I used it to track someone with substance issues whose safety I was very worried about. The magnetic box attaches easily underneath the car and did not come off. The tracking was very accurate and I was very grateful I knew where my loved one was at all times. Don't hesitate to buy this bundle. It works as advertised. The battery lasts about a week before you need to charge it, so just be aware of that. I believe there is a version of this product that updates less often, but the battery last longer. Check their website for that if your need is for a longer battery life. Thank you, Optimus! I'm so glad I purchased this product. Customer service is great, too, by the way.

This tracker is very easy to use and set up! The app is great to use seeing exactly where they are on the map and also changing the view to satellite to see a better view of the area. The alerts work real well through the app when they start moving and also getting a backup email alert as well for movement. The magnetic case really is weatherproof and sturdy to stick on the bottom of a car. I saw some other trackers require a SIM card and this one does not which makes it super easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this tracker.

I will practice with this a little more, but the actual subscription service seems to be lacking in accuracy and timely location updates. Even though you can set it to check every 10 minutes (saves battery) you can also "ping it" to find the location at any time. That feature is not always quickly responsive, but does eventually show up after 10-20 seconds or so. Good value though.

Overall OK product but I expected better.
Tracking works but slight inaccuracies and false movements.
Battery life is OK. I hard wired to vehicle battery, so no issues there.
Phone application (Android) is buggy and needs work.
Also, if you use the app too frequently (within 15 minute intervals is what I observed) it will sign you out, and you will be required to sign back in with username and password. That can be extremely irritating! Beware..

worked on 1 charge for over 2 and a 1/2 weeks... shows address locations amazing!!! the person even got an oil change and it was never discovered lol..... would totally recommend it, worth the money!!!!

This is a must have for any guy with a beautiful wife or girlfriend as they get hit on 100 times a day. It seems every guy I run into, it's the female who is cheating these days. I was able to catch my wife cheating as I suspected but could never prove it. This unit works like a charm and is very easy. Thank you for saving me from a long life of misery and giving her a new life with a complete loser :)

I love the option to set up "GeoFences". This feature allows me to receive alerts when tracking individual vehicles traveling in and out of a specific location/address that I want to monitor. I can create one specific "geofence" location and apply multiple Optimus tracking devices to that "Geofence". This is very helpful in the case of tracking several different vehicles traveling in and out of the same areas, without having to recreate the same "Geofence" multiple times.. With basic knowledge in using a computer, I think most would find it to be super easy to set up the device on the computer. I also downloaded the Optimus app on my smart phone. which allows me access all tracking info in real time, anytime I wish, to view activity or modify any of the many "geofences" that I created, and i can easily monitor the battery life from the app. The battery has lasted approximately 10 days and with having the Optimus app on my phone, I can plan a time that I can detach, recharge, and reattach the device to the vehicle, unnoticed.

Absolutely terrible. Do not buy. Accuracy of the actual GPS unit was not what I would expect out of a GPS tracker. Never seemed to ever be truly accurate. Battery life was good. Weatherproof case and magnets were garbage. Fell off the first month I had it and now it’s lost. Went to look for the actual GPS but couldn’t find it. Very disappointed that the case just fell off the car.

I really like this little gadget, it's been 2 weeks since I've had it and I'm very pleased with it. Battery life is great specially when you learn how to use it. Accuracy is good considering the area and other factors such as obstructions and maybe the distance/ target that you're monitoring. Reports are very detailed and accurate and easy to read and print. Overall so far I'm very happy with it and I'll buy it again if I need to.

This device is very awesome. I am very pleased by its software performance and is user friendly. The battery life is great. The device its self is sturdy plastic. The power button is a little small for my big fingers but thats fine. The only down fall is that the subscription of $19.95 a month is charged for each device registered and in use. I recommend that Optimus Tracking make that $19.95 a month subscription open for as many devices as one individual wants to register and use.

Just unpacked the box and very easy to get it ready ! Accuracy is amazing ! Friendly application , Even a beginner do not need any expert advice. The case is hardcase perfect choice !

I really needed this to work, and it does not. How can you have 100% gps signal for four hours, then lose it for an hour when the car is at the same place? It could have moved during that hour and I NEED TO KNOW. That was the point of this thing. Battery life is short, gps/cell signal is horrible and I know how to use one of these. It works great one day, horribly the next. Same car, same route. It's the device. Try someone else.

I am a licensed PI and have been in the business for over 23 years and I have seen technology change. The Optimus 2.0 is the best GPS service for accuracy, price, and customer service. They handle problems and work with you and is by far the easiest and best service on the market. The battery life is good. There are many settings to assist you. I have tried others and this service I own 6 devices if that tells you how much I believe in them. The price and service and the accuracy of the readings is why I would highly recommend them. I give them an A++ in service, customer service and ease of use. They are the best.

When we first got this it was great battery life , pin pointing where it is , and being able to see where it's been. After the first month it started sending me alerts for random places as we would drive by which was weird and then we finally got that to clear up for the most part and after the 3rd month its was greatly delayed we are still trying to work through the flaws cause we want this to work ... give it a try it's better than nothing

The device itself is great, but the Optimus App was very confusing and didn't seem to have what I needed. I returned mine and bought a spytec gps instead. I'm so glad I made the switch! I love everything about spytec's company. The app and website are very easy to use. The customer service is great also.

Product came in with GREAT instructions. Works amazingly well. Have two on two different cars. Quick and easy install. Geofences are accurate. Had to call tech support once (my error) the guy that answered was knowledgeable and fixed the issue in seconds, he even spoke clear English and followed up later. Life long customer here!!!

This is actually the third GPS tracker i have purchased. I returned the first one due to a short battery life, the second one was priced low, but difficult to use, having to install a SIM card, pay a separate company for the monthly billing.
I prefer one that is ready to go out of the box with minimal steps in the set up process. This tracker is extremely easy to use on both the app and desktop PC version. The battery life is very good. I have been using it for a week and half now without recharging it and i still have around 38% battery life left. So far no issues at all. I do wish the price of the monthly service as a little more competitive. I think $10-$15 would be fair opposed to $20. However, the gps is extremely accurate unlike the others i tried.

overall excellent. helped me discretely keep track of my children when they are driving. the app could be better. more pinpoint location on GPS. Battery lasts roughly 3 days and has to be charged overnight-only drawback. otherwise excellent and would recommend for someone who wants DISCRETE tracking. I placed this in the trunk next to spare tire. magnet attached to metal

This gadget is great. I am with a cheater so this let's me know where she is at all times. Old school USB charger but everything else is great. I can even see when she is speeding on the highway! Great price, simple install, I highly recommend this device.

Oh my God. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time. And for being in Southern California, it was pouring the first day I tried it. The battery lasted the entire week in rain, heavy rain everyday. And it rained every weekend for a month and works great.

Once the Battery dies this thing is useless. I doesn’t recharge at all using the adapter and cable that came with it. I’m pissed now because I missed my window of opportunity for the truth but this stupid device is at 11 percent and steadily dropping WHILE charging. Will be returning for a full REFUND

When I purchased this I had read that the battery would last a week but I was very pleased to find that when I put it on update every 10 min when in motion the battery actually lasted a week and a half before it died. It would update every 10 minutes so it did not give every street the vehicle drove down but it did show where it was and where it parked and how long it was parked for. It even tells you how fast the vehicle is moving. The magnet case kept it connected with two strong magnets. I would definitely recommend if you need to keep track of a vehicle.
