding this a wammy bar when i pull on the neck. But with all the bad you have to remember that this is a cheaper guitar and for the price this is a very nice guitar that sounds great, the only problem that actually effects me is the strings going out of tune in the first five frets or so.

The Jazzmaster CV is a great guitar for $600CAD, although don't expect a playable instrument out of the box. The fretboard was extremely dry, the neck was arched and the bridge was too low (All things that are easy to fix). My biggest gripe with this guitar is the quality control problems, I read a lot of reviews saying the same. My guitar was really dirty, like a lot of black spots on the knobs, switch and the body of the guitar; and finally the paint was fractured where the neck strap button was screwed in. All in all for $600 is you don't mind fixing it up it well worth it. All the parts are suprisingly good quality for the price and it's one of the best feeling squiers I've owned.
