I bought this camera mainly because of its zoom lens, I plan on taking pictures at sporting events. This camera is perfect & practically foolproof. I went from oa old style instamatic 35mm., to this one, it is the first digital camera I have owned. It is very easy to use & with the included software it is easy to download your pictures. I couldn't be more happy with it, make sure to get a rechargeable battery & charger, as the battery included will not last long!!!!!!!

The Kodak Easyshare Z812IS camera is excellent. Everything that was advertised was exactly what I received. The camera is excellent with 8.2 MP and 12x optical zoom. The camera has many positives for a camera that is so small in size. Pictures can be sent to the computer very quickly without any problems.

By far the best camera on the market for the options that it has. Great to use auto settings and also have the manual available for those events/moments that you want captured as you imagine.)

This inexpensive camera is great. It can do a lot of tricks you would look for in a $ 600 camera. Pictures are top quality. Way to go Kodak !

This camera take nice pictures, and is very easy to use. However the video mode is supposed to support HD resolution 1280 x 720. the movies appear ok on cameras screen but when downloaded to Kodaks Easyshare software the video's appear choppy and are unusable. (revised) After checking the system requirements my processor is too slow. I tried on a faster computer and they worked. Amizon won't let my change my star rating but here it is ***** with this issue resolved I am very happy with the camera.

I finally bought this camera after looking way too long at different ones. I must have looked for 9 hours looking at tons of different cameras on Amazon, but none were nearly as good a deal as this one. This is a great camera. Don't bother paying more for a different one.

Takes great pictures - easy to operate - great price. One complaint - needs a rechargeable battery like the Kodak V series.

Bought this Camera and it was breathtaking. Absolutely love this camera. Takes wonderful pictures both indoors and outdoors. The only drawback is that the camera comes with a non-rechargable battery. It's additional cost to buy a charger and a rechargable battery.

I bought this camera to replace my Z740. After reading the specs I got it so it would be compatible with the printer dock I already had, after receiving the camera I found that it did fit on the printing dock, but it would not charge the batteries on the dock, I had to buy a separate wall charger to charge the batteries. That's my only complaint about the camera. It takes beautiful pictures it has many more features then the Z740 has.

This camera has great resolution and multiple finish and exposure options. It is easy to learn and not too large- even for most women. Great for beginners to professionals. Worth every penny.

Great camera, high quality pix, very functional, just HD video is not the way you think and very primitive.

I've had this camera for a little less than a month and I love it! It does everything. I posted my very first you tube videos thanks to this camera. It's easy to use and it takes great pics and video. The only little issue that I have is that I'm still trying to figure out the formatting stuff.

Huge improvement over our other camera, a Canon A410, in its recovery time between pictures. We love the quality of the Canon images, but are very glad we upgraded to the Kodak.

I do like the photos that I have took. I still need to fine tune what I want out of this camera. I was a point and shoot guy now I'm stepping up. You gotta buy a memory card for sure.

This camera is great. Pictures come out crystal clear. I compared quite a few cameras before deciding on this one. This one had everything I wanted with a great price that couldn't bet anyone else.

This is a good camera for the price. I have been using it for over 3 months and had no problems at all. Its very good for night photography and gives good pictures in very dim light.

The camera look very nice, it has a lot of facilities for enjoy with it, but the quantity of megapixel that Amazon say that it has is not true, When I received the Camera in its body appears that has 8.1 Megapixel.

This camera is amazing. The lens is exceptional and optical magnification equals 400mm+ (conventional 35mm measure). Most amazing is the image stabilization - once you've used it you will never want to shoot without. The picture quality including color reproduction equals products thousands of dollars more expensive. Buy this one - it's a steal.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my wife. Although I have only had for a week, it is the best camera I have owned. It is very user friendly, and is fun to use. The 12X optical zoom makes it a great tool. The picture quality is fantastic. I recommend this camera to anyone who is in the market for a great digital camera.

I was looking for a light weight camera that had a powerful zoom. well this one is both plus more. I love the options and the ease of use. Even for a Dumbie like me you can take Excellent shots. And to add to it, it records in HD Wow am I impressed for the price. The ONLY thing I was not happy with is the darn thing does NOT come with a charger. You have purchase that seperately.
At a $300 price point, I think that a charger should have been included.
I am pleased with my purchase and short of getting a true, SLR which for me is way to heavy to carry, this one fits the need. I don't think you will be sorry on this purchase.

Great Camera, Amazon was not the lowest price around, but the Cheap guy was such a hassle. He wanted to sell me all the accessories, "all I want is the camera" and all of a sudden they no longer had it in stock, it would be 6-8 weeks......

What is not to like about this Kodak Easyshare Z812 Camera. It is very easy to use, makes great pictures, extra easy to share with others.
I do not think you will be unhappy if your like me, love to take lots of pictures and are not taking them to be an expert, but general every day ones to share and enjoy for yourself.

I JUST GOT THIS CAMERA A WEEK OR TWO AGO. SINCE THEN I HAVE TAKEN SOME OF THE BEST PHOTOS I HAVE EVER TAKEN THANKS TO THIS CAMERA. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY TO PURCHASE THIS CAMERA.IT IS REALLY AMAZING. I LOVE THE FACT I CAN TAKE PICTURES IN BLACK AND WHITE OR COLOR.

This camera is easy to use with HD capability and several modes to choose from. It has a large LCD screen that is clear making photos easy to view.
The best feature for me is the rapid processing time to get that next shot.
I love this camera.
