I am only reviewing the lime green Spring Bundle, not the DS Lite itself or the game. This bundle has a DS Lite just like any other, except it's radiative green. I was afraid that the green would be so bright that it would affect gaming. However, that is not the case. The bright green color does not distract you from viewing the dual screen. The carrying case has a pocket to hold the DS Lite and two flaps, one flap can hold 3 styluses while the other flap can hold 3 game cartridges. Design of the case is very attractive and the material seems to be of good quality. There is no place to store the charger so keep that in mind. It's not that easy to close the case, because you have to get a button through a loop on the leather strap. The action is not hard, but does take more time and effort than say a zipper or velcro. Everyone who has seen the carrying case loves the look. Make sure you can live with the color before buying this bundle.

I just love my DS Lite System. I had seen these around, but did not realize how much fun it would be. The Neon Green Color is fantastic, and the Carrying Case is lovely too - holds 3 additional games. The system comes with an additional stylus (nice touch). I bought this for the color and carrying case, and I have yet to try the cooking trainer/game. I currently am using Brain Age, and loving it too. Two thumbs up Nintendo!

I LOVE my DS. The color is a nice, bright, almost lime green. I bought 3 games to go with it in the same week that it arrived (and it arrived early!), but must admit I don't often play Personal Trainer: Cooking. I tried it out, and made mac and cheese (only recipe I already had everything for, hah), which came out alright (although the cheese-sauce was a little stringy). I'm looking forward to trying harder recipes, so I'm glad I have the game to coach me when I need it.I recommend buying some screen protectors and maybe a game cartridge or two if you're planning of having a large collection of games to play. :)Overall, this is a very satisfying package, and I'm glad I ordered it.

Product is in a factory plastic bag. Not in container shown (like they took it straight out of a DS box and shipped it out) .. it IS Nintendo brand... Worked right off the bat. I needed my charger because I left mine at work then I got laid off and forgot to look under my desk for it and I was taking a long flight and needed my DS charged and this item did the trick! Highly recommend as a replacement/duplicate charger.

I knew about the Nintendo DS before, but never really looked into buying one. Recently, I found myself on a business trip and noticed the guy next to me on the plane with a DS. It looked so fun. So, I decided to make the plunge and I love it. It is the greatest little system and Amazon is so wonderful. DO NOT BUY from anyone else. Amazon offers lower prices, free shipping, and wonderful customer service. I love my DS!! Thanks Amazon!

Nintendo DS Lite Green Spring Bundle includes Personal Trainer: Cooking and Carrying CaseThis is a really nice bundle, and an excellent value for the money.The case hold 3 games, and is very durable cloth, not cheap vinyl.Well p[ackaged, it also came full charged, so I didn't have to wait to check it out and make sure it all worked properly (which it did).Of course, my kids ran off with it the first chance they got, so it is definitely recommended for the whole family.

I have enjoyed playing my DS Lite everyday since I've received it. I love the word games and Sudoko puzzles. Easy to use. Now I don't have to borrow my kids'.

Some of us just want a product that comes in a different color! This green DS Lite is perfect if you want to stand out and find your DS in a crowd (everyone else in my family has black ones). The carrying case is pretty, but impractical. It holds 3 game cartridges in elastic loops, without room for anything more, and it's awkward to open and close around your DS. The Personal Trainer: Cooking game? Meh. If the DS had come unbundled, I would have been happier, and is the reason I gave an overall rating of 4 stars.

It took me a long time to finally purchase a DS and I'm so happy I finally did. It's a lot of fun and has such a variety of games to keep me entertained. The green has grown on me, too.

I received this as an early X-mas gift from my husband and I'm extremely pleased with the Nintendo DS Lite and I looove the color - it's a Tiffany Box Blue and the rest of the accessories compliment it well. I love the ease of use, the stylus pen, the voice recognition all built in. I've been dying to play Brain Age ever since I saw the TV ads for it and it does not disappoint. Any game that allows me to challenge myself and others is great in my book so Brain Age is my perfect match. On the contrary what a couple of the posters said about this game being a DEMO Version is COMPLETELY INCORRECT. This IS the full version of the game and in fact with this full version you can send/beam other nearby DS users the demo version of the game. It says it right in the description of this product. It doesn't make much sense to me that you can send a demo version with a demo version - get it? Anyway, I'm extremely pleased and will be ordering Brain Age 2 along with several other brain games in the very near future!

Its just like the one that came with my Nintendo DS lite. Mine didn't come in the package like in the picture but it works just fine, I do like that the prongs fold into the charger so I can store it better. Not really much else, it charges my DS exactly what its supposed to do.

nintendo ds was purchased for my daughter's 6th birthday. She has had it for just over two weeks now and it has provide hours of fun and entertainment for her. it is easy for her to use and works well as an entertainment device when traveling in the car.

I just got this on black friday and can barely put it down! They call it ice blue but really it is tiffany blue and the case has a patent finish. It's cute enough to carry in my bag without it obviously being a video game. The case holds three games, the console, and an extra stylus.The brain age game is surprisingly fun. The daily trainings don't take very long, but there are a lot of sudoku puzzles to pass the time. The voice and handwriting recognition are pretty accurate, and I didn't expect to see them in a console at this price point. That being said, you really can't play this game for more than 30 mins so definitely pick up another game when you get this.My only complaint with this set are that I don't see any battery indicator. The game just cut out while I was playing. (Correct me if I missed it.) Still, at such a low price, it's a ton of fun (and I'm in my 20's) and really nice looking!

This is a wonderful item I just bought this for my wife and she LOVES IT! "The color is so pretty and the DS Lite is very small and light and awesome console! and the Pouch that this comes with is just perfect its so comfy and looks so cute!" (from my wife) You must buy it! It will be worth it!!

We owned an original Nintendo DS for two years - we bought it right when it released in December 2004. When I first saw the DS Lite at E3 in 2006, I was thrilled. The game great handheld unit design - but lighter! Brighter! Tuned! It really showed that Nintendo had been paying attention to customer feedback during those two years, and had tweaked its unit to be even better than before.First, the weight. We always *loved* the design of the DS, with its folding top. As PSP owners, I can't tell you how many time that poor PSP screen gets dinged or scratched. We had to buy extra carrying cases for our PSP and get screen protectors. In comparison, the DS's clamshell design means the screen is perfectly protected when you tote it around in your pocket or purse. The only down-side was that it was a bit heavy. With the DS lite, they keep the protection of the clamshell and also lighten up the unit significantly. It really does help a lot.The screen brightness - with it being *adjustable* - is an incredibly helpful update. Sometimes you're playing outside in very bright light. Sometimes you're playing in full dark, staying awake in bed. There are all levels in between. If you need that brightness, you don't care if you're burning up your battery power. If you do NOT need that brightness, why kill your battery for no reason? Having that ability to adjust really means that your battery works as best as it possibly can.We play several games that use the microphone, like Brain Age, and it definitely helps to have it in the center. Usually you're holding the unit with both hands, centered on your face. To have your mouth pointed right at the microphone helps out greatly with those games.In general the DS system is a fantastic handheld gaming system. We have both the DS and PSP and we play both frequently. Many of the games on the DS aren't available on the PSP and are a ton of fun. The Brain Age / Big Brain Academy / similar games stand out as games we enjoy daily. There are many other games that use the DS touch screen extremely well, giving a full interactivity of gameplay. Yes, the PSP has better graphics. It's something that the DS compromised on. They have less detailed graphics, but more interactivity. Both are great for the games they offer. So for example we play flight simulator style games on our PSP, where the high end graphics matter, and we play puzzle / platform / thinking games on the DS, where the interactivity and plot is more key.I highly recommend the DS Lite for anybody who doesn't have a DS yet - whether you have a PSP or not. It's not an either-or situation. It's like having a stereo and a TV set. They're both great for their own reasons, and most people would enjoy having both.If you HAVE a Nintendo DS already and are wondering if you should get a Lite, it really depends on how much you use it away from home. The primary benefit here is the lighter carrying weight, smaller size and much better battery life. If you're carrying it in your pocket, purse or backpack every day, I would really recommend getting a Lite. You can always give your original DS away to a friend or relative as a present, or sell it on eBay. The DSs are still in high demand and would be much loved by a new recipient.

I'm a man in my late 30s who used to enjoy video games, but between work, going back to school, and children, I just don't have time for gaming any more. So it's been ~5 years since I tried any gaming system, much less a handheld (which I've always viewed as worthless from a gaming perspective). Recently, I had a long business trip, and friends recommended the Nintendo DS Lite and Advanced Wars: Dual Strike. I bought both on their recommendation and I can honestly say it is a truly fantastic experience. It made the trip fly by, I wasn't even interested in the movie or reading. It even worked great to defuse my frustration about having to wait for an hour in a slow-moving security line. In this review, I'll write about the system, and will post a separate review about the game.The Nintendo DS Lite blew me away. The last handheld game system I tried was many years ago, also a Nintendo product I believe, and I hated it. The screen was too small and too hard to see, etc.. This product delivers in spades.Screen brightness: configurable and much, much better than previous systems. The screens are gorgeous to look at and will be visible anywhere except possibly with the sun directly shining on the screen.Battery life was also a non-issue. I still don't know the battery limit. My record is ~12 hours on a single charge using the lowest screen brightness setting (still quite usable), and the system never complained about a low charge so for all I know it could last another 12. It was more than enough to play virtually non-stop on a transcontinental flight w/no access to power.Boot time is lightning fast and makes this system extremely usable. From off to playing is < 15 seconds. In addition, you can put the game to sleep by just closing the lid & have it instantly wake up when you open again. This is a more important feature than it first seems, because it makes it possible to kill even as little as 5 minutes.Stereo music is also quite nice. I recommend a tiny set of earbuds that can fit in a travel case for the game, but the speakers also work fine if you don't want to hassle with earbuds/headphones.You can have a GBA game cartridge and a (shockingly tiny) DS cartridge loaded at the same time. In fact, this is used in some games, which unlock extra features in some newer games (including AW:DS mentioned above) and allow other cross-game interactions. One potentially big downside is that you can no longer plug in your GB Color or older cartridges. (So if you have old games you love, hold on to your older systems or buy a different Nintendo product to play them.)The touch screen worked flawlessly, but honestly, I don't prefer using it. Until I try a game that makes great use of it, I'm just as happy using the direction pad and buttons.Local wireless support is a fantastic idea, but I never had a chance to try it. You can download demos of games from game stores wirelessly, and you can play most games wirelessly, usually with just one cartridge for all players. The Nintendo DS Lite also supports wifi I believe, but I haven't had a chance to try that either. (Now if this thing could do email and calendar appointments...)All in all, I am very impressed with this system and recommend it to any game player (casual or serious) who needs to kill some time. Works great on both buses for a daily commute and for transcontinental flights.Worst aspect? I chose the black model and am very happy with it, but it does show fingerprints easily. Maybe the white would look better?

Well I got this after seeing it so much on tv and on line and I was not disappointed!!! It is fabulous!!! The blue is a super colout to get and I am lovin Brain Age, my Mom who is 62 and is not a hugh fan of computers got completely addicted to it while I was home over the holdiay period! It is super easy to play and can be for any age not just kids, I have since got some other games and they are just as good. The only down side is the case is a little big, my brother got a more compact one, but hey it matches the blue console so I am happy enough!!!!! I would recommend this for any anyone, anyage!

I just bought this item in store and am so happy that I chose this over the red Super Mario edition that just came out in conjunction with this one today. The Brain Age game might not be worth as much $$ as the Super Mario game, but the finish on this DS Lite is the BEST yet. You can't tell by the pictures, or, even the box, but when I took it out, I was shocked, it's GREAT. It's a super light ice blue with this thick clearcoat over the top and it is just bananas cool. WAY cooler than any of the metallics that look neato but kinda scratch a little. The matching ice blue patent carry case has cool (no pun intended, ha) silver zippers and closures. If Tim Gunn played Nintendo DS Lite, he would definitely have this version.
