I had previously purchased the 2GB modules of RAM to upgrade the overal memory that originally came with my 27" iMac and it worked perfectly. The iMac came with 4GB and I was able to upgrade it to 8GB by purchasing two of those modules.I was very pleasantly surprised to find the huge price drop that these memory modules went through in less than 12 months. Because I have been looking forward to upgrade yet again the RAM in my iMac (this time going up to the max, which is 16GB) I ordered 4 of these modules.As soon as they arrived, I installed them and was really happy to see that my system responded very well to the new RAM. I do a lot of graphics and photography work and I used to hate it when either Photoshop or Corel Painter would slow down as I added more and more layers to the piece I was working on. Well, no more. I have worked with both programs opened while concurrently working in two separate pieces of work and there isn't a single hitch or hiccup.I wholeheartedly recommend this brand of RAM because both its performance and its value are unbeatable.

Hate to say it, but this RAM wasn't compatible with my Lenovo notebook. I installed 2 of these sticks, and I started having random errors about a week after installing. Unfortunately, the errors came with a large batch of Windows updates which I attributed the problems to. I would get hang-ups at start, IE, Chrome, and destop gadgets would shut down randomly, and I'd get BSODs. Partially my fault I guess as I didn't attribute it to the memory since I had run memtest with positive results. The problems were intermittent at first but gradually became more frequent. I finally took the Patriot sticks out and installed the original memory, and it's now been several days without issue. Too bad the 30-day return window is up. I won't be sending these back to Patriot. Instead I'll try another brand.

After my newest laptop's hinge broke, I ordered a new one.4gb is usually workable, but when an upgrade to 8gb was just about $20, it's silly not to do it.It installed easily and cleanly, and it works just fine.Other than that ... well, it's memory. It is what it is - the biggest bang-for-the-buck you can get when spending money on your PC. Make sure you're getting the type that's right for your motherboard, make sure you're using a 64-bit OS, match it with any other memory already in the system, and you're pretty much set.

These work great in my Asus G73JH. I had to dismantle my entire laptop to get these in, but it was worth it when using many Industrial Design programs at once (Keyshot, Solidworks, Adobe, Fap Nation,etc.).

RAM snapped in with extreme ease. The computer recognized it immediately and there were no problems. Computer was immediately much faster. Couldn't be more pleased with the price and ease of use.

Patriot Signature 4 GB PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 Desktop Memory PSD34G13332 - got two sticks for a new computer build. Came out of the packaging with ease and went in without an issue. At just under $19 per stick they were inexpensive but got just 2 for now with 2 more for a later purchase to keep the initial build cost down a bit.Work like a charm - noticable differance between the 6gb in my old computer and the 8 current in the new system. Can't wait to toss two more sticks in and get even more speed.

I got this on time and the price was good. I installd it on my new machine (W520) which works without any problem now for near one month.I have other memory from this company on my old machne for about four years that working fine. It was main reason I choose this brandbeside the price.

I ordered a pair of these chips to bump my Toshiba laptop from 2GB to 4GB. Installation was simple, the laptop came right up, and everything on the Windows 7 performance monitor looked good. About 5 minutes later the laptop restarted without warning. I made sure everything was installed and running correctly. It rebooted itself again. After several more random reboots I reinstalled the original memory. No more random reboots. I tried swapping memory a couple more times and it is consistent: with the original memory there is no problem but with the Patriot Signature PC3-10600 DDR3 SODIMM Notebook Memory installed the laptop reboots itself at random. It's not going to work so I'll return it.Now the fun begins...Returns on items sold by [...] are quick and easy. I've only had to return a couple of things but Amazon has always been very good about it. TigerDirect is another story. You can't print an RA from the Amazon site. You have to call their 800 number. It takes a while to negotiate their phone menu and then I get a recording that says, "We are experiencing higher than normal call volume. Call back in an hour." Oh, goody. I wonder why the number for product returns is so busy?A few more tries and I got passed the "call back in an hour" prompt. Then I sat on hold listening to their "all agents are still busy - please continue to hold" recording for seven minutes. The person that finally answered was defensive - I must have ordered the wrong memory. When he finally looked it up he agreed that it should work but told me to contact the laptop manufacturer. After a bit more back and forth he finally agreed to send an RA. We'll see what happens.BTW, Systemax, parent company of TigerDirect, recently acquired CompUSA, which went belly up in 2008. You have been warned...

I purchased this RAM because of price and a well-known name.. I usually purchase only Crucial but at the time it was a lot more. Anyway,, I installed it in my brand new, never-run 2010 iMac 27" Core i7 in about 5 minutes. Fired up the machine and it recognized all the installed memory right away! After a few weeks the machine would randomly shut off. At first I thought it was a strain on the power cord so I re-routed it and no problem... for a few weeks. Next I had Apple replace the power supply, all good.... for a few weeks. Finally did some digging on this issue and without fail everyone who was having this problem figured out it was a memory issue. According to the specs this should and mostly does work, however when you get into really high memory configurations (mine is 12GB) the timing and specs have to be PERFECT. After removing this RAM I've had no problems for over a month now. I am going to replace all the memory with Crucial or OWC now. I'm not filing a warranty claim because I just don't trust Patriot.+++++ New information = 5 starsSo my iMac finally shut down again for no reason. I finally took a single stick of known-good RAM through all 4 slots in the iMac and it turns out one of the DIMM slots was defective. Apple is replacing the logic board under warranty and all should be well. I caused at least some of this headache by not even trying to boot the computer before I stuck in additional RAM filling all the slots. 3/4 of the sticks were carrying the load and whenever it tried to read from the flaky slot it shut down.

I saw this recommended by someone else on a blog. I installed it on my Acer One 722 Series Notebook to take it from 2GB to 4 GB. Turns out to work just as well as the more expensive ones but at a fraction of the cost. It's easy to install. I've been using it for quite a while now and it is working just fine.

I have used this product for 7 weeks. It works fine as a product (which means, for a memory, I do not notice its existence except for the added 4G totoal physical memory and almost zero swap usage under Linux).I would rate it 4 or 5 stars as a product. But the 2-star rating above is based on my unpleasant experience with the Patriot Memory's rebate program.Here is my experience.I bought it on 30 September 2010 at price of $93.98 (including shipping), the last day of the (then) $20 rebate. I mailed out the rebate form *with the UPC sticker on the memory package* following their instructions on the program the next day after I received it from Amazon, expecting to receive the $20 gift card in 6 to 8 weeks.However, I received a card from Patriot Memory on 13 November 2010, telling me that(quote begins)...Your claim is invalid for the following reason(s)* The rebate requires the original 12 digit UPC from the product packaing.Please submit the missing/corrected information , along with this postcard, to Patriot Memory at the address above by 11/14/2010....(quote ends)I feel ripped off because I am positive that I have correctly followed their instructions on including the UPC sticker. I also feel insulted because I am *required to respond by the next day*. I can wait for one and a half month and you cannot wait for another day?I searched on Google for "patriot memory rebate scam" and found a few other customers shared similar experiences [...]. Though I do not think my experience is universal (otherwise the company should be taken down by the customer long ago), mine is bad, and the only confirmed one for me.To wrap it up, based on my experience, this is a fine product. But you should think twice before buying from them if the rebate is one of the main reasons to choose them over their competitors.In case that any Patriot employee comes across this review, you can look into my case by the Claim ID 60979332

I bought two DIMMs of this along with a new notebook. This upgrade (less than $50) was a lot cheaper than buying the next-highest notebook in the series, making this a very cost-effective purchase. The computer has performed very well, although I didn't use the notebook before adding the RAM, so I can't say anything about the marginal improvement it brought.

My laptop had a 4 gig stick in it when i got it, bought this to help with gaming speed. First improvement to mention is the WEI windows experience index rated the 4 gig alone at 6.1 and after the install of this one, it rates at 7.5. The highest being 7.9 of course. best bucks ive ever spent.

Well, what else do you expect? It's perfect in every way.Fair price, and it works flawlessly.Step 1: Open computer and remove old RAM.Step 2: Insert Patriot 4GB sticks into RAM slots.Step 3: Use computer with greater capacity than before.It seriously could not be any easier than that. Just slap it in and go, no fooling with settings, no trouble with booting, it just works.

The ram upgrade of doubling the ram increased to capabilities and speed of my laptop. The ram performs as advertised and no problems encountered. Product a good choice.

I bought these a month and a half ago for use alongside two Patriot 4 GB PSD34G13332H sticks that were already installed in the machine. Popped them in and everything worked right out of the gate. Most affordable way to bring a system up to 16 GB that I've found.
