- + Неплохая вещь, за разумные деньги, корпус не люфтит, тактильно приятные ощущения, пластик нормальный, имеется два цвета свечения на диоде красный и синий — в зависимости от USB 2.0 и USB 3.0, первый конект с компом и распознание драйверов ~ 2 мин, далее ~ 20 сек,
- - не 1Tb a 931Gb, хотя фаилы обнаруженные внутри занимают 2Mb
Брал с расчетом носителя информации? который возможно подключать к смартфону Lenovo K900 — устройства совместимы, питания вполне хватает, определяется как дополнительный флеш носитель.

4. пластик верхней крышки какой-то специальный, следы от пальцев не остаются - - 1. нет крепления для провода на чехле, боюсь потерять, потому что разъем какой-то непонятный, сложно будет такой найти

- - Через полгода сломался, сначала мой ноутбук его просто видел но не открывал, с компьютера получилось открыть и скопировать фотографии, после он даже не распозновался...

- + 1.юсб 3.0 а такой дешевый
2. не жужжит
3. проверил что работает на: windows XP, w-s 7, телевизор Sharp
4. скорость передачи зависит от файлов: 20-60мб/сек (usb 2.0)
5. usb 3.0 обратно совместим с 2.0, так что потом можно к чему-нибудь прикрепить с юсб 3.0
6. чехольчик хороший, качественный, покрывает весь диск, следовательно ничего не пачкается
7. кабель около 70 см, мне именно такой достался, хотя в магазине могут всунуть короткий
8. никаких ковыряний с драйверами (2 драйвера сами поставились) - - 1. на диске старое ПО, пришлось обновлять
2. никаких кнопок, поэтому управление только с устройства к которому он...

- + USB 3.0, цена. Можно подключиться по MicroUSB.
Почти не слышно, только легкая вибрация (в чехле). Так же скорость записи замечательная - 90мб/сек стабильно, прыгает до 120. Стартует с 220 - - На чехле нет крепления для кабеля. Хотя бы сделали резинку для фиксации.

2)При подключении к usb 2.0 мы получаем по скорости передачи данных обычный рядовой хард. (на чудеса не надейтесь)
3) вход для штекера на харде чуть чуть шатается, возможно через некоторое время придёт в негодность (время покажет)
Вообщем выбирал себе хард по следующим критериям:
1) дизайн
2) не меньше 500гб
3) подключение по usb
чуть было не взял вот этот

Функционал:Шустрый, не греется, тихий. Достаточно быстро определяется. В общем, без претензий. Изначально файловая система FAT32, конвертация в NFTS штатными средствами заняла чуть больше часа.Корпус и внешний вид:Не очень качественный пластик, черная дизайн-вставка почти сразу стала отлетать, хотя диск перемещался только дома с полки на полку. Следов пальцев на покрытии действительно почти не остается, однако это не очень актуално - в комплекте чехол и до диска все равно не дотрагиваешься.

- + Отличный диск, использую с Xbox One в качестве дополнительного хранилища. Все игры запускаются без торможений и подвисаний. Довольно неплохая скорость записи, диск определяется автоматически при подключении к Xbox (не нужно устанавливать драйверы или подключать внешнее питание)
- - Комплектный кабель создает помехи - он очень короткий и диск пришлось разместить рядом с Xbox, а т.к. стандарт передачи Usb 3.0 он создавал помехи сети Wifi - при скачивании игр сеть на роутере отваливалпсь каждые 5 минут. Пришлось заменить кабель на новый и проблема ушла.

Быстро определяется компом, не тупит. Установка дополнительного ПО не требуется. В комплекте симпатичный чехол, да и сам жесткий внешне отлично выглядит. Еще один плюс - не остаются следы от пальцев на корпусе.Номинальная емкость у него 698 ГБ вместо заявленных 750, что неприятно удивило.В целом замечательная вещь!

У меня, конечно, самый что ни на есть женский подход к выбору гаджетов: в первую очередь понравилась форма и цвет. Заказала и, знаете, нисколько не пожалела. Работает машинка довольно быстро и без глюков, действительно очень приятная на вид, небольшая, плоская, к тому же к ней прилагается очень удобный мягкий чехол. Я довольна. :-)

I got this for my girlfriend to use on her macbook air.I loaded it up with some media and the transfer rate was great on my USB2 computer (better on her USB3 ports).Its only been a few weeks, but I'll be sure to update if it ever fails.The color is amazing and it feels durable. The little case is great since she will keep it in a bag and it will protect it a bit, but there is no spot to hook the USB cable to the case. The cable seems to be some propitiatory bit on the drive side and not micro USB or anything like that. This might make fining a replacement cable hard.The little "V" symbol on the front is not what lights up. There was a small indicator light on it, but I do not remember where, I just remember being disappointed it wasn't the whole "V"It seems to use a bit more power than travel drives usually do and disconnects while streaming media off of it even when her laptop is plugged in. It worked well on my powered USB dock though. For transferring files it would be great, but streaming media to a laptop leaves something to be desired.Pros:-Looks-Durability-USB 3Cons:-Proprietary cable (I think)-Short cable-No spot on the case to store the cable-The "V" on the front is not the light it looks like it should be)-Disconnects while streaming media to a laptop due to power reasons (may be settings on her laptop, but I haven't got to look yet)Overall I think this drive is durable and unique looking, which were the main reasons I picked it, so I'm pleased. The cable is annoying and I'm worried she will lose it, but we will see if replacements are available. If you think a non-technical person would benefit from an external hard drive, this makes it seem like a much 'cooler' gift than a black rectangle one.

I could not get this hard drive to work. It was a birthday present from my husband, he even paid more for a Saturday delivery so it would be here for my birthday. We ended up returning this and I bought a different brand from Wal-Mart because he didn't want to re-order and wait for shipping so close to a holiday. We tried everything, from internet searches, calling his computer tech father, calling the manufacture whose number was disconnected and the other numbers we either international or went to an answering machine, to even replacing the USB cord. My computer is a newer computer so that wasn't the issue. My issues with it may just be a defective device and all of the others may work great. It does have a very sharp look to it. It is exactly the way it looks in the picture. The reason I am giving it a 2 instead of one is because of the design. The reason it is getting such a low rating when there is a chance that it may just be a defective is because of the lack of customer service help from the manufacture. There is no trouble shooting guide, no instructions and no way to contact the manufacture. For example, I have a Toshiba TV and Toshiba computers and will stick with them because their product are excellent and their costumer service goes above and beyond. If the product was defective but the costumer service was good I would replace the this item and give it another shot before reviewing. However this is not the case. There was no help and no information to determine what the issue is.

I have an older computer with Windows XP but with Service Pack 3 installed. I also have a Toshiba Netbook with Windows XP SP3. I wasn't sure if my computers could handle a terabyte portable hard drive or that my netbook would be powerful enough to handle a portable drive that only connected to one USB port. I have an older portable drive, but it requires being plugged in to two USB ports to run on my laptop. This one runs well on both using only one of my USB ports.I don't have a USB 3 port, so transfer is a little slower. I get it started and go do something else until it is done. It still only takes minutes, not hours to transfer the amount of data I am doingI got this drive so I could convert all my books on CD to digital and listen to them on my iPod when I walk. The plus is that it is purple. It also comes with a case. The cord does not attach to the unit or the case for transport, but that is not an issue for me although is was for other users.I like it so well that I am getting a second one to back up our desktops, laptops and photos of our home for insurance purposes. Then I can keep all the information in our safety deposit box in case of a fire or natural disaster. It is 3 1/4" wide x 5 1/5" long x 1/2" high and should easily fit in the box.
