Ligero y suficientemente robusto
Realmente es lo que parece: trípode ligero, y muy portable.
Plegado son solo 40 cm. y está muy bien que la rótula quede en el medio protegida de golpes.
Extendido con el máximo ángulo (50º) aguanta bien, estable. Ello a pesar de que el diámetro mayor de las patas sea solo de 22 mm.
La rótula es más robusta de lo que parece a simple vista, aguanta sobradamente mi réflex con un zoom medio con unos 1,5 kg en total (en teoría puede soportar 4 kg).
En mi opinión es una opción magnífica como "segundo trípode ligero", para cuando priorizamos por encima de todo ir ligeros de volumen y de peso pero manteniendo un nivel de calidad razonablemente alto.
Buena opción (pero más cara) para no tener que caer en trípodes ligeritos y baratos pero que se mueven más que una noria, pensados más bien para compactas o para aquellos que utilizan el trípode solo ocasionalmente.
Pero en cambio, aquellos aficionados que busquen un "primer trípode" o "trípode único", tienen que tener en cuenta que por un precio similar tienen otros modelos (incluso de la misma marca) algo más pesados (sobre 2 kg) pero claramente más robustos y consistentes.
Resumiendo, buen trípode, de calidad, responde exactamente a las expectativas que tenía.
Recomendable.

Muy buen producto
Cuando llego lo abrí y me impresionó porque lo vi en mediamarkt y parecía más endeble. La rótula es un poco básica. No trae niveles y si quieres fijar la rótula y moverla en el plano horizontal para hacer una panorámica no se puede porque al fijar la posición la fijas por completo. Manfrotto no decepciona. En este artículo, nosé porque, no me llego factura de la compra, tendré que contactar con amazon. Por lo demás muy bien.

Decepción
Tengo un trípode de 20 € comprado en carrefour desde hace tiempo y decidí dar un paso adelante, uno mejor. Pues he elegido mal, ni es muy estable ni tiene muchos movimientos ni posiciones ni formas de cogerlo, ni burbujas ni na, una rotula patatera y a correr. Seguí los consejos de otros usuarios que lo ponían muy bien pero a veces dudo de donde salen esas opiniones. Lo mejor que es pequeño, pero no merece la pena,mejor gastarse 30€ mas y la diferencia si es apreciabe. Yo sigo con el que tenía antes.

Impresionante tripode para llevarlo de viaje. No pesa casi nada y es muy compacto. Se le nota muy robusto para ser tan pequeño y aguanta perfectamente una camara grande con un 70-300. Muy recomendable

Relación calidad precio estupenda. Más pesado que su modelo superior en carbono, pero también su precio lo es.
Rótula estupenda. Queda firmemente agarrado el cuerpo. Fácil de mover la cámara con un sencillo apretar y aflojar un tornillo palomilla. Permite acercar la cámara a ras de suelo.

ideal para llevarlo encima. no pesa mucho, es una buena marca, y se pliega 180 º para que este la rotula recogida dentro de las patas.
viene con su bolsa lo que hace poder guardarla o llevarla sin problema. Lo recomiendo pero sabiendo que es un tripode más ligero y que si lo utilizas para
fotografiar cuando hay viento fuerte este no sirve. Pero cuando tienes que andar o viajar lejos tener este tripode es una maravilla, y el precio esta bien ya que es una marcar conocidad.

Aceptable pero mejorable
El resumen es que este trípode no vale 200 Euros. Es una version acceptable de un trípode de viaje, pero tiene muchos detalles que denotan poca calidad. Yo recomendaría un Benro o un Sirui. Este trípode podria costar 100 Euros y ya sería caro. Eso sí, en YouTube sale de cine gracias a las primas de marca.

Me lo recomendó un amigo profesional de la fotografía porque buscaba un trípode ligero pero fuerte. Llegó en perfectas condiciones y el breve manual de instrucciones es útil. Espero poder sacarle todo el partido muy pronto.

This is my review of the Manfrotto, Befree Aluminium Travel Tripod (40cm).
Just picked up this excellent example of Manfrotto’s World renowned built quality and at a decent price too, just £117.00 on Amazon at the time of this review (a 30% discount on the RRP) .
There are two different size options available, the 30cm or 40cm (Size when closed) but for this Review I will be focusing on their 40cm version.
At first glance this tripod is not only pleasant to look at, but also practical with a compact size and fairly light too, at just 1.4kg or 3lbs.
The full specs of this Semi-professional grade tripod are;
– Hight when fully extended: 144cm or 56.7inch
– Size when closed down for storage: 40cm or 15.7inch
– Colour options are: Black with either; Red, Blue, Gray or Green accents.
– Weight: 1.4kg or 3lbs
The build quality of this tripod dose not disappoint, which is what we have come to expect from Manfrotto. When out and about it is great to have the option of such a compact tripod that is easy to carry, easy and fast to set up and has a quality ball head system for composing your shot, locking the ball head and getting your desired composition every time with the least hassle possible, compared to some of the other options out there. The Camera mounting system is well thought out too and secure with a double locking latch system for added protection of your camera. The tripod has a well built smart adjustment system for the legs, easily allowing you to select three options; 1. Packing mode, which allows you to fold the legs back giving you the compact storage design. 2. Normal use mode and 3. Low level shooting mode. The only possible downside to this tripod would be its weight restrictions, if you are planning on using a larger Pro DSLR or a Semi-Pro DSLR with a battery grip and a X-300mm lense, then this is not the tripod for you. However if you are using a standard Canon 70D size camera like myself with my trusty 17-85mm, then you will have no problems what so ever.
All in all I am well impressed with this tripod and I look forward to using it out on location. My main reason for getting the tripod was obviously its compact looking design, but after actually holding it in my hands and getting to test it out around my local area, I am a satisfied customer and would give this model top marks. (Based on my requirements)
My first major test of this tripod will be in the Scottish Highlands next week (October 13-18 2016) when I will fully put it through its paces and post a full on location, hands on review on my YouTube channel so check it out if you are looking around at different travel tripod options and can’t make a decision or if you are just interested in Travel Photography in general.

... zumindest für mich.
Ich hatte das Stativ als Ersatz für mein Mantona Reisestativ bestellt, weil dieses eien Beinverriegelung mit Drehmechanik hat, was immer wieder zu Problemen führt und mich ziemlich nervt. Daher hatte ich nach einem Stativ mit anderer Verriegelung der Beine gesucht und war hier fündig geworden.
Was mir gefällt:
+ Beinverriegelung mit Schnappverschlüssen.
+ Ausstellmechanik mit leichgängigen Hebeln
+ Sehr schöne und solide Transporttasche
+ Große Drehverschlüsse an der Mittelsäule und am Kopf
+ Schnellverschluss an der Schnellwechselplatte
+ Sehr gute Verarbeitung
Bis dahin alles prima, was mir aber überhaupt nicht gefällt:
-- Es gibt am Kopf nur einen gemeinsamen Feststellhebel für Neigung und Azimut, d.h. wenn ich die Aufnahmerichtung ändern will muss ich auch den Kugelkopf lösen. Panoramen gehen daher eigentlich mit diesem Stativ nicht. Da hat Manfrotto nun wirklich an der falschen Stelle gespart.
- Keine Wasserwaagen am Kopf (o.k., hab ich gewusst, bewerte ich auch nicht)
- Schnellwechselplatte nicht Arca-Swiss kompatibel (o.k., hab ich auch gewusst, bewerte ich auch nicht)
Wen das mit dem Feststellhebel nicht stört, sollte ruhig zugreifen, qualitativ ist das Stativ durchaus in Ordnung, er fehlt aber ein wichtiges Merkmal.

Ich nutze diesen Filter auf einem Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor 105mm 1:2,8G VR Objektiv. Er ist ideal für alle hochwertigen Objektive, die man vor Kratzern und sonsigen Einwirkungen schützen möchte. Preisgünstige Filter kann man sich sparen, entweder sie passen nicht vernünftig, schlucken zu viel Licht oder verzerren das Bild. Ein hochwertiger Filter jedoch kann einem so manche Reparaturkosten und jede Menge Ärger ersparen. Der Manfrotto Schutzfilter sitzt sehr präzise auf dem Objektiv und lässt sich einfach reinigen. Ich bin mit meiner Kamera sehr viel auf Baustellen unterwegs, da kann es schon mal vorkommen, dass die Kamera, bzw. das Objektiv etwas abbekommt. Die Lichtdurchlässigkeit liegt bei diesem hochwertigen Filter immerhin bei 99,3 % und fällt somit so gut wie gar nicht ins Gewicht. Eine Investition, die sich auf lange Sicht bezahlt macht und die ich allen Sport- und Action-Fotografen, die viel draussen unterwegs sind, nur ans Herz legen kann.
Schade finde ich jedoch, dass Manfrotto seine Filter nicht in passgenaueren und vor allem exakt mit dem Inhalt beschrifteten Transportboxen liefert. Die eierförmige Standard-Klappbox aus Weichplastik entspricht einfach nicht der Art von Verpackung, die ich bei einem so hochwertigen Produkt erwarte. Bei diesem Schutzfilter fällt dies zwar nicht so sehr ins Gewicht, wenn man ihn ja eigentlich immer drauf hat und weniger in der Verpackung verstaut, doch bei Effektfiltern, die man häufig wechselt und nach dem Einsatz wieder verstauen will, führt dies bei jedem Filterwechsel zu einem kleinen Ärgernis.
Schade finde ich jedoch, dass Manfrotto seine Filter nicht in passgenaueren und vor allem exakt mit dem Inhalt beschrifteten Transportboxen liefert. Der Manfrotto Professional Schutzfilter ist hochwertig verarbeitet, beide Gewinde sind passgenau und leichtgängig. Auf das Objektiv aufgeschraubt trägt es nur 4,2 mm auf. Die Glasscheibe hat eine Lichtdurchlässigkeit von 99.3 % und ich sehe keine Unterschiede auf den Aufnahmen
Ich nutze bei meiner Kamera bisher meist einen einfachen UV Filter von Hama der auch als Objektivschutz meist immer drauf bleibt.
Ob das Glas kratzfest ist möchte ich jetzt nicht testen aber wasser- und ölabweisend stimmt, ich kann Handcreme einfach abwischen.
So kann ich hier fünf Sterne vergeben auch wenn ich mir so ein hochwertiges Schutzglas nicht gekauft hätte.
Dieses Produkt wurde mir kostenlos über das Amazon Vine-Programm zur Verfügung gestellt. Da ich mir dieses Produkt aus einem Pool gezielt aussucht habe, bestelle ich selten Artikel die ich nicht gebrauchen kann oder unpraktisch sind. Das führt dazu das Vine Produkte von mir überwiegend positiv bewertet werden. Trotzdem bewerte ich hier nicht anderes als bei gekaufter Ware.
