prints fast, clear pages, can duplex, fairly cheap. best option for a black and white printer. setting it up as a network printer was fairly easy, and I was able to set up printing in linux and windows without TOO much trouble.

Oki makes fine and reliable products. This unit, while not the quietest, is a Fast workhorse. The only thing it doesn't do well is print #10 envelopes. It curls and wrinkles them and sometimes even makes the envelope flap glue stick. Good buy though if you need to print a lot of text documents. I'm a bookkeeper and tax preparer so that means lots of laser printing.

I recently purchased this printer. When it arrived I noticed that it was not wireless. It can be connected directly to a network via an 10/100 Ethernet wired connection, or it can be connected to a computer by means of a USB 2.0 or parallel port. I subsequently checked the Okidata site and it does not imply that it is wireless so I guess this is an Amazon error.[Link to Okidata site deleted by Amazon]Select the Specifications tab.If it were not for this oversite I would have given the printer five stars.

Quality of printing seemed to be good out of the box. Hooking up on the network wasn't to difficult, works better with a assigned ip address.Had it on a dedicated line with protection but after a couple of months out of warranty it quite working. Yhink its the power supply.When you turn it on and off just a clicking sound cables all good tried different power.No help from the online and Okidata email, after it took 3 days to my eMail.Said try a new cable, plug into a different outlet. Did all that before contacting.So I am looking for another Brand of printer.I just hate these throw away ones that cost $750 as this one did.Any ideas on a more reliable one?LC

The printer works great, but for commercial use they never last forever. For the price it is worth replacing every year or two. OKIDATA is good about replacements within the first year.

can use it with LPT port and USB. If you get the Ethernet capable one you can have three different hookups to the same printer. Gotta love that!

The right Okidata part for the right Okidata printer. I usually like to stay with OEM parts, the other ones usually do not work as good.

this toner is nothing short of wonderful. it works when you plug it in. no problems at all. we're pleased with it!

Great price for a laser printer, though the toner cartridge replacements are pretty expensive. Odd that this cheaper model is BIGGER than the higher priced OKI laser printers. Works fine, though.

I have used this style printer before so I knew I was buying a great product. Fast and very cheap to run .

I have been involved with the publishing industry for many years, and have used many printers, but this is by far the best. It is sharp, clear, and fast, even when printing duplex pages.I plan on buying more of them for our offices, now that I've tried this one out at home.

The printer works great with Win XP, but not with Win 7. My older laptop computer can use this printer, which I resort to using to print blank checks. I have tried several times to get this printer working on Win 7, which is suppost to have this printer driver built-in, but it never works. :-(

First cartridge received was defective, it was leaving a 1/4 inch black line on the left side of every page. Fast to ship replacement cartridge! Can't say enought about this vendor!!!!

I purchased this printer after reading the 5 reviews. Worst mistake ever. Software drivers for Mac OSX were a disaster and printing from web pages and other aps. often had the prints going horizontal instead of vertical... consistent printing from misc. Apple application was simply a roll of the dice.Print jobs were laboriously slow to start and the printer often stopped - reporting paper jams that were non existent - opening and closing various doors and power resets were the only way to clear the error messages - toner cartridges are tiny, but expensive and I bought a 2,000 page cartridge that printed 200 pages at most with only a small amount of toner on each page....There has not be one session where this printer has run smoothly.... the only time it impresses is when it prints double sided - but on the Mac - there are no driver controls to manage this option....Am hugely disappointed.

The materials used in the manufacture of this printer are cheap. The feeder does not work as it should. Probably ok for home use, but running a small business with loading stationary and checks on a daily basis is not good a good fit for this printer. The first month has been shaky with spotting from the ink, jamming of the feeder, not being able to line up quickbook checks properly. Not a great buy when it does not perform.The problem with small business printers is the next level of printer is double or more of this price, but the time expended cursing the results is probably worth it.

We've been using this printer as the main printer in our small business and it works flawlessly. Not a single paper jam in thousands of pages printed. Perfect quality every time, and the toner seems to last forever. Great machine!

I sell lung testing equipment that needs an external printer. This Oki B410D does a great job of printing text and graphics at a good price. PCL5e works perfectly for me.

The printer is very fast for the price. Good print quality for text. Output doesn't stack neatly. Overall a very good printer for someone printing large volumes of text.

I bought this printer to serve a workgroup. It worked fine until I added the optional 500 page paper tray. When using the optional paper tray it misfeeds all of the time so, I finally discarded the optional paper tray, placed the printer in a lower duty area, and bought an HP printer where I needed multiple paper trays. The OKI works fine for limited use.

Always a good product and lasts a long time. We are very pleased and will reorder other colors as needed.

Let me say this machine works 5/5 stars with win7 64 bit mode. However this machine is a 1/5 stars with OS XHere is the list of problems with the printer and OS X using the network to print.Does not "wake-up" from sleep mode.Does not print simple charts (print as a black box).Does not print in landscape modeAfter 101 pages machine generates a script error and crashes.Multiple print jobs cause the machine to generate script error.Eight emails, 2 phone calls (40+ minutes each) and still no resolution.If the printer is used with OS X USB it works fine. In network mode all of the problems exist

It takes two or three copies normal after that it becomes more dark and dark.I would not suggest this one to anybody.

This is a clean crisp super fast printer. I relied on the amazon reviews when I bought this product. IT IS AWESOME... You wont go wrong!
