Great product holding all my data and more! Its holding all my pics, music, work stuff, and etc. Glad I got more storage space when I needed it.

I purchased to backup and transfer files between my systems. This does not install properly on mw XP system. I can get it installed on my Windows 7 systems OK but it does not answer the needs I had for data transfer and backup.

I love this hard drive! It's a reasonably size for its storage capacity and reasonably priced. It does transfer big files quickly and has been able to work perfectly with my two computers different operating systems(one is windows vista another is windows xp}. I love the color of this hard drive and the feel of the drive is really nice too. It kind of has a satin finish to it and it doesn't leave fingerprints. I love its design overall but I'm not a big fan of the cord with the drive because if you somehow move the cord the wrong way the drive will disconnect from the computer really easily. That's my only dislike with this device. I wish the cord had a more secure hold but with that said I still love this hard drive.

I admit it. I initially got this because the purple looked amazingly awesome! Though, I did have a legitimate reason to get it (needed a new external for college use). Actual items doesn't exactly always look as sexy as it's company product photography so I was expecting a slight let down when I receive it. But I was glad to be wrong! It looked just as sexy and alluring as it does in the photo and it does an amazing job keeping my files and not corrupting (as I've learned the hard way with other EHD) for a 1 TB. It works perfectly with my iMac and Macbook Pro. It was nice to see it came with a free case though I kinda wish it could show off the HD better instead of hiding that satin, fingerprints-free, quiet, and fast External Portable Hard Drive! Definitely recommend and would get another from the same brand when I run out!

You can leave your backups on the cloud, or/and you can back 750GB to this small handy device and keep it safe yourself. I've had it about a month and it works well. I don't have USB 3.0, but this does work with 2.0, so I'm good. I would purchase this product again. Very well made.

I ordered this to backup my laptop. Initially, did this fine, even allowed me to copy the backup to my desktop computer. Then, lost power to device, discovered the USB 3 connector was bad - had to wiggle the cord to get connection. This device was never dropped or mishandled. After that, both computers say device malfunctioned and won't read/access it. I uninstalled and reinstalled, tried updating drivers, nothing works. Can't even get access to delete the files. Returning the device and will never buy from this company (silicon power) again. Had less than 24 hours!!! Thankfully, Amazon is great about things like this!

The drive is great, but the case has no place to put the USB 3.0 cable. As you can't use the drive without it, you would think the case would have a pocket for the cable. Other then that, everything is just great.
