Yes, I'm stuck in the G4 era. But I enjoy some of the old games, and have backwards access to thousands of files that my Intel macs won't let me look at. What more do I need for the road? I am not a business geek that can't live without net access to my spreadsheets. Buy an old powerbook, upgrade the memory and the hard drive; chances are you'll have enough for road trips, and you can always access your BIG desktop at the "Go" menu, under "connect to server". Worth the (very little) money to keep an old friend working.

I ordered the memory module and ten days later it arrived. I thought the shipping was a little slow in comparison to other products that we had ordered from other vendors through amazon, but it was in the general time frame promised. The memory module was installed into our computer and it works like a champ so far without any problems.

I ordered two memory sticks from another place that promise they would work the first time and everytime. Well they never worked, they probably sent the wrong parts and they never energized at all, much less re-boot the computer.The Kingston purchase from Amazon was much cheaper and worked flawlessly with easily understandable installation and boot up with no problem. I believe I'll stay with Amazon from now on for computer upgrades, it's a good thing.
