Bought this to be my first android phone. At the time of this review, i've been using it for a little over 2 months.I did all the research and for the things i needed and my budget it was either u20i or a motorola dext/cliq. I decided for this phone because the keyboard is larger and because it's so small.The phone in itself is amusingly tiny, but a little on the heavy side for the size. It has one of the smallest screens on an android phone in the market, so beware. Personally i find the screen large enough, mostly because this phone is replacing a palm centro, that has a slightly smaller screen. The touchscreen is very bright and sensitive even for people with thick fingers. Very easy to handle. The sliding mechanism at first is sharp and responsive, but it does wear down a little after a few weeks of intense use, though it's never stopped working great.The phone comes standard with OS 1.6, but Sony Ericsson launched an update recently that will install 2.1 on it, which may be a good thing for some. However, i feel the phone worked much better and smoothly with 1.6 than it does now that it has 2.1. Needless to say, the upgrade is optional, but it's rather hard going back to 1.6 once you've installed 2.1.Android is a great OS. I'm liking it much more than the old palm OSs i've used and the more recent iOS by apple. It's mighty stable, the phone hasn't crashed on me so far. It has frozen on me a few times but give it a minute and it'll get working. I love android, it's awesome.What i like the most about the phone is probably the keyboard. Much larger than a blackberry keyboard, wide and well spaced keys, and it's a breeze to type on it. However beware that i asked for a phone with QWERTY keyboard and was shipped a phone with QWERTZU keyboard. No big deal, i got used to it in a day or so, but still make sure you're getting what you're paying for.My only real beef with the phone is the battery. Sony really dropped the ball there. I could live with a phone being an a few milimetres thicker/longer/wider to get a better battery on this thing. I have tried everything, keeping wifi, bluetooth, location off, killing unnecessary apps, keeping screen brightness to a minimum. One thing i wont do is turn off data traffic on the phone, as i need the traffic to be constant. Still, the battery will last me some 5 to 6 hours on standby (with little or no talking). I had to buy separate chargers for my office and car in order to recharge my phone working during the day.Good buy at first, but i'll probably be changing the phone by next christmas.

I like the dimensions of this cell, but the very low capacity of his sistem make I dislike it. Canot install apps, or games or anything else cause it don't have enough space to store this things, so I need to use it on basics functions and apps....

I don't get the negative reviews on this site - they are not nearly as bad for other sellers. I wanted to counter the negative because I really love my SE X10 Mini. "It's Small" Well, of course it is. If you need a bigger screen, get a bigger phone. I guess I have good eyes. The text is tiny on the news readers, etc., but I don't have any problem with it. It syncs with my Kindle automatically, and I don't have any problem at all reading books on it. The resolution of the screen is not as good as an iPhone or the Samsung my dad owns; it would be nice to have better resolution, but it is good enough."The screen stays black when you are on the phone." It has a proximity sensor, but if you hold it away from your head and count to two, it turns on. Problem solved."The battery sucks." I don't know how they are using it, and maybe from this seller, they don't have the same battery (I don't know, maybe it is a counterfeit or something), but if I turn my on at 7am, it still works at 11:30p (barely, but it does). I am connected to Google Latitude, so it is sending out GPS coordinates every 5 minutes, which I have to think is taking extra juice - nonetheless, I make it for the whole day. And actually, during the week when I am in the office, I run Napster off the phone and have it plugged in and charging, so it is never a problem. BTW Napster streaming over my wireless network works great on this phone."The charger connector seems weak." I agree, that the connector cover is the worst part of the phone, not because I think it will break, but because after I cut my fingernails, I can't get it open for a week and have to use a x-acto knife or get my wife to do it."It's hard to text with T-9." This is all I have ever known, and I don't have a problem with it."No android market." What? Maybe that was a long time ago. Trust me, the market is one of the default icons, and everything runs on this phone. It gets "lot's of different apps" and "keeps me entertained for hours." BTW, get the flashlight app that turns the super-bright LED into a flashlight. It rocks. So does the Kindle software, the police scanner and the Places app.Again, I have to say that most of the problems the reviewers sited are because they hadn't learned how to use the phone yet. I have been using it for about three months and LOVE it. It is light and the Android 2.2 operating system works great. So there.

Guys avoid this mobile. It is really not that good mobile. Many bad things plus the camera is blurry. I gave one star because there is no less than 1 star.

This phone has great potential, I have to honestly admit that. I was expecting around the same potential when running it on only WiFi, but although it loads fast I dont enjoy the phone as much. It has wonderful features that syncs everything (facebook, twitter, etc) and updates automatically but this cant be used on only wifi. My unsureness of the phone could also be contributed to the small screen, although its really responsive, being a visual kind of person i often find myself wishing i would have opted for a different phone with a bigger screen. The dilemma would be that getting a big screened international phone would either mean a giant price tag, no keyboard or weaker software for a decent price. Although I debated on sending it back I opted to keep it. Its great while on the go because you can hold, control, and type on the keyboard using only one hand meanwhile the other is holding my hot tea and I'm speed walking across town. Unfortunately, this phone is by no means an efficient business phone, but a very well social one instead.The camera is great but I doesn't zoom for video or for regular pictures. bummer.

I was very disappointed when i did not see my pink case, it came with the white. Other than that i love my phone... I downloaded a qwerty keypad app and so i dont have to use the 3tap keyboard. This little phone is really one for the books. I love it and I've only had it for one day. Alot to learn but i'm so excited. All in all i would recommend this phone, its small but once your hands are small its pretty easy to navigate.

This is a great phone. I can install a lot of apps but too much will make the phone lag and do crappy stuff like any computer. I say get a lot of Gb space. I have it for a while now and it still works beautifully. if you have big hands, i recommend that you get the regular size version of this phone because it will be a pain to text or access applications.. or use the phone overall. you can always download a textpad for this phone instead of using its regular one. thats what i did.umm. the battery is not too great. i charge it every night. its not a problem to charge daily. the phone number buttons (the main function of the phone) is kinda a hassle to reach sometimes. oh, i find that the screen usually locks itself when i talk to someone and when i want to hang up, i have to UNLOCK IT and click on the "phone, calling button" to reach the main page of the phone to actually click disconnect button. i'm trying to make sense but I'm not sure if i sound all that correct.Music player works fine, pictures are perfect. quality is great. wifi works. i say this phone is really good. The image is GREAT. The look of this phone is adorable and people don't believe me when i say its phone. its so small, it looks like an mp3 player in a way. With this phone, you will always get comments and compliments. It's a looker alright.The touch is VERY responsive. its sensitive. i dont have to actually press hard on the touch screen at all. the back of the phone, you can change it to ANY color. its cool! keeps your phone fresh looking and new all the time. of course, you need to have different colors.i say, its meant to last! so get it!

So im going to be quick.Problems with the shipping? : no, i got it on time. Even tho i had to pay for the 2 days shipping thing because i was leaving the USA.Problems with the way i got it? : no, it was really nicely with all the box and everything BUT, i was EXTREMELY dissappointed with the fact that it says : white / pink and i ONLY got the white case :S and it was obviously on the phone...!No pink case ANYWHERE.Problems with the phone : well, yeah, everything everybody is saying: the battery dies super fast, i have to put it to charge daily.It gets hot when its charging. ...The texting thing is awful because its like the old phone kind of thing, u have to type the same box for abc and stuff like that, just like the old phones. but u get used to it, im used to it now.Somethin i didnt know : u cant get the battery out, so if it ever dies because of the battery its not like u could say, oh well, im going to buy another battery, no way. u cant remove that battery by urself.but i love it.

I have had this phone for 3 weeks now and it is already acting up. It freezes and restarts on its own. Right now, I can't even get past the opening screen.

This is pretty decent phone and considering I wanted a phone that is factory unlocked and works outside the US. My current phone is the iPhone 4 but is locked to ATT and I am not ready to pay enormous fees to ATT when I travel outside the US. I looked at many phones before settling on this one. Here are the reasons:1. Need a smaller phones, fits easily in any pocket.2. Good battery life (more on that later)3. Great features and capacitive touch screen (very important).Buyers beware that if you buy the international version of the X10 mini, the 3G frequency band is different and will not work with ATT on 3G. However, the phone will switch to the slower 2G (edge) speeds in the US. It may work with TMobile as one of the band is common. I did not test that.Now on to the interesting stuff. The X10 mini ships with the Android 2.1 and there are how-tos on the web that will let you upload a custom ROM specifically tailer for this phone! I am running Android 2.3.1 and gives me multi-touch and what not. The battery life is much much better. The original installed ROM is ancient. Sony Ericsson will not push a newer update so look around and google for the updated ROM. The process is a bit involved but well worth it.Fior less than $190 on amazon you cant go wrong with this cell phone. Touch screen, Android OS, Wifi, GPS, Camera..you name it, it has it.

The article says "Xperia X10 mini E10i", but the seller sent me a "Xperia X10 mini E10a". I was interested in having the "E10i" because some service provider in my country uses the 900 band, but the "E10a" isn't able to work in that band. After almost a week, I've received answer from the seller, but I'm from Venezuela, so I don't really think there is a way to exchange it.About the phone itself, I think it's pretty cool. I think the best is the small size, it's very practical!

wow! this fone is a little beauty. When i bought it i was sceptic about his function and i wanted to offer the cell to my brother in africa as a gift. couple days later he called me n told me how happy he was and he enjoy the item. communication is perfect and evrthg is working fine.

I bought this phone more than a year ago and works perfectly, I have many android apps. My favorite is Aldiko which allow me carry my books and looks great. I use it to do FB and Twitter as well as review my e-mail, the screen is a little small to actually navigate in internet but in this size you can{t have all. For those who are used to use predictive text to send SMS its OK but those who prefer a full keyboard this is not the phone, actually it is the only weakness of the X10 mini I did not get why does not have a full on screen touch keyboard. What really surprised me is the quality of the video which is great, the camera is also good.

I wont call this a phone, its a simply an amazing machine. very quite and has the power of all big phones. the only drawback of this phone is the battery requires charging everyday.
