I purchased this phone with the understanding that it would work but after numerous tries and two calls to Verizon Customer Service I had to return the phone.

The phone is overheating. Added to that, it has to be charged very often, like every 2 hours or so. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me how this situation can be rectified. Can I have it returned and/or replaced? Please advise me soonest.

The original box is unsealed, and it is old and broken. However, lumia 900 is great and I am a big fan of nokia. I like the WP7 although it can not upgrade to 8, but I think it is enough for me to use it.

Coming from an HTC Trophy on Verizon, i have already had experience with Windows Phone. I love the OS and feel it brings a lot of new ideas to how a smartphone should operate.The phone is incredibly fast, feels great, and looks incredible. The brightness of the screen in the daylight is the best on any smartphones i've owned by far.My wife switched from a Droid and has had this phone for about 4 days and she loves it as well. The biggest thing for her is getting use to the Windows Phone OS, as she came from a droid. So far it has been very easy for her, and she hasn't had to ask me too many questions.If i had to pick a con for this phone, it would be the 8MP camera. It takes great pictures in good lighting, but isn't that great in darker settings. The auto-adjust feature works well, it takes nice pictures, but it isn't the best camera on a smartphone that there is.

I must say that I was a long time iPhone user (~ 4 years) and pretty happy with it. But it kind of starting boring and same UI since 2007. So whenever I went to at&t store, I tried Windows Phone. Initially I hated the live tiles and complained about so much wasted space. Android was out of the equation, so wasn't even thinking about it.I finally made up my mind and got my lumia 900, I must says that I started loving it every bit. There are still few quirks but overall I like the simple interface, its fast (who needs quad core). Here are the few things I don't like1) Wish google opens up there YouTube api to get native WP app. Talk about "Don't be evil" mantra :)2) Back button sometimes gets stuck.3) More quality apps.

My Nokia C2-01 has a more powerful 1020 mAh battery and benefits greatly from a more powerful charger. The charger supplied with this phone is only 350 mA. The Nokia AC-10U charger supplies 1200 mA and has a microUSB connector and the tag on the cord says it may take 4 hours to charge extended batteries. I think this refers to batteries on Android smart phones, not my simple, mostly voice phone which charges in an hour or less. This charger is also usable on my SanDisk MP3 player and SanDisk recommends the use of more powerful chargers rather than the computer USB to microUSB cord. The MP3 player charges in 1/2 hour. The AC-10U is specified to work with 100-240 volts AC, so will work in Europe with a pin adapter, of course.

Okay, my wife and I moved into the latest smartphone by getting me this phone and her an IPhone4S. We have shared phone and talked about our overall favorite.The winner is the Nokia Lumia 900, hands down. Screen size, camera, WindowsMobile all are awesome. I love customizing my tiles and am surprised that there is always an app when I am looking for one. The new look for windows apps is very nice and uses space well.The only con is that because it is larger and I have a case-mate shell on it, I can't seem to find a leather case for my belt. I called the ATT store and they said they may have one thaat fits it with the case on.I have had it almost a month and it has never slowed down, crashed, etc. Do yourself a favor and get this phone!

Excellent in every way. Camera is top notch ... sound is awesome ... Symbian works without a hitch. Forget about the reviews from people that think they know it all and have to find fault with a product to make themselves feel important and intelligent. The Nokia 808 is a great phone /camera with an older OS which has learned from its mistakes.

I had a privilege to quickly test the Pureview 808 in a local bar (friend had it already, he is a Nokia employee)), and the Pureview indeed produced amazingly good(!!!) pictures in that somewhat low-light bar condition. Compared to my iPhone at the same time, iPhone's pictures had much, much more noise and iPhone's pictures were not clearly as sharp as Pureview's.Based on some example 1080p video recordings on the Internet (video recordings made using the Pureview), Pureview indeed seem to produce extremely good video quality as well.I have put an order in already, hopefully I will get this phone fast :D

This product not only came fast, it came ready to use. All parts worked great. I LOVE my new windows phone!!! I was even able to get it unlocked by calling ATT so don't let that stop you from buying!!!!

It's a good product, and I particularly like the grip texture on the sides. I also like that it covers the silvery strip on the back and only has an opening for the lens itself and LED flash, and it covers the SIM door, offering better protection than other cases I have. The only thing I would change is to extend the lip on the top and bottom. It's enough to hold the case on just fine, but I'd prefer if the lip went all the way to the screen. (just a personal peeve) I definitely recommend it. My phone is white and I was leery about buying a black case, but the contrast looks rather good imho.

I just got my phone yesterday and have been playing with it since. I had a windows mobile phone about two years ago and it was horrible and needed constant reboot. Been using Iphone (3GS & 4S) and Atrix before I got this lumia 900. The new windows phone 7.5 OS has improved so much since my experience with windows mobile. It's fast and smooth and working great without bugs so far!! Love having MS office on my phone.The lumia phone feels and looks more premium than those plasticky phones. It was easy to set up and to update through my laptop. Camera loads up fast and takes decent pictures in low lighting. Call quality is great. I'm getting 3 to 4 bars in my building at work where I normally get about 2 bars with my other phones. Love the screen size and the bright colors. Only wish it would come with headphones.

This is a jewel of a camera, that happens to also make phone calls. Now, I could always carry a world class camera in my pocket, wherever I go. The quality of the images taken with this camera is simply amazing!

I switched over from my iPhone 4 (not s) and I must say that I like this phone so far.Here are some random pros/cons.Pros:- Fast and smooth... and good looking, got mine in Black.- Offline navigation/map available via Nokia maps. Meaning I can go anywhere in the world and not have to worry about data! This is awesome!- Fast network in my area, including using my phone as a hotspot.- I like the active tiles, I don't have to launch the app to see what happened.- Screen looks good in/outdoors.- Speaker sounds really sharp.Neutral:- Camera, same as my iPhone 4. All smartphone cameras need a boost in quality.Cons:- Resolution could be higher.- Good amount of apps/games, but hopefully many more are on the way.- Charge it from the top, not great for a dock, but screen does orientate.All in all, for $100... or $0 for me... it's a steal, in my opinion.

I got the phone from Amazon wireless 1 week ago and I like it more and more.Pros: 1. Solid build (totally Nokia style) 2. Nice interface, at least I feel happy when using it. 3. Fast speed. Very smooth when opening apps and browsing webpage. 4. A lot of free apps. I downloaded 30+ useful apps, all free. And the built-in Nokia drive and transit are very useful to me. 5. Satisfactory battery life (1-2 days normal use). 6. Price (really, Nokia gave me money for having it).Cons: 1. Apps are a bit less. I know Windows Phone has 80k+ apps in total. But still, popular apps like Paypal and Draw Something etc. are missing. I really hope I can have those popular apps on my phone.Overall I think it is a great phone. And I am impressed by the good faith from Nokia/Microsoft. Get one when it is still cheap :D

Do not purchase a Lumia 900 if you have any interest in the Windows Phone 8 release scheduled for this fall. Microsoft announced that neither the Nokia Lumia 710 or 900 will be able to be upgraded to their newest phone OS platform. Those of us that bought into the Microsoft/Nokia hype as early adopters of the Lumia have gotten screwed. Don't join our ranks. Either buy a hardware platform that will upgrade, (perhaps Samsung?), or go with another OS platform. I sincerely believe the Windows Phone OS platform is the best of the big 3, but this recent decision by Microsoft/Nokia just sucks.

I must say I'm super happy with the Lumia 900! Thanks Microsoft and Nokia for putting out a kicks ass phone!I was initially a bit worried that the size would be too big or cumbersome, but after using it a few weeks, I've had zero problems. Fits in my pocket just fine, very comfortable and probably the greatest screen out there for videos, games and apps!Battery life last has been about two days they way I use it (texting, some gaming, plenty of People Hub activity, daily various app use and probably a hour of music playing each day).People Hub is the best way to connect through Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. I haven't noticed any apps I need that aren't there.As a gamer - I love getting Xbox gamer points (Puzzle Quest 2, Angry Birds and Plants v. Zombies are my go to games).Great phone. Seriously check it out!

I have to say this phone and the WP7.5 are just hands down the best thing now. My wife has a iPhone and took a small test drive on mine and came out confessign that she would have swtiched to this. The phone is sleek, works flawlessley and the OS is neat. I have the apps I need - and this is an area that is only going to get better. I really didnt care that that there are millions of apps - whats the point in having 1000s of apps that are crappy anhyways. I have used BB for 12 yrs and so from a corporate email/phone/apps perspective this will be the king. iPhone is for kiddies who like to play stupid games all day.

Just received the Nokia Lumia 900. Thankyou to iPhone and Android for forcing Microsoft to improve again. The phone is a little big and a little heavy but works great. I had no trouble activating on AT&T and getting things customized to my taste. The metro style start page is easy to use with the touch screen. Ok, the graphics are not the best but work fine for me, it only has 16 GB of memory but I don't watch movies on my phone. Here is the real joy of Windows Phone 7.5 - it has Microsoft Office built in. No more $10 add-on apps that don't work as well as the real thing. It includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OneNote. It synced with my SkyDrive in less than 1 hour and everything works. My phone can be used as my office. I just have one recommendation - think folders to shorten the start page and app list (apple did).

Coming from an HTC Trophy, I knew what to expect from the Windows Phone OS -- a solid, capable operating system that filled my needs and seldom ever slowed me down (which was a significant improvement coming from Android!).What I wasn't expecting is how much better Windows Phone 7.5 looks and feels on top-of-the line hardware. The Lumia's screen is super crisp and bright, bringing new life to Windows' tiles. The deep blacks meet your main screen tiles feel like they're almost floating in ear, and provided a more dramatic feel to the OS.The body of the device is something special too. I opted for the Cyan version because I'm bored with the cookie-cutter black or white options of most phones. The cyan has a futuristic feel about it, allowing the Lumia 900 to stand out as something different.Highly recommend for both look and feel.

bought a black and a cyan.perfect integration with Outlook exchange server. the scheduled calendar appointments from work and all other work realted stuff got automatically pushed over.World wide turn by turn nav/drive direction. We can download any international city map for this free service, great for international travel. Then you can just delete the map to release the space or to reload for map updating.Bing visual search, aim at a foreign language sign, then immediately English translation show up.Native remote desk top connection apps to any PC and windows servers. great for any IT person or .Net server programmer to work on windows web server (which hold the biggest enterprise web server market) on the go.

Fantastic phone!Pros - extremely fast OS (going from one task to another is a breeze) and fast internet speeds; great texting; complete social integration (Facebook, Twitter, etc..) onto one platform (no need to check each account); beautiful interface, especially if you're tired of the same-old same-old iPhone look or generic Droid look - sticks out like no other! More apps available then you'll ever use, and whatever major apps are missing (eg Pandora) will come out soon enough...Cons - lack of customization available on Droid...So impressed! Microsoft still has some punch and can deliver a seamless and beautiful product!

Just love my new phone. Granted, it took me a day or so to get used to the design and simplicity and I still love my Samsung Galaxy, but this is a new era in mobile OS development and I am seriously digging the flagship product. I ditched Nokia years ago when they all but disappeard from the US market. After having several unlocked Nokia phones, I finally moved onto Android as soon as I could and left Symbian behind, never to look at it again (Nokia 3630, N75, N80,N85 and N75). I thought i'd never be able to enjoy another piece of fine "phonemanship" and boy was I wrong :-) But enough about my new phone. If you are in the market for a new phone or due for an upgrade, check it out. It's worth it. So far i am missinga single app (SMS backup and restore) but I think the vendors are already looking into it.
