Don't bother to buy through Amazon

Mine just stop working after just a one year.
The processes to get a replacement is really annoying! i was lucky that i kept the box with all the references and numbers otherwise i wouldn't have being able to even apply for a replacement.
Next time i just order from Jonh Lewis or a big company where i can go on person.
So dissapointed with the process of warranty and actually the quality of product.

Brilliant toothbrush the travel case is poor quality and doesn’t close properly. Need to ring Philips directly for a replacement case.

Really good toothbrush.

Toothbrush was good, good quality, good prices, for me the handle was a bit chunky and visually not looking good, but it does what a toothbrush has to do, hence i ordered a different model. Still same problem connecting it with the phillips app.

Um, this is ok I suppose but can't see why it's so pricey compared to other electric toothbrushes...and I had no brush heads in my box. Wondering if I recieved a fake product...

Good battery life and cleaning

Decided to get a new toothbrush because my old one wasn't holding a charge. This is good, I think it might be kinder on my gums than the rotating brush of oral b. Battery life is really good.

so far so good

Did buy a braun 8000 series but it was soo loud. This device is very quiet but still does a wonderful job. Has multiple settings but very happy with the brush soo far. Rated 4* on Whitening capabilities as only just started to use the brush

Great toothbrush, poor accessories

I was very excited about this toothbrush as it was my first electric one. the toothbrush itself is very powerful and cleans in depth.
However I was very disappointed with the travel case as first, it looks really cheap and impractical, and second, it was faulty - the brush does not stay stable inside and the case doesn't even close.

Excellent Tooth Brush

This is the 4th Phillips Sonicare tooth brush I have owned They work extremely well the only problem is the battery life. I have experience problems with the battery holding charge after the 2 year warranty period and have never got 3 years use . That said the product functions really well until the battery fails

Brilliant toothbrush

Excellent product. You will hardly need an hygienist if you use this properly. Would not rate whitening effect but it cleans teeth very well and leaves your teeth and gums pretty much plaque free. Would recommend to everyone.

I bought this to replace my old Sonicare brush as its battery had expired. It had lasted me for years (I don't know how many) and the new one appears to be of a similar quality. If it lasts like the old one I will be well pleased.

Really pleased with this toothbrush - I’ve had sonicare’s before and I think this is the best value for money yet. I’ve taken the travel case away on holiday and it closes and opens just fine in my opinion.

Not 'NEWER VERSION' of the DaimondClean 3rd Gen

2 stars due to the fact it is a working toothbrush. If you're also here from the DiamondClean 3rd Generation, because Amazon suggested the ProtectiveClean 6100 was a newer version, DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I had the DiamondClean 3rd before and was going to buy a replacement, and somehow that suggestion tricked me into buying the ProtectiveClean 6100. How wrong I was... I'm gutted.

This is by no means a newer version, and in reality it is a inferior product which is probably only worth £30.

Here is why - I will refer to ProtectiveClean as PC and DiamondClean as DC:
- the PC charger is a thud sticking out of the base, less elegant than the socket in a place DC one.
- the PC has a stupidly bright LED shining even it's off!!
- PC has no USB charging case, DC does
- PC's only incremental feature vs the DC, BrushSync is just a gimmick technology to nudge you to spend more on the brushheads.

I cannot even name anything PC has better than DC. In one sentence: DO NOT BUY THIS. Buy a cheaper £30 or £40 Sonic Care and it would do somewhat the same job. Otherwise if you want the premium product, buy the DiamondClean 3rd Gen - it is a much better overall package and experience. DON'T BE MISLED BY THE AMAZON SUGGESTION!

Stay away, lots of bought review on here as well

I've had diamondclean toothbrushes for years now. This is a very cheap version of the 3rd generation diamondclean.
The 'additional features' are gimmicks meant to make up for a sub-par product.
Flimsy and not worth the money. No wonder this got reduced so much.

Not as good as previous, similarly priced high-end models

I bought this as a replacement for my older HX9350 Sonicare (which was similarly priced) as it felt as it was close to failing. The lack of two extra cleaning modes my old brush had - namely Polish & Sensitive - I felt wasn’t a big deal as I rarely used them. I was however disappointed to find that the new toothbrush wasn’t USB charging but instead came with a proprietary Philips charger. The cheap plastic travel case (that doesn’t stay closed) also came as a disappointment seeing as how my previous brush came with a sturdy charging travel case and a charging glass. Still, it’s a good toothbrush for the price (no way worth the 300 quid RRP thou!!) with a strong cleaning action. Just a shame they’d cut back on features to increase profitability.

Effective cleanse and nice feeling

This is the first electric toothbrush I buy and I was sceptical about it.
Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Teeth feel very clean after using it, and it's making a good job of getting rid of plaque even in hard to reach areas.
Teeth don't look much whither, but they definitely feel healthier.

It is easy to use and the vibration is quite enjoyable, which definitely helped to increase the frequency with which I brush my teeth.
Feel and look are fairly premium.

I am giving 4 stars only because I believe the pricepoint is a bit too high , unless you are buying it on promo.
If it is on promo, please go for it and get one!

Not as good as previous models. Low quality

2 stars... why? Well it is working and it is working very well. I prefer it much to the round heads you get at Oral B because you still feel like your are brushing the teeth a bit and not just holding the brush. This is my third of these and I had the previous model the diamond clean before twice.
Why not 5?:
This is the third one. Both of the former one broke down within 15 and 9 month. So you get a new brush every year through warranty basically... but not good quality.
Brush heads have always been incredible expensive but they are now even more with a new reminder function no one and I mean no one needs.
Third point is the charging. The previous models had an elegant charging station and the price was the same. The also came with an usb charging travel case which was amazing. This case is a joke and I mean a joke. I rather don’t use it as it is very cheap and almost funny to see. How can they expect this to be something nice for a top notch toothbrush? You still get the usb case with the top model which is about 350£. Well as it lasts 12 month on average and you need a £10 head every 3 month you are paying £30 a month / £1 a day for brushing your teeth. You can almost go to the dentist every month instead then...

Travel case not working. Not worth the money.

It is not worth the money. I just got on post opened it. I am going next week traveling and the travel case is not working. The lid leave itself open. Not closing really annoying. This totally turn me off now. I am put off totally with Philip. It is just the travel case they have not got it right. Hope rest of it works fine. Also at least provide an adopter. Everyone doesn’t have the luxury of having. Please not recommend to anyone. Total waste of money

Much improved after previous model

I've had a couple of weeks now with this toothbrush and I'm really impressed so far. I had the last diamondclean model and this is miles better. It's lighter, the controls for mode and intensity are now separated, meaning no frustrating cycling through settings every time you start her up.

It does leave your mouth feeling thoroughly clean, however it's not too harsh like the round brush heads on other brands. I have sensitive gums and I'm able to use this brush without wincing like others I've tried. Plus it looks nice, and who doesn't want something in their bathroom that looks as slick as these do!

I was a bit reluctant to spend this sort of money on a toothbrush, it does seem proposterous on paper but you'll soon see that you get what you pay for. Highly recommended

Good for a fresh clean feeling

I purchased this to replace my sonicare diamond clean. This useful toothbrush now comes precharged so you can use it straight out of the box. It does need charging overnight though after use as it only comes half charged. The charger stand itself isn’t as nice as my old glass one, however I like that it vibrates and beeps when docked as I know it is charging. The toothbrush itself is great and leaves my mouth fresh. I find the pressure sensor more sensitive than my old toothbrush and I like that this brush will tell me when to change my toothbrush head based on my usage. You can change the strength of the vibrations which for some may be useful but for me it isn’t really. I have tried the clean and whiten options. I’m dubious as to whether the whiten actually makes a difference but maybe it would if I was switching from a manual toothbrush. Overall a great toothbrush for what I need. I have given it 4 stars because the charger and case are nowhere near as nice as my old one so it would have been nice to have a bit more design thought go into those

Brilliant value.

Perfect toothbrush. I’ve always used Sonicare since they first came out, this is about my 5 or 6th one. My old Sonicare diamond toothbrush packed in after a few years. So ok the diamond has a few extra sensitivity levels, levels you will probably never use. It’s has a pretty cup to charge your brush in, but apart from that, I would say this is batter than the brush it’s replacing and extra value for money.

My vibrating sensation after using this brush

I bought this brush and set it in clean mode and soon after I realised do have vibrating sensation in my head hours after using it so I decided to change it to gum care with the hope my body would get use to it gradually and would migrate to clean after some time. Gum care clean did not clean my teeth properly so I changed back to clean using the least intensity. My goodness! Up to 10 hours after using the brush I still get vibrating sensation in my head. This did not happen just once, it happened each time I use it.
Someone said maybe I was adding too much pressure, I reduced the pressure (slightly touching my teeth), unfortunately it didn't clean my teeth and when I added pressure I get vibrating sensation after using this brush.

J'ai renvoyé cet article pour 2 raisons:

1- Un boitier de transport/rangement en plastique, de basse qualité, est fourni avec l'appareil. Le mien ne fermait pas.

2- J'ai trouvé la sensation de la vibration du manche de la brosse sur les lèvres, très désagréable. On dirait un courant électrique. Cela a déjà été mentionné ici. La conception du Braun Oral B évite peut-être ce problème. Echaudé, je ne sais pas si je vais tenter l'expérience.

NB:
Ma femme a commandé le même appareil sans signaler aucun de ces 2 problèmes.
De plus l'effet blanchissant sur les dents est perceptible dès les premières utilisations.

A vous de voir.

Il est indiqué que le coffret contient 2 brosses, pour le prix et du coffret et des brosses cela ne serait pas du luxe ! Mon coffret n'en contenant qu'une, je retire des étoiles sinon je préfère cette brosse à une Oral B classique perso. Par contre le petit moins : de l'eau et dentifrice partout assez facilement si on ne fait pas attention ! Lavage fréquent de miroir en perspective ! Et sinon le service client ne trouve pas la référence du modèle pour avoir une tête de brosse !

Cela fait 2 semaines que j'utilise la brosse à dents et très sincèrement je ne vois pas de différence au niveau des couleurs contrairement à ce que la pub dit . par contre le brossage est agréable . en gros c'est une brosse à dents qui brosse bien lol

L'essentiel est dans le titre. Sensation de "chatouille" dans la bouche, c'est perso. Aucun moyen de distinguer les brosses entre elles. Quand on est plus de un, on fait comment? Hallucinant quand on sait que d'autres marques proposent des bagues de couleur depuis des lustres. Bref, retour immédiat.
