I don't have very good luck with cordless phones, so time will tell for sure. However, these phones seem to be clearer than my last Panasonic Phones. I keep reading the reviews that the Panasonics are the best cordless phones for the money. I hope that holds true.

After reading Consumer Reports and the rave reviews on Amazon I decided to replace my aging Panasonic KX-TG5433 with this new system in an identical configuration. I am very disappointed. The sound of the KX-TG6513B is so poor compared with my old phone that I am reverting to the old one and returning the new for a refund. I had been hoping for a significant improvement. There are some operating and display improvements but these do not make up for the inferior sound quality. No doubt some genius at Panasonic or their manufacturer decided to shave a few pennies off the cost of the sound system. I have used several generations of Panasonic phones and this is the first that is worse than the previous.

I researched this phone before I purchased, so I expected it to be good, but it has proven itself to be exceptional. I did not want an answering machine with the phone, so if you need that feature, keep looking. If you would like a phone that does everything well, and easily without issues, than look no farther.

I have been pleased with the service I have got from this phone.I needed a phone that I could plug a headset in, this one has a jack, which works well.The sound quality is good, and the over all quality of this phone is very good.

These are great phones. They cover the entire house and beyond. The voice quality is always crystal clear. The battery life is excellent. I eapecially like the speakerphone function. My family has been using the answering machine version of these phones at home for a year and have had absolutely no issues. I just bought the simpler non-answering version as a gift for my technology-challenged parents and they love them.

I bought this as a stand-alone rather than as an addition to a base unit. It has performed very well this way.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because they redesigned the interface so that deleting individual received calls from the call list - which I do a lot of - requires two soft-button actions plus an "up" action on the scroll button for each delete rather than simply dedicating one of the hard buttons to Clear (delete) the highlighted call, which is the way it's done on my older Panasonics.

System came with 3 phones, one base station and two other charging stations.Voice quality is good. Battery life is good.As with all portable phones, programming in phone numbers is a chore, butfollowing directions will do the trick.

The best bargain I have had so far. Th phone is one of the few electronic items I bought that actually was worth many times more than I paid. It is perfect quality, performs great, and was an excellent buy. The phone came in excellent condition and was shipped fast, and was truly the best. Thanks a billion

NO TALKING CALLER ID AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION!We've only had the phone a short time - it seems fine. So far, so good. We were, though, incredibly disappointed that it did not come with 'talking caller ID'. The description plainly states that it's one of its features and that was the deciding factor when we ordered this particular phone.Had we not been desperate for new phones, we might have pursued a return, etc. I did contact both Amazon and Vanns to let them know of the misleading information in the description. As of today, though, the description still falsely states that it has 'talking caller ID'. If you find this feature to be important, this is not the phone for you.

I have bought other phones before and chose Panasonic again. This one is very nice and simple to program and use. I only wish it held more numbers in the directory.

This phone is the best phone I have ever had!The sound is excellent,and the screen is big so you can see the information without having to pick it up. I love the call block option, and it is all so easy to use. Don't hesitate, this is all the phone you will need.The headset is clear and really helps if you need to use your hands when on the phone, of course you can also use the speaker phone which also works perfectly.

I bought this to replace an old Panasonic cordless phone which had seen its day. The clear display is very easy to read, set up was a breeze & voice quality can't be beat. I would highly recommend this phone!

I bought this system mainly for the three handsets that are included for the price. Most other units in the price point offered only 2 with extra charges for more.I am very pleased with the ease of operation and quality of the hardware. It was easy to set up and has many functions I haven't even set up yet, so for just basic use this system is very easy to put into operation. Took me maybe 10 minutes.I especially like the large font display, so if your tired of squinting to see who's calling or to browse the menu...this set is great.Would definitely recommend.

This is a great little phone system. Has super sound quality, easy to use and set up, stylish and a decent feel. But, despite Advertisements this does not have the Talking ID feature.

Phones seem fine, light and well built. Hooked them up to my cableco phone and they work fine, with caller ID and all that. Wish I could keep them in the charger while using the headset or speakerphone. I have long calls that run out before the battery.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036RDR5E/ref=oss_productAmazon advertises these phones as having TALKING CALLER ID. This really is one of the main reasons I purchased these phones. Got home and after spending hours setting up the phones (ph# and preferences) - I realized these phones DO NOT HAVE TALKING CALLER ID. Really disappointed Amazon represented these phones as having a VERY DESIRABLE FEATURE which influences buyers' decision to purchase them. Feel Amazon should exchange my set of three phones received (AT NO CHARGE TO ME) for one the models listed in the Owner's Manual which has the TALKING CALLER ID as advertised - and has EQUAL or ADDITIONAL FEATURES as the ones I received.

A handy phone that even my old eyes and fingers can easily navigate. The quick and easy volume control is another plus for me. Setup was easy if you bother to read the directions. I am very satisfied with this phone- works well out in the garage and out back as well.

I spent about 2 hrs comparing the different brands and the many hundred reviews on all of them. Finally I decided to get this Panasonic phone because for the price and all that it has to offer. It was easy to set up (plus and play) and the time adjusted automatically to my time zone...that was pretty cool.

The phone has a problem when you answer a call it has a delay of 2-3 seconds where the caller can not hear you.The result is that you say 'Hello, hello, hello' numerous times. Also the vendor that sold the product only gives a 30 day warranty. I would not recommend this phone.

I've had the phone about a month. Speaker is very clear. You can store 50? phone numbers for recall. There's no speed dial option. There's not that many options so learning the procedures is not too intimidating. Instructions will help. Personally I would like a bigger base although I haven't knocked it over when standing up in use. I use the speaker function about 90% of the time. Caller ID has letters big enough to be easily read.
