I have purchased this item and used it for one week. It is fast , I like the screen size and the phone is really fast. As it is mentioned in many reviews, the camera is not as good as similar phones. But I believe the phone totally worth price and much cheaper than its competitors. This version is unlocked att one and I need it for my straighttalk, so several annoying att apps were on it. You can disable all of them but att address book and it bumps up every single time you want to use contacts. I struggled a lot with it for 2 days, finally I figured out that by rooting a phone (using simple free available programs to download on your PC) you have access to uninstall all undesired apps without loosing any data (you also need to install a managing app after rooting). Now I removed all the att apps and the phone is as I like it. Also you can specify several features to save battery life (visual instruction available on att site for this particular smartphone). I totally suggest this item to a friend (Till now I have not seen any problem).

Wow It is great! It is so fast, work perfectly. In Venezuela you need configure the internet acces point or go to your prefered operator . If you have Movistar in Venezuela you can configure the internet: Go to (ajustes, redes y conexiones,redes móviles, Nombres de puntos de acceso: Nombre movistar WAP APN wap.movistar.ve Proxy 200.35.64.73 Puerto 9001 MCC 734 MNC 04 Tipo de APN default). With movistar work perfectly. Quad-core amazing and 2Gb RAM made this phone better than phone of 500$. This I received is E970, there are people that buy the E975 and it have a different camera of 13 Mp without expandible memory. E970 has a camera of 8 Mp and expandible memory. The meaning point is that sometimes you need to configure the APN in order to enjoy internet, if you doesn't do the APN configuration you will think that the phone doesn't work 3G. I recommend you see other phone that works with your prefered operator and copy the APN information and your phone, will work perfectly in 3G or 4G.

I ordered A used optimus g from a seller on amazon named umoou. I was skeptical at first, as the handset was used And had been rooting and was running on a custom version of Kitkat. I also wondered about the speed of shipping, because standard shipping was the only method available to choose from. I contacted the seller and he told me he was shipping from New York, and that set my mind at ease slightly since I was in Indiana, I thought it'd be a week or week and a half. But those ideas I had in mind would disappear when I checked the tracking on the package two days later to find it was in my town and out for delivery! Once I got the phone in my hands all of my fears were shown to be completely unfounded. I found the phone to be in almost perfect condition, and although the seller had clearly stated in the description that what I was buying was the phone only, he is nice enough to include a 16 gigabyte Micro SD card and also a nice case for the phone. The custom version of Kit Kat also ran smoothly and was very cool. In conclusion this is a great handset, and I would not hesitate for a second to purchase an item from umoou again!

I have shopped, online and in the store at each of the three carrier and finally decided to purchased this unlocked phone and stayed with my carrier rather than switching...sometimes you can't tell by the image until you have the touch and feel of the device in your hand...and i am here to tell you...if you are looking for screen that is bigger than an iPhone (i had that) and smaller than a Note - look no more...this is your phone...but that's just the physical trait...the processor speed on this thing is phenomenon and the clarity....and the battery life...I have it on for almost 24 hours now...and i still have at least 30% left (but probably because i havent been able to get my data to work yet)...it uses a micro SIM (not included) and the unlocked code (included). I am currently having trouble accessing my tmobile data on this phone but i am sure that's user's error than the device....so if you are still searching...stop...this is the phone for you...not too big of a screen an not too small that you need magnifying glasses to see...

Had this phone since it came out and at the time I got it free with contract. Btw screw the contract bulsh*t. The phone is great honestly had never had any issues with it however there are a few drawbacks with it being that it is definitely aging. Such as there arent anymore updates for it I think, and stuck with 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Unless of course you root it and all that jazz which I did do to my phone but decided not to install any roms to get Ice Cream Sandwich or even Jelly Bean, which Im not even sure if this phone is able to get those upgrades. Before I rooted my G2x I did have a few problems with the phone freezing up and needing to take out the battery to reboot. MAYBE it could have fixed itself if I had given it time? I dont know but something like that is definitely irritating but not anything worth spitting on the phone over.Coming from a Droid I really miss having the LED notification light blinking and telling me I have a text or missed call. Sadly this phone (among so many others) dont have that function. Ohwell...Everything else Id say is very good as far as battery life: dont abuse apps and screen brightness and I get over 15 hours with normal usage.Screen brightness is very good. Call quality no complaints. People have said that speakers arent working properly or that only one is working... basically on the bottom of the phone, there is only one speaker and the other is the microphone. I can say that id like to see the loudness be a little better with the speaker such as with playing music, but that can be just my phone im not sure.Honestly I can sit here and type everything about this phone since ive had it forever but im not going to. Ive had no regrets with it and dont see myself having another phone for quite sometime. The poor souls who talk crap about it must have gotten a lemon in the first place.Rooting it is going to come in handy with this phone as well and can do many other things. The rooting process for this phone is very simple you should have no issues with doing it yourself.Also after rooting it, so far I have not had any issues with the phone freezing or needing to reboot it. And am sure other minor bugs can be fixed with doing this as well. Of course with this phone, there is so many apps that are garbage that you can do without. So once rooting, get rid of them and save up space on the device and save battery life and performance overall. Overall, Love my phone! Does not deserve anything less than good marks.

I knew that this was a retired model before I bought it. However, the newer version is bigger and that is not what I wanted. This phone is almost too big as it is. It runs great and resolved issues that I had with my older LG Thrill 3D phone.That said.Pros: Quad-core with 2gb of Ram.8gb built in storage with SD card slot. (SD slot not available on the international and T-Mobile versions)Screen is large and responsive.Call quality is goodBluetooth connectivity is excellent.Cons: really nothing other than size. A little too large.Discontinued model... too bad since it works well and is smaller than the replacementunable to easily access the battery. This is mostly ok with me.One important note. I did not see where the description of this phone says it uses a micro sim card. Standard sim cards can be cut down to fit in this phone however.

Did alot of research before I chose this phone. It was between the lg optimus g, Samsung galaxy s3, samsung Galaxy note2, and the htc one x+.I wanted the note2 the most, but @$300 on contract it was just too much money for a phone.The GS3 came in second, but I didn't like the rounded corners. Also was a little steep on price @$125-150 on contract given that it has been out for 6 months now.What I liked about the one x+ was the fact it has 64gb of memory and jellybean update preinstalled out of the box. But lack of expandable storage, non-removable battery, only 1gb of ram (the GS3, note 2, and optimus g all have 2gb of ram), and at the time was $169-$199 on contract, killed it for me.In the end, the Optimus G won out for several reasons:1. 16gb on-board storage+ 16gb micro sd card included.2. I really liked the square form-factor the most. Kind of a simple, industrial look.3. Pretty much top-notch specs at the moment.4. Closest sibling to the Nexus4.5. Gorgeous screen. I think I drooled a little bit the first time I watched an hd video on it. FYI, I'm pretty sure LG makes the displays for the iphone.6. Excellent value @$80 on contract (even cheaper now too).7. No random reboots! If you have had the privelige of owning an Atrix, you know where I'm coming from.8. Very fast! I played with the GS3 along side this and it seems faster than the gs3. Very little, if any, lag.9. No physical "Home" button to wear out unlike the Samsung and Apple phones.A few thing I dont like about the Optimus G:1. Still on ics. Though Jelly Bean has been released in S. Korea and should be coming to the U.S. anytime. Also, LG's track record of timely os updates or updates at all, have been suspect. Hopefully that gets better. This bad boy shouldn't have any trouble running Key Lime Pie.2. Lack of heavy duty cases for the AT&T version. I picked up a tpu case and a diztronic for it, but nothing more substantial like an otterbox defender or a Seidio Convert is out for it yet. This isn't really of any fault of the phone though, just is what it is.3. Notification light is around the power button instead of on the front of the device.4. The default keyboard is pretty buggy. It has the option for the regular android keyboard so I use that one instead.

I've had this phone for NINE MONTHS, and it works like a dream. It has replaced my tablet for emailing, reading (sometimes), to do lists/ reminders, watch shows and movies during down time, and accessing social media. The G is very fast, and has frozen less than 5 times since I bought it. It does everything I can think of to do a phone, and it does all those things very well. It's replaced my alarm clock, GPS console, digital camera, flashlight, tablet, kindle, etc.Typing this, I realize that we're very close to marriage. Weirdly enough, I did this on my laptop.

Excellent phone once you root it and uninstall all AT&T crap!!!! (of course if you will not use it in AT&T network)... Otherwise the ROM of at&t will make you life miserable... For example each time you open your contacts, it opens the "AT&T Address book" instead your normal android address book. You need to tap back button each time to go to android address book.... this is really annoying!! and of course this can't be uninstalled unless you root the phone and use a third party uninstaller.Other fatal issue I found in this phone is that is impossible to enable the wifi hotspot, Wifi tethering. (Of course in different networks that AT&T)... I tried to enable tethering fuction in normal way (settings>tethering & networks>Mobile Hotspot), and with several apps for this purpose (almost 15) and was absolutly impossible in each and all these ways... Also I tried with several carriers (diffent sims), and the same problem...Thats all so far. Sorry for my english!

This is an amazing phone. It's got the fastest processor currently available in an Android phone in the S4 Pro (as of 11/21 anyways) and it's got 2GB of dual channel RAM. This thing is smoking fast.Pros-Fast. Everything I do on this phone is silky smooth and responsive. And this is only ICS, meaning that it will be even better when it gets Jelly Bean and its graphical enhancements (aka project butter).-Well Built. This phone feels sleek and expensive, but at the same time not too heavy. Just be careful, since with glass on both the front and the back this phone will slide off the arm of the couch or out of your pocket if you put your feet up too high. It will happen more than you think.-Development Potential. It's gotten off to a slow start, but they just unlocked the bootloader over at XDA forums so custom ROMs are inbound. Also, this is basically the same phone as the Nexus 4 aka the Google Developer phone. This will get a lot of custom ROMs once more people start getting their Nexus 4 and start developing for it.-Screen. It's beautiful. The best screen I've ever seen on a phone, and IMHO better than the One X. Not by a lot, mind you, but I think this is a little more true to color with cleaner whites. This is all based on personal preference, but I really love the screen on this phone.-Battery. YMMV, but for me it lasts plenty long enough despite the fact that it's new and I can't help but constantly mess with it. At the end of the last few days I've been putting it on the charger before bed with 25% or more left, and when it's not so new and I'm not constantly tinkering with it I can see that number going up to 35-40% at the end of every day.Cons-Glass Everywhere. It looks cool and it feels great in the hand, but be careful. I'm terrified of what happens the first time I drop this thing on a hard surface.-Optimus Rom. I'm not a huge fan of LG's custom skin, but I know it's only temporary as AOSP Jelly Bean ROMs are on the way! And to be honest, it's really not that bad, especially since you can put whatever launcher you want on it from the Play Store and use it instead.With the recent price drop, this phone is a no-brainer. Get it, you'll love it. However, if you're prone to dropping your phone a lot, maybe look at the One X+ or the SGS3 instead since I don't think this will hold up to a ton of drops and falls without cracking one of the two large glass panels.

The jump has been great, starting because Android has all the applications and for having in this world (that's what actually matters). The phone is very fast to download and upload files due to its 4G LTE 900Mhz and 2100Mhz, its 32GB of internal storage is more than enough to download endless apps and place all the music you want (not to mention bring disadvantage microSD memory port for it is absurd). The HD resolution True HD IPS LCD screen is pretty good although I prefer my special Super AMOLED screens because I am a born player, in this case the phone plays best natural tones (to view photos or videos) but it is not suitable screen to play. The size, thickness and design is among the best. Speaking of speed, 4-core processor with 2GB of RAM make excelentemete his work (I have not had setbacks with many applications open at the same time, with all that, if I have a 500MB of free RAM). I only thing I miss in this phone is a dedicated camera button and what I can talk bad is precisely the quality of it, despite having a camera sensor 13Mpx leaves much to be desired, not bad, but could be better (I've had camera phones 8Mpx best). In conslusion, for the price. . . this phone is the best deal out there in the market, is the phone with the best performance / value....

This phone has all the bells and whistles one could ask for! ...well ALMOST all.The short of it:-In my opinion the battery life is not the best. Fully charged, used constantly for 2 hours on wi-fi (unsecured obviously), alternating between 2G & 3G network as I was doing various tests, GPS not active, screen brightness under 50% brightness (default setting), closed unnecessary apps (calender, weather and other default open apps), battery was down to 68% after 2 hours.-The deal breaker for me however is this phone does NOT support tkip+aes encryption and does not specify that information anywhere so you can know that before you buy. This is probably going to be a problem if you require a password to access your wireless network (802.11b/g/n).Again this phone boasts support for "WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n" (as quoted from the Technical Details of the product on Amazon). It is assumed, and rightfully SHOULD be assumed, that any product on the market today that claims it supports 802.11b/g/n ALSO supports the encryption/security standards that are accompanied with those protocols. This phone does not. As verified by LG via LG's customer service chat, this phone does not support tkip+aes encryption. The phone DOES support 802.11x unsecured but as soon as you require a password using tkip+aes encryption to access your wireless network, no joy.After my chat with LG I got back on chat 20 minutes later (got the same guy) to ask them "if the phone doesn't support tkip+aes, then what encryption methods DOES is support?" They "couldn't get me that information" as my phone model {LGP990) was the international model and they don't have access to that information. When I asked them how they knew 20 minutes ago that my phone doesn't support tkip+aes they told me they thought I was talking about the LGP999 (US model). I have an emailed copy of the first chat transcript that proves I specifically said LGP990, NOT LGP999. They also said they couldn't get me techinical details because "there could be differences" between the models. In any case it's obvious that neither the LGP990 nor the LGP999 support tkip+aes. If you want to use secure wi-fi, beware this may not be the phone for you.Note this problem could be easily fixed via a firmware update. I officially asked them to put in a request for LG to work on building an update that fixes this problem. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it though. I'm returning the phone for a refund. Phone is in the mail as I type.I would also like to point out that my wife(android phone) & daughter's phones (each 1/2 the cost of the Optimus 2x and OLDER) work fine on my secured wireless network using tkip+aes. As does my wife's tablet(Android). And also my PSP, PS3, 4 laptops, and desktop all work perfectly on my network using tkip+aes.Yesterday I ordered the Motorola Atrix 4G Motorola Atrix Unlocked 4G Cell Phone with Android 2.2 OS. 4-inch HD touchscreen to replace the LG. I verified with Motorola via chat that the Atrix DOES support tkip+aes encryption (it does). I also sent them my router specs (as seen below) and they said I shouldn't have any problems.The Atrix 4g has almost exactly the same specs as the Optimus 2x including the same processor and 4" screen but is physically smaller (117.8 x 63.5 x 11mm vs LG's 123.9 x 63.2 x 10.9mm), has double the internal storage (16GB vs LG's 8GB), has double the RAM (1GB vs LG's 512MB), and has better screen resolution (540 x 960 pixels vs LG's 480 x 800 pixels). It does lose when it comes to the main camera though (5MP vs LG's 8MP). There are a few other ways each one is better/worse than the other but I hit the main points. Amazingly Good!Pros:- It has Micro SD card Slot (16GB internal and external)- 1.5ghz Quad-core Snapdragon processor- NFC Tap (I tried it with nexus 7 2013)- Descent HD Video Playback- 3D graphics sometimes aren't fast enough (but It depends)- 8MP Camera (1080p HD Video Camcorder)- True HD Display (almost same like Nexus 7 2013)- 2GB Ram (yes sir, this guy runs smooth because of this)Cons:- Battery Life is short (if you didn't enable ECO Mode)- some apps eating a lot of RAM like Facebook- 4G in some countries won't work.- if you have a Mini-sim, you'll be needing some measuring and cutting to fit in for this phone.This phone is great, but if you aren't sure to buy it with its good price, you can search for anotherphone that you can compare with this one. I would like to recommend it to a friend if he/shecannot afford another smartphone.

The phone itself is great, i love this phone. I won't bore you with the details of the performance i will just leave it at the fact that this is a very fast phone. However, the back of this phone has a sheet of glass on it that I broke by setting it down on black top that was apparently to hot, the back just completely spider webbed. my friend who i convinced into buying this phone shattered the back by sliding it on a tile floor to someone to show them a picture. This really doesn't affect the phone its just an eye sore that can get in the way of the camera as well.

LG knocks the other smartphones into the dust with the Optims G quad core phone. Atter about a month, I can tell you:The quad processor, 2 gigs of RAM and Ice Cream Sandwich software make the Optimus G amazingly fast, and I'm only running it on the 3G network. The conventional Android Facebook app that took my Evo 4G about five seconds and more to load, is now up and running on the Optimus G in two seconds. Click, look, and its on.I can only imagine how monster fast this is going to become when the 4G LTE network kicks in.The Optimus G also has an absolutely gorgeous screen. It's clarity, color accuracy, depth and brightness are teriffic and it shines through even the light of day. Most times I am running the screen at only half brightness.The camera's image and color quality are EXCELLENT, really something to write home about. It's unlike any camera phone I've used in the Android world. At 13 megapixels it is beyond par with iPhone pix. I find that it handles low light better than most point and shoots did a year ago.The battery lasts for two days at a time. That includes running a live wallpaper, picture taking, an hour of mp3s a day through Bluetooth headphones, texting, web surfing, social networking, calls, and running the alarm clock overnight.Initiially, I had some dodgy audio on phone calls, but after a month, the calls are routine with no problem on either end of the line and no dropped calls.The aesthetics of the phone are a very elegant, slim and tall, high gloss black case made of glass, front and back. It would be at home coming out of the breast pocket of a tux. And It resists smudges, front and back, EXTREMELY well. The build qualty is top notch, too.I've found I can edit all seven screens with ease, rearrange their order easily, and share photos to texts and social networks simply and quickly. It also woks well with my DropboxThe voice to text and voice search mechanisms are teriffic. There have only been a couple of translations that required a tweak in a month.I also like the placement of the power, screen on/off button on the side (as opposed to the top). At 4.7 inches and tall, it lets me fire up the phone with one hand as I take it out of my pocket.

This phone is my baby and I love it deeply. However with every person there are faults.PROS:-The speed, this being a quad core phone it has amazing speeds that are super fast.-The screen may not be the brightest, but this phone has a great screen that is beautiful to look at.-This phone unlike most android phones is beautiful to look at and isn't made of cheap feeling plastic. LG made the Prada phone, which was one of the most beautiful looking phones to be made, and this as well has the same feel. The glass on the back is really cool with its dotted pattern. It feels more like an expensive piece of jewelry.-Where I live LTE connections are good and the speeds are pretty fast. The highest download speed I've had so far is 20mbps on LTE so when you get it, the connection is outstanding.-Even with Icecream Sandwich the phone is ridiculously smooth, and with Jellybean coming along it will be even smoother.CONS:-The Camera... The camera is not acceptable for a high end smartphone, and this goes to show that the more megapixels you have doesn't make a difference if the phone can't focus properly. A lot of the photos that I have taken have come out blurry and it's pretty hard to focus on something properly and take a clear image. The camera is absolutely horrible in the dark and cannot pick up light.-The fact that it doesn't come stock with Jellybean-Unable to reach the SIM card as well as a slot for microSD, but its okay because the phone comes with 32gb of internal and 50gbs of cloud storage so I am fine with that.SO overall I really do love this phone, and I did not buy it to take high quality pictures,but the pros I feel weigh over the cons and using it has really made me fall in love with it. The gorilla glass 2 holds up pretty well, however my first one I cracked from placing the phone down on the screen side pretty gently, so I would highly recommend a case.

I have had two of these phones now because the speaker quit working on the first after about 3 months. This is the worst phone I have ever owned (this review is independent of the speaker breaking because 1 issue could be bad luck with that phone.) Sound quality is ok at best, picture quality is good, touch screen works when it wants to and sometimes registers nothing when tapped and other times registers 3-4 taps for every one touch. The battery is ok not that great and if you are actually using this "blazing fast" quadcore you better have it plugged in. I will never buy another LG product because this phone was so awful and it was supposed to be a "flagship" phone. Huge disappointment, buyer beware there are many other phones out there and most of them are better than this garbage.

LG has always made a quality phones. This phone is no different and their hardware is top of the line. Feel and look is of a high end phone and specs are all top notch. Phone is really fast and I was able to buy brand new on sale for $186. For that price it beat all other phones for similar specs. Only thing I don't like about LG phones is that they really don't care about upgrading your firmware after they sell the phone, which is a shame because their phones are really capable of great things. For the same price this phone would be a much better choice than Motorola Moto G or even Blu Life Pure Mini (I own both).

I received the Lg phone, which has included headphones, which is a very negative detail since it acquired for $ 300 at the time.truth disappointed with this detail must now acquire a headset or headphones. I'll be testing the equipment to give them information about the performance.

The first couple of weeks with this phone were absolutely frustrating. The response was incredibly slow and it had a knack for freezing. After owning it for the second week, it turned off and was unable to get past the splash screen. What made this so frustrating was how badly I wanted the phone to work. The phone is absolutely gorgeous and I could tell I would end up keeping it for years to come. I searched everywhere for how to fix the problem without sending the phone back. Apparently, this phone's original firmware is very dodgy.If you're interested in getting this phone, I suggest the first thing you do is update the firmware. Here's how I did it.what you need:- LGMulti v3.0 + kf900 DLL here: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting (refer to[...] for updated link)- firmware here: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting (check in the firmware list for the latest)- USB data cable- your bricked (stucking on ***** logo) KF900remove the batteryopen USBMap and select infiniteon, then "mapping start", and connect your mobile (WITHOUT BATTERY).not sure if I did it in emergency mode or not, anyway if doesn't work simply press send (green) and function (C) buttons togethere while plugging the usb cable.once the computer has recognized your mobile click save&exit.now open GSMulti and choose the right DLL and .bin files you've just downloaded.click start and wait a while..first it didn't recognize my mobile..I tried unplugging and plugging it in again while pressing send and func buttons and after a while it started uploading the firmware to the mobile.After updating the firmware I found the phone to be absolutely amazing! It's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Sure, it's a little dated in comparison to the newest iPhone etc., but it's extremely attractive and the slide out qwerty keyboard is a huge bonus! After the firmware update I found it to get better usb reception, it works a hell of a lot faster, and never locks up.What I like most about it;-Despite other reviewers, I find the build quality incredible. It feels like something Prada would make.-It's very attractive, especially with the black leather case. Get yourself screen covers to keep it looking mint.-In comparison to the Prada I, the added multi-tasking, better network, wifi access, qwerty keyboard, widgets, and even the fact that I can access all of my media from one button are major upgrades. Access to media from one button sounds small, but it was rather annoying to go to media> external storage> media> images just to look at the photos you put on your micro card. Well, at least for me it was, which I change the wallpaper on almost a daily basis. Also, on the Prada I you couldn't play an album in the media player from your external storage. You had to add songs to a playlist first. Again, I just find the Prada II leaps and bounds above its predecessor.-The images, videos, and music files already installed on the phone are actually quite nice. I found the preinstalled ringtones very fitting of the phone, and decided to use those over ones I personally downloaded. Even the "sleep-mode" slideshow you see when the phone is locked is really quite nice.-One of the reasons I bought not only the Prada II, but Prada I, and the LG Vu over the iPhone is because of the UI. On all three, the interface is quite attractive, and the only improve on it more with the Prada II.I'm incredibly happy with this phone, and I certainly suggest anyone looking for a fashion phone to try it out. I've already put money aside for the Prada Link just because of how happy I am with this phone. However, it's definitely a must to update the firmware as soon as you get it.

Bought a used phone from seller and it had very minor scuff marks on the back of the phone. Flashed it to the nightly Cyanogen Mod 11 rom and works great.Phone was almost double on ebay.Great phone for Straight Talk ATT or T-Mobile micro sim card from Walmart will work.

It`s horrifying to be not able to remove the battery, also sim card is on the left side that can be easily removed by someone. My boy 2 year old boy just did it. Other than this it`s great with 2gb ram, memory card is fast, boots fast, because of performance it`s supported on many android mods. Recommend but consider first points before buying.

I am not a kind of guy who usually write review for product, but I felt bad because i read reviews before buying any product, So I decided to write review for this phone. I bought this phone for around 200$, I have planned to buy Moto G but when i compared this phone with Moto G this one was better both spec wise and memory wise. I am happy that I bought this phone. I recommend buying this phone. The only thing I didn't like is its difficult to handle it with one hand, due to its size, it is pretty much same size as S4.
