Really good toothbrush
I admit I was shocked that a toothbrush can cost so much but I have dodgy gums and my dentist said I needed a better one than I had. This one has a gum care setting and I definitely notice less bleeding after a few weeks usage. Nothing I don’t like about this toothbrush. And its pink :)

A Great Dental Hygiene Experience!
We have used these toothbrushes for many years now! Just love them, being ultra sonic they clean in a similar way to the dentist’s hygiene tool. You have three settings for your personal preference, the battery life is good, the cleaning bush lasts well depending on use. You can purchase different size heads to suit your mouth, it does take time to get use to this toothbrush as it can feel like it tickles! They last years and are very worth while! There are no frills or gizmos on it. It just works ! A Professional clean! You will notice a difference, teeth and gums feel great. Use twice a day you may well notice whiter teeth depending on toothpaste and diet.

Thanks for the memories Oral-B
I've been a fan\user of oral-b for over 10 years but I have always been curious about sonic-tech offered by phillips. I couldn't justify spending £250+ on the flagship smart model and figured I didn't need the phone app so i settled on the 6100 series. The brushsync heads are expensive and for this reason it may be better value for money going for the 4300 or the 5100 series as your likely to save 50% right off the bat (same motor/speed) and brush-heads are a lot cheaper without the chip/brushsync feature. I paid £104 for the 6100 i've paid more for oral-b in the past, ebay has them listed for £84 with free pp. In any event i'm very happy with this purchase noticeable difference from the first brush, doubt i will ever go back to a oscillating / rotary brush.

Case is so bad
Does the same job as more expensive DiamondClean models. Battery life is great, charger is ok and the notification to change the brush is a nice one. Two button operations is actually better. It's obvious that in this model Philips was cutting costs, however the only piece that got hit by this is the travel case. It is terrible - so flimsy - it doesn't stay open. So yeah - if you travel a lot maybe it is worth to spend some more for a separate case or just buy the DiamondClean.
Other than this specific model traits - Philips Sonicare technology is a blast. After getting used to it you are not going back.

Great product (one you get used to it)
I used the Oral B toothbrush for years. While i loved it, the dentist told me that it "kills" my gums and that i can use it to "clean my shoes"... He instructed me to either go back to a regular toothbrush or to buy the Philips Sonicare.
People who uses Oral B after using a regular toothbrush will tell you that they feel as if their teeth were not clean before. After only one use of the Philips i felt the same. I never felt such a fresh and a cleanness in my mouth before, even with the Oral B.
On the other hand: My wife hate this toothbrush. She put it in her mouth for a second and disagree to use it again. I agree that the noise and feel are weird but after few time you get used to it.
Finally, i saw one review which said that the caring box doesn't get closed. I thought the same but the solution is to put the toothbrush with its face down

Stupidly bright LED lights
Don't usually write reviews but feel like this is a must.
The toothbrush is fine - good quality and work well.
HOWEVER, the battery drains extremely quickly due to insanely bright LED lights - as far as I know these can't be turned off, and seem to be motion sensitive and stay on for quite a while after use. Absolutely pointless and annoying when travelling to find that my 2 month old brush only holds about 3 days worth of charge!
Sack the person who thought adding those lights a good idea.

Good toothbrush, awful case
We bought this to replace a previous version that stopped working after years of good service. Although the RRP was about the same, Phillips seems to have taken away features over the years. In particular, the charging case doesn’t come with this model anymore - instead it’s the cheapest plastic case I think they could have produced. The latch doesn’t close and everything rattled. They have also taken away various modes, but to be honest we only used the main one anyway. Having said all that, the operation of the toothbrush itself is as good as ever.

Very good!
I bought this after my dentist told me that I should upgrade to an electric toothbrush, but didn't feel like shelling out £200+ for the diamond version but still wanted something decent. I've gotta say this thing is like a jack hammer in your head (in a good way). It's taken a bit of getting used to as it's hard to figure out where the head of the brush is on the highest setting because it's vibrating so much you can't feel it properly xD! However you do get used to it and it seems like there are pauses on the different settings every 30 seconds to allow you to gauge how long you have for your brushing session. The electric toothbrush itself feels solid and the travel case is a nice addition. I'd give this a 4/5.
One thing I will say however, don't be fooled by the 3 options making a difference, you have 3 settings of intensity and basically 3 timers. Brush is 2 mins, white is 2 min 30 sec and gum clean is 3 mins (might be 3 min 30 can't remember.).

I bought this to replace one I lost. Such a shame. The plastic now feels cheap and harder to grip, it's smaller and I'm assuming has less battery life because of it (I haven't tested that). The box is trash, just one piece of plastic with a fold, the previous was a proper case with multiple parts and hinges. It probably does the same job as well but they've cut corners with the design and the price is the same. I used to recommend these to everyone but won't now.

Don’t expect to be able to charge it
No mention of the charger not being suitable for UK plug sockets. Meaning an extra expenditure to ensure I can actually charge the toothbrush in the first place!

Probably best electric toothbrush
I have tried a few different products from different companies with not such great results or experience but this left me totally overwhelmed. Excellent toothbrush! Battery life is just unreal, the whole body is made of quality materials and it's very comfortable to hold and use it, it's got several built in functions and is durable and also looks great! Both me and wife are very happy with these(she got a pink one I have a black one). Definitely recommend this product, best buy in a long time.

Great... but it’s just not an Oral B.
I’ve given this 5 stars because I can’t actually fault the build, battery, functions or anything really.
But...
I used an Oral B for the past 3 years and I just can’t get used to this style of toothbrush. It comes down to a personal choice. And as said I can’t actually fault it.
I’ve since returned it and updated my Oral B.

this capable brush can change the intensity of the brush and can remember the last setting which is very useful
change the brush head it changes the setting to the best intensity automatically,yet you can manually change should you want, very capable, it arrives charged for immediate use, everything is supplied with good instruction booklet
this is far superior to the diamond clean which is very basic in my opinion a purchase I regretted

Had two of them in a year
This toothbrush is definitely not durable. The first I got was broken after the 4 months of light usage. I thought, perhaps that is because it was from a bad batch and decided to give it a try for the second time since it was fine while it lasted. The second one I got lasted even less, after 2 months it started having battery problems and I had to charge it every day and after four months it completely stopped working. I am so much disappointed with this product, planning to use Oral-B now. Now, I suspect Philips might keep the product life short on purpose for the sake of planned obsolescence.

It's OK but not as good as the last model and twice the price!
Once you have had a sonic toothbrush, there is no going back to anything else in my view, however, the vibration and resonance levels are not as before. The benefit of the old brush was that it vibrated at a speed and in a way where the focus was in the head of the brush and not in the handle. It left your teeth squeaky clean until the evening brush and whilst this one does clean OK, you can feel plaque beginning to build up before the next brush in the evening. In my view, this is not as good as the previous model which was £60 yet this one is £104?

Save money - buy the pink model.
Excellent, especially as I saved a considerable percentage of the cost by ordering the pink model rather than the more handsome dark blue version that had initially caught my attention ... until I spotted the reduced price for pink!
My only complaint - so far after one week - is that the handle is rather too long for me to turn the brush with ease in my hand so I can scrub my tongue and roof of my mouth.

For me, not as good as the Oral B it replaced
The only downside of this toothbrush is the straight head - the Oral B it replaced had a round head and the results seemed to be much better as you could clean each tooth individually and it got into all the areas easily. I don't get the same feeling of clean as I did with the Oral B despite using the same toothpaste. Still a very good product though and does the job

I initially bought a new Oral B that had bluetooth and connectivity to a timer (neither worked and app was poor), battery was also not as powerful as my old Oral B which was strange so Returned this and decided to buy Sonicare - Teeth feel as though i have had a scale and polish at the dentist...Highly Recommend, and no battery issues either.

Waste of money! It’s started failing within 3 months of purchase
I’ve been using Philips sonicare since they first came out. I brought this to replace one if had about 3 years. It arrived in early December, my wife and I have used it twice a day each since then. As of yesterday the toothbrush has started making a terrible noise and doesn’t work properly. I’m very disappointed with this, I feel Philips’ quality control seems to have gone down hill in the last couple of years. Do not buy this toothbrush unless you only want it to work for a couple of months. Waste of money. I will it be buying another one.

You probably should avoid this model - Will not last a year
I purchased this toothbrush back at the end of 2018, and within 8 months it was unusable.
I assumed that this could be just a simple rare fault, so went through the warranty process and was supplied with a brand new handset. This replacement has now developed the same fault as the first! The vibrating shaft seems to have come loose inside the unit, rendering the whole thing useless. Now out of warranty, and out of the house in the bin.

Almost an excellent product!
This is my second Sonicare brush and is more powerful than the previous model. However, the travelling case is most disappointing, the catch does not work making it absolutely useless! Hence the three stars.

Really good product
I really like this electric tooth brush which replaced my older Phillips Soniccare.
The only thing I am not a fan of is that the lights don't seem to turn off for a long time and the two button feature makes it look abit ugly. Nonetheless it works great!

Teeth feel really clean!
Took a few days to get used to the vibrations of the toothbrush, but so glad I made the choice to move on to this toothbrush. Has three different settings with three different speeds (but I've only ever used one configuration) and teeth feel much cleaner.

Poor job of cleaning
We have had many Phillips toothbrushes and this is by far my least favourite. We have had it for 1.5 years and it still works but we have always found it to be very poor quality. For example, if you've eaten cereal or something similar, the toothbrush fails to get the 'bits' out of your teeth. Just generally goes not leave our teeth feeling as clean as other models. Overall - disappointed.
Time to buy another one but its shame to have an additional expense when we wouldn't need to buy another if this one actually did the job.

Best electric toothbrush I have had really heavy and feels really premium in materials..looks modern and high tech and cleans really well my teeth felt cleaner and looked whiter after just a couple days usage I was sceptical that the brush vibrates side to side and that oral b would be better because it spins but this definitely cleans better than an oral b

A tooth-cleaning weapon
This thing is lethal in your mouth. It feels like it's doing a good job, has a decent amount of features, but doesn't hold charge for any impressive amount of time. Comes with a case and two heads. It's quite noisy--my whole household can hear me brush, no kidding.

Prepare for one weeks charge not two!
Claims 2 weeks charge. Mine is new, charged fully. Used twice a day and the battery light is flashing to indicate it needs charging after 7 days! Either mine is faulty or their claim is garbage! For the price, a weeks charge is a joke. Will be returning if it happens again.

A quality toothbrush.

not impressed at all
I bought this toothbrush for over £100 in Februray 2019. Firstly I had to return it after only a few months as the battery only lasted a day or so. Now I'm returning it again as the shaft that holds the toothbrush head it loose and rattling making it impossible to use. Overall if I'm paying that kind of money for a toothbrush I expect much much better......with the warranty due to run out in a few months I have no faith in it lasting beyond that time - avoid in my experience, poor quality

but it is good.
in fact it is better than good. it is brilliant.
mouth feels clean like after the checkup/clean at the dentist.
I suffer lots of paque buildup but this is the first that gets it clean

Worth it at £89 but not at £220
Replacement heads are ludicrously expensive but the whole package works exceptionally well. Like the variable modes but I wouldn’t be quite so happy if I’d had to pay the full RRP.

Totally worth it!
I only use philips sonicare. This is to replace my sonicare of 3 years after I dropped it. Love the sleek all white design. My teeth feel so much cleaner after brushing. And the head replacement indicator is a plus! Worth the price!

You will never go back to your regular toothbrush
Great value with lots of extra features, long battery life (lasts about 2 weeks for me) so will not cause inconvenience if travelling. Whitens your teeth and definitely cleans better than a regular toothbrush.

As per my previous Sonicare's, this failed within 1.5 years.

This is my Best Buy of 2018. Looked at loads of reviews of all the leading electric toothbrushes & thought I would try the Sonicare. Up to my last well known brand this runs rings around it. My teeth have never felt so clean & looked so nice. The battery lasts easily two weeks, the way it cleans is superb & the timer is helpful. The sale price was great. Very happy.

I upgrade my Philips which I have used for 4 years. The old battery is going flat too fast. So I changed to that new one . Obviously the new one is more powerful, I feel a deep cleaning
