i got sent the wrong microphone and wrong stand doesnt work at all when i connect it to my pc and even when it does work theres a high pitch screeching in the back and the voice is very soft i want a refund

I do a lot of videos for 3-D printing, and I have never been happy with the sound. It's a difficult environment due to ambient noise created by the machines. I decided to get a studio quality mic and based on price and other factors chose this one. When I opened it I was surprised that he didn't have a preamp or power supply. It simply connected with a USB A connector. I was very disheartened at first. However, I decided to try his sincerity had it and I was absolutely amazed at the sound quality. I included a little sound clip here to give you an idea. The mic itself is extremely well constructed, and has quite a heft to it. The mount isolates it from vibration on the table and allows it to be positioned wherever it's needed. You can monitor the sound by plugging a headset directly into the mic, which gives you a good idea of what's actually being recorded in real time. There is also a switch to turn the microphone on and off right on the mic. As it on to gaming, I didn't rate that feature. But if you want a relatively inexpensive studio quality microphone with absolutely fantastic sound and minimal trouble to set up, this is your thing.

I am an avid gamer and YouTuber. I bought this mic especially because of its touch panel which has microphone gain knob and mute/unmute. You can also directly connect your headphones out of the mic which was a huge value addition. This microphone I bought after I had a recent bad experience with the different mic which stopped working in days.
But this mic quality is high and the metal arm is strong. The touch mute key changes to green/red color and tells you the status of the mic. I recorded a couple of videos with this mic and audio quality was awesome. I only wish if they have a small mobile stand so I can take this microphone anywhere I go. Overall good quality microphone.

The mic works, the housing is well made, and the pop filter is nice. I'm pretty underwhelmed with the armature, which doesn't actually hold the mic securely in any useful position. And the USB-B cable that came with my system is clearly defective- it doesn't secure properly when plugged into the port on my computer and tends to disconnect briefly if bumped. Occasionally, I get a high pitched background squeal, which I suspect is also a result of the poor connection. All in all... I think it's an OK mic, but since the armature is trash I probably could have done just as well with a Snowball mic or something similar and it doesn't feel like the deal other people are describing (also, I got rid of all my USB-B cables years ago... so I'll need to buy a replacement).

This is a great addition for anyone who does meetings, live streaming and online gaming on the computer. The mic can get really close to you, without getting in the way or taking up valuable desktop space where it counts. It mounds to your desk with a very sturdy clamp that you can tighten, so it fits just about any normal sized desk. The whole frame is metal, with the arms able to swivel and bend to get the mic towards you at the perfect angle. I really appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the frame, as this is something that I move around a lot, depending on what I'm doing that day. I like that the connection points are metal, and that the base for the microphone is suspended by some thick elastic. This is so any sudden jarring of the microphone would not cause too much of a sudden movement and introduce unwanted noise/effects. The mic itself is solid and built with the same quality. I chose this model because its not too expensive, but also because the microphone has a level knob, so you can control the sound input level. There is also a headphone jack that I use to monitor what I'm saying to ensure it comes out exactly how it was intended. There is also a mute switch thats lit to indicate mute or not mute. This is important as I don't always want others to hear everything from my side. The wind blocker is a great addition, but if its too much, the mic also has a foam cover that you can slip over it. So far, I'm pretty happy with this. Everyone that I've chatted with online have been able to hear me crystal clear, with no distortion. If anyone says I'm a little low, I just crank up the level input knob. Its so easy to use and connects via USB connection. It also looks great, and gives me "gamer" street cred :)

I wanted so bad to love this microphone. It has A LOT of pros. VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED. Downright beautiful design. I actually like the shock mount and boom arm. Great for many uses. Not top notch but perfectly usable. teh touch mute is AWESOME because I hate the click sounds of mechanical mute buttons. It has a very healthy gain knob so you will have no problem getting enough sound. The microphone itself sounds GREAT BUT there are TWO very huge downsides to this mic. I hope Maono addresses these because this mic is ALMOST perfect.
Pros:

Although the mic is rated at 74 db signal to noise ratio, the pre-amp in this puppy is NOT good. which means your recordings are going to have a LOT of noise. You CAN NOT record with this thing unless you use a noise filter. I have to use two just to get it cleaned out. Had a client complain, YUCK.
The mic is VERY ringy. If you tap on the mic it will ring two separate pitches for about 1/3 of a second. What that means is then when you speak or sing in the mic and hit one of those pitches, the mic will ring. Now you may not notice it right away but its there. You have to ring it out with a parametric EQ. Add a PEQ with an analyzer and tap the mic. you will see which frequencies you need to notch out, then it will sound better.
So in conclusion this mic CAN sound great if you make some tweaks. but you need to do some post work. The problem is once you buy a good filter plugin like RX Elements or Waves NS1 (which are the ones I use to clean it up) you could have spent more on a better mic. But on the other hand, you really should have those plugins anyway if you do VO work. BUT, I still do like this mic and It is great for a travel and rough vocal demos and good for zoom calls.

Alright i would like to get this clear before anything im making this review on behalf of my dad since i was the one who he got it for that way there is no hiccups and confusion why i type things i do lol. Anyways when my dad bought this mic for me i lost my blue yeti and didn't have a great budget then i stumbled upon this mic and it was a great price and had good review's at the time and when i plugged it in and everything i was surprised when i got it set up it sounded way better than i was expecting. I use it to stream on my twitch and for the future maybe even a YouTube video with a proper review it deserves cause honestly i cant believe this. But there is a downside to the mic i feel like the mic button is a little out of place cause if i barely touch it would end up muting itself. Not to get it wrong i like it but i enjoy the tactile click to let me know i muted it i still like the color light indicator on it so yeah.
Now we are gonna go onto a small little wish i would like to see one day come to life cause i think you all have the best potential to make it happen and if it happens i would love to review it and use it a ton. I would love to see you all make a xlr mic bundle with a interface with a arm bundle and stuff like this cause i would love to see what you all can do xlr mic wise and i think you would kill in this department if you do it just right. If it ever happens i would be overjoyed to be completely honest cause i have been non stop recommending this mic bundle to my friends if they have a budget like i did. So honestly in the entirety of it all i enjoyed the product i have had no issues with it or anything and again seriously i honestly think you all should attempt a xlr mic bundle next and everything i know im repeating myself but i honestly would like to see this and i would definitely get it for my twitch and youtube videos to use even though im a bit of a boring person but anyways thanks for making this wonderful bundle 10/10 would get it it again also you all stay amazing over there. - Sincerely, TheBadoodlerTV
