this ram looked awesome and worked fricken awesome for the first 30 minutes... but then started failing and giving me blue screens of death when id use more then 80 percent of the ram. and i tested each one by themselves, it did it with both sticks. sent them back.

I have had this product since 2010 and it's the best and fastest memory sticks I've had. installed in a custom built system and no problem what so ever , would like to add 4Gb more to system

I was planning to add 2x2GB to existing 2x2GB.Therefore made sure all clocking parameters are the same.The sticks I received are exactly same model I ordered. After week or two my computer (Win7 64bit) started throwing BSOD (didn't see this since Windows Vista). After removing new memory all works.And then I found out interesting detail. While in Amazon store memory is listed as 5-5-5-12 on stick it has 6-6-6-18. Now it clicked to me why after adding new memory Windows reduced RAM performance in Experience Index for few decimals. Since RAM is not refundable item accordingly to Amazon return policy and just replacing it doesn't look like solution for me we'll see what will be a workaround.

I used this memory in a computer build for a home video camera security system. This memory is installed in a Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard and running on Windows Vista 32 Bit. I had to use Vista to match the security camera card and software that I am using.This memory is performing very well and it is working with multiple security cameras and processing multiple video streams without one issue. The timings are set at 5-5-5-12 and the memory is running at 800MHz. I like that the memory is supplied with aluminum heat dispersing shields and it runs cool. This is a DDR2 style of memory that runs at 1.8 VDC and carries a lifetime warranty.They have worked well for me and I recommend them to you as a good memory set that operates well.

I am glad I chose Patriot Memory Gaming Series, it is just perfect for my needs, fast and reliable, takes the whole gaming experience to another level.I had Windows XP x86 when I first installed it so I did not take the full advantage of the 4 GB RAM(s) because XP only allows 3.5 ram to run. I also had another 2 GB ram already installed so that makes it 6 GB of ram. However, I had to purchase Windows 7 64 and voila here I am using 6 GB of ram and I cannot be happier with how fast and perfect it is.My advice is if you want to upgrade your RAM and add more to it, make sure to have a system that is compatible (i.e. Windows 7 64 bits allows you to use more than 3.5 of RAM while WinXP 32(x86) only allows 3.5 of RAM)Thanks Patriot for this amazing RAM :)

I had a 4 GB module (one of a six piece DDR3 1600 MHz kit) fail after a year. I got an RMA and returned them and have heard nothing for three weeks-no response to email, all phone calls go to voicemail and are never returned, etc. I haven't seen anything saying they're out of business, but it sure looks like it from here. Has anyone heard anything about Patriot Memory closing their doors?john

I ran memTest after I installed the RAM and it passed on the first pass through. But I started to get Blue Screen crashes at random moments usually when I had large number of windows opened. So I ran the memTest again and one of the sticks was dead and had multiple errors on it. When it was working the RAM was great I notice a huge improvement in my system but one of the sticks clearly failed after a few days. I'm giving it 3 stars because I feel a simple RMA to the company will fix my problem, bad sticks happen once in a while.On a side note, very poor 2 day Amazon Prime shipping, Ordered on the 23rd a Friday and didn't get it until the 27th Tuesday should have came in on Monday. Plus when the package came the RAM was only protected by a very thin piece of cardboard and I could hear the contents moving freely inside the box before I opened it.Installed RAM onAsus P5B Deleux (with BIOs update)

Upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista and decided I needed a bit more memory. Couldn't find the same brand memory sticks already installed locally so ordered through Amazon.Memory arrived a week later with normal shipping. Prompt service, no issues.
