- + Качество звука очень хорошее. Покупал её число для прослушивания музыки в наушниках. Стоила копейки - около 50 баксов на eBay. Наушники на 50 Ом раскачала хорошо. Звук отличный. Инструменты не подключал, записью не пользовался.
Ранее пользовался внутренней аудиокартой, из-за чего были помехи в звуке. Внешняя карта USB исключает помехи от компьютера. - - Кривые драйвера, которые по началу слетали вместе со звуком и выдавали периодически синий экран...

Скорее всего, этому есть решение, но в FL Studio, когда на какой-либо канал вешаешь плагин, пропадает звук и приходится перезапускать драйвер в настройках FL Studio. Даже если этому есть решение, я считаю, что драйвера для столь популярной программы обязаны...

- + Хороший звук, шума не слышал, кроме самого шума от инструмента (у гитары нет экранирования и в микрофон попадали звуки плохо изолированной комнаты и свисты турбин ноутбука). Понятная индикация громкости.

2. ПО в комплекте просто царский подгон! Поэтому поставил оценку 5. В аудиоинтерфейсах других производителей такое не встретишь.
3. Качество звука. Слышны хвосты реверберации.
4. Тянут высокоомные наушники 250-600 ОМ - - Спустя 3 года стал шуметь при кручении регулятор громкости на наушниках. Но как оказалось это не страшная проблема. Нужно просто почистить резистор. Бывает такое что он загрязняется. После проблема полностью исчезает. Главное делать аккуратно. В общем Гугл в помощь или мастер если не умеете.
Также некоторые пользователи жалуются на то что отваливаются дрова в Windows 10...

I did a bit of research online and decided that I was very comfortable with this choice of audio interfaces for home recording. If you are using Pro Tools MP, then you only have M-Audio devices to choose from. One important thing to note is that this device is FireWire 400. Newer systems are very likely to be FireWire 800. What this means is that the standard cables that are included in the box with the Profire 610 will *not* connect to your computer (Mac Users - this means YOU). There is no problem with backward compatibility - you can absolutely use this with the FireWire 800 computers. But you will need to order a cable that is 400 on one end, and 800 on the other end. Search Amazon for these and you will find them for between $5-$10, or you can opt for an adapter instead. I recommend a high-quality cable (read the reviews), since some of the adapters and cheaper cables said they were poor fitting, intermittent, or could even cause shorts in the system. That's slightly off-topic, but something to consider when you're picking up one of these.I will post more info on this when I have done some recording. For now, my observations about the unit are that it is built very sturdy, the knobs feel good and have a snug, dampened feel when you turn them. The unit has lots of input and output options, and 2 headphone outs, with independent volume, which is nice. See my additional comments below about one issue with the unit, in terms of the design.

I got this as a present from my friends about 2 years ago for my birthday and honestly this is one present that I love to death. The Fast Track is a 2 input (1 xlr and 1 trs) portable interface that needs no extra power supply and connects directly to the computer by use of a USB. There are 3 knobs on the top of the unit that control mic gain (xlr), guitar gain (trs), and the main gain (output). When I first started up the unit, I had to download one driver from the CD thats given and that was it. I had to familiarize myself to how to use (being that I never owned an interface before this one) but even that was easy. The added Pro-Tools M Essentials that was supplied with the product is OK not great, but for me I was already using a different program so I had no need for this.Now onto the technical stuff. I have had no problems coming from this unit for the last 2 years whatsoever. Any snap, crackle, pop that I faced was often due to my microphone or even the xlr cable, but this unit has done wonders for me. The only drawback is that M-Audio only gave 1 xlr and 1 trs inputs whereas they could have given 2 xlr/trs combination input. But then again, that isnt their fault, they do have another product that has those features. The 48V phantom power is supplied and is good and I've used it on my AT2020 condenser mic with great results, but I would recommend a Mic Pre with this product (you dont HAVE to get immediately, I got my Mic Pre just recently after using the 48V Phantom Power excessively for the 2 years).The knobs themselves are very well placed at the top and they are bigger than many other volume knobs in its class. Whenever I am doing my own recording, I find it very easy to control the gain for my mic or guitar while recording. I can use just a single finger to turn the knob and this is very nice because it really reduces the strain that I get if I need to turn down the gain and I don't have anyone else able to do it for me.There is only 1 mic input which sucks if I have another singer and he needs a headphone too so this another design flaw but I've been able to manage with great results!So in all, I really recommend this product for the people looking for a backup interface to carry with them on trips/on the road, people on a budget, or even newcomers to the recording field. It does get the job done very well and you could potentially record your demo or first mixtape just using this product. Add a mixer to this baby and you could even record drums with great detail! So I give this 4/5 for the design flaws it has but honestly its a great buy. If you're looking for that budget friendly audio interface, this is the one!

I am a bit frustrated as I found out that the included software is not able to include 2nd party VSTs. No plug ins except for what thy provide and those sound like a Windows 95 Midi. I could record exprot midi and then mix down with another program that will do VSTs but that is a lot of extra time and the reason I purchased this was to save time. I wanted a DAW that was stable and able to handle my Plug ins. Well...I didnt get it. Over all it IS stable but, I think they should be a bit more clear that this is a very limited version of Pro Tools...its more like Amature Tools...that would be a better title. I expected that I would get a couple of limited plug ins and that I could just use the ones that I PAID FOR!!! but geting a good DAW seems impossible for any one that isnt selling Platanum records!

Clear and simple, M-Audio SUCKS!!! i have had a few of their interfaces, a lot of friends of mine too... they ALL have lots of problems and stop working pretty soon... i had a 410 and it had lots of problems every time i unpluged it, when i plug it again on my mac or on some other computher i needed to work with, i was a nightmare... it was never recognized, it never worked. And one day, IT NEVER EVER WORK AGAIN!The same history with my friends unit, it was a bigger one, like a console... with all those fancy faders and lights... same piece of s... it never worked... and it was a nightmare to install... you spend all of your time installing the driver over and over plugin unpluging... I HATE M-AUDIOif you buy m-audio... you deserve the headache XDoh and one last thing:M-AUDIO SUCKS!!!

Hi,I've been a long time Mac and PC user. I take the warnings from vendors about hot plugging the firewire ports seriously as is the case with the Firewire 410 which had been working nicely up until around the time of an automatic upgrade to OS X 10.6 with the device connected. I was careful - at all times. However, this device - per the myriad of postings on M-Audio's boards, reviews here, and various audio forums is just not worth the risk to use.I had the device working one minute. It was connected the whole time to my FW400 port. After the update my iMac (3G vintage 2008) went through some unusual cycles after rebooting - booting with black screen, stuck on apple logo screen, bad behavior after boot etc After powering everything down unplugging, removing the 410, powering on and geting in back, my firewire port was not working. No amount of the power cycling, power off, Apple recommended processes, firmware updates, device driver updates and DAYS of trying to get this to work again had an result other than proving the FW400 port was out. The FW400 was the only device connected other than a keyboard and mouse.Of course, this is just after my warranty ran out. Repair requires new logic board.This was my last straw with M-Audio. I have an Axiom-25 which is incredibly frustrating to use consistently with Ableton too to top it all off.I've been writing and producing electronic music for 20 years. I'm also an electrical engineer in the more advanced end of the IT spectrum. I know what I am doing. The user experience with this device in getting it going is unacceptable.It would have been the ideal device - but instead, its left me never wanting to buy an M-Audio product ever again despite the lure of their innovation and on paper, excellent looking products. What a shame.I'm looking elsewhere - shame the FW410 blew my ports - I'm now consigned to look at USB.

FINALLY a product that works properly under Windows 7 64-bit with Cubase 5.5!!!First I tried my Creative X-Fi which had decent ASIO drivers, but the general audio on the machine would become robotic and staticy randomly a couple times a day, which got really annoying. The only way to fix it was to reboot. I'd have thought I got a bad card if it wasn't for countless other reports online of people with the same problem in Vista 64-bit/Win7 64-bit.Next I tried an Asus Xonar Essence STX and their drivers didn't properly install the ASIO capability... Cubase did not see the cards as ASIO capable, and so I had no ASIO device. Foobar2000 did see the ASIO driver and work properly. But I just found it ironic that it didn't work properly with Cubase when Steinberg (the company that makes Cubase) created ASIO... clearly Asus was not up to spec. Returned it.Next I tried an ESI Maya44e thinking that since it came bundled with an old version of Cubase it would be guaranteed to work fine with it. Not the case! It worked okay, however every minute or two there was popping that would occur in the audio when using it through ASIO in Cubase, despite having low latencies :( The software package they had for the product was obviously stale and the company is based in Germany, so good luck getting tech support. I tried getting updated drivers and found many pages on their website... like the driver download page... resulted in a 404 error. Yeah, that inspires confidence. Returned it.Next up I tried a Presonus Firestudio Mobile. They seemed dedicated to serving the home musician community, and had good marketing materials and reputation, so I bought one. The problem with it was that in Win 7 64-bit, randomly after a couple of hours of serving up general audio from my PC, it would drop all audio until I either disabled and re-enabled the device, or restarted the PC. I tried to work with their tech support but once they ran out of their typical solutions like "try a different computer.. try a different cable.. make sure your DPC latency is not high.." etc., they got frustrated the tech support guy there named Jason got very insecure because he didn't know how to fix it. I was trying to tell him I'm a power user and have done all the research and also work for a company that makes drivers for computer hardware, so I'm not going to sit there and listen to ideas like defragging my system, or disabling Aero to solve a problem that happens across multiple machines and chipsets for me. I returned the Presonus because they refused to put me in contact with someone that was more knowledgeable there and they clearly had no solutions and kept blaming my high end system as the culprit.Finally I picked up this M-Audio 610. Before I was aware of this product, I had only seen some of their basic products and I thought they only made entry level crapware that was sold at Best Buy. However I was pleasantly surprised to find no popping in my audio, and that ASIO shows up and works beautifully in Cubase with.. get this.. 1 year old drivers. Yes M-Audio has had this working fine with Windows 7 64-bit for a year and has not needed to update their drivers. Meanwhile everyone else still struggles to properly QA their products.THANK YOU M-AUDIO!

All in all this is a hellish little device. When it's working, it does a great deal very well - I'm very happy with the sound quality, and wide combinations of inputs and outputs. It's been useful for surround mixing, midi, vocal and instrument recording, DAC converting from SDPIF to analogue and more.The problem is that it's a technological prima donna and wants to be cajoled, begged, wined and dined before it will work. And the next day it will change its mind you have to start all over. It's anybody's guess when it will choose to work and when it won't - I've probably spent more time reinstalling drivers and swapping round cables and ports on my Powermac, endlessly shutting down, powering it down, restarting and hoping for the best, than I've actually spent working with it. And god forbid you should hot plug it, or you might just fry your FW port - not very encouraging.It's a firewire device that doesn't like other firewire devices, or firewire in general. Perhaps if you give it a whole Firewire PCIe to itself you might have more luck, but I don't have a spare slot or the patience.My personal conclusion is that audio interfaces just aren't meant to run on Firewire. It's a nice idea but it doesn't really work. I would strongly suggest finding another solution that doesn't involve firewire, this has been around for a while now and there must be better alternatives.I've given it two stars, to balance the 5 when it's working and the zero when it's not in the mood.

Really enjoyed getting this product in the mail. The box isn't too large, but it sure is sturdy. The rubber stops on the bottom of it allow you to put it on just about any surface and not have to worry about it sliding around. It stays put as if it was bolted down. It was easy to install, and works great with Logic. The sound I get from it is amazing compared to my older Tascam board. I highly recommend it if you want something that works with your computer.

***THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL QUALITY ANYTHING....DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SAYS. ANY REVIEW BEYOND 2 STARS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO'S NEVER EXPERIENCED THE FUNCIONALITY, QUALITY, & SOUND OF A REAL PROFESSIONAL INTERFACE***First of all....RCA outs...really?....how hard would it've been to throw some balanced outs on these things guys???.... Very weak output/volume, cheap plastic (weighs almost nothing), highly susceptible to interference related noise for many reasons including the aforementioned. It's not even worth the low price tag. I finally did something about mine & replaced it with a used Presonus Firebox & I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. There's no comparing the quality of the preamps, features, & build, it's just not fair to the Fast Track. Regardless of experience level, you can't help but notice the enormous difference in sound quality & volume once you get away from the Fast Track & upgrade to a real interface. I suppose I can't speak for the Fast Track Pro or some of M Audio's other higher end units but I'll personally never take another chance on a company that made the embarassing Fast Track & called it, or even hinted that it was "professional". MISLEADING TO SAY THE LEAST. I've been a long time user of Presonus (USB Audiobox, Firestudio) & they're TRULY professional quality interfaces & I know I can rely on them while others fail to compare. Beware using firewires with Windows 7 though. It's pretty hit or miss...mostly miss. I got away from PCs for direct recording & only trust in my Mac for that but just a word to the wise.

ive been working with this for over 2 yers now and its awesome! the only this is that the prottools mpowered 8 it comes with isnt full! you have to by the full version online and when i go to upgrade it, they dont have it anymore!!!!! so im stuck with the trial version... but the mbox is awesome, but just know, that this mbox WILL NOT work with any other protools. this box only powers MPOWERED protools. it will not work on protools LE or anyhting like that..

I purchased this as a replacement for my E-MU 1818 as the E-MU no longer had up to date drivers, specifically for Windows 7 64-bit. Once I installed a PCI-E Firewire card I was good to go. The install was very easy and it came right up. Loaded Sonar X2 and I was recording in no time. So far it has worked really well. It's quiet and no cross talk. It took me a bit to figure out the headphone outs as the volume was really low and apparently they are dependent on the master volume. That's probably my only complaint as the headphone outs are still pretty low volume.

the m audio was working good when i use it with my pc but i sold the pc and brought a mac and somehow its not working with the mac...im trying to contact a technician to help me with it...so now im not using it as yet until i get it to work on the mac i wonder if the version of the mac is too high for it which is a 10.8mac version..

m-audio does not work with ultrabook because the computer must have a strong source of energy. This product should accept a new energy source instead of using just the usb cable.

This product arrived quickly and works perfectly. I didn't even have to use the driver CD that came with it, as Win7 was able to figure out how to work it just fine. A little tweaking of audio input settings in your favorite program and you're good to go.

Problem with connecting the 6-pin firewire port on the ProFire to my Mac book Pro with a Thunderbolt port. Contacted ProFire Tech support to no avail. worked it out myself with a series of adaptors. Otherwise, it seems to work fine.

I've been using M-Audio products for over 10 years now - audio interface, midi keyboard, trigger finger, preamp, monitors - you name it... In all those years, beside one issue w/ drivers (easily fixed by rolling back to previous version) and one issue w/ a monitor (which was repaired and returned to me within a week), I've had nothing but good experiences with M-Audio. I would not go as far as ranking their products as top-notch, but they are usually solid and reliable. Also, M Audio has regularly been issuing updated drivers for my old Delta 44 ever since I got it, 11 years ago. Talk about product longevity...The Fast Track I bought for my portable Mac based setup. I wasn't expecting much out of the preamps, particularly after reading the poor reviews, but I just finished a basic demo session using nothing but the built-in preamp to track the guitars and the results were good enough. Of course, don't expect the same quality as w/ a dedicated preamp, but the Fast Track provided plenty enough gain, even getting in the red with the gain knob somewhere around 7, something I really wasn't expecting.For the rest, I am not disappointed - it performs just as I expected: low latency and respectable track count. I'm working w/ Logic and performance has been flawless.On the more negative side, the plastic casing does look a bit cheap and the only outputs available are RCA. But at that price, one can't really complain.So basically, you get a well designed low latency USB interface, with direct monitoring at the push of a button, solid drivers, two inputs, phantom power for your condenser mic, a basic preamp. Not bad at all for the price.On a side note - don't expect too much out of the bundled software; it's pretty much just an entry level version of Pro Tools, sort of a teaser to get you hooked. My own experiences w/ Pro Tools (on the PC) has left me believing that Avid is rather picky in terms of hardware compatibility - crashes, poor performance, etc. I didn't even bother to install this LE version.

It's a real nice piece of equipment. Small, easy to set up and good overall quality. If only the volume knobs where not made of plastic, it would have been a work of art!
