Not good performance
After one month this cell switched off with Low Battery indication. After that not getting charging and switch on. Since warranty period is there, I contact in toll free number and searched given service centre which is given by customer care.but on enquiry it is confirmed that service centre is closed permanently.In this situation please suggest what I have to do.

Yes, it is Made in India, a Jananese Brand.
Decent phone in this price, for basic usage ..
But it is made in India and Panasonic is Japanese company .. so no headache at all ..
If you want a basic phone for phone call and messaging with good battery .. go for it ..
Camera is highly usable, specially in 7k bugs

Good phone. I will surely recommend to buy
For the given price range it is a good phone. I am using it since last one week. Camera is not as expected. Speed is excellent. Phone design is good. Very handy. Speakers and its volume is very clear. Overall value for money product.

Great answering system. I have gotten this to replace, or upgrade, and older version. Main advantages:
1. Improved filtering of unwanted calls. We get over a dozen a day and this blocks up to 300 numbers but it can block a broad set of such numbers. Thus you can block all 1-8xx numbers and eliminate many of the incoming calls.
2. Blocking can be done with no ring. The system can be configured to not ring at all when a blocked number attempts to call.
3. Blocking is much easier than with the older system, just one button.
4. It is Bluetooth enabled and your cell phone can readily connect.
5. It is easy to upgrade since many of commands are similar and many are more easily accessed.
6. Quality of voice is good and otherwise it works well.

Liked everything about this cordless phone system, except the answering machine which would not record messages. Sent the system back, awaiting complete refund. I may try again once the refund goes through. Hopefully, it was just a bad unit from the factory.
Update 2020-01-11: Tried a second unit only to have the same problem - answering machine would not work. Did some more research and found that this answering machine will NOT answer/record messages from cell phones !!!!!
Very hard to believe, but it is very clearly stated on Page 83 of the user manual "The answering system does not answer or record calls from cellular lines." Unbelievable.
I suspect it also doesn't work with VOIP phones as well. Useless nowadays when probably 80%+ of calls are made from either cell phones or VOIP phones.
Lowering ratings to 1 star only because I can't select 0 stars.

We ditched our landline years ago but for several reasons decided to get a new one just for local calls. I have always preferred Panasonic phones so we got this set. It's way more than we need but nevertheless I find the handsets to be sturdy and durable. The batteries have good longevity at this stage and I do appreciate the low battery verbal notification, even if it didn't frighten me half to death when it made the announcement in the middle of the night. I haven't figured out how to adjust the volume of disable that particular feature so we are diligent about returning the phones to their charging stations every night before bed. Believe me, it's part of the bedtime routine, just like toothbrushing.
I don't use the other features so I won't comment. I imagine these will be the last phones we will need.

Complicated system. Handsets are really poorly designed. Pathetic really, for such a lovely machine. The rest is okay once you leave the 80 page instruction booklet aside and just go ahead, try everything -- it's much easier. This my second Panasonic cordless in a dozen years, so it wasn't a totally strange experience. There does seem to be some echo back which I haven't yet resolved, if it can be resolved. Annoyance. Otherwise, visually attractive set up in this model.

so, why does the base unit lose the date and time (and probably other options that I've set) when there is the briefest power failure? the handsets have batteries. they can't remember the time so the base unit can query one of them after a power failure?
and get this! there's no menu option on the base unit to set the time! you've got to press menu on any handset. then, you do NOT scroll through a list of options till you get to "date" or "time". Oh, no, you must remember the secret code #101 to get the date/time settings dialog.
here's what I'd say to these software engineers, no matter how good this hardware is:
YOU'RE FIRED!

Had the phone for seven months and the base unit voice message record system totally garbles the messages left by callers. Oddly enough if the message is played back from one of the hand sets it is intelligible. However completely unintelligible from the base unit. Will try Panasonic support but I may have to request a replacement. Will post later how that goes. Other then the garbling of messages the phone hand sets work fine.

Great price for so many quality features, like link to cells and room to block so many numbers, on a cordless phone.
The only problem we found is the low volume of the speakers for speaker phone use on the phones.

Amazon - who should know a bit about retailing - have sent me a cordless phone set with American voltage with incompatible Australian plugs and voltage. The refund procedure makes you cry. I think I'm going to just chuck mine and try again (locally).

Not happy at all phones echo asked for a refund they wanted to charge me a stocking fee that was crazy. Decided to keep phone do to the crazy fee. Do not use at all. Will not by again

I purchased this system on Amazon SG thinking that the products will be suitable for use in Singapore. Unfortunately it came with a US power adapter. Won't work on Singapore power supply. So this is gathering dust now.

purchased this unit back on January 16 2018, so far (2) out of (4) of the cradles will not charge the phones, I have to plug the phones in the Base to charge, I called Panasonic what they told me to send the cradles back to the service center at my cost.
WHAT!, I said a warranty and I have to pay give me a break.

We love these phones. Both our cells are connected via bluetooth which allows us to receive cell calls on a quality device whose voice quality beat any cell phone I have ever owned. These phones notify us when we receive a text as well. I can use any of the handsets anywhere in the yard, the garage, the shop (a wood shop outbuilding in our back yard) and anywhere on the property without any problem. The sound quality is superb, even when taking a cell call, and we can block 250 numbers for those robocalls that continue to come and come and come...
These are excellent phones and well worth the money.

Most of the features of this phone system are great.
However, after following the instructions I cannot turn off the Caller ID voice. I select off and it still comes on with each call. The volume is high and the voice is annoying. I tried cycling on save off save and it doesn't stop. I checked after saving and it says off but it is on.
This is likely a programming error.
Also the voice caller ID is loud and annoying. It mispronounces a lot of things.So if I could have shut it off 4/5 stars.
I ordered another one of these to see if I just received a defective item. It did the same thing and the manufacturer support line agreed that it was a product fault. It will ring about two times before the caller ID Voice activates. It cannot be shut off.

We are replacing our old Panasonic phone & so so glad we did. This one is so much better. Caller blocking now is easy & quick. When you see a scam call coming in- one push of a button & they are blocked, you don't have to wait till they decide to hang up to do it. The other feature I love is that you can set it up so that when blocked callers try to call - they won't even ring thus not disturbing you. What I also love is having the 2 extra sets as I can keep one fairly active, one is charging & always full charge so can swap as needed. This is a really great phone, a big step up from the older model. Even if you don't need to get a new system, this is worth getting as it is really improved.
UPDATE: This phone lasted less than 2 years. For some time, we've been denied using the best feature, call blocking. It keeps saying memory is full but when trying to erase anything, it says it's empty. We've tried everything to no avail. Contacting Panasonic was useless. I urge you not to buy this phone. It was great while it lasted, it just didn't last very long.
