A big disappointment
Having owned the first generation, and been really satisfied, I trusted that the third generation would be an improvement. Unfortunately this is not the case. Its Bluetooth connection is unreliable. It doesnt use all the screen size, which I dont understand why, so the night clock is difficult to read. The charger is not as stable on a surface as the first generation was. And now it has started intermittently turning off during the day due to low battery. I would send it back if it was still in warranty. I guess I will have to buy a Samsung.

Far more than a watch, it's a game changer
Now in my late 70's, I need to keep track of things more carefully. I have a Motorola phone so the Moto360 seemed the obvious choice. It took a while to find a watch face that meets all my requirements in one view. There are plenty available. I like a traditional watch face, but it takes up too much space so digital it is. Now I can see date, time, day, exercise targets + upcoming appointments all in one place, Plus I can use it to make purchases with Google Pay, which is novel. It comes with two straps, leather and plastic, is very light and stylish. I put it on charge overnight, which lasts the whole day. This really is a game changer for me. Even my sons were impressed!

Pleased with my buy.
I just wanted a smart watch which was fairly waterproof, looked nice, could show Google maps, pay with NFC , show most app notifications, and have an all day display. I thought that having a sim slot would run the battery down or if it didn't it resulted in a large watch. Up to now have been pleased. Battery life for me is over a day and as it goes on charge with my mobile every night it suits my needs. Initially battery life was less than a day but that's because in the early days I was trying the watch out. Would have liked to be able to buy another charger and screen protectors but due to covid these aren't available yet. Because it runs Google it gives facilities to text reply most messages. Also there is some support for memory map. it's also nice that it reflects most apps allowing me to pause and skip music tracks from my wrist together with control of audible books. It does mean I don't miss many calls or texts. I have all day display set and turn wrist to awaken watch. The sleep function is via an app so as the watch is charged overnight haven't bothered to try it so unable to comment. It does seem pricy but as it is my first smart watch I don't know what the competition would be like. At the moment I can't do without it. It did plan to be my going out watch but find my old watch has been consigned to the draw.

Very happy, would recommend it!
To be honest I was counting days until I am going to start using my smartwatch. It's my first smartwatch and I reached my expectations after a few days. Firstly the package is very nice. Interesting shape and not classical watch box. I have an active lifestyle (and GPS inside this watch is helping me a lot to track my activities and location) but at the same time, I am trying to distance myself from mobile devices.
Yes, my work indeed depends on mobile, but I have to distance from it and have some moments for my self. I love moto360 since I do have a chance to receive notification and without any interruption continue with my activities ( like running, swimming, board pedaling, cooking and finishing some of my tasks on the to-do list )
Battery charging is surprisingly fast. A huge advantage is the possibility of switching stripes fast. Literary you can do that while you are commuting. You can fully change completely change the look of your watch in just a few minutes and adapt it to your outfit. Storage of 8GB is covering all my needs. WearOS system is definitely a huge plus for me. This system is giving me the options to see my next meetings, get directions, check my grocery list, check the weather, use Shopify, stay fit with some fitness apps and etc. Definitely a very good investment and I am definitely going to recommend this product to my friends and family :)

Battery life seems a bit low
Great watch .. looks nice, seems well built, software is reasonable and connects ok to phone. Battery life not so great, until watch is set to not have the screen on until selected.

Has everything you need.
I'm new to tech wearables, but this watch has everything you need. I use it for payment and loyalty cards storage. I can receive and reply to messages from WhatsApp, track the usual steps, and connect to workout apps with ease. It has more functions and capabilities than I actually use.
The battery life is good, I charge it at night whilst asleep, the same as I do with my phone, and could probably get longer from one charge on most days. It charges really quickly too if you need a boost or top up.
I'm sure others with use this watch in more depth than myself, but over the past couple of months usage, it has more to offer than I currently use, with room to add features that may arise throughout the year. Highly recommended investment and for me, future proofed too.

Great return of an old friend.
It was great to see the Moto 360 return and immediate thought was that the changes looked great and the description suggested good changes. It is as good as expected with a few thoughts, it support battery and power handling very well and reports are useful but it needs a bigger battery. I'm not over pleased or concerned about the reduced screen size but miss the flat tire that used space a lot better. Overall, I love the changes and watch.

Worked well, for as long as it worked.
Everything about this watch was great except battery life, which was on the edge of acceptable. I mainly used it to track workouts, walks, navigation, music controls for my phone and googly pay and it was excellent for all those functions.
Sadly the watch has mysteriously died after ~8 months, I see another review had a failure after 8 months too.
£25 a month seems a bit steep for what I got out of it, though it was very convenient while it lasted.
One negative I had through the life of the device was that the proprietary charger was kind of sloppy and loose, and is also making it hard to troubleshoot the potential problem as I can't try different cords to charge etc.
I'm going to take the other "8 month and died" reviewer's recommendation on next steps.

Had great expectations for this watch after my Samsung watch stopped working after a very hard 5 years use
So this moto looked good value at £199 compared to others. When it arrived it looked elegant in the phantom black with a leather strap and rubber strap which both fitted my small wrists
Then the problems started, I have a note 10 which connects to other devices with no problems but it took several attempts to keep a connection then when connected it dropped out. Also the screen text is quite small. Now the charging device would only charge the watch to 50% most times which took 4 hours and when it did get to 100% it never lasted a day
I could have a had a faulty one, asked for refund as didn't want to take a chance

Love this smartwatch
The presentation of the smartwatch in the casing is just incredible, make the unboxing experience a real pleasure!
In terms of the watch itself, I have been waiting for ages to find an elegant (not squared or too sporty) and functional watch that I can use while runing and in the office.
The interface works perfectly and is capable of using all the applications that I use like Spotify, Whatsapp and adding my personal music (8GB of memory) in case of not having internet.
This is a really good option for those thinking in buying a new smartwatch!!

Good looking watch that lacks the endurance.
It's a good looking watch but the battery life sucks. A bit below wear os standards. I have two wear os watches by the way so I know. It's alright that it doesn't have a speaker, I don't use it anyway. Bezels are huge. It's okay if it has any purpose like a capacitive scroll wheel bit it doesn't.

Great Watch. Very impressed
I did a lot of research before purchasing. I really like the watch. The 2 straps are great. The tan leather one is really nice and good quality. The Google Pay is a nice feature. Plenty of workouts with the built in GPS. Battery life is my only gripe. I get about 16 hours, with not a lot of use. If I go for a run, it will be less.

The watch I have no gripes with at all, but no sooner I bought it for £299 and suddenly Amazon are selling it for £199, which really ticks me off.

Pleasing watch.
Pleasing watch. My first smart watch and I've enjoyed having all notifications available at a glance of my wrist. Stylish watch and we'll built. Battery could be better (first day whilst everything updates will be awful.) But get you through 18 hours easy just using as a watch and for notifications. Charges in under an hour.

It's handy for monitoring my heart rate .That's it's main purpose for me personally. Iam barely scratching the surface of its uses . It's a smart watch without shouting about it .

Big, light and resistant.
The smartwatch is great. It has a very nice leather strap and it is very light watch.
That it is waterproof I also liked a lot because it allows me to take a shower with it calmly. The screen size is adequate too and price seems to me to be very good. If you want something good, you have to pay for it. I fully recommend it!

Highly impressive 3rd generation smart watch with all the latest gadgets
From the moment I opened the box this watch revolutionised how I feel about wearable tech. It's sleek, stylish and looks very expensive. Setting it up has been extremely easy and it has an app for everything. I'm most impressed that it makes sure I don't forget important events and meetings as it syncs brilliantly with my schedule providing essential notifications for every appointment without being intrusive.

It took between 10 to 15 hours to charge if you were lucky as sometimes it didn't charge although showed the charging symbol. If it did charge to 100% it only lasted about 16 hours.
