I wish i could get the phone itself 4.5 out of 5, but I still don't think the phone is worthy of 5/5 so 4 it is. But i moved to this phone from the Samsung Focus S, and i always hated how cheap the phones felt. This has a lot more heft to it, so it was a little jarring at first, but now after having it for an extended period of time (placed my order on April 20th), i'm really liking the weight of the device.I really love the construction of the phone, it doesn't feel cheap at all, and even though it's plastic (polycarbonate) it still feels like a premium device. I've taken some pictures, and though i wish the sensor was as good as the Focus S (i don't think it's as good) and more importantly back-lit, i think it's good enough that it wont be a big issue for me.LTE is great, if you can get it, and the Nokia apps that are available are hands down the best out of all OEMs (HTC, Samsung, etc). You'd honestly be crazy to get anything other than a nokia right now, regardless or carrier or price range.

I carry this in my van for emergency calls only. Almost never used and that makes me think that the battery drain is a little high. And that is why I replaced the older battery.

I recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want to be sucked into a contract extension by att. The price offered in Amazon is a lot lower than what you would pay for the same phone at att retail shop (without contract). The seller delivered the product promptly and the product was in great condition.

All accessories attached were not original. The computer connection did not work and the headphone and mic are so bad.The telephone freezes if you try to work with it while charging. The charger is not original either.

This is a good quality cable. I note there is a 2009 review stating it is poor quality and complaining that a plastic base broke. Apparently the cable has been significantlyupgraded since then since it is a good quality cable and the connectors at each end are covered by the same rubbery material used for the cable.I initially purchased this to put louder ringtones on my Nokia 6085, but will be using it for more in the future because it is so easy to use. One end connects to the fitting at the bottom endof the phone and the other plugs into a USB port on the computer.The cable is branded Nokia which is a good sign because the company is not likely to put its name on a cheap knock off.

Watch out for cheep batteries. Many complain about used batteries being sold.Sellers claim to test batteries prior to sale, but its a lie. Testing does not create marks on contacts.MAKE SURE battery contacts had no marks on them and are solid golden color. Otherwise they are used.

I'm not much of a power user when it comes to phones. However, I do use it to somewhat most of its capabilities. Initially starting off with an iphone for its simplicity, I opted for an Android for the more customizability. After using these different mobile OSs, some glaring issues pop out, namely the OSs being on the extremes of simplicity and customizability. For my own personal uses, the Windows Phone OS fits a happy median between the other OSs. With Palm being out of the picture, there are no other major competitors that fill that middle ground.As for the hardware itself, the phone is sleek and simple. It is bigger than I expected, being larger than any previous phone I've owned. Although its a single core, it performs like a champ and I haven't had any issues with crashes or freezes. From a moderate user's standpoint, the OS and phone is visually appealing while being aesthetically and operationally simple. If you're tired of iphones and androids, take a stroll with a Windows Phone, particularly the Lumia 900 and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

item was delivered on schedule .item was in good shape and functional.touch screen sensitive enough.the only minus is there was a minor scratch on the screen and the screen had no plastic cover which every new product should

Personal Review. This phone its a lot more faster and best looking then my old windows phone. Samsung focus. It was really hard for me to choose between HTC Titan ii or Samsung Galaxy note with android. I check different of reviews all over the internet and almost everyone said the same thing A phone to be own. I ordered 2 days after i was already playing with it. The screen its the same size its amazing, the darker color make color to look more attractive. One review said that some picture were yellowish and that's true depending on the led flash, but better picture quality then the iphone.Only one bad thing about my package, I got it and there was no sim Card. I call att we try to activate with same Sim from old phone. The sim got locked they told me to get a LTE Micro Sim from any att store, but i live on a freaking island. We only have a Radio shack and they dont even have LTE Sims in there. Had to wait till a friend send me not just 1 but 2 from att retail store under my name. Really bad experience switching to 4g LTE. well now its up and working after few days. LOL

Nokia read my mind! I travel a lot & like to pack light. I usually just took photos with my phone because i didn't want to carry both camera and a phone- and phone always seems more a essential. No more crappy pics of cool places! Thanks NOKIA!!!

I am a phone fanatic. Thank god I am in the Telecom industry and don't have to pay for most of my phones. In the past year alone I have used an iPhone 4, Samsung Focus, HTC Inspire 4G Samsung, Infuse 4G, Samsung Skyrocket, and Galaxy Nexus. I laid down the $99 for this phone for me and my wife, and we could not be happier about doing it. I had some reservations moving over to Windows Phone based on my early experience with the Focus - man have things changed. I love how solid the hardware feels in your hand and how integrated WP7.5 really is. The voice actions over bluetooth (read texts to you, reply to messages, call contacts - all over bluetooth) is absolutely amazing. Regarding the Marketplace - I am not missing 1 single app from Android and now have over 50 apps on my phone. If I could find one gripe, it would be that the vibrate sounds loose in the phone, but my wife's is fine. I have to say Thank You Microsoft and Thank you Nokia for such a wonderful experience. I truly believe that this phone is the launching point for Windows Phone. Well done!

The thing that struck me about the Nokia Lumia 900 was how solid it feels in your hand. A real quality product, weighty but not so heavy that it's fatiguing. It just looks great and not cookie cutter like the others. I have had no experience with Windows Phone before so I was a little nervous but once again, i am gobsmacked at how silky smooth, how intuitive and convenient the whole OS works. I am not constantly burying my head looking at apps to give me the information I want. Everything is right there in front of me and it's almost lifelike as the tiles seemingly move on their own. Also, battery life? No contest I can go a couple of days on the same charge. Definitely can last me a whole day. I couldn't say that about my Samsung Captivate.I guess in short the whole user experience with the Nokia has been a real joy. Excellent job Nokia, you keep producing great products like this and i will definitely come back. But not until i get my fill of the Lumia 900...love this thing!

I have 20+ years working IT and am currently a System Engineer for a software company. I have owned a smart phone since the inception and have used and supported all types. I have had all iPhones recently and bought this WP 7 on my upgrade because I liked the Windows 8 consumer preview so much. Let me say at least twice the battery usage compared to the iPhone. The display blows away the 4S, the camera is equal or better. I love the controls having no problem with their location. The media has already attacked the phone for these issues. The phone runs cooler and is way faster. Most of the reviews I have read by the so called experts are not even close to being accurate. The only negative I can even think of is that yes there are less applications available RIGHT NOW. The apps that are available are quality apps. 98% of the apple apps are crap anyways. I use my phone as a tool and not a toy so maybe the lack of apps doesn't bother me as much. The Office apps and Sky Drive are incredible and FREE. 25GB FREE space. You never have to worry about loosing any pics or docs.

Great phone!I received it last week, and it had a problem with the the bottom-right button being over sensitive. I read some comments on forums and found out that other people had the same problem. They returned the phone, got a new one, and no more problems.That is exactly what happened to me. I called Amazon Wireless and they sent me a new (next day) and it's perfect!Great design, super fast, marketplace is good (has all the apps I need) and the integration with Skydrive is just great! I use OneNote a lot and also I can see all my Office files at anytime, without formatting changes.I had and iPhone for a couple of years, and it was time to upgrade since the camera glass was cracked.With the Nokia discount, plus Amazon Wireless discount, I ended up paying $10 with a 2 year agreement. (no brainer)I'm glad I chose the Lumia 900.and Amazon Wireless customer service is also great!!

Starting with the first generation Samsung, I felt the OS was designed based on how a phone fits into my lifestyle. Instead of independent applications, the hubs let me focus on people. If I want to share a picture, I focus on the picture, then where I want to share is just a part of viewing the picture. Likewise with people.After four days with my Nokia Lumia, I feel like the hardware is as elegant as the OS. Yes - I got hit with the data connection bug today. Yes - it was annoying. But the Nokia response was impressive and quick. And it doesn't take away from the excellent experience I've enjoyed.I also want to encourage people to consider the Zune pass. It is a hidden gem that Microsoft hasn't advertised much at all. The integration with the phone is fantastic. It's allowed me to expand my range of music and I *love* the ability to download and play music offline. I just cancelled XM Radio today because I can get music, video, and podcasts on my phone for less per month.I'm off this afternoon is search of one for my wife...I'm definately a WP fanboy now.

It's a fine case, just not enough protection I believe for these newer, bigger screened phones. I dropped my phone from about three feet above the ground and my screen shattered.
