Best sounding mic for the price zone. The boom lets you have the perfect angle you want and the sound is radio quality. No buzzing or humming. It came woth a pop filter that i have since stopped using for the simple fact my current setup, the pop filter blocks part of the bottom. Of the screen where my hot.bar is. My viewers love the clearity and professional sound it gives without running it thru a moni board 1st. My friends love how it actually sounds like me and not me in a can like other mics ive tried.

I had purchased this microphone to do some voice acting but when I plugged the microphone into my computer I had a 404 error message come up. I tried several times to to connect the microphone including adjusting some of the settings on my computer (running Windows 10) and I have not been able to get it to work.
I am not sure what you can suggest as to how I can get it to work on my computer but I am not very satisfied with your product thus far. It is not as easy of a plug and play device as I was lead to believe.
I do not believe that I will be suggesting your product to others at this time.

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. I was specifically looking for a mic with a headphone jack and zero latency monitoring, as well as a mute button on the mic. Both features work great here. Sound quality is nice, and the stand functions as it should. Nothing fancy, but it holds the weight well.

I did had an issue with the gain knob about 5 months after purchase. Once I turned it up past 10%, I would hear a crackle and the mic would stop picking up my voice. I reached out to Maono support and after a few questions and a video describing the issue, they sent me a replacement. It arrived quickly and I am back up and running. Kudos to them for standing by their product.

The microphone itself is great and you will like it. The sound recording quality is excellent. The problem is the cheap desk mounting clamp used on the boom arm. It will not hold on to the desk top with the weight of the microphone extended to any distance. The clamp needs to be redesigned to hold on to a larger desk area. I solved this problem by purchasing a weighted desk base to use instead of the clamp. This also allowed me to move the microphone around my desk. My suggestion would be to purchase just the microphone and find a better stand option that does not fall over.

The microphone boom arm set is really really really bad. From the desk mount, the arm itself to the microphone shock mount, every part of it is always wiggling.

Every time when I try to turn the arm to a certain angle, the desk mount becomes loose and fell off a few times, causing me to lock it on the desk again and again despite I locked it to the tightest every time. The foam on the desk mount which is supposed to prevent the it to slip peel off the first time when I try to mount it on the desk.

Overall the microphone is okay but the arm set is complete trash quality.

I would highly recommend this with ONE little caveat...it's a little quieter than I would like. I have the gain turned all the way up and I still have to use my "i'm on the phone" voice in order for people to hear me clearly. I would think the gain would have more of an impact on that. But overall, I would buy this again because of how well it works for the money.

I work for a 100% remote company and spend hours a day on Zoom calls. I was using a Logitech gaming headset prior to purchasing this microphone. On the very first meeting after getting it, I was told "You sound like you're on a podcast" by two different people. A client complimented me on my microphone quality again this morning and asked where they could get one as well.

Currently being used for Microsoft Teams, Zoom meetings, and a podcast.
Sound quality is great and it’s built well.
Having the mic gain control, and headphone jack right on the unit is convenient.
This mic is well worth the money.

 After using the MAONO AU-PM422 over the past two weeks I am beyond pleased with the results. I have been in numerous calls in Discord and Zoom and have had no complaints about the quality of my microphone. For the price of the Microphone this is a complete steal for the quality and in my opinion, is better than an Audio Technica or Blue Yeti microphone.

when I received the package at my door I saw that the box was already open (the Amazon box) and the worker didn't take a picture when he delivered it. I then noticied that the box for the microphone didn't have the plastic seals around the edges. I saw a lot of videos of this item being unboxed and I could tell that the unit that I got was already used. It didn't have the protective sticker in the front, the wind foam guard seems to have been bitten , the product is scratched, the mute button light isn't lit all around, the usb cable for the mic doesn't work unless I angle it a certain way. It was not worth the price of a new microphone. I would have rather bought it used for a lower price since that's what I basically got. I would like to return this one and actually get a new one.

The product arrived in an undamaged box, but upon opening, I found the microphone to have something rattling inside of it. I immediately placed it back in the box and requested a replacement from Amazon. I will update this review after the replacement arrives.

I use this mic for recording tutorials and this review is from a teachers perspective. Mic recording is fine. Does not catch background noise. Build quality is solid and heavy. Wiring it to laptop is easy. Plug and play. Did not take much to get it working. The mute button is quite handy. Live feedback via headphone jack is quite fast. No noticeable delay.

While the mic is good, arm is a joke. It is of TERRIBLE quality. Move it a few times and most joints becomes super loose. All the screws need constant tightening. Considering the weight of the mic, arm should have been heavier and more solid built.

Okay so lemme start by saying I couldn't be happier with this microphone! It's got a nice tight (no wiggle) gain dial, a mute/unmute touch button with color indicator, and 3.5mm audio port for headphones. The sound quality is amazing and if you're recording with any ambient background noise like fans/air filters you will definitely wanna use the pop filter. This is high quality microphone and absolutely worthwhile purchase. However I will say the boom could be a bit heftier and you won't want to be too rough with it, but don't be dissuaded by that because the mic itself is excellent!

I have been using a USB microphone for a while and decided I needed to upgrade my setup. I looked online for days and finally decided to get this bundle package. First off, the microphone is amazing and sounds outstanding. I recorded some licks off of my guitar and it sounds like it was already EQ'd at the studio. Very minor tweeking needed to get that perfect sound, but alone sounds amazing; I am so happy I bought this. The arm and rest of everything is of equal value, I haven't had any issues with it not holding the weight or dropping or doing anything that I don't want it to do. Would absolutely recommend if you are new or even intermediate with microphones, it sounds amazing.
