This review is for "Samsung 4GB DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666MHZ, 260 PIN SODIMM, 1.2V, CL 19 Laptop ram Memory Module, Model M471A1K43CB1-CTD"
PROS: I was looking at different brands of RAM to bump my laptop (HP 15-DW0046NR) from 8GB to 16GB, but I was looking at a 16GB set and was going to remove the stock RAM. I used HWiNFO64 to see what I had installed and it turned out to be Samsung RAM, not some off-brand junk. The RAM this review is about is the Samsung model M471A1K43CB1-CTD, which is exactly what was already installed. So I bumped the RAM to 16GB for only $28US! My wallet was very happy. (I noticed it's even cheaper now)
CONS: It refuses to do my laundry for me.

I was able to determine proper RAM for my Acer . Received quickly, Packaged well. With a video I was able to remove 4G and install 2- 8G.

Great Service. Free Delivery and 2nd Day Delivery. I bought the Samsung 2666 Mhz 8 Gig Stick for my MSI GF63 8RD, so in case you haven't broke the factory seal on yours, it is Samsung Memory, and I was pleasantly suprized when I found this, and that it was the 2666 mhz memory, even though newegg specs said it be 2400 mhz. I haven't installed it yet. It appears to be what I ordered, as far as part number. The only difference, I can see is this stick was ' Made in the Philipines ' and the one the OEM MSI installed was ' Made in China '. Hopefully, that won't make a difference that they came off different manufacturing lines, as their the same configuration, and thats important to have two identical Ram sticks to open up the ' Dual Channels ' 2666 mhz x 2 Channels = 5.3 Gig/ Sec Ram Bandwidth on two independant 2666 mhz bandwidth streams, and now ive doubled the memory buz bandwidth, and the total DDR4 Ram size. Along with the WD Black Nvme 3.4 Gig Drive I just installed, this Rig will be Screaming Fast for 10 years to come. My Sony Viao's going on 10 years, and now its time for a new WD Blue SSD before the 10 year old one acts up. (lasted 10 years, not without maintance, I replaced the keyboard in 2015 because the K key stoped working, and installed 2 sticks of 4 Gig Ramm, to replace the 2 x 2 gigs ram, and that saved the HDD from ticking/ pagefiling, but to go anylonger without a new SSD Drive would be a fools game. OK !! I give it 5 stars on the 2nd day shipping for free, and don't expect any problems, but if I have any, ill come back to report in another thread. So, if you don't hear from me again, just know my 5.3 Gig/ Sec of Memory Bandwidth is so fast, that you wont be able to hear me ' scream ' !!

If you want this dimm for a match it is what it says it is. no problems with my laptop. i have the full 16 gigs showing and running with both sticks at 2666mhz at 19 cas latency. its good stuff for the price. you wont be disappointed if you know what you are buying. I got what i thought i was getting. Thank you for posting this Samsung.

I bought a Samsung 8Gb DDR4 2666Hz memory to upgrade my Dell G3 15 in order to run Solidworks without resource deficiency. It originally had Samsung 8 Gb memory and I wanted one more exactly same model to avoid incompatibility between two different brand memories. It was delivered very quickly taking only less than a week with a good packing condition. I immediately installed the new memory to my laptop and it worked properly. I am very satisfied with everything about the purchase including the delivery, product performance and price

I did have a little trouble at first getting the computer to recognize the additional memory. But that may have been me. I had an empty slot so I installed it there and the laptop didn't see it. I was a bit frustrated because I had put the computer completely back together - figures right? So, I don't know if I didn't quite get it installed properly or what. But, this memory has a slightly better speed rating than the original memory does. I don't know if that makes a difference. But what I did was take the original memory out and install the new memory in that slot. Fired it up and it worked. So then I put the original memory card into the 2nd slot and it worked too. So, in the end everything is working great with double the original memory....

Bought this for my girlfriends computer that we bought for gaming and other basic uses. We installed this mem-stick into the second slot already built into the motherboard. Fit perfectly. If you are unsure how it installs, there are videos on YouTube. *Remember to unplug all power sources before installing mem stick. That includes the external Power Adapter and the internal battery connection.
Took her basic Acer Aspire 5 from 4GB RAM, to 12GB RAM. Noticed the differences immediately upon boot and hopefully will make gaming experiences better and prolong the computer's usable lifespan.

I bought the 8 ram stick to power up my Tuf laptop, the reason is that some games (in this case watchdogs 2) requiere more ram than 8gb to get full 60 FPS. However in the installment part it was somewhat difficult to go in. I put the ram in the slot but my computer was not booting at all. The rgb of the keyboard was red so it gave me a sense of a serious problem. I was concerned thinking that it will damage the system, but I put the ram away and the computer worked normal. So in this case I decided to return it or give another try that risks the computer... However I really wanted the upgrade so I gave it a third try, and it worked finally, with a massive 16gb on total in a $600 laptop, just excellent.
Tips: make sure that the ram stick is all the way to the top. Be patient. Use outside sources before trying this to yourself, before installing ram remove the battery, if battery is not easy removable like this laptop, make sure that the computer is 100% energy dead with just holding the power button for more than 10 seconds.
Overall, best upgrade for $35 in a gaming laptop.

I bought this ram to upgrade the ram on Samsung Galaxy Ion 15.6 inch Laptop. There are few youtube videos that was educational on how to install ram on Samsung Galaxy Ion 15.6 inch laptop. I was skeptical if I am purchasing the correct ram module. The only information I knew in advance was that it has to be DDR4 2666MHz. I trust Samsung products for reliability, and I wanted the Samsung ram on Samsung laptop because that’s how I roll. Installation was easy as I followed youtube video instructions.
I am very happy that once I installed the ram, the computer booted up without a glitch. There was about one minute of silence or black screen; then, it booted up. As soon as it’s booted up, I saw on the task manager that I have 15.8gb of ram, so I knew that installation was successful. My laptop now works flawlessly, and I am able to multi-task on my computer. I am basically using a laptop for work and school. I usually have multi google chrome screens, word docs, and adobe files opened at one time. It’s perfect.

Just got an Acer Aspire 5, and everyone reviewing the product was bothered by mismatched dual channel RAM, but an 8gb installed with 4gb works perfectly. And I can run games at full graphics! Love this, bang for your buck and easy install. Nice.

cheap ram chip but works. (update) lasted a few months not long after posting this review and after dealing with many pc problems over the last few months since like a week after the review was posted. one friend suggested it could be the ram so i take it out and not a single problem anymore like that one stick was the base of all my errors. it did work well for a little while but the chances of the errors i got are incredibly slim so if you read all that i got the 1/1000 bad card so if you order you should be lucky and get one that works correctly. i will leave it a 5 stars because the quality and price are still pretty good.

I bought this Samsung module to accompany a pre-installed one of the same exact part # in an MSI laptop with an open slot (based on looking up using Windows terminal commands). After installation, Windows confirmed a perfect match and a happy combined 16 gb without a hitch. The only oddity was a little bit of residual paper adhesive "gunk" on one side of the module of unknown origin-- but the module looked new otherwise, was packed well, and works great. Since CUK has a strong warranty, I decided not to worry about the bit of fuzzy residue.

This RAM is a perfect fit for my MSI GL65. Same part number and everything. It seems to be an exact match and it works like a champ! After install my machine now shows 16GB of RAM and CPU-Z shows it is running at the full 2666mhz speed as the original RAM.
Install was a little tricky with removing the bottom cover but that is not the fault of the RAM.

this is the same ram as what come in the laptop. the laptop came with (1) 8gb stick and (1) empty slot. I installed this into the empty slot and boom, runs significantly faster now.

A friend in Seattle ad a laptop that couldn't be fixed by a repair person he took it to so he sent it to me. We ran a mem test and decided that perhaps the RAM was bad so we replaced it with this. Also, Windows wouldn't boot so we installed Kubuntu and it works perfectly!

It was much less expensive to add RAM than to buy a new laptop with 12gb. I usually use Kingston but this Samsung exactly met the mfg description and was at a good price point. I installed it in 2 seconds (after the case was off!). Rebooted and the 8gb was recognised by the system with ease. Unit is running all types of programs now better and faster than ever. I recommend this chip for a HP 15-db00031nr laptop.

I cant really do any benchmarks on this, but its working great on my HP Elitebook 820 G3. Its work laptop and i was desperately in need of a memory upgrade due to really stressing my laptop for work. Kept running out of memory, forcing me to close apps so that I could run docker. Problem went away. Original Samsung chipset. Dropped it, powered back up and back to business.

Good memory for the price. It was read with no problems when installed. I'm no memory expert so I can't speak for it's tech specs. but it works fine for my needs. I use it for school and gaming with no issues.

This memory module was delivered to me in excellent condition. The seller packed the memory module inside of a clean box with plenty of packing material. The seller also sealed the memory module inside of a specially-designed plastic bag to prevent electrostatic damage to the item.

This is by far the best and more reliable memory module that your money can buy. Don't waist your time and money with others. Do it right. You don't play with memory and SSD, go Samsung ! Very happy with speed and reliability of this product that I bought to expand my laptop with 4GB making a total of 12GB on my current Acer 5 Slim laptop. Enjoy it !

Got two of these to go from 8 to 16GB in my little Acer Aspire 5. They snaped right in after removing the two 4's. So simple and smooth I just went ahead and put all 10 screws back into the back and fired her up. They work perfectly. A quick tip - to check the total ram in win 10 after you start up just press the windows key and the pause key at the same time. A little window will pop up and let you see how much ram you now have. It should match what you put in or uh, oh. Mine did.
