This is so much fun. I have wanted a ds since they 1st came out. I finally got one and I bought the package of the limited edition ice blue with the brain age game. We have 5 people in the house and we have to fight to get to use it. It has improved my brain function in less than 2 months. My 6, 7, and 8 year old children even love it. I also bought the brain age 2 game. It seeems to be a little harder than the first. But it has an extra mini game hidden in the training section. Both games get a little nerve racking reading what the dr says, but it can be sped up.

I have no experience with any of the electronic games, but thought it would be a good way to keep my mind active. This was almost the perfect package for an adult; the only thing better would have been a coordinated bag of sorts, such as a shoulder bag or back pack. The case and game are very attractive and the game is fun. I plan to acquire a few more.

I bought this DS and game bundle for my daughter. At first she seems not interested in the game but the more she played the more fun she has.Now she is asking for more Brain game like this one. About the game console : the screen is very clear and bright.This package is the best holiday gift for my daughter so far and price is reasonable.HN

I purchased this Nintendo DS and game for my 4-year-old grandaughter and she is totally in love with it!!! She plays with it constantly. The Brain Age game was too advanced for her so I substituted it with a Dora game and kept the Brain Age for my older kids. My 9, 10 and 11-year-olds all have DS's and they are constantly playing with them! Great purchase!

My husband grabbed this for me as an early Christmas gift. I'm addicted to Brain Age (which is the FULL game!) While visiting my Mom she fell in love too & said she's going to get one. The case it comes with is just to CHA-CHA for words; holds 3 games & an extra stylus. I'm typically a "pink" kinda gal but I have to say this color is just too amazingly beautiful. The images don't do it any justice.Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!!

The description says, "World traveler (100-240V). The innovative travel charger automatically adjusts to all voltages and frequencies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia," but in fact this power adapter only works with US voltage (110V). If you do plug into 240V you'll let the magic smoke out.

I have not found this color is any store, only online. It's nice having a different color than everyone else. The game is fun, well not fun when your brain age is 67. Very rewarding to get it down tho. I would recommend this to my friends.

Love the ease of use for the Nintendo DS. Some of the games are not as user friendly. Purchased this as a gift for daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Our whole family took turns playing with it and all enjoyed the many different games.

I have never used the Nintendo DS Lite before, but found it to be easier than I expected. The Brain Age game is really interesting and fun. It is a challenge and I think it will be helpful brain training. The case protects it all. I plan on trying other games.

Bought one for mom, one for dad, and one for my 85 year old grandmother for Christmas. They all love it! Grandma only wishes they had all the original mario brothers!! Super easy to use, quick set up, easy enough for my 85 year old grandma to understand and use!!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Brain Age is a cool game but it takes forever to do anything cause the guy talks way to much. Other than that, great game and game system.

I ordered an international adapter i.e. 120-240V, as mentioned on the website. But today when I got the package, it says it supports only 120V and there is no mention of international voltage support.

Since this is exactly the same charger you get with the Lite, it's a great back up for your other one. I thought I left mine at work and it got trashed or stolen, so I ordered a new one. Well now I got 2 of them since I found the other one stuffed in a pocket in my bag. I couldnt tell ya which is which now since they both work exactly the same. Why settle for a cheaper brand that could break or not even work. Stick with this one if you really need to get another charger.I also like how the prongs fold in so they arent sticking out when you are traveling with it.This does not work with the old DS, just the Lite.

I've read some reviews on Amazona and CNET lists as a drawback of the game its tendency to draw swirls and surface scratches. Just let me say that's not really a terrible problem. I just thought I'd share how to remove scratches from the glossy surface of the Nintendo DS Lite games. I refinish guitars, so I know quite a few tricks with plastic (for pickguards). I recently bought a used DS Lite (glossy black) for my son from Ebay. It had a bunch of surface scratches, swirls and one nasty scuff (must have been dropped/slid on the floor!). My son was quite distraught, but I wasn't. The nice shining finish might look fragile and daunting to touch but it's not. You just need to use auto rubbing compound on the DS Lite (light or dark) to remove scratches and swirls. I use Turtle Wax Premium Grade Rubbing Compound ($6-7), but you could use Meguires, or any other one easily found at auto stores. Just make sure its a good quality, liquid fine grit compound. You simply get a soft cloth and rub the swirls/scuff/minor scratches with the rubbing compound. I apply it and rub it without letting the compound dry, it works faster that way. It took me about 8 seconds to remove what looked like a bad permanent scuff and have the unit shine again like new. I also removed all the swirls in about a minutes time. Very simple and safe! I do this all the time with guitar pickguard to restore them. Cheers!

This AC Adapter for the Nintendo DS Lite is identical to the one that comes included with the game system.One nice feature is that the prongs of the plug swivel in and out. This means that, when folded in, the unit is fairly thin and easy to store. It seems well made and sturdy, even with the moving part.

Nintendo has been very successful with their video games for several years. Although their time with their home console system the Gamecube, seems to be winding down, amny people are still enjoying the success of Nintendo's handheld, the DS system. Earlier this year, the company redesigned the DS to a smaller compact editon, the DS Lite, which is just as delightful, and easy to play as the original DS. Unfortunately, the design only came into one particular color, a simple white. Well, now they are going to make the world of black come around the DS Lite.The Nintendo DS Lite in a dark Onyz Black, is a sleek and stylish way of bringing your gaming on the go. Like the original DS system, you have the portability of original DS games, as well as the compatability of Game Boy Advance games too like Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Brothers 3, and Dr. Sudoku. There are also so many great DS games that are highlighted even better than ever on this system from the fast & the furious racing action of Mario Kart DS, to puzzling brain teasers including the popular Brain Age and Big Brain Academy. The system also comes with a stylus which is a bit bigger than the original ones for the original Nintendo DS, but works like a glove, and has a recharageble battery that lasts as long as before. The system handles comfortably and it is easier to play games from before, with the repositioned controls, and sound.All in all, if you're a fan of video games, you have many different choices from the PSP, to the upcoming Nintendo Wii. Since I purchased the DS four months ago, I have gone through two of these AC adapters. The quality of the wire is absolutely wretched. You have to treat it like glass. I say this coming from the perspective of working and traveling with all kinds of wire adapters and chargers. Never have I had this problem with any other kind of electrical wire or cord. I haven't done anything to these wires but pack, transport, and unpack them, and somehow the insulator and the internal wires in the cord get ripped open. Nintendo ought to be ashamed for churning out such poor design. They need to make a better, more rugged adapter. Unfortunately I have not seen any alternative out there.EDIT:I have since found two third party chargers for the DS: one USB Nintendo DS Lite USB In Car Adapter and one a much more substantial AC adaptor Nintendo DS Lite Universal Home Power. I haven't had a single problem with either of them in the last year and a half. They are of fantastic quality.Don't buy Nintendo's brand as a replacement. Go for the heavy duty Nintendo DS Lite Universal Home Power instead.

I am happy that I do not have to search high and low for a replacement charger. My dog often eats the cord on my chargers. This is the nintendo brand one which is nice. It is only good for the lite. That is kind of sad. At least though there is no pieces to loose. It folds up flat for easy storage. I never worry about the prongs getting damaged.

About a month ago, I decided to purchase my first game system since the origional NES. I got the DS, and I must say I love it. Somehow, they have found an idea that seemed to only be a gimmick (the dual screens) and turn it into something new and fun. So far, I have bought New Super Mario Brothers, Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Mario Kart, and a Japan-English dictionary program (my main justification for buying it in the first place). It is a great way to kill 5 min. or kill a few hours. Once you get used to using the stylus, it becomes very natural.Pros:-Fun games for all skill levels-Nice styling-Wireless connectivity-Multiple people can play the same game off of one card-Bright screen with good graphics-nice sound-long battery lifeCons:-It fits a little awkwardly in my hands-You must buy a screen protector (the stylus can scratch up the lower screen pretty badly)-In some games, the stylus blocks your view of different sections of the screen-The Onyx Black looks cool, but it gets extremely smudged up with finger printsOverall:The cons are nothing compared with the pros. I highly recommend it.

When my daughter left her adapter that came with her DS in a hotel, we ordered her a new one from Amazon. It was here in only a week, Got her up and running again fast.
