Smooth ride, good cornering. Maybe a bit too good braking.
Excellent traction. Much better then the WTB Ranger 3.0’s my bike came with. Braking traction so good I endo’d and destroyed my knee on a root on ride 2 and haven’t been able to ride for 3 weeks and counting. Shock absorbtion felt much better over roots and rocks.

Best rear tire I've ever had
I ran this on a 40mm rim and it was unbelievable. Rolls well, climbs well and the sidewalls are nice and stiff. Ran it tubeless at about 18lbs of pressure and it held well - no burps. Lasted me about 500 miles before it needed to be replaced.

Buy these if you cant make a decision
If you need that little bit more confidence and control on your + (plus) size bike then drop that 0.2 width and roll with joy on these fantastic 2.8 tyres. Really good packaging, construction, and woopers on the trail. Thanks Maxxis

Product not as described
I ordered a brand new tire and what i got was a tire that had been used. Every other Maxxis I’ve ever gotten was shipped to me in a brand new Maxxis bag and i received this tire with a rubber band around it. The tire was still dirty and the sidewalls were also dirty and marked. I have been mountain biking for 23 years and know what a new tire looks like this was not one of them. The tag with the item says it is NEW.

Чертовски крутые шины. Лучший из всех.
Мне нравятся размеры и защита, которые обеспечивают эти шины. Тяга на пределе, и этим летом я определенно буду разгонять трассы с помощью этих кроссовок.

やっぱりプラスは良い
初めてのプラスサイズでしたが、重さもさほど変わらず、転がりも良いのにダートでのグリップ感もあり買って正解でした。
リム への組み込みは、経験者の方が言うようにコンプレッサーなど有ったほうが安心して作業出来ます。私はコンプレッサー無しで普通に組めましたが、タイヤの癖のつき方で組み込みはだいぶ変わると思います。

Unlucky and got a defective tire
Two stars because the tire that was shipped is defective. The tire wobbles pretty bad and am currently work with my LBS to get the tires returned to and replaced by Maxxis under warranty. Kind of a waste of time.

Ottimo 27,5+ per MTB
Copertone da 2,80 ideale per cerchi da 35 o meglio 40mm. Abbinato al DHF davanti consente di affrontare trail impegnativi. Ha una tenuta notevole, frenata sicura e buona scorrevolezza in rapporto alle dimensioni. Ottimo per ebike gommate 27,5+

La devolvi porque la imagen se correspondia con la de Rekon 27,5 + de 120 TPI pero me llego la de 60, que no me interesaba. De ahí que solo 3 estrellas. Creo que la información es escasa. Por lo demás 0 problemas.

размер 29x2.8 - это не 120 точек на дюйм
шины Maxxis Rekon великолепны, доставка была быстрой, но описание tpi неверное.......... не 120 tpi, а 60 tpi.

Очень Доволен Этими Шинами!
Заказал их в качестве запасных шин для своего Trek Fuel EX 8 2019 года выпуска, и я заметил мгновенное улучшение сцепления на поворотах и лучшую управляемость на склонах холмов. Они посрамили биржевых торговцев. Состав заметно мягче, так что они, вероятно, будут изнашиваться быстрее, чем мои шины OE, но меня это устраивает. Безопасность и управляемость, которые вы получаете на этих шинах, являются отличным компромиссом.
