I received the memory in a decent amount of time, shut down my computer and installed the memory chips all within a half hour. I had gone from 333mb to 1.8gb in half hour. Works great so far.

Excellent purchase. Product was delivered on time, well packed, and exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, my PC died (for other reasons) before I could exercise my new RAM, so I didn't really get to appreciate the purchase. Such is life.

After installing Office 2007, our 6 year old computer was painfully slow for even the simplest things. Adding this memory gave it a new lease on life and it's running great again.

I replaced my 500 meg with 2gb on my six year old desktop computer. I don't see noticeable performance improvement. It may be that the other components are not compatible or outdated.

Replaced the old memory with the Kingston memory. No problems, the computer picked it up and is now running much faster with 2 GB versus the 512 MB that it had.

Okay, so my 10-year-old Dell Dimension 4400 was slowing down. Still a good desktop, and Windows XP is as reliable as ever. Got this the other day, added it to the box in 20 minutes. Tripled the RAM from the 256MB installed. Computer's now MUCH faster. Best $30 I've spent in a good while. Just wish I'd done it 5 years ago!

I had upgraded once from 128mb to 256mb. But time caught up with my old Dell Dimension 4400 and it had slowed to a crawl again. Adding 2 512mb sticks has brought it back to life for a little while longer. These were easy to install and work flawless. Very happy!

I bought this item thinking I was purchasing 2 1GB memories, but in fact it was a total of 1GB when adding the two together:o( But they did work well.

Did some research to upgrade memory on my 1.5GHz Pentium 4 that had only 256M of memory. It was slow as a pig and locked up constantly. This 2GB upgrade brought it back to life. It's now a screamer running XP and other Apps. No need for a new computer.

I purchased 2 of the 512MB Ram cards with great results. I have an older Dell that, from age and use, had slowed to a Snails pace. I upgraded from 256MB's to 1GB of Ram and it increased the speed of my PC four-fold. I recommend this to anyone who has an older PC that does not perform like it used to. I received the product in perfect condition and in a timely manner. My PC now performs even better than it did when it was new. Great product, great price.

The DDR was received within 3 days of my order. I installed it, turn the PC back on and it had been working perfect ever since. Over 7 weeks now and no issue. My PC speed is up to the roof. I can work multiple applications: burn a CD, download and still browse fine, with a CPU usage reading less than 9%. I'm completely happy with my product. I definetely recommend this seller.

What a breath of free air for my Dell Dimension 2400. Installed without no problems in less than 5 minutes. Too bad motherboard only supports 2 gb. Would be interesting to see how 3gb of ram works. Highly recommended. Going to buy a few more for my mini itx board which supports only up to 1gb ram. Just awesome!!!!

Ordered a 2 GB stick of Kingston PC3200 Ram, it came promptly. It was labeled as ordered, but at installation it posted as 1GB. I installed it in another computer, not mine but someone else's and it again posted as a 1GB stick I will not use this seller or Amazon ever again. Also as seen it was supposed to be 2x 1GB sticks.

I bought the RAM as a much needed upgrade for my Dell Dimension 4600. I was moving up from 256 MB of RAM to the 2GB kit here. It consists of 2 1GB PC3200 sticks. They installed flawlessly and the system recognized the changes immediately. I have not had any problems with the system since installing the RAM a few months back and all is well. The system speed has improved drastically and I might have to purchase this item again to bring the computer up to 4GB. So far the system handles the resource hogs Firefox 3, Photoshop CS3, Microsoft office 2007, and Solidworks 2008 all at once in a very well manner.There isn't much else to say about RAM so this is all, but I hope the review is helpful.

Used this to upgrade my mother's computer which still only had 256MB. The performance increase was expected but there's no high intensity programs being run. I've generally had good experience with Kingston memory products so this is just another one.

I own a Dell Dimension 4600 Intel chip at 2.8GHz with 512MB RAM running WinXP. Wanted to upgrade to more memory so I bought this Kingston 1GB. Came in less than 1 week with free shipping. Plugged it in as soon as I received it, powered on my PC and it works like a champ. So far no problems. Can't get any easier than this when it comes to upgrading your PC. I have heard that it is better to buy in pairs of the same size and brand name due to slight differences in voltage, etc. However, I have mixed different memory sizes and brand names with older Dells that I own and have never had any problems, at least not yet.
