The sound quality is fantastic, especially for the price. They're comfortable to wear and don't work their way out of my ears. They quiet my surroundings pretty well.
My only gripe would be that the cord is the type to easily tangle if you're not on top of it. Though that isn't enough to remove a star, nor is it much of a problem for me anyway.

I miss these so much. They're no longer sold in Walmart or Target anymore but now I can finally get them again. They last way longer then the $15 target brand - I always have issue with those (one side of the earphone always not working) so I would have to replace it constantly.

Fast shipping. Love these inexpensive ear buds. They work great and they last until one of my dogs or cats finds them and chews them to pieces. Which is why I always keep a spare pair on hand and continue ordering more. ;-)

These are good headphones in the caption it’s called gummy‘s it’s good because they feel like gummy‘s in your ears and they’re great I can hear everything I’m supposed to sometime and you make beeping noise out of nowhere and it doesn’t noise cancel everything but they’re super good and I love them so much and I use them every day

I didn't read the description cause I was in a hurry. I wanted one with a mic for my bf who's gaming headset broke a while back. I was done hearing the interference on his end. But hey, my bad. The buds are still dope! He uses them anyways for his phone.

My inner ears were getting rubbed raw from the Apple headphones for the iPhone. The buds were way to large for my ears and it was becoming painful. On top of that they were always falling out, causing even more friction. These gummies have a snug fit, but are SO SOFT and feel totally comfortable. The sound quality is amazing. The fact that you get soft buds with good sound for less than 10 dollars is really awesome. Highly recommend.

Updated 1/2021 I have accidentally dropped these in coffee twice & they STILL work great! My favorite pair I've had in years! Very comfortable, great color, really great sound- I was very impressed & best of all next to the price GREAT noise cancellation!! I work in an often loud & chatty office cubicle & am not an early morning person!

I’m a life long fan of JVC Gumy Plus earbuds because they’re so freaking comfortable and they provide an enjoyable listening experience. They have enough bass, sound quality, and volume for me to indulge in and once again, they’re just super comfortable. I will continue to purchase this brand for as long as they stay around.

Good for the price. Good cord length. Very comfortable. Comes with three different sized ear thingys. Sound quality is good enough except with some things I listen to it's apparent the bass is missing.

As usual, another headphone, another broken cable with hardly any pulling and being careful. ALL the headphone manufacturers don't seem to care they are making instantly disposable items with incredibly easy to break cables. Don't really care about any other features anymore. Just want a cable that won't break.

These are very comfortable. However, sound is staticky and whenever pressure is placed on the wire (or it's jostled), audio automatically gets paused on my phone. It's impossible to work out and a problem even while sitting still.

The product name/title was "JVC Cool and Comfortable Gumy Plus Earbuds w Mic & Remote, Blue (HAFX7A)", but the earbuds have no mic, and no remote button either. Plainly false title. Earbuds seem to work ok aside from that.

I have bought these earbuds in at least 3 colors, for specific reasons. I like earbuds that can double as earplugs for their noise canceling qualities, and these do just that. They’re comparable to wearing earplugs that are about a 30dbb rating, which is pretty impressive as far as earbuds go. They fit very comfortably in the ear, so much so that you can even lie down with them and it doesn’t hurt the surrounding cartilage. The output is good, everything from music to movies to listening to podcasts or even that weird ASMR stuff (not my thing but interesting how the stereo quality picked up the movement from right to left ear as sharply as a set of bose would. I know because I’ve tried). I have very sensitive hearing and the noise canceling capabilities were comparable to a different brand of earbuds a friend had bought that cost much, much more. My favorite part of these earbuds besides low cost and comfort is the elongated.... base? Prior to these my favs were skullcandy jib. But they were -constantly- breaking because there was no elongated base to protect where the wire connects to the earbud. A tug or two on the jib earbud wires and they’d stop producing sound on whichever side. By having the longer base/back/case, it provides longer life to the earbuds. If you notice the earbuds apple provides, at least for iPhones 6-8, the back base extends down quite a bit protecting more of the wire from coming loose or disconnecting so the earbud “life” is longer. Those are so uncomfortable for the ear though, yuck. I also like that the plug for these earbuds are straight vs L shaped. Even though some could argue that makes it more likely to slip out, it’s perfect when fitting it into an iPad mini or tablet for movies, etc. My iPad mini 4 has an otterbox defender protector and it would be difficult if not impossible to fit an L shaped 3.5mm in there. So in this case the straight plug is better than the 90 degree L shape. For a set of inexpensive, wired earbuds, these are great and I highly recommend. My last pair lasted for over 2 years before one side stopped working (one too many yanks from toddler hands). I’d rather by 5 pairs of these, knowing they’re comfortable, truly noise canceling with good quality, than take my chances on a more expensive set that often look uncomfortable. Though I suppose wired earbuds are going the way of the incandescent bulb and these too will eventually be ancient relics. Until then, I recommend to anyone still preferring wired earbuds with effective noise cancellation.

These earbuds are fabulous! First of all they are under $10 - you really don't need to spend a fortune to get good earbuds. The sound quality on these is excellent. I plug these into my lamptop, my tablet, and my phone and I've never had any problems with the sound. What I really love is the gummy piece that goes into the ear. It's super soft and squishy so even if you wear these buds for many hours (and I have) they are still comfortable. The colors are great too - it's fun to be able to get earbuds in my favorite color pink.
Bottom line is the price is good, the sound quality is excellent, and they are super comfortable. I'd recommend these for yourself and for gifts. FIVE STARS all the way.

Bro these earbuds suck poo. I’ve had the same brand before but a different style of earbuds and they worked so good like what the freek. But these are like the super ugly cousin of those earbuds. The first time I tried them the sound quality was really staticy and when you moved the wire the sound quality just got even more horrible.

I don't know how durable these will be in the long run, but so far I'm enjoying them a lot. They are very lightweight, comfortable in the ears, and sound really good. The audio comes through clear, with good tonal balance. The bass is rich, but not overpowering. The highs and mids are clear without being piercing. I also like that the jack is small (narrow) and fits easily through the headphone hole in my phone's case. Because of their lightweight construction, they feel like they might not last long, but only time will tell. I also wish the chord was a few inches longer. I'm tall (6'2") and when I have my phone in my pocket, the cord is just a tad too short and pulls at the earbuds. They don't come out, but it's still annoying. Overall, really high quality sound for a very low price, and very comfortable earbuds that are very lightweight. Only downside is short cord and cheap-feeling construction. If you're looking for a very low priced headphone, I'd recommend this.

These earbuds are great...no silly microphone! Most earbuds now come with a microphone...only useful if you need it...I only want to HEAR music...and the microphone ones have a slightly different jack (one extra connection)..that difference in the jack makes it not work with my old device...which doesn't even use a microphone. If your device has connection issues with most newer earbuds, try a set like this one without a microphone.

I needed ear buds with a straight jack because the ones I had wouldn't stay in my phone with the protective case on it. These are comfortable, I got a pair in a color I like, and they're cheap, but the sound quality is less than optimal. Don't buy these if you're looking for high-quality ear buds, but if you just need a cheap pair they're all right.

I bought a pair at Dollar General 2 1/2 yrs ago for 8$ & if it weren't for the fact that I wear them 24/7 & get the wire hung up on door knobs etc they would have lasted far longer, the left ear wire was half burned by mistake but still worked like a charm for several months without ruining the quality, the right wire got stretched from the "fork" & eventually the sound went out, so I bought another pair here on Amazon & I've never been so happy to have my comfort back.

I have gone through several budget earbuds with the same promise of noise cancelling/ stereo/etc but nothing compares. I am tempted to buy a "lifetime supply" just in case they ever go out of stock for good lol

Pure garbage! I tried all 3 different earbud sizes, and none of them stayed in my ear OR blocked out noise. At the gym, any slight movement pushed them out of my ears, and I could clearly hear all conversations around me. The sound quality is terrible. Crackly and fuzzy and sound will cut out from one side if the cord is at all bent at the base of the phone plug in. My last pair of headphones was the same brand and style, had them for four years, and loved them. This newer remodel is TRASH.

These area complete ripoff. Do not be fooled by the "JVC" brand. The dollar store ear buds are just as good. These have easy pull apart tiny wiring you know what I am talking about. They lasted less than two hours. 4 bucks an hour. I wear buds for my late work about 30 hours a week, and I work over 60 hours a week total. NO PAY! So using these would cost me$120.00 a week. Almost as bad as the "toy" keyboard I bought from Amazon. That lasted less than one day. WHEEEEE

I've been a fan of JVC GUMY earbuds for years, but these turned out not to be the same ones I'm used to. The sound quality was as good as the one I was used to, but it wasn't long before one of the earbuds went quiet, something I've come to expect with GUMYs only after a significant amount of use. Got so disgusted with these that I just threw them in the trash. Money wasted.

These used to be really good earbuds! I remember buying them at Walmart some time ago and them being able to last for over a year easily. I once had a pair that I lost right before a big snowfall, apparently, they had fallen out of my pocket while I was walking onto the bus for school, months later after the ice had melted, I found them on the sidewalk, I picked them up, brought them inside, cleaned em up a bit, and to my surprise, they still worked! I didn't keep them for much longer, I ended up buying a new pair, but that's a testament to how good they once were. Now, they seem to not last as long. I've bought multiple pairs from Amazon and Target and they've all fallen apart on me, either it was the chord that stopped working, or a piece of the earbud fell off, whatever the reason was, I no longer see these as a decent quality set of earbuds. For that reason, I'd say, be careful, understand that they're a $10 pair of earbuds. I no longer wear traditional earbuds, I now use wireless ones because I find more and more that the chords on a lot of earbuds are cheaply made and end up breaking, however, these will do the job if you just want a cheap pair of headphones.

We have tried a lot of earbuds over the years and have come to the conclusion that JVC Gummies are the best earbuds. They last a long time before you need to replace. They are sturdy yet very comfortable in the ear. The sound quality is great. Each pair comes with three different sized ear pieces. We always order two pair at the beginning of the school year because our kid is always going to lose a pair and the price and quality of JVC make it worth the purchase of a spare set. They also come in several bright color choices.

I purchased these from a big box store for around 10 bucks. After using them for a couple of years I tried to buy another pair, but they weren't available any longer. I really like the richness of the sound for such inexpensive earphones and thought to myself to check Amazon this month to see if they carry them and they did, plus they were a little cheaper. I use them while mowing the lawn listening to streaming internet radio for the most part and they have held up beautifully. So, now I have a spare pair just in case.

I often like to sleep with earphones on, and my (wired) iPhone earbuds stick out too far to be comfortable when sleeping on my side. The JVCs are not only comfortable, but do an excellent job of passive blocking of external noise (these do NOT have "active noise cancellation", but fit snugly in the ear canal using one of the three sets of silicone ear cushions).
Buy 'em.

The actual stability of the jack's cord? Utterly awful. It won't work properly unless the straight jack's cord is veeeery stable and barely bent. I don't know why these earbud people make straight jacks. They're objectively inferior to right angled jacks. I guess they're just hoping they break faster so you buy more? Which of course, is lame. So that's a no from me, y'all. Look elsewhere. I just wanted to try something different and was disappointed.
I usually buy the 12-20 dollar Sony Earbuds. They're just as comfortable and sound great like these, except the jack is a right angle. So it's made to be tough and last for music devices. Especially if they're jangling around in your pocket or bag. The Sony Earbuds are 5 stars, easily. These JVC earbuds are 1 star.

sound is ok and sturdiness is questionable, about what one would expect from an inexpensive set of earbuds( nice they did come with some ear cone size options).
A rather big negative however is the packaging. If you don't like to struggle with blister packs or are sensitive to our useless(and thoughtless) use of plastics these are a no-go. I suspect just about anyone would struggle to get these out of the package and the amount of non recyclable plastic used is ridiculous and pointless.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed by these earbuds. I have had them for less than a year and they are no longer working. About a month ago, the right earbud stopped working entirely for no apparent reason. (This also happened with my last pair.) Last week, the left side earbud became disconnected from the body (see picture). Earlier today one of the two wires ripped and officially killed them. It's worth noting that I only use them in my office at work.
This might not seem so bad, but I had a pair of these previously that lasted me five years. I was hoping that buying online would give me the same quality, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
However, this product still gets three stars because they worked very well for the short duration I had them. The earbuds themselves are very comfortable and have great sound quality. I also appreciated the different ear piece sizes. To be fair, $8 for a pair of earbuds that lasts 9 months isn't horrible; I'm just looking for something that lasts me longer.

These earbuds stopped working after 4 months, no damage to them. First one side went silent, then both sides went very low volume, and could not hear anything. I contacted Amazon for a replacement and they referred me to JVC. Never heard back from them. I would not recommend it.

This is the second pair of these that I have owned. Sound quality is good for me, but I use them mostly to listen to podcasts, so my rating may not apply to you. They are comfortable. I use them in bed at night and they don't bother me. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and take them out, but not because they are bothering me. I have slept with them in all night as well. (I have the podcasts turn off automatically.) Recommended. Good buy for the price.

I forgot all about gummies until I needed a new pair of earbuds since I left mine at a place that closed down because of covid. Anyway those are great, that cancel noise vry well but not human voice. So it's nice if you want to listen to thing but need to notice if someone is talking. Sound is really good... I'd say the only thing missing is a small remote to pass songs and for volume but I haven't checked if they had some, just wanted those vintage ones right away.

Straight to the point, these do not work well with my phone. I had the same brand before for over a year but I didn't get them online. I've gone about a week with a pair of earbuds that also didn't work well with my phone and I gave this a try, hoping it'll be just as good as the last one. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I plugged these in and the sound chips out if I even brush against the cord, and don't come back even if I adjust it. I have to unplug it and plug it back in and sometimes I have to do it several times. I have a Samsung and they fit just fine but the slightest tug and they stop working. How do I send these back? I don't even have the packaging anymore.

I got these to replace my favorite Skull headphones I had for about a decade. One of the sides started to short out, so I bought these, hoping they would become my new favorites. The sound on them is decent, but I had to turn up my volume a ton to get any sound! After 5 months of light use, the right side started to short out as well!! What a pain, because now I have to replace them again. Also, the cord length was not long enough to go from my speakers to my head comfortably. Don't get if you do any sort of serious use, because they won't last.

I bought three sets of these earbuds, two for my wife and one for me. Both of us have been pleasantly surprised by their audio quality, especially at the bass end. They are very good for such inexpensive earbuds.
Their noise cancellation seems to be pretty good, although I have yet to test them thoroughly in that regard.
Our only real complaint is that the cord is shorter than other earbud sets we have purchased previously. If the cord was 10-12 inches longer it would be ideal. Other than that, we are quite happy with our purchase.

Just about as good as I remember them being in high school lol. I just needed a cheap pair of headphones to use with my laptop and these are definitely it. They work alright but the sound quality is what you’d expect for the price. Sometimes if I move the wire around I can hear a muffling sound while I’m using them. I recommend if you really just need a pair of headphones with no regard to sound quality. That’s what I needed them for so I’m pretty content with this purchase.

It seems that I need the small ear pieces as all other headphones of this type have been uncomfortable for my personal use. These came with spares and I changed over to the small sized and these were perfect for me.
I recommend these if you have problems with comfort of ear buds. Sound quality is super too.

I have small ears and in ear earbuds have ALWAYS hurt the inside of my ear, until I found these! The small size gumy is the perfect size to fit into my ear without hurting! Sound quality is great as well!
