I purchased my present laptop as a replacement. Checked the specs, and it seemed like a good starting point. This was the first upgrade and it was easy, watched a video and just followed it. Started up my laptop and it worked right away. Nice and easy upgrade, anyone can do it. Great value.

Got it to add extra capacity to my kid's older laptops with SSD changes. Laptop overall ratings were 5.6 (Gaming Laptop - i7), with both memory and SSD changes the rating shot up to 7.6! Upgrade was inexpensive, thanks to great price on these memories.

These products either work or they don't--this one did--thankfully. It worked great when installed into my son's laptop and worked to the manufacturer's specifications.

Works as advertised, even in my picky Toshiba laptop. Can't ask for anything more. I'd recommend this to anyone with a Toshiba laptop that's picky about ram.

Everything has been perfect. The only problem I had is that the second ram stick wouldn't properly snap in. After a couple of attempts it finally did. That was probably more my laptops fault than the ram stick. My laptop runs sooo much faster.

I bought this to add memory to my laptop. It was easy to install and works great. Buying from Amazon it was half the price that the laptop OEM was charging me for it.

Gave It a five star rating because it is doing a great job. Lucky me has a son-in-law, John who knows computers. Would recommend it be purchased along with any computer to give it the extra memory from the get go!

I added the ValueRam to a new Acer laptop. I would have preferred more guidance on adding the board, I did not have any problem, I sort of followed my nose, but felt like I was experimenting rather than following detailed instructions. The board works fine.

I bought this for my early 2011 15" Macbook Pro. Installation was easy (except that I had difficulty getting one of the screws to go back in, which has nothing to do with the RAM, but is certainly a consideration for someone considering upgrading their RAM on their MBP) and definitely resulted in significant performance increases. One other think to note, however is that if you have a MBP with 4Gb RAM, this is 2Gb in each slot, so if you want to upgrade to 8Gb you need to purchase two of this item. Price was good and it works.

I installed it as a much needed upgrade on my HP 4520s with 3GB ram. I had to remove the 1GB dimm to put this one in. Now my system has 6GB ram and it is working great without the need to page the extra ram to hard disk bringing the system to a crawl.The ram has made the difference to my win7 system and I recommend it to anyone with ram less than 4GB. its only ~$20 anyway and its the cheapest upgrade that will improve your system performance.

Have not had any issues. Whether or not it actually adds performance to my laptop I don't know. I at least have not found a difference on that mark. It however functions perfectly.
