Purchased this for my sister's laptop and installed it. It's running a great deal faster now. If you have a computer with bare minimum RAM these people are great to deal with. If this type is what your system uses don't hesitate to buy it.

I just purchased the Kingston HyperX 4GB Kit (2x2GB Modules) 667MHz DDR2 Notebook Memory (KHX5300S2LLK2/4G) for my wife's three-year-old Sony Vaio VGN-CR410E/P. In addition, I also purchased a brand new Western Digital 320 GB Scorpio Black SATA 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Notebook Hard Drive WD3200BEKT to give her older notebook an ultimate boost. The machine originally contained 3GB of RAM and a 200 GB 5400 RPM drive. Prior to the upgrade of both parts, my wife's machine ran ...Windows Experience IndexProcessor: 4.7Memory: 4.7Graphics: 3.2Gaming Graphics: 3.0Primary Hard Disk: 4.9Geekbench 2 Score: 1591Not so hot, but the machine is three-years-old and running off a 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. I purchased this based on the word Single in the title and the fact that the picture shows only on SODIMM thinking that it was a single 2GB SODIMM, since that is what I required.I was surprised when the unit turned up and it was a kit consisting of 2 SODIMMs.I feel ripped off.

Once I figured out that memory is memory - Mac or PC - I installed the module. The result was that my 6 year old laptop no longer took 10 minutes to boot up - it now takes a much more satisfying 2 minutes.

Wanted to add another stick of RAM to my aging pc.Pros:cheapworks fineCons:poor overclocking(I haven't been able to overclock this stick like i have my gskill (F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK) ram sticks, which overclocked very easily and have taken way more then i would have thought possible.I purchased this stick thinking my overclocking success was more due to my motherboard not the RAM.)

The hyperx ram is the best ram that I have ever put in one of my pc's ever.I have used other brands of ram over the years in alot of pc's but once I went to hyperx I have never ordered anything but hyperx ram.I have this ddr2 1066 (8 gigs I ran in a gigabyte 785 board) and (ddr3 1600 16 gigs 4x4gig sticks in one pc and ddr3 1600 8 gigs 4x2gig sticks in my other gaming pc and it has all been super performing ram.I have run it on windows 7 and xp and it gives super performance on each os I have run it with.I have put together alot of gaming pc's and this is the best performing ram you will get for the money.I still have every stick of hyperx that I have ordered and it all still runs perfect.But I do not run this ddr2 1066 hyperx ram now but it was running perfect and with the windows 7 thing it was getting 7.4 running 8 gigs in my system.I replaced it with the hyperx ddr3 1600 16 gigs when I changed my gigabte 785 motherboard to a gigabyte ga-990xa-ud3 motherboard and upgraded one of my gaming pc's.I have found out over the years of building and running my gaming pc's that you can never have to much ram,to much cpu performance or to much system cooling performance in your pc ever.You many not need all this performance all the time but it is very good to have when you do need it.I know you will love the performance this ram gives you if your system runs ddr2 1066 ram and it is worth the money.

I purchased this kit for my aging MacBook Pro 17" 2.33Ghz. According to Apple this unit will only address a maximum of 3Gb but my machine recognizes all 4Gb's without any problem running Snow Leopard. Could be the OS upgrade that made it now capable. Made the machine noticeably quicker over the factory installed 2Gb.

I bought two of these for my late 2006 20" iMac. After hearing about the horrors of using so called "value ram" in Macs, even from respected brands such as Kingston, I was reluctant to buy. But the price swayed me. It has worked great, and significantly improved my system performance.XBench rating prior to installation was 136 (Genuine Apple-Samsung 2GB pc5300); After = 186.Logic Pro 9 now loads faster and I can run more plugins simultainiously with much fewer audio drop outs, if any.Side note: The Crucial memory web site said my model would only support 3GB, OtherWorldComputing.com said it would take 4GB which is true.

Before I had two 1gb memory on my net-book Acer Aspire 1410 11.6" for a total of 2gb I connected big screen through HDMI and could watch 720p but 1080p lagged terribly it showed CPU load 100% and RAM load 1.9gb I thought it is because of CPU but....Now when I have two 2gb memory (4gb total) 1080 works flawlessly and my CPU shows 25-30% load when memory 2.5Gb loadI run Win 7 64bit and CPU is Intel SU2300If I knew it would change my PC like this I would've bought it years ago, right after I bought netbookand Latency 4 is makes noticeable deference every thing reacts fasterprice and free 2 day shipping at Amazon is best, that is why I am an AMAZONIAN!!!

Memorias de alta calidad y rendimiento, era la mejor opcion disponible para mi tarjeta gigbyte EP43-UD3L, y definitivamente la mejor memoria DDR2-1066Mhz del mercado. El disipador que traen es unico y esteticamente impactante. Muy alta calidad, pienso en un futuro volver a comprar otro combo 2x1gb o quizas el combo 2x2gb sin ningun tipo de duda, ya he tenido 1 a?o trabajando sin ningun inconveniente. I called up the Kingston customer service to verify that this RAM would work on my PC prior to purchasing it. My RAM (same model) appears different than in the picture. It works perfect in my Zino HD, Dell 400.My virtualbox (virtual machine) now works fast; just as if it was my primary operating system. The games work much better. Everything works faster; better with the extra RAM going from single channel 6GB to Dual Channel 8GB. Can't ever go wrong going from 2GB of RAM to 4GB of RAM and this was no exception. Using these in a DELL Zino HD and I skimped on the RAM at purchase to keep the cost down. I got what I paid for as the computer was completely slow and unable to really stream content to a 42" HDTV, but nothing that a little RAM upgrade couldn't fix. Immediately after installing the Kingston RAM the computer booted faster, switched programs faster and actually streams video out of the HDMI port.

Kingston RAM is always my first choice. This time I needed an upgrade for an ASUS netbook. I doubled the RAM in the computer with this purchase, installed Windows 7 Home Premium, and was set to go with increased speed and functionality. Kingston remains my standard for memory.

Works great on my Dell Mini 10V. One thing to be aware of on the Mini 10V is that the memory chip is on the bottom side of the motherboard so the net book must be almost completely disassembled to replace the existing module. It's not hard to do just more involved that most memory upgrades.

I used this memory to upgrade the RAM in an ASUS AOpen MP45-D model mini-server from 2 Gig to 4 Gigs total. Works great and was easy to install. The packaging includes easy to understand installation drawings. I have been using Kingston products for years with great success.

I have installed the 4gb kit onto my MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. Its running perfect. I dont know what makes the difference between Hyperx ram and value ram but its running perfect on my Macbook pro.

The product: It's Kingston, works great. Installs like any other Ram chip, two side snaps and away you go. Now digging the guts out of my Dell Mini 10v, to install this thing was ridiculous (and a small little door on the base would've changed the 1hr feat to about 1 minute. But it fired right up after reassembly, and works great. Actually the 10v is a 667mhz FSB, but this 800mhz stick seamlessly automatically downclocks itself to run at the 667, or 533 without a hitch. Save the $$$ off the pricey slower clocked ram modules, and grab one like this, that does it all.On a shipping note, ordered this stick at 5:54pm MST, 6 minutes before the overnight shipping guarantee cutoff time. Used Amazon's prime account to get overnight shipping for just $3.99, and it WAS here by 11am the following morning, from CA to Montana. Very impressive. Thanks Amazon for the always incredible service.

I put this into my ACER AO532-h and didn't have to update BIOS or system settings at all. It is very easy to install and the netbook runs perfect on this. You will notice the sluggishness go away instantly. Just make sure you are discharged and not wearing wool socks on your carpet!

This was used to upgrade a Dell Mini 9 from 1GB to 2GB. Removed the 1GB stick and installed this one and it was recognized by the BIOS and thus the OS. I always trust Kingston memory.

I hear peeps writing the they only get 3gigs to show up with windows vista, On my Asus G1 all 4gigs show up so i give this 5 stars cuz of that and its compatibility has no issues, works great.

I had no issues with the ram itself. My laptop was running on 512 mb, stock ram (yes, it's archaic and should be retired and donated to a museum) and switching it out made everything from starting up and shutting down to opening, closing and utilizing programs significantly faster. Kingston HyperX is my go to ram and it's always been solid.One piece of info I should throw out this product for those who are running at 32-bit system is that YOUR OS WILL ONLY RECOGNIZE 3 gb OF THE TOTAL 4. This is due to the fact that 32-bit systems reserve 1 gb for other things such as video ram and etc. Techno bable, blah blah blah... (translation) you better off getting a 3 gb kit and saving yourself a little bit of green. The caveat to all this is if you're planning on sticking the ram into two different systems or if you're running a x64 system, then I'd say go for it. The ram was used as is and overclocking was not attempted.

I just upgraded my HP dv6921la to 4GB of ram and I got to say that it is working great!I first purchased a Corsair 4GB ram kit but 1 stick came defective. I know this one is more expensive but it is worth it.I do recommend you to buy one of this. This shipping was fast and the memory is working as expected.Just make sure to run a 64bit OS so you can get your 4GB recognized!

if you have an intel mac and need more ram first make sure which mac you have mine took 4 meg max. second do not pay anyone to put it in just follow the instructions ..as in remove ONE screw slide in your memory replace said screw and done..took 2 min. and it was my first time..mac shop wanted 160.00 plus the memory (67.00) total cost for me less than 40.00 this ram worked perfectly they sent it very fast with clear instructions.

Excellent memory, working great in my M15X at a fraction of Alienware's price, and a higher quality product to boot (HyperX CL4 vs. default M15X CL5). I definitely recommend the product.
