It is totally awesome ..... Plz guys if u r going for this iron ....... Then u must .... This is the best original product from the company ..... And the packing was so durable that not a single crack was there in the iron and it also heat the cloth with very soft pressure .... In whole This Iron is The Best One Under 500 bucks ....

Dead investment
The item reached in broken condition . But could not return the same as I was out of town . It was a damaged peice . In terms of usage , it does not heat up very wel . But just OK to remove some dresses before wear of after ironed and stored clothes

Very unsafe product, gives shock.
Don't but this product, it gives electric shock while ironing, it can even kill you.
I have grounding in home still there is electricity flowing on the bottom metal part very dangerous.

Not a Good Design
The design of this product is so worst that even China make of this product feel more comfortable to use.
The stand at the base of the Iron Box is so Sharp that it scratched my hand every time when I used this product. I never expected such a bad design from this reputed company. Not a recommendable product.
After using it for 3 to 4 times, the Thermostat had to be replaced for Rs. 300. I trusted the company and the brand, but this is a bad quality product. Not Worth.. Please do not buy this product at all.

Buy this only if you want to burn your clothes
An absolutely horrible product. The temperature control setup seems to be broken. Even when you go to the low heat mode,the heat is intense. Burned/tore 2 of my shirts already by using this. Bought this for 250 bucks and am already regretting for buying this cheap and substandard product. I'm not sure whether this is an OK certified Morphy Richards product.

Buy Bajaj iron!!!
Don't buy. Just wastage of money. Bajaj does much good work at this price. Coming from a brand like Morphy Richards , I was expecting it too be nice and performing good but trust me I am regretting my purchase and it's highly dissapointing ...

Stopped working in 20 days
I've had the iron for 20 days (1st april - 20 april) and today it stopped working while I was ironing. I was using the maximum temperature (cotton) and also noticed that the plastic body was slight melting near the plate. Half hour into the ironing and it stopped working. I waited till the iron cooled down and tried to switch it on again. Still not working. Now, I'll have to try to claim the warranty and see if I can get a replacement. Hope that works out, if not I'll would have wasted my money on this bad product.

Product Longevity is not there
Hey Team, Good morning!
Your product no doubt is light weight and easy to use but after use of 30 days all the modes went for a toss and only one more was working for these many days. It's been 10 months of purchase and today it completely stopped working!
I mean it didn't come even for a year!
I really love the product and I wish you to help me with it as it's not even a year.
Either replace me one or repair it!

Does not seem to be a box piece.
Doesn't seem like a box piece. Lot of scratches on the plastic body as if it was kept on display for long. Inside there are three plastic legs where the screws hold the metal surface with the plastic body of the iron box. One of those leg is broken. Online purchase has become a headache as everytime i receive products with some or other defects...

This is the best product at this prise as because it's lightweight. Durable and very easy to use. The plastic used on this product I don't know what was that but it's good and durable. It's automatic adjustable so very easy to use.

Cheap quality
Was unexpected of the brand but the plastic used to make it is cheap. The handle could come out of the base every time you hold to use it. I doubt it to last even a month. The heating is good and quick. Better go for another brand or another model.

Elegant, Lightweight and Handyman
What an elegant and low price product. It gets my daily ironing completed with consistent performance. Its easy to carry to if you are travelling due to its light weight. I took it to various outstation without any hustle due to its compact design and light weight. I will recommend this product to anyone who don't want to go for steam iron, this is the best product available out there when it comes to its basic mechanisms for me. It's gliding motion over fabric is very smooth due to Teflon coating making cloths not to stick to it EVEN IF IRON GETS OVERHEATED. Durability is average to achieve light weight.

Please DO NOT buy any Morphy Richards Product
It is sad to see a brand, which my family has been using for decades, has been reduced to this!
I used the iron for 6 months and endless problems began.. I complained to the warranty centre, they tried to repair it and failed. Same thing again, I complained, the person tried to repair, but failed
After which I understood what value Morphy Richards really has towards its customers!
After failing to repair it, I was due to get a replacement.. Instead of doing that, for the past several weeks, Morphy Richards has sent me on a goose chase, where I'm made to beg several customer care agents, service personnel to get my rightful due! And they have the cheek to call me and tell me the the repair is done, bit I'm not satisfied and they only will send the technician again and try to repair it
Morphy Richards - I would like you to send someone to take the iron back, please consider it a gift from me!
Ridiculous to see a brand you've grown up with behave this way over a 700 rupee iron!

Iron with broken stand, cannot stand when hot
The iron looks good, gets heat quickly and is lightweight but it has some problems. So will be returning the product.
1) One of the plastic notch on which the iron stands is broken. So its not possible to make it stand when its hot.
2) When the iron is cool and the temperature control switch is at minimum, it doesn't switch ON. When its set in the middle then it switches ON.

The iron was delivered on time. When I excitedly opened it for my first use, the neon light wasn't working at all..and it doesn't heat properly so much that even at its highest regulated temperature you can still put your hand on the base of the iron.
Edit-
After I posted the review, I called Morphy Richards Customer Care and they sent an agent sometime in the week to check the iron. The agent came, repaired the iron for free. Now the iron is working fine.

Today a person from amazon delivered iron from morphy Richard .right now i am using it ,just now it has burnt my bedsheet another thing it says non stick it has got so many scratches once i on the,button.pathetic product .l am going to return it right now.

Good product but bad transit I guess.
I guess the item was damaged during transit. The box was in pieces ... Seemed like it was nibbled. .. to my utter shock the wire had also been tampered with. The iron box looked great but was of no use because it was damaged. Had to return the item.

Pathetic product.. in last one year of usage, it has been repaired thrice.. element burnt out in 3 months, for which entire soleplate was replaced.. then thermostat was replaced.. the wire shorted with flames... Quality seems missing from murphy richard's dictionary..

Buy at your own risk. The iron that I received was defective.
So it was replaced. And now, the replacement doesn't work.
And I cant return it as the window for returning it is closed.
So, nor the ardous task of contacting the manufacturer.

One of the worst product, and Amazon customer care service too. There is no any response from customer care. Several times I am trying to reach but still not responding. Product has 2yrs guarantee period and I purchased it January 2019. I want to exchange this product ASAP. otherwise I will spread in social media.

An excellent product at a very affordable price.
The iron arrived in a sealed box. It was absolutely new. It is lightweight, which causes no strain on the arm and ironing is very easy. The cord is also sufficiently long, which makes ironing long cloths like bedsheets etc., also possible. It can iron every cloth, from a handkerchief to a curtain, just like a heavy-duty iron. Strongly recommended.

Cheap quality plug and short wire
After a short while one of the three pins in the plug came out. While connecting another 3 pin plug, I could notice that the wire used is of very inferior quality. Apart from the showy design, the ease of ironing is also poor.

A placebo..Quality can better. Looks like a fake product
The sharp edges of the moulding is a worry. The finish of the product requires lot of improvement. Delicate cloths will get damaged with the sharp plastic protrusions of the body. Doesn't seem like belonging to the Brand.

Waste of money...
Not a good product.. Waste of money..The wiring came a bit loose.. So it had to be kept in a certain orientation for the current to come. Also it has practically no temperature control.. Gets super hot quickly no matter the dial setting.. I was out of town when the delivery came.. Otherwise would have definitely returned it

Temperature control, light control not working and received a broken one.
The temperature control button is not working it gets extremely hot. The light indicator is not working. Cheap quality product. I received a broken one, noise is coming from inside as if something is broken inside. Truly waste of money.
