Ужасно

After hearing the buzz and seeing the leaks on these over the last few months, I was anxiously awaiting their release.

Now, with them in hand (or ears, rather), I have some serious concerns.

I wanted these for the use of listening to music and equally, if not more importantly, for hands free phone calls.

For the record: I have paired these with my Samsung S8 phones. I have alternated between two S8's and have found identical results

Being a 100% Android and anti-Apple consumer, I can honestly say that Apple got it right with the AirPods. Not only for sound but for call transmitting and receiving audio quality. The Galaxy Buds Live may not be up to the same level in the call quality department.

Call Quality: From my first call, the audio I heard from the caller sounded quite good. Then the audio I was hearing began to sound a bit distorted and I kept experiencing a lot of digital noise. What I found is, if I put my phone in my pocket, or I'm holding my phone and I put my hand down by my side, it almost seems like I lose connection or there is interference. As if the signal is poor. But, if I'm holding the phone upright, or almost right near my face, the sound seems fine. Shouldn't be like this. On the plus side, in comparison with my Bose headphones, multiple callers said these sounded equally as good on their end.

Unfortunately, I have to rate the call quality as Very Bad at this point. After being sent a second pair, same exact issue.
I am curious if this is some form of a software incompatibility issue with the Samsung Galaxy S8. Because the call quality is so poor, and I intended on using these heavily for calls, these are now likely to be returned.

The Fit: Very interesting but nice. They're light, comfortable and once you trust that they won't fall out, you really feel like they're not even there.

Music/Audio: Sounds great. I'm not a $1000 headphone audiophile. It needs to sound clear with your highs and mids defined and just good in general. Sound quality is very good. Here's the catch was that though. I started noticing the same signal issue that I was noticing with the call quality. While I was watching/listening to a YouTube video and I put the phone in my pocket or I walked away from the phone, mind you only a couple feet away, it seems like there's interference or the reception is bad. It cuts out constantly. Again, this shouldn't be happening.

Active Noise Canceling: I'd have to say that my Bose QC35ii's are my benchmark for ANC. That bar is pretty high. The Galaxy Buds Live disappointingly offer little in terms of ANC technology. If you're looking for the same level if ANC that you get from a good pair of over the ear or in ear silicone tip ear buds, this will not measure up.

I experimented with this. While sitting indoors, in a relatively quiet setting, you almost feel like you notice the ANC effectiveness. Walking down the street with moderate car/traffic noise, I noticed absolutely no ANC effect. Merely an automatic battery drain at best.

Wearable App: Good. It would be nice to have a more dynamic equalizer option rather than the "canned" sound profiles.

Overheating: I've yet to actually find information on this in the manual, but I believe that they have an overheating prevention feature where the individual earbud will begin beeping continuously in your ear. The audio playing, in my case a podcast, doesn't stop but a continuous beep begins. Not being able to figure out why, my best guess is that this is an overheating warning. I had been sitting outside and my left side was facing the sun. It was not excessively hot out and the actual left earbud did not feel warm or get warm in my ear. However, it repeatedly kept beeping.

General Performance:
- In the home office and around the house: Not bad. I enjoy the lightweight design. As long as my phone is in front of me and not in a pocket, audio and call reception and quality are good.
- On the elliptical: Nice. Comfortable and stay in place. Slight movement as you build a bit of a sweat.
- Outside for a walk: ANC is non-existent. I also notice wind noise if it's a little breezy. By breezy, I mean a very light and intermittent wind. Not a hurricane.
- On a bicycle ride: Crazy wind noise. Very off-putting, unfortunately.
- Online Microsoft Teams Meeting (Android App on S8): I was told that I sounded distant and the audio was thin. As soon as I disconnected and called the person directly, they said I sounded great.

Summary: Very disappointed at this point. This is primarily due to the reception issues. The price point is great for what I had expected. However, for what they are, I'd just as soon spend much, much less for a set of wireless headphones since making calls with these simply doesn't seem to be a good feature, out of the gate.

After running through all of the same with two separate sets of GBL's, using two different S8's, I've gotten identical results. I'm hoping that perhaps this may just be an S8 compatibility issue, as indicated earlier. I would enjoy editing this review to be nothing short of incredible, in the future.

Because they are so new, Samsung telephone support couldn't be all that helpful. With these being, literally, on the market for only a couple of days, there wasn't a whole lot of trouble shooting assistance available.

At this point, I've gone through two sets of these and have not seen a difference between the two. I'm torn whether or not I should return them. I so badly want them to work out. But, I'm finding that they're just not measuring up.

I wasn’t planning on leaving a review on these earbuds but I’ve seen all the negative reviews that this product has got. One main complain that I’ve seen is that the call quality is bad. I am here to say that the call quality is on par with AirPods (one of the best earbuds out there for call quality). Don’t let these negative reviews tell you otherwise because these are great. Another complaint that these have gotten are problems with the sound quality. The sound quality is better than the past iterations of the galaxy buds. These have better bass, lows are great, and vocals are nice and clear. You can also choose between different preset equalizers directly from the app. Overall, these are a great pair of earbuds for the $170 asking price. Apple charges $250 for basically the same thing except that the AirPods Pro sound like garbage. I definitely would recommend the galaxy buds live to anyone on the market for new truly wireless earbuds

Comfort is the one and only thing I was focusing on when choosing these buds as I really do not like buds that go into the ear canal.
These pretty much work as advertised and are quite comfortable. They are surprisingly small and convenient to take with me. The magnetic placement of the buds within the case is quite nice with decent strength so that they don't fall out when the case is opened and flipped upside down.

There are things to definitely consider when purchasing these.
- I have doubts that these will fit everyone well. Personally it is an absolute great fit for me and I have no concerns about these falling out or being uncomfortable for long periods.
- The sound does get better if the buds are pushed further into the ear which can compromise the quality of the microphone audio as they may get covered up when pushed in and may cause discomfort.
- The active noise cancelling (ANC) function is not going to be on par with what people may generally expect. The ANC is suited to function for the open ear design of these buds. I don't care too much about noise cancelling so this did not affect me.
- The touch controls and the pairing are a bit odd. Pairing these with my mobile and computer took some further understanding and trial and error. Once it is paired though whether for mobile or computer it works well consistently. The touch controls work as advertised, but its not always responsive and may require an additional attempt to trigger the touch controls (it very often is only one additional attempt). Touch controls are definitely awkward as whenever these buds may need adjusting whilst in ear the touch controls are probably going to trigger frequently.
- Volume over 40% is probably going to noticeably leak audio nearby when in low volume environments.
- Getting the microphone to work may require further understanding and tweaking such as with a computer I found that I had to do some trial and error with disabling and enabling my own audio devices as well as the buds to eventually have the buds microphone function on my computer.
- The containment of the buds within the case is likely going to require more gentle care when taking out and placing back the buds unlike other wireless buds that seem to be far more carefree.

Overall I feel quite good about this product to give it a rating of 5 stars despite some concerns.

I ordered two pairs of the Galaxy Buds Plus and returned both, because they were not loud enough and the sound was ok. I ordered these as soon as they were available to see if Samsung made any adjustments. BINGO! The sound is great, they get loud enough and are very comfortable (my ears medium/small). Great Job Samsung! These are my new number ones! Do yourself a favor and try them out. Enjoy!

Samsung did a great job with these. The fit is a little different to get used to at first but after about 15 minutes you forget they're in your ears. So light. And the sound is amazing. Nice balanced highs and miss with a nice bass kick to go with it all. Coming from the original Galaxy Buds to these I recommend.

P.s. they're so comfortable laying down watching videos as well.

First impressions: impressive sound stage in line with early reviews.

Comfortable for long-term wear.

Black is kind of a silver black which is neat. Not just flat black.

I actually like the fact that the noise cancellation focusses on low-frequency background noise so you can still hear general activity around you. Do not try to compare this ANC with Bose or Sony. They do not try to achieve the same goal.

One downside which I think is very sloppy is that these do not support multipoint. Rather disappointing especially given the environment we're living and working in right now.

What I do really like is the size of the (wirelessn charging) case. Dang it's small! Easy to throw in a pocket. Nice job there.

I never write reviews but I sure do read a ton of them before buying a product. I've owned dozens of earbuds, neckbands, etc... and the Galaxy Buds Live beat them all. For comparison, I have the Buds Plus, Jabra 75t active and my personal favorite, the Spigen Legato neckband. The Buds live are my new favorites! The sound is amazing, noise cancelling works as advertised and, at least for me, I don't miss the in-ear tips. I get ear infections from time to time and I'm convinced it's because of the eartips for the aforementioned earbuds. I would clean the tips and my ears daily but would still get ear infections. On a side note, I like how discreet they are, I have the mystic black which is paired to my Galaxy Fold, they fit perfectly in my ears. Lastly, I had three conference calls already and the call quality is awesome. These buds stayed in my ears for over four hours straight with no discomfort whatsoever. Bottom line, these might not be for everyone but they're a technical godsend for me. Hope this review helps you in your decision process. God bless and stay safe out there!!

I have been very excited for months on this new take on earbuds. The Galaxy Buds have been my favorite true wireless pair by a mile, nothing comes close to them. With that being said, these are quite simply just.....not good?

The fit is initially jarring, but even after working to find the "correct" position and looking at videos, the amount of audio bleed at high volumes is pretty noticeable by someone close to you. The sound is also a little hollow because of the lack of seal.

Touch controls also happen to be harder to use, which is a shame since, in my opinion, the Galaxy Buds had almost perfect touch sensitivity. Basically, this back tracks on almost everything the Buds and Buds Plus got right.

With that being said, these could be useful for those who absolutely cannot have or cannot tolerate the in ear style. For that segment I'm sure these will be very welcome, but I do not see them replacing any top level wireless earbuds any time soon, including their cheaper siblings.

The fit is critical to your experience with these.

Before I start, these do not seal in your ear. You cannot directly compare them to any earbuds that do (AirPods Pro). These have an open aspect to them that lets some sound in from the outside. That's by design and it does reduce the overall sound quality a bit. That's the trade-off.

The first thing you want to catch because the fit is so important: There are additional wingtips in the box. Easy to overlook. Large ones. So you get large and small. Changed the fit for me. I have never thought of my ears as large but the larger rubber rings fit better. See photo. Find them in the box with the cable. Nice little Samsung video about using them on YouTube. There is a left and right one, not the same.

The best part is the open design, you can even talk to someone with them on if the volume isn't too high (this is the best feature). They will never reach the quality of earbuds that seal in your ear. Don't buy for noise canceling, it's minimal. Overall, sound is very good, not great.

At first, when I tried them, I thought they were terrible. No bass. Tinny. Awful. Tried equalizer and all sorts of things. Moving them. Terrible. I literally packed them back up in the box to return then went to bed.

In the morning, I tried again. Tried again, repositioning them. I discovered in certain positions - getting the speaker in the right spot - they sound a LOT better. However, my "ear layout" doesn't seem to be compatible. If I just pop them in, they sound like I am listening through a tin can. If I wiggle the left and twist the right one around into a weird position with the battery contacts almost exposed, it gets close to the sweet spot.

Once I found and changed the rubber rings, the fit got a lot better.

You can control the volume! If you go into the touch control settings, you can customize things a bit and opt for volume up and volume down. You have to give up the assistant though. To me, volume is much handier. It's just rough volume control in steps but it's something!

If they don't sound right, they probably aren't in your ear right (or the way Samsung intended). I think they are a very good product but not amazing.

My pictures are mainly to show you those wingtips that go around the charging contacts.

THE TIP - Maybe this won't be an issue for you. Bugged me. I would grab the case and be rotating it around in one hand to find the place to open it. it's completely symmetrical and smooth. I'd sometimes try to open the side, occasionally the back. I tried feeling for the USB port then opening the opposite side. It sort of worked but not easy to feel. I ended up putting two layers of electrical tape on the side that opens. Now, I can quickly feel where to open it. I know, not pretty. I prefer function. Photo shows my handy work. Just tape.

I have the Buds Plus and they are pretty awesome for calling people (which is what I use them for the most) and decent for most music. I found the ambient sound feature useful at times. Since they had no noise cancellation and the music quality COULD be better on the Buds Plus, I decided to check out the BEANS. (Henceforth they shall be referred to as the Beans because I really think Samsung missed out on a great marketing opportunity by not calling them Galaxy Beans) Okay first off, I love the fact that the Beans don't go all the way down in your ear like the Buds Plus. These feel really good in my ears. The touch controls work well. I have used Google Assistant to send texts and although it has misunderstood some that may be my fault. As I play with this more I will update my review.

First impression with the Beans in my ears. Wow these are cool! They're very comfortable in my ears. Non-invasive and won't collect earwax like my buds. They are much louder than Buds Plus which I had my initial doubts about.

ANC is hopefully going to improve. They did create a noticable change in some of the frequencies which my AC hums at, but it wasn't enough for me to think sacrificing battery life would be worth using it.

You can either control volume up and down or ANC and your Assisstant. You cannot choose Volume on one side and assistant on the other. I personally would like to see the ambient noise feature the Buds Plus have return with volume control on it versus ANC. At least that function was useful. ANC seems like a gimmick. I would just as soon play music and tone out anything making noise requiring ANC.
After a little more field testing I've determined these Buds do not close your ear canal thus Ambient Sound wouldn't do much. You can already hear what's going on without using additional battery on a feature like Ambient sound.

Phone calls: I have now tested phone calls a bit and everyone so far has said they sound clear and they can understand me well. When I've told them I was on Bluetooth they're pleasantly surprised! Go Beans!

Other thoughts: They look really cool. I got the Black ones. They're metallic looking. Very stylish. Dig the small case as well. USB C charging is a must and wireless charging is great as well! I'll update with more info I literally got them on 8/8/20.

Плохо

These headphones are good, as long as you understand what you are getting. Make sure to wear them properly (Samsung has a video guide on YouTube and also a visual guide in the manual). The reasoning for is so a proper seal obtained so the ANC microphone is not covered and thus can work properly. Even so, understand the ANC is tuned for low frequencies so it works great while still allowing you to hear voices around you.

I hope Samsung adds an experimental feature to block more higher frequency sounds and also allow a multi band EQ in the app instead of the canned ones.

From an audio perspective, these things follow the Harmon target very closely. I'm a sucker for the Harman curve so these sound very balanced to me.

Where these headphones fall short is resolution. This is commonly experienced during sibilance, such as "S" sounds or cymbals. These types of sounds get smeared into static noise. This might be partly because of the lack of higher bitrate codec support unless you are using a Samsung phone. I use a different Android phone so the best codec I have access to is AAC. At this price, we should have access to at least APTX HD. There is no excuse for the lack of a higher end, non proprietary codec.

As for fit, it's interesting and game changing at the same time. It stays in place and is very comfortable. It comes with an extra larger wingtip that I prefer that pads the charging pad area when it's in my ear. I can see all day comfort with these if you have average sized ears. Mine are smaller than average so one of my ears gets some pressure points after very long use, but I'm the minority.

Overall, these are decent. They would be perfect if it could ANC higher frequency sounds and if non Samsung users had something better than AAC to use.

I was skeptical when I ordered these. From the design to the isolation/noise canceling I figured if they didn't turn out good I'd just return them. First and foremost the design of them. Tiny and very light weight. And because they don't have tips and just sit right out of your ear canal I was afraid they'd fall out just as easily as any earbud that didn't have silicone tips. I was waaaaay wrong. These things fit snug and do not budge. I could be head banging for a full song and these suckers won't fall out. I've never had that happen with a pair of earbuds before. The best ones I ever had stay in (the original galaxy buds) I still had to at least adjust every ten to fifteen minutes of wear. These? Pop em in and forget em. The best part? There's no pain from wearing them for long periods of time. I still can't get over that. Samsung, if you're listening, keep this design. Maybe people that suffer ear pain from using earbuds will thank you.

For the downsides, the sound could be a little better. I'm not sure if these are using the same drivers as the galaxy bud+ but if they are they should sound better, especially for the price. The noise cancelation on this is pretty weak as well. Not sure if it's because of where they're positioned in your ear. Hopefully some of these issues can be solved with updates. For now I'm enjoying my ear beans
**UPDATE**
So after wearing them this past week my ears were starting to get sore. There is another set of wings that go on the buds that are larger. After swapping them I got a more comfortable fit. When in doubt, swap the fitting, it could help!

They look nice if you wear them as supposed to be wear, but the sound is bad, is too loose, then you have to push it inside the ear to get Better sound , but if you do that the mic is inside your ear and it doesn't work for calls... Seems like they designed to look nice, not to sound quality and functionality.

Definitely appreciate the guts to make this product but it's a miss for me.

First the pros:
1. Slick and innovative. Everything from the buds to the case is really well designed as we've come to expect from Samsung.
2. Easy to fit and stays in place.

Now the cons:
1. Sound is extremely veiled. I don't use earbuds often so this may be due to my expectations from IEMs (canal earbuds like the Galaxy Buds+).
2. Bass duct doesn't do what I was hoping. Yes there's a lot of mid-bass piped into your ear but there's the same sub-bass roll-off that would be expected with earbuds. It's to be expected when the speaker is so far from your eardrum but I was hoping for better.
3. The microphone is horrendous but this has been the case with TWS earbuds and I wasn't expecting magic.
4. Not as comfortable as I expected. Hard plastic sandwiched between flesh is pretty uncomfortable and got painful after a short listen.
5. I got the black model and it's quite annoying to see the shine on these after taking them out at the end of the day (OCD really kicks in here).
6. No multipoint connections (without Samsung app). I don't understand why we cannot automatically connect to multiple connections in 2020 when Jaybird could do it in 2016 (X3).
7. Samsung refuses to include aptX so you're stuck with AAC codec (noticeably better on iOS than Android), SBC (which is limited to a low bitrate by Samsung), and Samsung's proprietary codec (I don't have a Samsung phone). If you plan to use this on Windows, prepare to have further flat and lifeless sound.
8. Noise cancellation doesn't do anything but I expected that going in. It will cancel the hum of a vehicle or fan but will do nothing for voices or other sounds.

I think the worst thing about this is how un-engaging music sounds on these. Even the cheapest (wireless or wired) IEMS sound much more lively and don't have the sub-bass roll-off these have. It's quite unfortunate because Samsung took a risk to engineer/make these but I don't particularly enjoy any of my music library with these.

No thoughts on battery life as I can't bear to listen to these for long enough to test that.

Looking forward to Samsung's next innovation but these are a miss. I'd much rather the Galaxy Buds+ but they are also plagued by the Samsung specific issues (listed above). Cheers.

These are amazing and definitely replacing my Buds+ .

Pros:

- Fit is much more comfortable than the buds+, which were tiring after an hour or so. I can wear these all day no problem

- Sound quality is also much more spacious and clear than the Buds+, with a surprisingly great bass.

- Call quality is greatly improved, especially with wind outside

- These look super unique and stylish. I'd personally go for the white model

- I really prefer the open back design, compared to the traditional in-ear headphones. They let you hear the outside world clearly, and there's no risk of missing your stop on the bus or not hearing a car heading your way.

- Rock solid bluetooth connection with my Galaxy S20 (using Samsung's proprietary scalable codec), but also great with my Macbook Pro (using AAC)

Cons:

- Active noise canceling doesn't really do much at all. It helps you concentrate more on your music and blocks some low frequency noise, but you can still clearly hear people talking and noise around you. Not a huge deal, since that's not what I bought them for, but if you NEED ANC on an in-ear headphone, go with the Sony WF-1000XM3 or the Airpods Pro

- Touch controls work great but they are a little sensitive. You may pause your music while adjusting the fit
- There is more sound leakage than an in-ear bud, but not too big of a deal. People will judge your music tastes if you're blasting full volume

- Battery life is definitely good, but the Buds+ went 11 hours on a charge. These go about 7 with ANC on and 8 with it off. That's plenty for me and the case provides more than the Buds+. Just something to note if you don't keep the case with you

I expected more, to be honest, from a 2020 version of Galaxy Buds, but they are ok. Probably not going to keep them, and dissapointed that I ordered 2 pair.
Here's a list of pros and cons after having used them for around 20 hours of play time....

Pros:
.Super comfortable
.Longer battery than first model buds
.They work

Cons:
.Touch registers 3 taps frequently after only being tapped twice
. Noise cancelation is nowhere near what it should be compared to previous versions, but it does function
.The touch sensitive portion of the buds is not an intuitive placement
.When noise cancellation is on, it rarely recognizes voice commands
.The touch and hold function fails to function frequently on one bud
.They look like beans (not important, but noteworthy)
.The charging case is symmetrical all the way around, so you have to actually look at it carefully to know which side it opens from
.Already need a software update straight out of the box, 4 days after release date (no big deal, but irritating)

I will update my review after having used them a bit longer and making a decision whether or not to keep them.

Overall...not worth the money until an updated version comes out like Live + or Live Ultra Super Sonic Pi +.

Sound Quality is great.

Noise cancellation was a surprisingly nice feature. You dont really notice how much background noise it is filtering out until you toggle it on and off.

Call quality was great, first pair of earbuds that my wife could consistently hear me through.

The fit on these was unbearable for me. With either of the tips provided they would ride up in my ear over the course of 20 minutes or so. I really struggled with this, trying to press them in and find some part of my ear where the rubber tip could catch and get a better hold. I was so impressed with these in their other aspects, but they are virtually unusable for me.

To get started I am going to discuss how these felt at the beginning. When I first put these on, I had a difficult time getting to putting the buds in my ears. It was not very intuitive. I could get it to stay put after moving it around for while. It felt comfortable once in but if I were to take it off the same struggle would occur for the next 15 times. Once I got use to it was a little easier. Once I got use to it I was moving around doing chores, and it felt comfortable. Then i bent over and the bud felt out of my ear. I then switched to the larger wing tips. Once those were in it did feel a long more secure but in exchange i felt the presence of the buds a lot more. I have had them in my ears like 8-9 hours today, and yes my ears do feels a little tired. Touch controls are very sensitive. Usually with other buds, when my ears are fatigued and i use touch controls, it would hurt quite a lot since you are pushing the silicone tip further into your ear with every press. With these buds, while fatigued, the press of the touch control does still inflict some pain, but not nearly as much. I am not no way an audiophile, but i find the audio more than satisfactory. The ANC feature does not cancel out noise as many would expect. Where the ANC comes into handy is sound quality and phone calls. I made a couple of phone calls and asked the person how the audio sounds after ANC on and off with a fan blowing on my face. They all said it sounded extremely better with it on. Another area where I find these buds great is in low latency. Yesterday before I got these buds, i was mirroring amazon prime to my Roku through my phone. You typically cannot connect bluetooth headphones directly as they only connect to Roku Speakers. However, what you could do is private listening on the roku. This is where you play the audio of the Roku TV on your phone. This is where you can pass the audio to your Bluetooth headphones. Yesterday, I was using my overear headphones Sony WH-1000XM2 for that audio. The latency is this context for the Sony's was horrible. Not even close to anime voices that i was watching. With the Galaxy Buds Live, there is not latency whatsoever. Even without the low latency feature. Now I'm going to discuss battery life. The battery life dropped to 16% after just a few hours of use. This saying 3 or 4 hours. However, i was actively listening to music and testing Bixby through these headphones, with ANC on. This was with ANC and Voice Wake-Up on the entire time which will drain the battery dramatically. I charged it completely probably sometime under an hour. My final rant is going to be the Bixby Voice Command. Eventhough i do not use any voice assistant on my Galaxy S9+. I believe Bixby has major potential. In my opinion it could be one of next moves to a greater Samsung ecosystem. The main selling point of Bixby is that it has tight integration with the settings in Samsung Devices. It does it far better than most of the other assistants, but still not good enough. Now, in my opinion, with the Galaxy buds live it is worthless. It did follow some commands to play certain songs on YouTube and to play the next song. However, it fails in the most basic command that the majority of us will use. Volume up and down. It failed everytime to turn down and up the volume. This is something that could be fixed with a software update later down the line. If Samsung is going to push Bixby on to us by not allowing us to switch assistance (without the press of a button that is), then please get these basics right! I feel like this is a great opportunity for Samsung to improve on Bixby to able to closely compete with at least with Siri and the Google Assistant giant. One little last comment on the fit, these stay extremely comfortable in my ear far more than its predecessors. After a couple of hours in the ear, the buds will tend to shift away from the correct position. You will need to move it back but nothing to extreme. I hope my review help those wanting to buy these buds.

These are the best headphones I've ever used. Sound quality on these headphones is outstanding. And I very much like the design reviews earbuds; the rest over your ear canal as opposed to going in them. It makes it so that you cannot even tell you what wearing earbuds most of the time. Please do not hurt my ears after having them in for an extended period of time.

I have had both buds, the buds plus, and now these. The audio on the bus live easily the best out of all three. The base is deep, yet not annoyingly deep. The highest, as well as the mids, can be heard very obviously and cleanly as well.

The case that comes with these is very small, it is smaller than the case that comes with the buds plus. It is definitely not as wide as the buds plus case oh, but it is a tad thicker. You are supposedly able to get 25 to 29 hours of battery life when the case and about 8 to 9 from the earbuds themselves. That is roughly about what I have been getting.

These are the best earbuds I've ever had, and I've had a lot of different pairs of earbuds. If you can get past the unusual shape of these earbuds then I think you'll be very happy with them. If I had to say anything negative about them I would say that having a waterproof rating of only ipx2 is just not up to par with what other earbuds offer. That needs to be dramatically up its next iteration. Also, I wish they would have gone with a matte finish rather going with a glossy black finish for the case because black glossy finishes tend to be very finger proof and show oil very easily.

Was excited to get a new pair of wireless buds. Saw that Samsung was coming out with some cool "beans" and was looking forward to having something to rival the Airpods the family uses as I am a strident droid user! Nice sound until I placed my phone in my front pocket and received A LOT of distortion and digital noise. Thinking this was a fluke, I continued using the beans and now on day two I continue to have the same problem. Can't get more than 10' from my phone before the beans start cutting out. So disappointed. Planning to return them and try the Jabra Active Elite 75t.

Хорошо

Got these last night, and I'll be updating once I have more experience with them. I will also be making comparisons to my Bose QC 35 II's and my old Samsung Galaxy buds (not plus) both of which I love.

First Impressions: these are certainly interesting looking earbuds and unique. The case looks and feels premium, but it also seems to collect fingerprints. The same can be said about the beans themselves.

Moving on to comfort: first off the case is a great size and I can easily open it with one hand. The buds fit good with the smallest wingtips. I vigorously shook my head and did jumping jacks without any hints of movement so nothing bad to say there. After 3 hours the backs of my ears got a little sore, but I have small ears and I expect that will go away in time. Once in though I can barely feel them and even layed on my side on a pillow comfortably! This probably changes from person to person but for me they're a solid, comfortable fit.

The sound: definitely better than the Galaxy buds and around the same as my Bose's, granted I'm no audiophile but these deliver. They sound great and I have no complaints listening to music on them, the bass is certainly there while maintaining a clear range of sounds. Super happy with how they sound so far.

The phone call quality: the receiving phone is an iPhone 8 with airpods and the calling phone is a Galaxy s9. In a quite room the beans were comparable to the Bose's and phone mouth piece. I was told that the sound was clear and loud and I could hear the other clearly. How it preforms with significant background noise I don't know.

Noise cancelling: barely there. I'll be trying these on an airplane soon, but when standing next to the QC 35's there's no comparison. Do not get these for their noise cancelling, the Galaxy buds did a better job by just having a good fit. I also can't tell a difference in music quality with anc on or off. The strength of noise cancelling may be able to be updated with software but as of writing this it's non-existent.

Overall: Samsung has made an interesting new addition to the Galaxy lineup. You get a unique set of good sounding, comfortable ear buds with a tiny bit of noise cancelation. I would definitely recommend these ear buds, so long as you're not relying on a good amount of noise cancelling. I've had no problems with connection or fit, but without a solid anc these fall short of 5 stars.
