Charger all fake and not charging. Don’t purchase from this supplier

The watch was original but the charger provided is duplicate and socket and wire all duplicate. It’s not charging properly. Not worth for the money

There is no way this was actually inspected.

Came with 0% charge, will not charge on the charger just gets super hot and displays an error on the watch face. I left it on the charge and walked my dog for 30 minutes and could barely pick it up it was so hot. There is no way this was actually inspected. You cant run diagnostics on a device with 0 battery.

Love this watch! Quality & look is great!

FYI, I added a bezel ring & do not have pictures before. It has the black ring underneath. I am an old Citizen Chronograph watch guy. I stopped wearing a watch 5 years ago. All this time I missed wearing a watch, but it only gave me the time. I debated wearing a watch again. After having it for 6 days, I love it. The options, quality & experience has been great! I talked to several people through the watch attached to my Galaxy S20 Utltra. When I switch from the watch to speaker phone on the Ultra, my sister could not tell the difference! Very easy & intuitive to use & operate. My only gripe is Bixby ... when you say "Hey Bixby", It should come up a little faster. If I use it heavy all day long, it will end up at 25% battery. Me with heavy use may not be as heavy as others ;- )
I definitely recommend a Bezel Ring for extra protection. It puts the glass farther away from destruction & is not too thick!

Update, just got the Citizen Navihawk out after 5 years to compare. Wow, I really like the Galaxy Watch even better now!

Check your carrier for LTE calling

Bought this before double triple verifying with my (incompetent) carrier Sprint that this model will work by itself for calling/texting. This LTE version is not on Sprint yet, the Galaxy Active 2 does work. But I chose this Galaxy Watch 42mm which I like but (for now) it only works with your phone nearby on bluetooth or Wifi. The agents were super confused and frustrating until one finally said this model isn't programmed yet. They signed me up for extra 15 per month before knowing this was not a working model! Trying to hold out for their LTE update or just return it.

Love this watch!!!!

So as many of you, I research the heck out of a product that I am going to drop some cash on. In doing so there are many choices out there for a watch such as this one. I found that there are some that don't offer great options. I think that there are some that work well if you like the IOS side of things. I understand that this watch works well with an IOS phone but don't know that for sure. All that said, this is a great watch. You can feel the quality when you hold it, work with it, and wear it on your arm.

Before I begin sharing, I have to say that I love this watch! It is a very nice watch, doesn't seem like Samsung scrimped on quality with this one. Would I buy it again? You bet I would! Well worth the money. I own 14 watches and since purchasing this one, I have not worn any of the others.

It has met all my expectations. I wish it came in a black finish but that is minor. Things I like about it... I like the fact that if I have to I can answer texts and phone calls on it. My emails are quick and easy to read. You do have to have your phone near by if you don't get the LTE version. Not a big deal really, I usually have my phone near by anyway. For texting, you have a few options but the easiest for me is the voice to text method. Seems to work very well.

Phone calls see to work well too. People I am talking to can't tell that I am talking to my watch. It does a good job filtering out background noise during a phone call. I have answered calls in a noisy room with kids and adults talking over a TV and my wife couldn't tell anyone was around me.

Battery life is great. I have had the watch now for a few weeks and it has never gone dead. I usually throw it on the charger to top it off when I shower. I know, it is water proof but in my mind, I don't need to take it in the shower.

I don't mind the watch band it comes with and use it when I go to the gym but I have purchased another nicer band and will probably get a couple more. I love watches and changing the band isn't that hard. I also like that there are some ways you can customize it to match your tastes. I had never thought of that before with a watch other than changing a band. I love the hundreds of different faces you can get. Many of them are free. It's hard to decide sometimes which one you would like to choose from.

I was a little concerned about the thickness of the watch. Pictures on line made it look really thick but it's not bad. I have the 46mm and it doesn't look too big on my arm. Seems to be the perfect weight on my arm as well.

Some people say that they have replaced their cell phone for their watch. I use my cell phone for much more than I could on my watch. I am not sure how you would do that but I guess if you don't use your phone for almost everything, then you could do that. It is nice that I can for the most part leave my phone in my pocket though.

Bixby, Hummm. Not Samsung's greatest move. I wish I could remove it from my phone and my watch. What a waste of space and effort. For me the Google Assistant would have been a better option. At least it would have been better to have given you an option as to what assistant you wanted to install or use. Bixby is a pain and wish Samsung would give up on it.

All in all, it is a great watch. I love it and am very happy with my purchase. If you are debating on getting it or saying that you will wait on a different one to come out? Well I guess it's up to you. I would suggest this one over the others I have looked at. I feel it's a great quality watch that does a great job doing what it's supposed to do. I am thinking about getting the 42mm in Rose Gold for my wife. She has a Fit Bit in a small version. I think she would love the functionality of the Samsung Galaxy 42mm.

Love it!

It’s only my second day with the Google Galaxy Smartwatch and it’s even better than I expected. I prefer to have a watch that shows the time, all the time, so when I need the information it is there at a glance. Arms full, doing three of other things, and you can still tell the time without slowing down; that’s a watch. I wanted the ability to add quick text messages (ex: “I’m running late”) and alerts to this old school functionality. I liked the opportunity to change faces that an electronic watch offers. This product met all of those needs and was all I was expecting.

The first pleasant surprise was the battery life. Using as I described, watch face always on & accepting emails + texts, for over 24 hours used about 25% of the battery life. The second pleasant surprise was the variety of watch faces. I’m not young and my tastes tend toward classic rather than momentary trends. The faces accompanying this watch accommodate both my fashion forward brother and stogy people like me. The third pleasant surprise was the variety of watchbands available. Between faces available through Samsung’s software and aftermarket watch bands, a single watch can be your work-out watch, your work watch, your job-interview watch, and your date-night watch.

And this is only Day 2! As I explore the software I’ve been learning about options I never imagines and how these capabilities might help streamline workflow in both my personal and professional life. If you are shopping for a non-Apple smartwatch and you are using an Android smartphone, THIS is the watch you want.

Buyer beware

It looks really nice but this watch has a few issues. It is designed to be an independent device. When you pair it with your phone it takes over all functions. You cant go into the settings and turn anything off. It does not make notifications either. Customer care couldnt even get it to work. I was told by an agent they have had to trouble shoot this watch many times. It was recommended that I contact my carrier and either have a number assigned to the watch or see if they can sync the number. Buyer beware. It looks great but its chaos you shouldnt have to deal with for the price. I figured out after I said this that I could use it without pairing it with a phone and it is a very accurate device for health monitoring. I wore it for about a week and all of a sudden I was driving along and my wrist got warm enough that I noticed. When I touched the screen to power it off the screen went green and nothing worked. They wanted me to send it i for repair but this is an issue with Samsung products sometimes. I sent it back. Doing a little research I found this green screen is a common issue with this particular watch. If you do buy one I recommend charging it when you can keep an eye on it. And if you get the green screen all other reviews say it happens more than once.

Nice Galaxy 46MM watch

I retired my Galaxy Gear S2 classic to this watch. This watch does a much better job respect to accuracy for heart beat and calories burned. I get around 3 days of use before needing a charge. I do not keep the face illuminated or I'm sure that the battery would deplete much faster. I like that I can make and receive phone calls through it. One problem that I've encountered several times is during my waking, jogging, and running. When I use it for these workouts the heart monitor for some unknown reasons stops working. To get it functional, I have to navigate to the heart measurement app and run it. This gets the workout app heart monitor going again. This problem is not associated to the watch being to close to the wrist bone. The sleep monitor magically works well and seems pretty accurate. However, the size of the watch is not the most comfortable to wear during sleep. I found that if I put the watch so it is under my wrist makes for better comfort. The altimeter is moderately accurate but is off by around <>30 feet in elevation. The watch is attractive, and durable. I've had it in submerged in water for short times without problem.

I can't live without it but it's very flawed.

It's been over a year since I bought this watch and I wear it everyday only taking it off to charge and shower. Now I have a google phone so I have to download and app and plugins to make it work with my phone so maybe that's why it seems to always have issues.

The first issue is that it disconnects, not often but enough where it is very noticeable, then it tends to disconnect and reconnect repeatedly within a short time. The menu with the app is very unintuitive and it makes it difficult to find and download new watch faces. The watch itself is very sturdy and tough as nails, I absolutely abuse this watch with how clumsy I am and besides some cosmetic scratches it is still intact, this was true of the previous model as well.

My biggest and most frustrating problem is that shortly after purchasing maybe within a 2 months the vibration feature began to act up. Without moving an setting it would just suddenly stop vibrating, when you go to settings to see if it turned off it would be on but just wouldn't vibrate. The only solution would be to go to the vibrating settings and literally give the watch a hard smack with your hands. I've been doing this routinely everyday when I notice the vibration feature stopped working and it has never failed to restart the vibration feature. I love this watch, I love the style, the ruggedness, the size, but it has so many issues that it's very difficult to recommend to anyone.

Nice features, but buttons stopped working

Really wanted to like this watch, but

Pros: I used primarily as a smartwatch, and it did that very well. Looks awesome. Easy connection to phone and receives texts/emails, and to talk through it as a phone, good battery life for what it does, great high resolution screen with good daylight visibility, HR monitor is accurate. Tons of apps, health tracking features and exercise tracking that I never really got to use, but I have had other Samsung watches that did this well, so I would assume this watch would work as well.

Cons: Heavy. Truly not a great sport watch because it is heavy, IMO. It felt awkward to wear when working out and sleeping.

Biggest issue, for which I am returning, after 2 weeks of normal use, the 'return/back' button on the side lost its tactile 'click' feel. The button still functioned internally, but there was no sensation of actually pushing a button. It feels like it is 'gummed up'. But, the watch was never submerged in water or got dirty. I wore it to work during the day, and took it off to exercise and sleep. I am disappointed that it only took two weeks for it to 'break'.

Я купила сменный браслет из серебра, потому что на фотографии он выглядит как "грязно-белый", или белый, но не чисто белый. К сожалению, я получил что-то, что изначально не было белым. Либо я получил неправильный продукт, цвет которого здесь не соответствует ни одному другому цвету, либо продукт действительно плохой. Жаль :(

Great watch and very stylish

love this smart watch, lots of cool features, there are so many things that this can do but I have yet to explore all of them. Love that I can use it as a phone even if I don't have my phone with me. It keeps track of al my steps and you can see where you rank with people in your own age group. it gives you daily briefings on what you select to see, it has the weather app, on it so you can check out the week. It has reminders like to pay your bills, calendar is great to have at your finger tips. Love the fact that you can change the watch face from sporty , casual and even for something more dressy

The only thing I dislike is that I get random texts from some weird third party and even if you send STOP you still receive them

More than a year later, still going without charging for days!

I love my Samsung Galaxy Watch! When I was looking for smart watches, I was tempted to buy the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active which was just launched back then. However, that one didn't had all the features that makes this one a great smartwatch. I love being able to pick up a call and talk through the watch, people hear me perfectly and I hear them very well. In addition, when I'm home I connect to WiFi rather than bluetooth, it gives me a greater range and watch does not disconnect when I leave the phone in another room.

Pros:
-Amazing battery time, can last over a week depending on use. (For example, only connecting BT when not home).
-Tracks my stress levels several times a day, it is accurate. Has a relaxation feature with breathing exercises. LOVE IT.
-Tracks my BPM, accurate but you need to stay still.
-Samsung Health is a good app. I track my bike rides and it syncs with the phone app without any issues. I have yet to use Strava.
-Alarms! But also, alarms set on the phone only will also go off on the watch. So no need to have alarms set on watch and phone. BT or WiFi needs to be connected for this.
-SmartThings: can control my Samsung Smart TV from my watch (WiFi connected)
-Can control Spotify
-Find my phone and find my watch functions.

Basic functions:
-Step counter, not incredible accurate but then again I haven't tried any other device for this.
-Calories burned during exercise.
-Actual watch, wide range of faces to choose from. Analog, digital, combined, there is a watch face for every taste.

Things I have not tried:
-Sleep tracking. I mean, the watch is comfortable and all, but I cannot sleep with any accessory on.

Some cons, not a big deal for me:
-GPS seems to be a little unrealiable.
-Sometimes when measuring BPM or stress (which is measure based on BPM) the watch would give an error and ask you to clean the sensor.
-That same sensor, will go off when you are not wearing the watch, presumably for the automatic BPM and stress measures, but it should have a way to tell you are not wearing it and not try again and again.

But the cons are not a deal breaker for me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or not using it as I should. Anyway, completely recommend this smartwatch even after there is a newer version out there. I don't think the newer ones have this amazing battery life and versatility this one has.
