Upon installation the motherboard gives an "Processor" Error code, reboots itself, then boots up perfectly fine after that until it's powered down and powered on again.
When I contacted ASUS about it they advised there is a problem with the motherboard and I need to send it in for warranty repair. Not only is the customer responsible for providing the packing materials to properly and safely pack the devide (since they recommend not using factory packaging since you won't get it back), they also have to pay the shipping costs to have the defective device they were provided in the first place repaired. Horrible customer service all around, from the RMA process to the mostly canned (template) responses that don't address or even take into account the information you provided them. I would avoid any ROG equipment all together after this experience.

It’s expensive, it works as advertised. It’s an Asus MB, so it’s reliable as far as I’m concerned. The only issue/question I have is whether or not this board I got was new. Other MB I’ve bought had a security sticker on the box and the board is usually wrapped in anti-static wrap... mine was not. There were scratches on the protective tape they put on the board. Just have a feeling it might have been returned and sold to me. This is probably an Amazon problem or Asus maybe.

It is a great looking mother board and is functional for the most part. BUT.... Having more problems than I thought I would. AURA not working, Live dash not working, AI Suite not working and it will not find my EVGA Liquid CPU Cooler.
Tons of updates for the bios and other stuff. I am starting to regret buying this board

Великолепно
Love the way it looks and the quality that Asus puts into their products. Right now I've got a i9 9900k and 64GB of ddr4 3200mhz RAM from corsair and it's running beautifully. However I've had trouble with the fan controller that comes with it and it will give me blue screens if the program stays running.

Excellent Motherboard! What you see is what you get. I wish the RGB would have worked as announced. The RGB light is working but not very strong and the ROG logo itself is not showing any lights (dimmed) but when it comes to the board itself. Wow! Asus for the win. Technical aspects are amazing and full of features to overclock sooooo easily. It gives you really full control of what you are doing.

It's an amazing board to say the least, but its major manufacturing defect is the preinstalled plate for the MoBo, it does not allow you to install the motherboard because the built in plate (the back of the case) conflicts with all cases)
