Good for about a year
Initially this hose looked good, BUT, something told me to keep my old OEM hose.. just in case.
Sure enough, this hose wore thru. I got about a year of use out of it.
Many cost cutting measures used - cheaper quality hose, not as many wear rings and weights.
As you can see in the attached photo, the wear ring is missing where the hose wore thru, the OEM hose has the ring in this area.

extremely easy install (obviously) and when I got the new one ...
extremely easy install (obviously) and when I got the new one in - I didn't realize how bad my old one was! Half the rings were missing and the end piece was so worn down that it wouldn't whip back and forth! Now if only I can keep the dogs from thinking it's a "pool monster" trying to squirt them when the tail comes out of the water - they try and eat it! haha

Zip tie too tight and placed a slight kink in hose unit
This is original in manufacturer packaging. It came coiled and secured with a zip tie that was pulled tight enough to place a slight kink in the hose. Hose is working but seems to flex more at kinked points. I will see if this continues before taking more action. So far it is working after 1 week but still shows a tendency to bend at kink mark where the shipping zip tie was placed. This is a manufacturer packaging problem. The seller gets 5 stars for quick delivery of original Polaris replacement part.

The Polaris pool sweep hose fits
I took the Polaris to my local pool store because it was not moving at all. The next day they called to tell me that the unit,needs a complete overhaul and the quite was for over $350. Took the unit back and figured out what was wrong with it - the sweeper hose had a hole in it.
I ordered the wrong one at first but got a replacement the next day! Super easy to install and best of all,it works like charm for less than 10% of the quote!

Only 11 months of service
Installed this non-OEM sweep hose on my Polaris 280 at the beginning of June 2017. The hose failed near the end of April 2018: Specifically, the hose itself ruptured in a spot between the rings, about 8" from the end. I always keep scrubbers on the end, so it wasn't an issue of the hose scraping along the pool. My pool is gunite, although it is not a large-sized pool. I do run the Polaris pretty constantly, but, I do not think 11 months of service is good.

Spend rather $10 more on Original! Won't last a year!
You get what you pay for! We bought it for our pool in November 2018 and it already busted. It is cheaply made and has now a hole in it already and we have May! We just ordered the original Polaris for $10 more.

Fixed my Robot Issue in a Minute
Replacing the tail
Immediately fixed the issue with my robot. It was a 5 min fix. My robot was not riding flat to the pool, and had zero wall climbing power. I am still not clear exactly why this fixed the issue, but it did as soon as I installed it.

sweeper hose for cleaner works
works and as described. quality could be better it seems to only last 1-2 months with running the vacuum 1 hour a day. the original sweeper tail that came with the vacuum lasted 6 months with running it 1 hour a day. But for the price this works and replacing it every 6 weeks.

Easy installation
Installed easily to my Polaris 280. Little hard to remove the existing. Had to bread off the plastic retainer. But very easy to put new one on. So far it’s working as the original prior to being damaged.

Half the price of local pool stores and works great!
Half the price of the local pool supply stores and it’s working great! I recommend buying the 12 pack of foam tip replacements on Amazon as those wear down more frequently.

Work as expected.
Perfect match to the Polaris 380. The old one was too hard to move side to side. This new one can move easily from one side to the other side. Would recommend it.

Good value for the price
Excellent replacement as long as you take time to straighten it overnight. Reduces but does not completely eliminate water jet out of the pool. Nice product for half the price of the original.

Glad I Replaced My Old One!
Easy, quick replacement for the old hose/sweeper. Wasn't sure I really needed to replace the old one, but once I had the new one to compare, was no question. Old hose/assembly had gotten stiff and bearings/rollers were jacked up. After replacing, my Zodiac swishes it's tail like crazy. :-)

Came complete with scrubber
This product fit perfectly, came with attached scrubber and replacement hose clamp. It is a great improvement over the old unit which had worn away the end nozzle and was not sweeping very well.

Cheap quality
Don’t buy a knock off like this, it’s better to just spend the money and buy the Polaris brand. Tail keeps falling off, cheap material, wasted my money.

Had it about 2.5 months. Quick easy install. I like how it included the clip to install. No complaints. Helps prevent me from having to sweep the pool.

Works good as the tail
Works good as the tail. The foam end grinded off on our plaster pool bottom. Maybe I just didn't think of it. Would not recommend for pools with abrasive bottoms.

Way too long for a Polaris 360
I searched for Polaris 360 and this pulled up. After getting it in, I found that this is way too long for a 360 and the tail will constantly get sucked into the machine. I had to modify this myself, cutting about 8 inches off the back and Removing a set of rings. Now it seems to be doing alright. Not a huge deal.

For whatever reason my Polaris likes to eat this tail. It was never an issue on the OEM tail

Worked great!!
About once a year I have to change different parts on my Pool Polaris. I do not recall having to replace this part over. So I hope it lasts as long as the original one.. Fit great and easy to install!!

You can fix this issue, if you have it!
The 360 on low speed tends to suck the sweep up into the filter bag. I moved the lowest blue band up under the tail of the sweeper to make the end larger... that helps to keep the sweeper end from being sucked into the bad.
