Plantronics S12
When I first bought this product it was reasonably priced and worked for a couple of years then the mute button went so I had to buy another one same brand that after a couple years the mute button went , I replaced it with this one it is more tinny sounding than my other one the head gear didnt work that came with it I had to use my old one I am not pleased I think plantronics was a good company at first but somehow it no longer makes the best I do not want to spend $300 or more on anew tech one I like the simplicity of the old so I dont know what I will do if it bites the dust.

Finally a compatible to Phone Headset!
I have a landline without headphone jack and have had trouble finding a compatible headset for my online/telephone work.The S11 was a piece of junk, the metal holder did not even stay put and cords got in its way. I reluctantly purchased the S12, did not want to get a new phone along with a headset, and am extremely satisfied. All the openings are on the same side of amp, it seems sturdier, the ear-bud /headband is very light, and I love the whole set-up. Although the cord linking amp to phone is short, it does not inconvenience me in any way.The sound is great on both sides. There is a slight splashback echo of my voice, but not enough to distract me. I highly recommend this unit for anyone who works on the phone and computer, and doesn't want to spend over 100$ The only drawback is the option to use a behind the ear device instead of headband, but it feels heavy and cannot even figure out how to attach the mic and ear-bud to it, Not enough of a lack to take off a star. For this cost, the best I will find for this phone.

Make sure to check compatibility!
This headset works well but only with the listed models they recommend. My office phone works very well with it and the fine tuning dial makes it that much clearer. No feedback has been heard on our Nortel phones. If you want simple and it works, this is a good pick. If you want fancy features and premium looks then you’ll pay more for something else. This does what it’s supposed to.

Excellent casque téléphonique
Le casque se rattache au combiné du téléphone en un tour de main. La qualité sonore (aucun bruit de fond) lors de l'utilisation du casque est surprenante. Les transmissions sont claires

Good but mic too short & needs a gooseneck mic
Microphone too short. It reaches side of mouth only & people at the other end say that I sound far away even though the volume is on maximum. The microphone had to be in front of me for the other end can hear me comfortably. I had to reposition headset away from my ear so that the microphone was in front of me.
Suggestion: provide a long enough "gooseneck" for me to bend mic in front of me.

Good unit if it works!
I purchased this unit for home use knowing its functionality as I use one daily where I work. Unfortunately the unit I received was defective; the headgear did not seem to work. I confirmed this by plugging in the headgear from work into my home amplifier; as it was only a little over a month old, I am getting it replaced through warranty. Hopefully the next one I receive will work as expected.

not happy with the product
not happy with the product. when talking to customers they can never hear me, when I adjust the volume or sound I get a high pitch noise. called plantroics and my phone is not compatible.....where does it say which phones are compatible? Also I have had this for 3 mths and it broke.

Works well
Works well as it described. Purchased S12 vs S11 as I thought it's upgraded one.
A minor issue with significant echo while my wife used it for conference call. Later it goes ok with tunning a little bit of the side wheel.
