Великолепно
Hard drive works great. Noticed significant improvement in data retrieval. Highly recommended. Was able to install myself even though professional installation is recommended.

I bought these to replace the 30GB IDE drives in 3 Dell D600's. I ghosted the drives and was up an running. These drives are quiet, and Using ADIA32 they are running at 108 Degrees F.I would recommend them to anyone with a laptop.

I really needed a hard drive upgrade for my laptop. It is very easy and fast to install, once you know what are you doing. So for that reason I search some videos in youtube on "How to install". After 15 minutes (watching the video included), the new hard was installed on my laptop. Now I am really happy because the drive it's very quiet and fast.

The drive works as expected - there were no surprises on installation other than the BIOS on the circa 2002 Dell Inspiron 4150 laptop doesn't seem to see the full capacity. No problems though - Win XP sees it all.This is a 5400rpm drive so it's not going to be as zippy as a 7200rpm, but given the age of the laptop and the possible current draw and heat generation from a 7200rpm drive I decided to be conservative with a 5400rpm drive - still the increased areal density and cache compared to the old drive makes this drive a little snappier than the old drive.What is really important though is how reliable it is - if it's still going in 3-5 years I would be happy to give it a 5 star rating.

Very good product, packaging was not wasteful, installation was easy, software was intuitive and easy to use. I have an older laptop that does not support this size of hard drive but, Disk Wizard (software included) installed a Dynamic Drive Overlay (DDO) and made everything a breeze.

Bought this 2.5" PATA drive to replace the 40GB HDD in my daughters Dell D610 laptop. Put an image of her drive on this one and is was up and running. No problems to report after 1 months service.

The first drive was significantly noisy. A replacement is better but you can still (barely) hear it, as if there is sand in the bearings. Compared to the all the drives for the laptops that I have, this drive noisier. Some people have rated it as whisper quiet. No such luck here. Otherwise the drive has been fine. It is faster than the stock 4200 RPM drive. I have had it only for about three months.

The PS3 comes with a 60 GB Segate Momentus hard drive. I bought this 160 GB Segate Momentus thinking it would be an easy internal upgrade for the PS3.I was wrong and should have paid more attention. This is not a SATA. It is an Ultra ATA which means it has different connectors.My money is not wasted, though. When put into an enclosure, it makes an excellent external hard drive and the price is right. I now have a backup external hard drive for my music and picture files on my PC.Just don't expect to use this as an internal hard drive for your PS3.

So far it has been a solid drive. It replaced an Hitachi 80GB that was rapidly being devoured by Vista, Office 2007, Access 2007, and 2 versions of Visual Studio, 2005 and "Orcas", plus all the other tools used by a low level software developer.Installation was simple, given the ease of a Dell laptop with easy access to the hard drive. Only issue was re-activiating Vista on the new drive, but that did not even require a phone call.

I just spent part of the day changing my standard Apple 80Gb hard drive to the Seagate Momentus 5400.3 160Gb hard drive. I wish I could give you directions on how to crack open your Powerbook G4 but I did the guy-thing and figured it out on my own. I can tell you, however, that it was not difficult to do. Before I started, I inserted my Tiger (OS 10.4) DVD and then shut it down. You need to take the battery out and place your Powerbook on a towel. You alsp need to make sure you have all the right tools and be very careful. I took my old 80Gb out and placed it in a Firewire/USB 2 enclosure made by MacAlly (model PHR-250CC). This was very easy to do. I installed the new Seagate and put everything back together. I started up holding down the "C" key and it fired up running off the DVD. I installed Tiger on the new hard drive and when finished, chose the option to move my files from my "old computer," which was now my old hard drive in the new Firewire enclosure. Everything transferred over without a hitch. This is exactly why we love our Macs! Try doing that in Windoze. I have now been running with the new Seagate for 3 hours. I immediately noticed a jump in speed. Although my old drive was also 5400rpm, the new Seagate is quite noticeably faster. And, most amazingly, it is tremendously cooler than the old hard drive. The old hard drive ran so hot it was uncomfortable to hold on your lap. The new Seagate runs so much cooler that it feels only slightly warmer than room temperature. No kidding. That feature alone is worth the price and the work. I would not hesitate to purchase this Seagate. It's something I should have done a long time ago.

This drive was ordered as a replacement to attempt to salvage a Powerbook G4 Laptop. Dropped right in, works like a champ. highly recommended.
