- + 3 вида подключения.
- - не равномерный чёрный, у TN матриц чёрный намного лучше. фиолетовая или лиловая или серая засветка в углах.
заменил им свой старый Samsung 757MB (17" CRT)

- + Тонкий, стильный, экран не бликует, подсветку питания можно выключить, равномерная подсветка экрана
- - Если вы берете для работы с фото, видео, дизайн знайте это чемпион по вранью цветов. Может только с калибратором возможно его настроить?

яркость 65 контрастность...

- + Дизайн действительно утонченный. Захотелось купить облегченную клавиатуру и разместить все это на стеклянный столик)
- - Led действительно не просто а super led – при открытии страниц с белым фоном в Интернете, ощущение, будто фарами в глаза светят. И яркость ниже половины убрал и контраст, жертвуя сочностью цветов. Все равно — одним словом просто «долбит»! Поймете, что я имею в виду, если хоть раз читали книгу под прямыми лучами солнца. Еще один недостаток...

Учитывая параметры и наличие HDMI, цена на момент покупки (18 января 2011)- лучшая -7 800 руб!

- + Равномерная подсветка, дизайн, хорошие углы обзора, удобное меню настройки, запас яркости очень большой, цвета сочные.
- - Когда покупал, монитор не хотел выдавать изображение с видяхи, вместо это показывал табличку "D-SUB энергосберегающий режим", и, собственно, переходил в спящий режим... Пришлось взять другой монитор той же модели. Наверное, просто брак.
Работает себе, почти не греется, дизайн - обалденный, пыль особо не липнет. Как только дома включил - сразу заметил, что цвета уходят куда-то в сторону желто-салатового...

- + LED LCD, битых пикселей не обнаружено, отличные углы обзора, нет засветок по краям, равномерная подсветка, дизайн (2350 VR меня не устроил свиоми замыленными формами), глубокие сочные цвета (зависит от того как вы настроите гамму и температуру), HDMI, VGA, DVI, синий светодиод можно отключить если кому мешает, удобное меню - каждый пункт меню отображается над кнопками, кот распол на нижнем торце),...

клевый моник
- + широформатный, иногда дома читаешь или редактируешь что то по работе - просто идилия, еще и в куче с windows 7 который поровну делит раюочий стол, ну а что уже говорить о премуществах тв тюнера - иногда даже помагает решать семейные конфликты (когда жена хочет смотреть что то другое)
- - если сесть и по сути разобраться в размерах то 23 этих дюйма (широких) на самом деле являються ну максимум 20-ю обычными не широкоформатными
для дома просто замечательная покупка, таких бы побольше и по меньшей цене, супер

- + Монитор - лучше не придумаешь! Всё в нем по теме. Кто возьмет - никогда не пожалеет! Кроме мони, ТВ тюнер - супер!

- + Показывает эти ваши ынтронеты, а большего мне от него и не надо, до 19 года играл бывало, кины никогда не смотрел.
Для кин есть телявизир 46", для игр в 19 годе приобрёл X1X и играю на том-жы телеке. - - Есть битые пиксели (штуки три ужо), но с того расстояния, как я смотрю их не видно,...

Just bought one of these today and before I get use to it I must say:The color is nice. There is a lot of back light bleed, which is annoying.Blacks are dark at the sacrifice of detail. The black is just plain washed outand muddy with no detail. Big blobs of black everywhere. The Color really is nice though. perhaps a productof the pumped up back light and ips panel. There is a greyed out ( locked )control for black level. It is set to high. If I could access this andturn down I am sure I would not be returning this monitor later this week. My comparison monitor is my LG E2360. I like it better. The color is not asrich but the detail level in everything is much higher and I don't have tobuy a monitor calibrator to be happy. I tried several time to tweek the levels but just can't get this monitor tobehave better compared to HP and LG TN panels. Sorry but the ips hype is hyped.***UPDATE*** It has been a week or two. I unlocked the Black Level with an HDMIcable; from a DVI-D, per LG customer support direction. That did not help at all. The monitorshould be at high level.I had to go into Windows Screen Calibration to have enough adjustment to render themonitor watchable. ( when I am not editing Photoshop, mixing music in Protoolsor surfing; I am watching movies on Netflix ). With the Contrast or Brightnessadjusted through Windows the screen is not that much different from my old LG.The Color is a bit richer, maybe distortion and eye strain are a little less.That is very subjective. I was happy with my old LG but the stand broke. ThisMonitor BTW has a fairly sturdy stand. I tilt mine several times a day, to work orto watch a movie. Not a sturdy as a Pro. Dell but this is a nice monitor for $200when you adjust it properly....~cheers~

I ran across a blogpost regarding an online color hue test and other info at the following website: [...]It went into depth about human's perception of color and referred to this online test. Knowing that obvious color differences could be affected by different monitors I decided to do a study between my old LG monitor and this new LG IPS monitor.Okay, let me break it down for you. I started off with a trial run, just to get the gist of what was happening with the test. I didn't time it and wasn't really paying too much attention. I got a 66 with just doing a quick run.I then got serious. I set myself 5 minutes on a stopwatch to sort and place the hues. I think this was adequate as when the timer went off I felt pretty satisfied with what I had in front of me. I sorted the obvious colors to their respective extremes and then spent the rest of the time comparing from the outside in.First monitor is an LG L226WTQ-BF (TN LCD Screen) made in 2007 I've had for probably 5 years (until today). I scored a 40.Fed Ex guy showed up with my new monitor and I plugged it in. It is an LG IPS235V-BN (IPS LED Screen). I again set my stopwatch to 5 minutes. This time, I felt I was generally satisfied with my sort quicker... I had more time to critique and it felt easier. I scored an 8.I think this pretty much validates the improved color representation of an IPS screen vs a traditional TN screen.

+Excellent colors*+Nice viewing angle (an advantage to the technology of IPS+Matte (a big plus for me since my desk is against a window, plus a lamp when it's not daylight+1080p (standard on most monitors today)+Able to turn off indicator LED when not in use (another positive for me since I'm autistic+OCD so I notice things like that)-Glossy stand (not a big deal if you clean often)-Tilt only-Colors aren't as rich as they could be on the default setting. I set it on Movie mode and it looks drastically different.-Right side of the monitor has a slight blue tinge to it.For the price, this is probably one of the better monitors you can get. I don't have much to compare against, but against the monitors I saw at the particular Best Buy I was at, this was the best looking one in its class, to me.The stand isn't too big of an issue unless you absolutely need height and swivel (which my old monitor did have, but was a vastly inferior monitor, a Dell 19" 5:4)*As mentioned above, colors aren't the best they could be. Mess around with the settings until you find something you like.

Good monitor and cheap (I bought refurbished), but with that comes the pains.I bought 3 of these and one monitor was DOA, I will be shipping it back tonight.I have no problems with the other two monitors, they look nice, no dead pixels. There is a bit of a gab between screen and bezel. Also bezel is thin enough that multiple monitors is not so awkward.Just be warned, technical support for is little to none with these monitors (via LG website) and buying a refurbished on has its risks.Summary:Pros - Cheap, Pleasant to look at on and off, nice connection options, fairly intuitive controls once you figure out how to open the menu. Nice colorsCons - Wobbly stand, Hard to get the angle just right (only really matters with 2+ monitors), HDMI cable will occasionally slip out of back and need to be pushed in farther, When plugging cables in it feels very... cheap. The ports can be pushed in with only slight pressure. No me gusta.

Except for the darkest of scenes, this monitor has excellent performance. Colors are vibrant, consistent, and *very* accurate for a monitor of this price point. I am an amateur photographer and I got this monitor primarily to photoshop with, and this is great for that. IPS technology is awesome.When I first got this monitor, black level was set to "high" which resulted in an inordinate amount of back light bleed. Setting the black level to "low" helped SIGNIFICANTLY--however you can only change this setting using HDMI. I haven't tried this monitor using any other interface. That being said, there is still some noticeable backlight bleed in the lower right corner, however I stopped noticing/caring after the 1st day. Light/reflections hitting the monitor can also give the impression of backlight bleed, as it can turn blacks to dark blues due to the screen cover?Another thing with this monitor is that the stand is RIDICULOUSLY FLIMSY. The slightest movement makes the monitor shake. Thankfully this monitor is VESA stand compliant.I would love to give this monitor a 5/5, but the (relatively minor) back light bleed issues, as well as the stand, make me unable to do so.I would give a 4.5/5 if I could.

My PC runs three monitors from two 1 GB video cards. I had planned to make the LG my forth monitor (two monitors on each card) by connecting its HDMI port to my PC's HDMI port. All four monitors booted, but after about 15 minutes the LG would enter a power savings mode and never recover. This did not happen when the LG and PC are connected via DVI ports.I tried two remedies but neither worked:* Bought an adapter to convert my PC's HDMI port to a DVI-D port and connected the LG to it, and* Adjusted Window's power settings to never enter a power-saving mode.The LG web site does not address this problem; but I noticed similar complaints elsewhere on the web. Also, the instruction manual notes possible "incompatibilities" if you use the HDMI port to connect the LG to a PC. You should not buy this monitor if you plan to connect it to a PC using their HDMI ports.

I actually got a great deal at a local electronic store for $159 and could not pass it up. I was a bit nervous because I did not see a lot of review. I am a technology consultant and figured I could consider it product research ;)I am actually very impressed. Since part of my job is to review and test a lot of products for my clients I have see many of the newer IPS monitors. This one really sits up there with the higher priced ones in almost every aspect.I was actually able to test it side by side with 6 other monitors including 2 other IPS.ProsReally good black levels (not saying the other reviewer was wrong, maybe they got a lemon)Excellent colorMedia (HD movies, picture editing) was excellent. Really good contrast!Gaming had no problems despite the fact that IPS tends to be a bit slower on the refresh. Tested BF3, Skyrim and both looked great.ConsConnections! Not enough of themThe stand is a bit weak, however i generally do not use the stock stand.Really for the price point I can't even knock off a star for the cons.

I was concerned at first over going to an IPS based panel being that I am a gamer and a simmer. After having taken the plunge I can safely say that these do just fine in that department. The stands aren't as adjustable as some but I have all four of these monitors in a dedicated monitor stand so that wasn't an issue for me.

I did like the monitor for while until I realized that it was the reason why I was getting headaches and terrible eye fatigue. I almost made an appointment with my doctor because I almost never get headaches and I usually have a lot of energy. After spending a couple of hours in front of the monitor I felt like I needed a nap. I heard that this is due to the flickering of the LED lights while dimmed. It seems like setting the brightness to 100% should eliminate the flickering. I will try full brightness ...and perhaps sun glasses.I would definitely not recommend this monitor.Pros: good colors, very crisp, good priceCons: causes fatigue

I was in the market for an IPS monitor, so I checked the LG website, and started reading about the IPS235V-BN. The published specs said it had a one year warranty, but I couldn't find the warranty terms anywhere on the website. So, I tried posting a "ask and answer" question to find out what their policy was concerning defective pixels.They never answered my question -- instead, I got an email saying my question was rejected! So, I ordered a different brand of monitor, from a company that explains their defective-pixel policy.(Wikipedia has a good article titled "defective pixel" that includes a section on manufacturer policies.)

Thoroughly disappointed with this screen. I "upgraded" from a 3 year old TN panel LG monitor.The negatives far outweigh the positives for me -1. Bluish tint on the right edge (visible on a white background, eg: viewing webpages)2. Back light bleed on the top edge. On a dark screen, eg: watching a movie, you can see what looks like 3 spotlights on the top edge. The leftmost one is bright and distracting.3. Flimsy stand - the screen wobbles when my air con blows air on it.The positive -1. Cheap.2. Good colours.3. Excellent viewing angles.4. Sleek design, minimalistic and light.5. Matte screen - no glare.Verdict -MegaFAIL!
