Was looking for a wii game for the whole family , was just what I was thinking the price was right, my family enjoys the matching , I enjoy the shooting gallery , overall is hours of fun , you can use you mii players , and that makes my 5 year old happy

The product described on website as "Backwards Compatible With All Nintendo GameCube Games". This item does not have gamecube compatibility and thus missing the top connectors which are required for some Wii devices. The item shipped is actually the newer and cheaper ($129) console. I bought it from EverythingDeals and will be returning it.

(kid's review) It's fun, action filled, and we love it. Although my brother and I don't really like the split screens, it's still a really fun game. I like that all of the DC superheroes are in this game, and I like that the characters talk. I also like that Superman can fly. I think you will all love this game.

The product works great and I have had no problems with it.
However, I did not receive all the wires that should have come with it. It was missing the tri-colored cord that connects it to my TV? I haven't been able to find one yet??

So here is my review for this wii. I love the wii, but i wish i had sent it back for the older wii. The older wii is gamecube compatible and u can play dance dance revolution on the older one. U cannot do those things with the new wii. This wii.

We borrowed our neighbors Wii game and my son just had to have his own. Both kids love playing the tank game together. Together - that's the best.

This game is entertaining and has funny scenes. My son loves playing this game. There are fight scenes and some acts of aggression towards other characters. I do not recommend it for kids under 12.

There is a reason why I do not buy non-Nintendo parts. They are cheap and poor quality. This part, however, is NOT any of that. It works and is made with quality. Don't waste your money anywhere else and buy this.

We are happy with our wii, but so disappointed that we cannot play our gamecube games on it. I called customer support and they said any new wii with a serial number that starts with "KU" is no longer compatible with gamecube. The older wii consoles could play those games with the gamecube remotes plugged into ports on the side.
I might have bought a used one had I known that!

i got this for the 480p resolution because the standard WII 480i resolution is awful. . my WII won't output a 16x9 signal through this cable. its going back.

We bought this Wii at Walmart for 20.00 less. We're older and not much into games. My grown kids and grandson enjoy the games.We like it because it's easy to set up. And it works w/ HuluPlus, Netflix and Amazon Prime! No more commercials and cable for us!

This console was a present to my wife and myself. We don't have kids but we sure feel like we are kids again when we play the Wii. So much fun, user-friendly controllers and menu. Great games of all genres to choose from. Not interested in buying the Wii U as I feel it is just a hot accessory. I am very happy with just the basic Wii console.

My daughter wanted this game as a gift, it came new and unopened. I have not heard anything bad about it so it must be playing fine!

We were late adopters to the Wii as our kids are quite young. But we're so happy to be in the game now, we love this gaming system. The games are age appropriate for our small children ranging in age from 5-7. We have family bowling night, golf outings, ping-pong games, etc. So much fun for all of us. We're really enjoying our time together as a family.

I've had my Wii for about four years now. It was 250 when I bought it. It seemed a little steep at the time, but fortunately the price has fallen considerably. With that in mind, I'd recommend the Wii to anyone and everyone. It's good fun for the price.
As most surely know by now, the Wii makes use of motion controls. I won't beat around the bush: Waggling your remote around can be both tedious and annoying on some games. But fortunately, there are enough games that use normal control schemes. The Wii Remote is often flipped horizontally and implemented as if it was a NES controller. Also, they make a Classic Controller attachment for the Wii Remote (sold separately). With that add-on, you can play quite a few Wii games with SNES-styled dual analog controller.
There aren't many graphical masterpieces on the Wii. People often say that its graphics aren't very different from those present on the N64, but this isn't exactly true. The Wii's image quality really is a lot sharper than most of the games present on that system. But since we can make some comparisons with a system released almost seventeen years ago, the Wii obviously can't compete with graphically with its HD competition.
The Wii has some online functionality. It doesn't have a social network implemented in the same way the Xbox 360 and the PS3 do, but it does have a Wii Friend code system for playing with people you know. Many games implement online multiplayers. You can also download and purchase video games from Nintendo through the Wii Shop Channel. In additional to all that, you can even browse the web from your console. But unfortunately, the web browser is pretty terrible in terms of functionality.
That's pretty much all I can say about the Wii, except this one additional thing: You can get a Wii through Amazon for as little as 70 bucks now. If you don't have a game console and are looking for a good form of entertainment, why not pick up a Wii? Most of the second and third party games are really cheap now too. The Wii is probably worth 150 bucks new, and its a downright steal for the price you can get it at used.

This game is super fun. It incorporates new races with some favorite races from past versions of Mario Kart. Get friends together and have some friendly competition!
