I never used bluetooth headsets before, so I'm guessing this review might be true for all of them.I had been wanting an easy wireless solution to replace my corded headset for my laptop for some time (every time someone skypes, we have to detangle the cord, decipher headset plug from the mic plug, decipher headset jack from mic jack, etc). I assumed the bluetooth headset would be the answer to my prayers.First off, the idea I could just turn'em on and they world work is wrong. Even after pairing, I had to go into Vista control panel to change the default audio settings. Then when I turn'em off, I have to go back and do it again to get my on board speakers to work. But even worse, the audio is awful. I mean really unbearably bad. Imagine your friend calls you on your cell phone, and plays music to you over the phone. That is basically how the audio sounds. There is a loud and constant background "hiss", there is no bass, and the compression causes aliasing where I found whole drum beats to be lost.I kind of expected the quality of wireless headphones to be not as good a wired ones, but this is just unlistenable. I'm guessing this is true with all bluetooth headphones, but the product description of "crystal clear sound reproduction" is really just false and misleading.

I have used these headphones for almost a year now and still really enjoy them. It is great to wear a headphone while doing chores and not have a wire hanging in my face or getting tangled in my hands. I love being able to walk away from the source (usually my Blackjack II) and still being able to control the music. The earpieces are fairly comfortable, I actually like the large size rather than the earbud style of headphone, my ears do not get sore as fast. I wear glasses and usually a ball cap and these headphones still sit nicely on my ears and don't move much. I use them a lot when mowing the lawn and can still hear the music over the noise of the mower. I have found that bluetooth signal sometimes has trouble penetrating through denim, probably a problem with my phone not the headphones, but signal picks up quickly. As far as for handsfree phone calls: sound quality is great. It's nice to hear a voice in both ears when talking on the phone. There is a little echo while transmitting my voice, doesn't seem to bother the caller on the other end, I don't mind because I don't have to hold my phone to my head, good trade off.The only major downfall was poor documentation with the product, received in manufactures packaging but only documentation was pretty much quick start type information, not much troubleshooting. If you are familiar with bluetooth, I was not, you shouldn't have any problems, tech support via e-mail was very good and fairly quick.I have recommended these headphones to several people and will continue to do so, and recommend them to all who read this review.

This is my first review so bare with me! I will try to make it short and to the point.I got the headphones to use them mainly with my PC to use with Skype and listen to music. I own a HP Pavilion with windows vista, this being the problem (vista). Just out of the box skype worked really well but music hissed and sounded terrible. Called Jabra support and they were not very helpful just offered to change the headphones. Didn't want this cause I had a feeling it was software problem. Did a lot of reading about a2dp, bluetooth, music, etc. and found that the problem was the software that came with vista, not the hardware (pc or headphones). Downloaded a trial version of bluesoleil and it works wonderful! So in short, once I got the headphones to work properly they work perfectly, sound great, volume a bit to low, connects well with no breaking up, very good quality. The bad side (vistas fault) was that it took me a while to figure out the problem and Jabra support wasn't very helpful (they were nice, but not very technical). If you own vista I would suggest you get bluesoleil software first.Hope it helps!

This headset has some good characteristics like battery life, relative comfort and ease of use but also a fatal flaw: in order to prevent breaks in the stream the feed is compressed and stretched causing some very uncomfortable listening of music. It would seem that the buffer memory is inadequate which 'forced' the engineers to stretch the audio feed, this works in both ways, if the buffer is almost empty (stretching) or almost full (compressing) and to make it worse the implementation isn't the best one, instead of digitally filling or taking gaps in the wave they literally stretch the whole thing distorting the tonality of whatever you are listening to. This is quite harmless if you are talking to someone, or listening to your TV, but totally unacceptable if you are listening to music with distortions above a quarter of tone up or down.Imagine you are listening to a violin player that comes and goes out of tune while playing.Interestingly, the effect is worse if the paired device is closer to you (the buffer is filling up) to the point of somewhat frequent breaks when even the trick is insufficient. If you want to listen to music, these aren't a good choice.

This great little device is perfect for anyone with a stereo-capable Bluetooth phone. Out of the box and after a charge, it synced up very easily with my Samsung a900 "Blade" cellphone. I am able to listen to my iPod by connecting the audio plug directly into the iPod and when a call comes in, the sound is muted (though it would be more ideal if it could pause the music) and when I am finished with the call, the sound returns. The main benefit for me is that with the stereo earbuds, the sound of the person to whom you're speaking is directly in the center of your head. I never have to say "WHAT?" or "Sorry, I didn't catch that". Of course, you cannot legally use both earbuds at the same time while driving, one earbud does function quite well. The other main benefit of this device is the longevity of the battery. I talk a LOT on the phone and I have rarely had this phone die out on me. I have been able to talk for hours on end, though I do charge it up fairly regularly at night while I sleep. It comes with a charger with a mini-usb connector that slides into a hideaway slot in the side of the unit. The main disadvantages of this unit are somewhat important. The device is well made and has rubberized sides which are handy. However, the unit has a clip on the backside which is fairly close to useless. It can be attached to your clothing, but it is not very secure. The best bet is to use a small lanyard with a clip attached to the end to more properly secure the unit on your person. This lanyard and clip, however, are not included. (I use a clip that came with my pedometer!) Also negatively, when not in use, the earbuds do dangle about...one can replace the earbuds with earbuds of your choice, but it would be nice to have a way to wrangle those long cords (I use a small white twist tie) :).Another small partial negative is that the mic is on the oval unit itself...There is a pinhole in the rubberized side surface that houses the mic as the dangling device is on your chest, proper placement is essential for people to hear you well, though even with a lot of ambient noise, the mic does a remarkable job of picking up your voice...I've tested it standing in front of a fan and the other person said the fan was loud but that they could still hear me! So it is a partial negative/partial positive. One major issue is the big button visible on the center of the oval unit itself. You use this button to answer calls and hold it longer for call waiting and so forth, however if you are in a call and you inadvertently *BUMP* this button (it's an easy click) then you disconnect from the call immediately. So be careful when using this device and try hard not to hit that button when you don't need to!And finally, at least with my Samsung a900, the bluetooth is erratic. It could easily be my phone (I have just had 2 firmware updates performed on it) but my phone will occasionally just lose the connection to the device and I have to restart my phone. I might think this was just my phone, and it possibly is, but my jawbone bluetooth headset does not have this problem. So I am not sure. All in all, this is a great product that would be greater with some sort of cable wrangler attachment and a shield for the button...I'd have given this product a 5. Still it's a great bluetooth headset, I only wish I could use the stereo capabilities of the headset when listening to music on my Samsung a900...THAT requires an actual cabled audio connection :( Ah well, we can't have it all...yet!

At first, I didn't know if I should purchase this product. I had seen pictures of people wearing them (looked nerdy), I have heard complaints of the sound, and I have heard complaints of the battery. I decided to just take the plung. After I charged the battery, synced it to my ipod (via bluetooth accessory), and started playing music, I was totally blown away! Ya, they look a bit geeky looking and if you let the blue lights blink, you look like a cross between princess leah and r2d2 but hey! The sound is the most important part and the sound is simply amazing! How's the battery, you ask? Way better than I had expected. I have played movies and music on my ipod, I have hooked them up to my laptop, and I have yet to charge it and the first charge was a week and a half ago!!!!! How are they comfort wise? sometimes it puts a pinch on my right ear a bit if I wear them too long but I think that is because I wear glasses. Oh, and if you are a ps3 fan, these headphones are awesome to use. especialy in home when you want to talk to your friends at your house. This is great for many different things and guess what. you can connect to two things at once, so if you are gaming and get a call from your cell, you can swap in a flash to your cell. what more can you ask for?

The battery life on these is phenomenal. I've been using these headphones with the Jabra Bluetooth Music Adapter and the headphones outlast the adapter every time, and we're talking about 8+ hours of constant use.I'm also using this headset along with my PC and my RazrV3m. The phone does not support Stereo Bluetooth Audio (A2DP) but it does support the regular headset profile that most, if not all Bluetooth enabled phones have. This means that the headphones work as a regular wireless headset for any Bluetooth enabled phone or Skype on your PC / Mac.On the PC, the headphones provide the mic input, the mono headset feature and the stereo headset feature. This means that I can be watching a video or listening to music in beautiful stereo sound and if a call comes though on Skype, it'll switch over to the microphone & mono headset profile for the VOIP conversation. The same is true for using the music adapter mentioned above and a mobile phone. When a call comes in, the music pauses / mutes (depending on the device) and you can answer the call by tapping the left ear piece. Tapping the right ear piece will pause / mute the music at any time.Sound quality is actually very impressive. If you're using these with your PC and the sound is coming through mudddy and crackly, it means that you're not using the Stereo (higher audio quality as well) profile. It's quite possible to listen to music using the Mono (used for mobile phone conversations) profile, but you're missing the great sound if you do.A great thing about the sound quality is that the range is quite wide. I hear certain things in music with these headphones that my iPod and Zune headphones just wont reproduce. The headphones are not earbuds (or earplugs as I call them) so you can actually still hear someone if they speak to you, that is you won't be completely oblivious. They came with a wall charger as well as a USB cable so that's very nice. The manual says not to use any other cables to charge the headphones, but close observation will reveal that it's just an ordinary USB-A to USB-Mini-B cable. (Probably what your digital camera uses.)

They may look a little dorky, but they work very well. I hate the things that wrap around your ear or go inside. These are very comfy and the sound quality is great. No one is asking me to repeat myself or hearing any interference. They always work well. The battery life is really good too. My boyfriend had a set and I laughed at how goofy he looked. Then I used them and had to get a set of my own.I definitely recommend these!

This is my second pair of the BT620 headphones (my wife stole the first one). I am almost an audiophile and these headphones are good enough for me. The bass levels are pretty good and all the rest of the frequency distribution is balanced. For talking on the phone I have tried it with 2 blackberries (7290 & 8820) and a Nokia. This works well with all of them. On the 7290 the audio quality is better than the built in microphone and speaker. These cancel out an appreciable amount of background noise as well and makes talking from a crowded place without shouting quite natural. The headphones fit quite comfortably. I can wear them through the 10 hour work day (of course off during lunch) comfortably. Same with my wife, and our head sizes are not the same to say the least. The headphones feel flimsy the first time you take them out of the box, but are quite sturdy and can take a lot of abuse. (I have had one pair for about an year and still is going strong.)I am an electrical engineer and work on bluetooth enabled products, so you can imagine there are at least 10 different bluetooth connections in my environment continuously. The headphones never have any trouble even in that environment. The range I get is about 20ft through walls and a lot of metal. As I said I wear them through the 10 hour work day and have never had the battery die on me. I leave it charging for the night and the next day they are back to normal. I guess the older headphone should be coming to the end of its battery life because of being deep cycled continuously (Li Ion batteries don't take that well) but I think finding an after market battery replacement should be pretty easy for them. They use a standard size single cell 320mAh battery.I would definitely recommend these over Logitech Free Pulse or their older model. I tried those out before I got my second pair of the Jabra, and was not satisfied with them at all (Uncomfortable and bad bluetooth connection).

I received this product as a gift. I sleep with headphones on to listen to music and find myself tangled in the night. The Jabra BT620s solves that problem. The headset is not adjustable, but it is comfortable. It comes with an AC charger, USB charging cable, carrying sack and extra foam covers for each ear (an unexpected but welcomed bonus). After charging the product, I paired it with my iPaq 111 PDA and my enV2 cell phone. It paired flawlessly. I was instantly able to listen to music and movies from the PDA. I've not yet tested sound quality and distance. The large sides of each ear piece are actually buttons. This posed a problem for me in bed at night as I sleep on my side. With this in mind, the left side is the on/off button which is very easily pressed with the pressure of my head against the pillow. Not, horrible, but unexpected. Keep this in mind if you intend to use this head set in any application in which the side of the headset could be pressed against. The other feature I noticed was that the volume control was controlled exclusively by the headset, once it was connected with the PDA. This may pose a problem for those who tend to use amplification plugins on their PDAs.

This review is intended primarily for audible book fans who spend long hours listening to books while multitasking (chores). Those who spend their listening time sitting or laying down don't really need wireless, multitaskers do. For example, recently I was deep into a tale using a pair of wired buds while working in my shop. Halfway through ripping a long board on the tablesaw, one of the buds fell out and became entangled in the saw. I'm not a real safety freak, but this seems excessive risk to me. I didn't lose any fingers, but did lose my peace of mind and missed hearing several minutes of the book. Sure I could have fished the player from its protective lair and turned it off for a minute, removing the buds, storing all neatly away. But I didn't. And probably won't.With these wonderful bluetooth headphones and my Palm TX, my safety issues are history. No entangling cables, great sound, long battery life and a comfortable, secure fit. Most importantly, tapping the side of the headphones lets me pause while doing something noisy. Another tap and I'm back listening where I left off. I can also adjust the volume from the headphones. If I'm not wearing pockets or sweating, I can lay my Palm TX nearby. They say these headphones will also work with a bluetooth phone, letting you pause a book to chat. I don't know. I usually leave my cell on the charger in my off hours. If it's important, email. If its urgent, call 911.How 'bout all those lights! Actually, you only see them when you're holding the phones in your hand, when they are helpful. Or when charging, when they're less helpful. Plugging in the charger will light up a dark room with an eerie red glow. Guess that's why Jabra throws in a thick black bag. When you're wearing them, you don't see the lights. Others do. That's not all bad. The flashing blue light is like one of those orange flags on a long pole people put on bicycles--funky but effective. When the blue light is flashing it is warning to others that you are listening to a book and if they approach with unimportant chit chat, they will be DISTURBING you.If you use these headphones with a device running the Palm OS, you will need to purchase a little program from Softick called Audio Gateway. Softick's folks will help you with any problems you might have getting up and running. In short, with this software, a pair of these headphones and a Palm TX, life is better for multitasking audible listeners.

I was looking for a wireless solution to my mp3/bluetooth enabled/cell phone and this seems to be it.A cell phone and a mp3 player was (is) the perfect marriage of the two devices I use constantly. However, the headset that came with the music bundle from my cell phone provider had severe limitations: they lacked sound quality/volume, (listening to music on my phone was like listen to music on a cheap dollar store FM radio) and the ear plugs always seemed to fall out of my ears during my cardio workouts. The Jabra has the right price, good sound quality (well, it's not a bose but let's face it--if you were in the market for that type of big ticket item, you wouldn't have taken the time to read my review; $30 gets you clear high trebles and some decent bass), and the behind-the-neck design keeps them in place. The volume could be a little louder on both the music and the phone calls, but since the speakers cover your entire ear, they seem to block out most of the background sounds. Speaking of the size, incredibly its weight is a non-issue. You feel them on, but they seem light due to the ergonomic design. The controls for both the phone calls and the music play are intuitive and easy to learn/use. Also, the bluetooth pairing went through without incident (no wires--definitely a benefit), and the battery life...well, let's just say that my cell phone will run out of battery power before the Jabra will. All and all, I feel I got my money's worth and then some. Anyone looking for an inexpensive wireless headset for their cell phone (mainly for music, but will handle calls reasonably well too) shouldn't be disappointed. I feel I will be using this headset for some time.

I bought a pair fo these headphones thinking I could wireless listen to music streamed from my computer. What a pain! What a mistake!I have been working with computers as a technician since the early 80's, so please believe me that while I could eventually get these headphones to work, it required a hugely complicated effort. Not only did I need to upgrade to a specific BIOS, but I needed to load in third party Bluetooth stack to get these headphones to even connect. And even with that, I need to re-pair (That's bluetooth pair again, not fix) the headset after each charge.I worked with the technical support at Jabra, who's main solution was to swap these out with a different set of headphones, but they offered either single ear bluetooth or wired. In other words, they didn't have (or offer) any comparible headsets. Technically, they kept falling back on the excuse that it was likely my computer, since their "technical requirements are fully qualified".So, while I got these to headsets work, somewhat, after a while and with a couple fo work-arounds, there is a reason these headsets have been discounted to the $30 range for close to a year. The ONLY reason I can think that they are still selling these pieces of junk are that they have a huge inventory.BTW, how long does it take of discounting to a low price before that discounted price is considered the actual price. The $99 is purely fictional at this point, because it was only the price hoped for by the manufacturer at some point in time, a long time ago.

These are beyond a doubt the best sounding wireless headphones I've ever heard. If you are considering them, know that your bluetooth device MUST SUPPORT Stereo bluetooth profile. Many cell phones still do not, so they will get a crudy mono sound. I have a Stereo 2.0 bluetooth adapter for my Ipod and these headphones sound as good as a pair of $50 wired Sony's I have, I wear them at work and can easily get 30 feet away in a factory floor enviroment. I have them paired with my non-stereo cell phone at the same time, and can easily pause my ipod and answer the phone by tapping the big buttons on the sides, very handy. Call quality is exceptional on my end, others can tell I'm on a wireless headset but typically have no problem understanding me if i'm not standing outside in the wind. I also had no problems pairing them to my laptop and phone together. Battery life is almost unbelievable.Unfortunatly Jabra did not make them as comfortable as they are functional. I wear glass's and maybe thats most of it, but they fit very tight around the ear, also not being adjustable means they hang out behind your head, annoying if you like to kick back and relax in a chair with your head on the back of the chair. Wish they made a traditional over the head pair. Overall I can wear them for about 2 hours and I have to take a break.Other then an uncomfortable fit with my glass's, these headphones are the perfect addition to a bluetooth setup.

Even with the proper setting they don't work well. Also, when wearing them for long periods of time they really hurt the ears. I would recommend a different model of Jabra.

The Jabra BT620s headset has been a very worthwhile purchase for me, and I highly suggest it for the casual music-listener who has an mp3-compatible cell phone. The headset is well-constructed and easy to use.Pros:-The sound quality is above average, with excellent bass. The microphone has good sound quality as well.-The battery life is sound--it takes almost a week of use before it needs charging-The control scheme is simple and intuitive. Playing music or answering an incoming call is simple. A five year old could learn to use it.-It connects easily to my mp3 cell phone. Also works for online gaming on the ps3.-The price is very good. This headset works well and is only about $30. Unless the most excellent audio quality is essential, why pay $150?Cons:-Occasionally, the headset won't be recognized right away, or the connection will fail the first time. This isn't a recurring issue, though.-The buttons on the side of the headset are easy to press. If it is not stored so that the buttons are shielded from accidental jostling, it is very easy for them to be turned on, lowering battery life.-Though I didn't investigate further, my computer wouldn't connect with this headset. It may be my computer--but it might not be.Altogether, I am thoroughly happy with this product.

I came across David Pogue's review of Bluetooth headphones in the New York Times and researched the three sets he mentioned. Compared to the other's the Jabra BT620 was the cheapest and according to Pogue's review all the sets performed similarly so I figured i would give it a try as i have been eager to go wireless for sometime. I had 2 simple and common requirements - that it work with my Blackberry 8830 for calls and music and to be able to stream music from my PC around the house. The Former was a no-go from the start as i was told via email that the Blackberry lacked the right 'Profile' to operate with the Jabra as a music player. Since i already own a regular bluetooth headset for calls the fact that i couldn't use the headsets for music was disappointing. As a bluetooth headset the audio was actually pretty good since it covers both ears and cuts out ambient noise but the microphone was very distorted since the micrphone is not on a boom but built into the earpiece. I can not imagine that you can use these as a phone headset since voice quality is a secondary aspect of the design. After some futzing i was able to get the Jabra working with iTunes and Windows Media Player after installing a Bluetooth USB stick on my PC. However disengaging the headsets and trying to sync back to speakers wouldn't work on either application. The only way i could get it to switch was to reopen the application and in some cases reboot the computer. On the plus side the headphones are well made (for the price), comfortable for my somewhat large head and have good audio quality for most people who aren't audiophiles. The negatives besides the above showstoppers were an extremely short range without breaking up (15 feet seems to be the max)and on a minor note the flashing LED's which can be turned off but has to be done every time you recharge the device. Overall bluetooth promises simplicity but in my experience was anything but. What started out as a promising technology- connect all your devices wirelessly - became the usual gobbledygook of support calls and technospeak and incompatible standards that left one frustrated at the technology. I sent mine back to Amazon for a refund and will stick with wires for a while longer.

This headset is awesome. For 30 bucks you really can't go wrong, these are cheaper than most non-stereo bluetooth headsets and yet are much higher quality than most headsets I have used. The stereo sound is great for what it is. Mine came with a nice carrying bag made of black fabric with two draw strings at the top. It came with an extra set of covers for the ear pieces (the black fuzzy piece that touches your ear) and both a USB and AC charger. They can also be used as a corded USB headset for your PC while charging. Speaking of the charger, one thing I find to be really cool about this headset is the LED ring around each ear piece. They light up different colors, for instance when you plug them in it will turn red to let you know it's charging and when it finishes charging it will turn green! While in use it lights up blue and blinks blue for different functions.I had bought these for my new blackjack II cellphone for listening to music and watching cellular TV. I did not realize at the time that these could also function as a headset for making phone calls. There is a built in mic in the ear piece and it does a very good job of picking up my voice against background noise. The one and only issue I have with them is that the fit can be a little awkward at times. It took some getting used to for me but once I got used to it they were very comfortable. They were never uncomfortable for me I was just not used to the behind the head style of headphone. It also has a very snug fit on my head, which isn't particularly large.

After reading some of the other reviews that were not so favorable, I was pleasantly surprised with this headset after taking advantage of a really good deal recently. The sound quality is excellent with really impressive bass response. Now I am pairing this with an LG VX8700 and perhaps that makes some difference. There are some minor issues though. Placing the phones properly on your head can mean that they are comfortable for a time, but eventually after about 2 hours they do seem to pinch. But even then it is not unbearable. I have cycled with them, music stops when you answer and then resumes. I have jogged with them, ear pieces pop off so you can rinse if necessary. Occasionally either the phone or the headset gets confused if you are trying to do something too fast. Flipping through songs, and you have to re-pair the device. Sound quality is pretty good through the microphone considering the distance. Very slightly muffled, but still clear enough to not be a limiting factor. A cool feature is that tap the right ear piece and it opens the music player on the phone and starts playing. Jabra should consider putting a locking button at an appropriate location because it is easy to inadvertently push one of the many buttons when you are taking off or adjusting the phones. Eventually you do learn how to handle to avoid this, but it is quirky. I would so recommend this headset for those looking for something to pair with one of the newer phones that support a2d over bluetooth. Excellent for cycling!Update 8/22/07 This headset continues to operate great, despite being dropped numerous times. As a side note, I found as I was riding today that the pairing between my lg vx 8700 was fouled as the music was intermittent. While there is the occasional stumble in the otherwise smooth streaming, this was different. I ended up removing the device from my 8700 and re-pairing it. Fixed. The only thing I can think of is that I had recently unplugged my phone while it was docked in usb mode to my pc and you are not supposed to do that without ending via the menu first.I use this headset to run with too and found a little floss can go along way. Yep, I tied a bit of floss between the ear pieces leaving one side with a simple knot. Then with the floss in position across the top of my head I pulled the ear pieces down until the plastic pieces which normally end up pinching the tops of the ears were just above the tops. I then double knotted the simple knot again and voila, the floss helps support the headset while you are running and the pinching that I noted in my original review is reduced greatly. I am actually sitting typing this listening to some Petty. Great stuff...

You cannot pack this headset in luggage or your backback without it accidentally turning on by itself. There's no reason they needed to do it this way, it should have been a switch that can't be turned on accidentally.Another problem I'm having is that unless I have the PC Bluetooth turned on and the headset on, it won't play audio from my Vista laptop. If I reboot, connects every time.

nice headphone, answer cell phone and voice dialing, all basic function as described with no problem, easy to operate ! can listen to PC music through the USB cable provided, a plus ! Haven't tested the mp3 player or home audio system yet, waiting for another bluetooth music adapter to come to test!Sound qulity is good, bass is a little stronger than listen from PC or from PC speakers directly !The design is little bit uncomfortable, the headphone basically put pressure on your ears and consider the headphone is not adjustable ! I have saw other reviews with same issue and for me it's even worse because I wear eye glasses and it make me even more uncomfortable !That's why I rate it 3 stars instead higher as I would like to ! Thanks !

If you own a smartphone or any other device which has stereo bluetooth (A2DP), using this feature is the wisest decision. Not having to worry about the wires or even about picking the device for changing tracks and volume makes the difference. And if you're in a budget, this headset is the way to go.This headset costs less then 40 bucks here in Amazon, while the motorola S9 - a much prettier choice - cost almost the double. And, if the look isn't great, it's not something that outstands in the streets. By the other side, this headset battery lasts for more hours that I can measure: I use it a lot, my Treo 650 battery has already been drawn, I have already forgot to charge for two days in a row, and I have never make it to end the battery.Configuration is easy and it is also fantastic as a hands-free for you mobile phone (or even skype). The sound quality is great in both sides of the call, even if you are in a noisy enviroment. Actually, as the call sound come from both sides of the headset during a call, it helps a lot to understand the other side. Some people say it is heavy or clumsy, but I disagree. I can use it for all day long without a problem and I have little problem wearing it together with my glasses - a little adjustment and they fit just fine.Maybe there are better bluetooth stero headset in the market, but I must say that the cost/benefit of this one is something hard to beat.

I got these, at considerably greater expense than here I might add, from my cell phone vendor. Much has been said in other reviews so I will not repeat that here; instead I will focus on my experience with them using my Smartphone and Windows Vista to listen to music on them.I patiently waited for them to charge (two hours) before trying them out. It was then a few minutes work to get it to talk to my Cingular 3125 Smartphone (press and hold the home button, Comm Manager, Settings, Bluetooth settings, Menu, Devices, Menu, New).My phone will play music and uses the external screen to display the track etc. so that was the first thing I tried out - worked perfectly the first time I clicked play on a song on my phone: the sound just came out of the headphones, wirelessly! I was able to skip back and forwards, pause and play using the buttons on the right side of the headphones and adjust the volume using the left side. The quality was not the best I've heard - not as good as my iPod for example, even though I had just ripped it from the CD at 256Kbit so I loaded the song onto my PC and tried listening to it there. I am running the final, released version of Windows Vista and was able to add the headphones as a Bluetooth device ok but then was unable to use them as Vista didn't have any drivers for them (even though it knew what it was). So I tried plugging them in via the USB cable that came with them and it found drivers for that ok and seemed prepared to work. However playing the file I had just played on my phone didn't result in sound coming out of the headphones...? A browse of the manual told me I needed to press and hold both the left and right side buttons after waiting 10 seconds after plugging them in. Once I did that, they changed colour from their red "charging and dead" colour to the "I'm doing something" blue. As soon as I did this all sound from my PC came through the headphones just fine! They sounded much better when getting sound over the wire then they did wirelessly over Bluetooth so clearly the sound quality is degraded by the Bluetooth connection somehow. When listening wired, there is lots of bass and the treble was clear and overall I was surprised how good they sounded. Fairly loud but you won't go deaf with them.To get a comparison, I plugged in my Sony MDR-V300 headphones, which are a very nice sounding pair of the regular wired kind that plug into the headphone socket, and listened to the same song again on my PC. The Jabra's are definitely not as good-sounding as the Sony's. I also noticed the song didn't sound as good as it does when I listen to it on my iPod using those headphones so the audio circuitry of my notebook is apparently not as good as the iPod which I don't think is very surprising. They are light and comfortable and in summary, it is good being able to listen to music on your phone without the hassle of wires or of having to reach for a player to skip songs you don't like but the experience, in terms of music quality, is way short of that when using an iPod and high-end headphones.

I love it, I bought it at an AT&T store when it first came out for almost $140.00, so you can see that its a great price here. It pairs easily and has excellent sound quality (and I'm extremely picky when it comes to quality sound). I want to buy an extra set in case anything ever happens to these. They charge fast and work great. Only problem I ever have is without a case, you can accidently turn them on way to easy and when you need them, the battery is dead. The on button is on the right ear and pushes very easy to turn on the unit expecially when you handle them to just move them. You have to always be sure that the light is not blinking or you'll drain the battery, whose charging connector comes with a standard small USB connector found on most phones and headsets today. It comes with a charger and a black protective cover that a bit too small, so fighting to get it in the bag can cause you to accidently turn it on.

These headphones are at a bargain price for a reason.1. They're quite heavy, which might be understandable if they were noise canceling, which they are not. They get quite heavy on the ears after a while.2. Half the time, the headphones will not work with my phone. The phone says that the headphones are connected and I can get sound when navigating the menus of the phone but get no sound from music. I believe the reason is that the headphones are in "standby mode" because only one side of the ear pieces is flashing. I tried to find how to disable standby mode from the manual, which offered no help. The website only offers the very same manual. I tried pressing buttons, turning the device off and on and recharging it but it still stays in standby, nullifying the whole purpose of the product.3. Its glitchy. When I use the headphone buttons to skip songs (when I actually get the device to function properly), sometimes the headphones will make a load beep for no apparent reason. Again the manual offered little help and I will just have to live with eventually going deaf, if I ever get the music to work. For these reasons, I can not recommend the product to anyone who can afford a better one. I'm usually the one who likes to give things a chance but I've had it with the Jabra BT620s.

I live in New York City, so it's possible that these buggers just can't handle all the other bluetooth signals bouncing around, but this thing skips quite often. If I'm in an enclosed space (building, bus, subway, etc.), it's decent enough. Might only skip once every 15 minutes. If I'm on the street, it skips at every intersection, without fail. And I mean that it's pretty much unlistenable for the duration of the walk through the intersection.I'm not sure if the stoplights are messing with it or what. (It's not like it doesn't skip outside of intersections.) Perhaps it's just that it skips periodically and I just happen to be close to an intersection. I could just as easily say, "on the street, it skips every 1-2 minutes."Other than that the sound quality is fairly poor. Everything sounds like it's coming out of a cave or what have you. Also, the lights are sooo obnoxious. Hard to turn off too. Somehow, I have to turn mine off every time I turn it on.Also, the off button takes forever to enact so you look like a crazy person, touching your left headphone, for about 10 seconds.

These things are great! I dont use them for my phone but I use them for mac. They block out background noise and they also dont produce too much noise outside the headphones. The only 2 things I would complain about is the bass and pitch. I like bass in my songs but the headphones add a little bit of a boost that will eventually give you a headache. Since I am using Itunes I can easily reduce it though. When you fast forward and rewind from the head phones the pitch changes a couple of times but eventually straightens back out. They have pretty good range where I can sit 20 feet away from computer and still listen to my music comfortably. Best set of headphones I have ever bought!

When I first received these headphones I was anxious to try them out and enjoy the convenience of wireless connectivety. Boy was I disappointed! First off the sound is sooo low, it was almost imperceptible. So naturally I returned them thinking they were defective. Alas when the second pair arrived I was soon to discover they to produce the same low volume level as the first pair. All of the features worked with my Samsung M520 phone including voice-dialing and voice caller ID. I was surprised also to find out the same low volume was output from my phones MP3 player as well> If you are looking for a good LOUD pair of headphones beware of this pair!

The BT620s is a fine little gadget. It works well, sounds great, is easy to use and compatible with my bluetooth devices. It doesn't quite fit my giant head so well though. It's a little tight on my ears, but not painful. I imagine that it will loosen up over time. The problem is that when the headphones sit idle, they bend in so that in order to fit them on your ears you have to flex them out, which creates quite a bit of tension. The actual flexing plastic part seems fairly durable, so I'm not worried about breakage. The package comes with a mini-usb wall charger, a mini-usb to usb cable an extra set of foam ear pads, a bag for your headset and the headset itself of course. So for $40, this is a fantastic deal for something that I imagine works just as well as the more expensive competitors and has a comparable comfort level. The weight of the device is not too much. As I said, the only problem I have is with the comfort. Smaller heads would probably find it even more comfortable than my gargantuan melon. Now I'm going to go cry myself to sleep on my huge pilla.

I purchased these a month ago, together with the Jabra Bluetooth adapter, to use with both my Zune and Razr V3 cell phone. I love them! They work well and the headphones are comfortable enough provided you don't want to wear them for 8 straight hours. I'm not an audiophile so the sound quality is fine for me. Then again, if you're looking for something to block out noise and give you a great audio experience, these aren't designed for that purpose. You can still hear clearly when you have them on, even with music playing as long as it's not too loud. The best part is that the music automatically shuts off when the phone rings. One touch to the left headphone and you can answer the call and, because they're a lot more visible, you might not look like every other psycho who's talking to his/her invisible friend. The music will come back on when the call ends. I haven't had one complaint about the sound quality of the microphone when I make calls. They'll feel a lot more clunky to people who like using those little Bluetooth pieces (which I've never found comfortable enough to use) but if you're looking for a good mp3/cell phone combination, these are a really great buy.

These would be really cool if: they fit, I could adjust the volume of the microphone, I could turn them off.I could also do without the stupid LEDs flashing all the time, you have to turn that off every time you recharge them.I have a couple other pairs of behind-the-head style headphones and they fit just fine. Jabra apparently makes these for people with either giant or tiny heads, I'm not sure which. The cheap microphone is so over-modulated that I had to tape a piece of foam over the mic to be able to use them with skype. Even turing down the microphone settings to zero in skype doesn't seem to have any effect on the mic levels of this headset.Getting them to turn off and stay off is nearly impossible. You have to find the magical sequence of button taps and holds to turn them off and then anything bumping the huge buttons will turn them on again. You can't even take out the batteries. A tiny on/off switch would be fabulous.

If I could, I would return this product. I have a Nokia 5300 phone, and it really doesn't work with this headset. When listening to the mp3 player, the music has a lot of pauses. When talking to someone on the phone, there's a lot and I mean a lot of background noises and the other person can hardly hear you. On my end, it's clear, but for the other person, there's a lot of noise and hissing. I've talked to tech support from Jabra and they've sent me three of the same headset, but I'm still having problems. They don't even know why I'm having this problem and they don't know what to do. I've even gone as far as getting a replacement phone, thinking that it's my phone, but I still have the same problem. I would not get this product again and don't recommend anyone to get it either.

My wife gave this as a present because I needed a Bluetooth headset for my phone. Note that this is really not the right kind of headset to use while you are driving (its illegal to have both ears covered while driving). I used it at my work and it worked well with my Laptop's Bluetooth (and also my LG V8300 phone). The sound was pretty good which I didn't expect. The only problem I had was the comfort because I wear glasses. Because its behind the ear type it tend to press on the ear loop of the spects and is uncomfortable after a while. I eventually ended up returning this unit but I believe that people who don't wear glasses should find this a good value for money.

I got this for a week after a long shipping from amazon. I use this headphone with T-mobile MDA with ROM upgraded to 2.6xx (the latest one from T-Mobile). I also upgraded the software on the headphone. It said on Jabra website that the new software helps improve the echo and things.Pro: For 35 bucks, I am impressed. The voice quality is good when I turn it up to highest. Lot of bass and it is stereo. It has never felt off my head. It fits my head and it is comfortable enough for 2 hours (as long as I try). It can control the phone and Win Media Player. Talking with no problem. After (accidentally) drop test, it still works like it used to be.Con: Here is the BIG ISSUE I have. It is so sensitive to surrounding RF. I can not listen to songs near working microwave. When I walk, it misses the signal for a couple times per song. Listening the song is the reason why I buy. Now these are minor. It is not as comfortable as wired Sony headphone I have. Quite heavy but I understand that it has batteries. Sometime the voice coming out like old cassette (weird!). Lack of detail and clearness and high tone which I don't expect for $35. Lights are annoying especially in the dark. People kind of smiling for this geeky light. Controlling is lagging a little bit. Microphone is so sensitive with this design, so you get surrounding noise easily. Really bad for using a noisy room or street.

the concept is great:if you have an mp3 player of any sort (iPod or other), you have to have a headphone cord running from the player to your head anyway. why not just add a bluetooth headset in the middle of the line and multi-purpose the earphones already in your ears. instantly add stereo to your phone calls and get decent integration with your audio player (the BT325s will mute your player during a call, though it won't pause it, then automatically switches back to the audio when a call ends).advantages over bluetooth earphones: you still get good audio fidelity, you only use the headset batteries when you are on a call, you don't have to have a bluetooth adapter for your mp3 player, just use the standard audio out. the Jabra BT620s, for example, requires an adapter for use with an iPod; the iPod won't fit in most standard protective cases with the adapter attached.advantages over just using regular headphones for music and a regular bluetooth headset: you don't have to take the headphones off to take a call with the bluetooth headset.so again, great concept. moving on to execution in the BT325s. after three months of use:1. horrible microphone. even when i hold it right in front of my mouth, i get reports of sounding muffled, cutting in and out, etc. please improve the microphone.2. only one microphone. depending on how you are wearing it, the microphone ends up on the underside, away from your voice, covered in clothing, etc. there ought to be two microphones, on opposite sides.3. absolutely worthless clip. the engineers of this product obviously didn't test drive it. due to the microphone placement and clip design, the only way to wear it is with a button-front or zip-front shirt/jacket. to run the cord inside your shirt/jacket, you have to have it untucked, the cord is too short otherwise. the clip bends easily and gets loose, then it can't be bent back. it doesn't rotate, so you can't optimize placement. need a durable, spring-loaded clamp-type clip with rotation. the rotation mechanism should have notches preventing inadvertent rotation once it has been set.4. better integration. there really should be a way to not just mute, but pause the mp3 player when a call is placed or received. but this is just gravy. if 1-3 were resolved, i would use this and recommend to everybody i know. as it is, it is going on the shelf.sad to say, i have to call this a waste of money. i really, really wanted it to work.

The sound quality is extremely good and the battery life is quite impressive. The strobing lights are alittle funky, but then there is a way to turn them off during play. The standard shipment on this purchase was ALOT faster than what I anticipated, the setup was as straight forward as any other bluetooth device I've come across, and the price was very competitive. Hey, the only suggestion I can wildly come up with to improve this headset is to have it Wi-Fi compatible as well.

The headphones work pretty well with good range. I use it with the Sprint Mogul cell phone mostly for listening to podcasts. The playback is clear and the volume is loud enough. I really like being able to control the playback of audio remotely and take a call. It works well. However ... I do occasionally have to reload the bluetooth profile on my phone (which takes a minute and I think is the phone's fault)about 2-3 times a week because it stops working. Aside from this minor bit of windows stupidity it works well. But man does it look dorky! They are bigger than they appear in the picture and stick out from your ears quite noticeably. The blinking blue lights (every half a second when transmitting) draw attention to the fact that you look like a dork and are using bluetooth headphones. The light can be turned off so no worries.Aside from the appearance and the occasional windows silliness they work and work well.

Pros:Sounds amazingPerforms perfectlyNice designComfortableCons:A little too bigSwitch gets pressed unintentionallyI got these for the sole reason for taking it to the gym. I do not like cords slowing me down or getting snagged on gym equipment and this headset is perfect for the job.It syncs with most phones or audio equipment with A2DP compatibility. My Sony W810i did not have it so I switched to a RAZR V3xx so that I can have the ability to play music and phone functionality. It plays music in stereo and the sound is amazing. It also pauses the music when I get an incoming call while Im doing my workout sets. Press a button and you can toggle between call and music. The left ear unit works as a cel phone bluetooth headset by itself with the volume controls (and flashing blue light) when paired with a phone. When used as a music headset, it enables both earpieces to be activated, together with the rew and ff controls on the right ear.The unit has it share of some flaws too. First, it's big. It sticks out a little too much from your ear due to the padding and the sheer size of the unit (Hello, Princess Leia!). If it were smaller, i would had given it 5 Stars. People complain about the flashing blue light....you can turn it off if desired so it's a non-issue. The neckband is comfortable though a little flimsy. It wobbles due to the weight of the ear units, I would had preferred if it were sturdier-looking. The control buttons are huge too, it takes up 3/4 of each of the earpieces. They can be accidentally pushed in your bag or any confined space and there isnt a way to lock the buttons.Overall it's a good product - range is good, and the sound is amazing. The mic also is sensitive and perfect for taking calls. My friends say that they cannot tell Im using a heaset when Im taking to them. One word of caution though, some States do not allow both ears to be covered while driving so it might not totally replace those dorky one-ear celphone bluetooths you might have while you are driving.

I do find that I have to adjust the equilizer type quite a bit because these headphones pick up everything and can tend to distort. They also tend to get a little tight after a couple of hours, but for people who have earbud NON-friendly ears these don the trick.Overall, these have pretty good sound quality for a pretty inexpensive set of headphones.

I just recently got this. I charged it, paired it with my cell phone (easily) and it worked right off the bat. (I have a Samsung U520) All the buttons worked like they were supposed to, the volume is not real loud, but plenty loud enough even for highway driving. I was concerned about the size of the headset and how it would fit as some say it pinches their ears, and one said they were surprised at how small they were. However, I do not have a small head, and they fit beautifully without any pinching. They do stay put when you are moving around alot like cleaning house and such. I received a call while listening to music, and as promised, it paused the music and I was able to answer the call using the headset. I did realize, that even tho the music was at full volume, that I could turn the call up even higher, making them excellent for when driving in the car, especially on the highway with lots of road noise. I cannot imagine paying $100 + for a different pair. The quality of the sound is great. And all the regular bluetooth commands for my phone work with this headset. I would definitely recommend it. No need to spend extra money. I mentioned the phone I have (again, a Samsung U520), because the Jabra web site does NOT list this phone. But it works fine with it anyway.

the upside is it works with my nokia 6133, cool blinking light that can be turn on or off. but that's about it. since the sound is not that impressive, heavy bass and dull medium-high.what would i say. there is something that look good but lousy in performing. this is it. the headphone kinda heavy and uncomfortable to wear for more than half an hour.the buttons are so sensitive. you can't keep them in your back without accidentally turning it on. and if you, like me, pairing with your phone without connecting confirmation, you might end up making several phone calls to people in your phone address book and burn your cell minutes.the connection could be interrupted any times, even the headphones are only a few feet away from your bluetooth device. this was confirmed by connect it to my laptop, still have periods of silence every 10-20 mins.the final straw was the distortion of the sound pitch. it is a wave of lo-hi pitch shifting sound sound like it has been pass thru your neighbor's karaoke machine that they were figuring how to use it. no, i could stand all of above but i could not stand the head phone that make pro-musicians sounded like armatures.
