I previously had 5gb of this ram and 1 open slot. My pc has a clear side panel, so I got sick of looking at an empty spot and popped this into fill it.This ram is fast, even though it is DDR2, if your mobo supports the 1066 speed, its technically hitting speeds of DDR3.I haven't had any issues with any of the sticks I have, 1gb or 2gb sticks. I installed this in a 1005HAB eee PC, replacing the 1GB stick that came from the factory. Recognized by the hardware with no problem. I have never had a problem with Kingston memory, I always follow the recommendations from their memory finder on the Kingston website.

I installed this in an Acer desktop. Replacing the RAM solved the intermittant shutdowns. It now works perfectly. The product works as advertised.

Purchased this for my sister's laptop and installed it. It's running a great deal faster now. If you have a computer with bare minimum RAM these people are great to deal with. If this type is what your system uses don't hesitate to buy it.

I just purchased the Kingston HyperX 4GB Kit (2x2GB Modules) 667MHz DDR2 Notebook Memory (KHX5300S2LLK2/4G) for my wife's three-year-old Sony Vaio VGN-CR410E/P. In addition, I also purchased a brand new Western Digital 320 GB Scorpio Black SATA 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Notebook Hard Drive WD3200BEKT to give her older notebook an ultimate boost. The machine originally contained 3GB of RAM and a 200 GB 5400 RPM drive. Prior to the upgrade of both parts, my wife's machine ran ...Windows Experience IndexProcessor: 4.7Memory: 4.7Graphics: 3.2Gaming Graphics: 3.0Primary Hard Disk: 4.9Geekbench 2 Score: 1591Not so hot, but the machine is three-years-old and running off a 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. I purchased this based on the word Single in the title and the fact that the picture shows only on SODIMM thinking that it was a single 2GB SODIMM, since that is what I required.I was surprised when the unit turned up and it was a kit consisting of 2 SODIMMs.I feel ripped off.

Once I figured out that memory is memory - Mac or PC - I installed the module. The result was that my 6 year old laptop no longer took 10 minutes to boot up - it now takes a much more satisfying 2 minutes.

Wanted to add another stick of RAM to my aging pc.Pros:cheapworks fineCons:poor overclocking(I haven't been able to overclock this stick like i have my gskill (F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK) ram sticks, which overclocked very easily and have taken way more then i would have thought possible.I purchased this stick thinking my overclocking success was more due to my motherboard not the RAM.)

The hyperx ram is the best ram that I have ever put in one of my pc's ever.I have used other brands of ram over the years in alot of pc's but once I went to hyperx I have never ordered anything but hyperx ram.I have this ddr2 1066 (8 gigs I ran in a gigabyte 785 board) and (ddr3 1600 16 gigs 4x4gig sticks in one pc and ddr3 1600 8 gigs 4x2gig sticks in my other gaming pc and it has all been super performing ram.I have run it on windows 7 and xp and it gives super performance on each os I have run it with.I have put together alot of gaming pc's and this is the best performing ram you will get for the money.I still have every stick of hyperx that I have ordered and it all still runs perfect.But I do not run this ddr2 1066 hyperx ram now but it was running perfect and with the windows 7 thing it was getting 7.4 running 8 gigs in my system.I replaced it with the hyperx ddr3 1600 16 gigs when I changed my gigabte 785 motherboard to a gigabyte ga-990xa-ud3 motherboard and upgraded one of my gaming pc's.I have found out over the years of building and running my gaming pc's that you can never have to much ram,to much cpu performance or to much system cooling performance in your pc ever.You many not need all this performance all the time but it is very good to have when you do need it.I know you will love the performance this ram gives you if your system runs ddr2 1066 ram and it is worth the money.

I purchased this kit for my aging MacBook Pro 17" 2.33Ghz. According to Apple this unit will only address a maximum of 3Gb but my machine recognizes all 4Gb's without any problem running Snow Leopard. Could be the OS upgrade that made it now capable. Made the machine noticeably quicker over the factory installed 2Gb.

I bought two of these for my late 2006 20" iMac. After hearing about the horrors of using so called "value ram" in Macs, even from respected brands such as Kingston, I was reluctant to buy. But the price swayed me. It has worked great, and significantly improved my system performance.XBench rating prior to installation was 136 (Genuine Apple-Samsung 2GB pc5300); After = 186.Logic Pro 9 now loads faster and I can run more plugins simultainiously with much fewer audio drop outs, if any.Side note: The Crucial memory web site said my model would only support 3GB, OtherWorldComputing.com said it would take 4GB which is true.

Before I had two 1gb memory on my net-book Acer Aspire 1410 11.6" for a total of 2gb I connected big screen through HDMI and could watch 720p but 1080p lagged terribly it showed CPU load 100% and RAM load 1.9gb I thought it is because of CPU but....Now when I have two 2gb memory (4gb total) 1080 works flawlessly and my CPU shows 25-30% load when memory 2.5Gb loadI run Win 7 64bit and CPU is Intel SU2300If I knew it would change my PC like this I would've bought it years ago, right after I bought netbookand Latency 4 is makes noticeable deference every thing reacts fasterprice and free 2 day shipping at Amazon is best, that is why I am an AMAZONIAN!!!

Memorias de alta calidad y rendimiento, era la mejor opcion disponible para mi tarjeta gigbyte EP43-UD3L, y definitivamente la mejor memoria DDR2-1066Mhz del mercado. El disipador que traen es unico y esteticamente impactante. Muy alta calidad, pienso en un futuro volver a comprar otro combo 2x1gb o quizas el combo 2x2gb sin ningun tipo de duda, ya he tenido 1 a?o trabajando sin ningun inconveniente. Las recomiendo altamente. 5/5
