After nearly two weeks, I'm still waiting for Kingston to ship out replacement ram. The ram was installed and after just one day, the ram caused several of the programs on my system to quit functioning.After calling Kingston several times, they still have not shipped the replacement modules yet. It's been two weeks.I would strongly consider a different brand next time. This company is not responsive.

That's what I needed to full run Vista on my 2yr old HP desktop. My PC was on 3Ghz and 512 mb RAM (NOW 1.5 GB!!!!).The installation was very easy: Only open the case and place on empty slot.

I bought the original stick 3 years ago and it cost 150 dollars wholesale. It does work as rated and because of the heatsinks can run at excessive speeds. If you have a newer motherboard get their DDR 533 or even DDR2. No stability issues. DDR2 is tricky. More bandwitdh with twice the latency. It also runs very hot. For now I'd rather stick with the first generation DDR. Also, hyper X 2 gig set is as bit too expensive for me (at least it cools those hot sticks with heat sinks). Also keep in mind, if this stick is paired with another matching stick and dual channeled, it will have higher latency because they work in tandem but you get twice the bandwidth. It's a tradeoff, but still worth it.

Price is average. Delivery is fast and easy. We did save a little bit by ordering online. Not the best price around, but it does what it supposed to do.

Good product, but I returend it after I found a cheaper price elswhere. I found the whole experience returning it very difficult. Too many emails, they finally returned it. But I put in a gift check (of 10 dollars) for the purchase, which they never returned. Dont know how to get this back either.

Good value two-pack from Kingston's value line. Note, the other reviewer's comment about specs: it is 2.6V. Tech specs are on this page, but require you to click on the "More Technical Details" link in the "Technical Details" section.

great looking with the heat sinks and all, but I cant tell the difference in speed i went from a CL 3.5 to a CL 2 with these. and a total of 2 Gig vs .75 Gig.Just a splashy looker for me, maybe it will help your system more.

What can I say? Kingston rocks, it showed up very quickly, was not DOA and really kicked up the speed of my system. I am never disappointed by any Kingston product.

By this time I still can't use both memory dimm, if I try to use both of them, my system recognize it and work ok about one or two minutes, then reboot over and over, although Kingston's web page tell me before I pruchased this two memory kit, that it will be fully compatible and the best option for my computer upgrade....and I'm still waiting for a response for them for what can I do to fix the problem......

i recently upgraded from 1GB Geil PC3500 ram to this 2GB of Kingston PC3200 RAM and its a world of difference.no more timing issues, computer never reboots under high load anymore, plus this ram should work fin eif i ever upgraded to another DDR motherboard

running at 2-3-2-5 & F1 mode(fastest PAT) on my Abit IS7, at default voltage. i'm sure it can make it to 2-2-2-5 if voltage is increased.

Maybe the previous reviewer had a defective module? Although SPD does set these sticks at higher than rated timings, when I changed them to the rated 2-3-2-6 timings at 400mhz speed, they work as intended. Very stable at the rated setting for me. I gave it four stars since these do not overclock much at all past the rated specs.

I bought a stick of this ram a week ago, and I'm returning it. The timing stored in the SPD does not match the datasheet, and manually tuning the timing to those values does not work either. Tech support claims that the datasheet values are for overclocking, but OC is not mentioned anywhere.Kingston is selling CL3 ram at CL2 prices. Don't fall for it.

This memory seemingly meets the specifications to be suitable for current Apple G5 Macintosh computers. Such is not the case. It requires 2.6 volts, not listed anywhere by Amazon, while Apple compliant memory works on 2.5 volts.
