Old school
Love it! Mostly because my teen daughter hates it!
After getting into trouble, I confiscated her smart phone but I needed a way to contact her when I was at work so... I was looking for a basic phone and I found it with this.
No camera. No apps. No fuss. Daughter says it's small and uncomfortable to hold and text box fills to quickly. (Then she didn't realise it saves sent messages aswell as received messages). She says phone calls aren't as clear, even on loud speaker. She does love the three games included into it x

Bought this phone for my dad. It is simple to use as he would not be able to understand the smart phones. He is able to make and receive calls. The ringtones are nice and load so he is able to hear the phone when it rings

Nice phone for my son who is school lone traveler. I contact him many times until he gets home. It has good signal however sometimes it shows ‘no sim’. Then We have to take the battery out and move the SIM card until it works again

A true old-skool, simple phone
If you like this type of phone, don't want an internet/computerised one or prefer to use a laptop for internet connection, then this is for you.
My old one finally wore out (or at least the buttons did - the phone still worked fine) after about 15 years use and as I have a laptop and prefer to use that for internet connection, in the privacy of my own home, I needed a like-for-like replacement for my old Nokia. This is perfect - almost exactly like my old one except that the buttons are in different places, which didn't take too much getting used to, even for an oldie!
All I did was swap the SIM card from my old phone to the new, got someone to ring me to confirm the number had stayed the same and left it to charge for an hour - that's it - ready to go!
I did try to register my swipe card to it using the SIM card options but it wasn't having any of it because they aren't really a thing anymore so next time I need some credit, I'll just get a voucher from Tesco - simple as!

Simple 2G phone, does the job
Just needed a simple phone with a standard female mini-jack to enable me to connect a headset to do callcentre work from home (most current smartphones only have a USB port which isn't suitable for my headset). This little mobile is a very cheap solution that works perfectly.
Battery life would be extremely poor for constant repeated calls (just a few hours at most) if not for leaving the charging cable permanently connected, which is not a problem for me in my home office.
For general use I would probably recommend to spend more and get something better, but for those on a very tight budget then I'm sure it's perfectly suitable for the function at the price, and is comparable to the average mobile phone most of us were using without complaint 25 years ago.
I feel old.

Works well and pleased with it but it is not a 3G phone. The description says it is a 3g phone but is not. If you buy this phone in the UK, currently Giffgaff provides 2g network support. Please change the product description.

Defaulted to t-mobile
I had a Nokia 105 till recently . The one i brought here appeared the same. It says sim free and feature. Usually something unwanted or suspicious. It now provides much the same less than wanted novelty games,and a more problematic pattern of superfluous navigation options. (a reason for not wanting a smart phone) .
The main thing for me was that my 1pmobile sim which i put in the new Nokia is interpreted as t-Mobile. Whether i set network selection to manual or Automatic. 1pmobile Sent a refresh sim signal but the phones search still only finds t-mobile.

Solid phone
Bought this as a starter phone for my 8 year old mainly for when he's out so I can contact him. Great little phone , can drop it a million times way more durable than any smart phone. Great if you want a phone for just the basics. Long battery life. Button phone. Few games on it aswel. Comes with charger and phone.

Almost unusable
If you're looking for a phone that does calls and texts, then OK technically yes. Calls themselves, fine. But navigating and texting are a disaster. The multifunction navigation button is almost unusable, not just for a bloke with big hands, but also for dainty hands as well. Seriously, it's so fiddly you can almost never press the middle of the button without pressing one side or other as well.
Add to that, that the SMS functionality is in no way threaded or 'chat' like, and the list doesn't give you any clue which message you're about to look at, so it's really hard to read a bunch of messages in order.
Typing is a pain, there's no semi-intelligent predictive text that even the old Nokias of the day had, it's just the repeated pressing of the buttons, and then waiting if you need the same letter again - even the navi key won't help you speed up, it just sends the cursor back the start!
The alarm isn't loud enough, and it loses the alarm setting after it's gone off once.
Only good point is battery life.

A basic mobile phone with one glaring flaw
It does exactly what I need a basic phone to do. However the main cursor/select button is incredibly vague and unpredictable to use. At least half the time, you end up moving instead of selecting, or vice versa.
Fix that, and you have a perfectly decent mobile but as it is, I can see older users buying what seems like a simplified device, and getting in a horrible muddle with that one, most important, button's total lack of precision.

It is light but sound does not work well
It does not catch signal well. keys do not work well.
Suddenly resetted and asking sim pin after 6months. Text works well though. But generally it is actually not very usable. I would buy 5310 instead.
